Fantastic experience: My experience with Oakfield and in particular Chris G has been fantastic. Chris has made a huge effort to understand what i want and need to get out of my sessions with him. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so. He has a great approach to training and is able to push me beyond what i would do in the gym on my own!

Fantastic experience: Just finished off a 12 session block at Oakfields. It's been fantastic. I had Chris as my trainer, and has been amazing. Fantastic experience: Went to Oakfield PT with a neck/back injury about 9 months ago, and have gone from strength to strength since. Dave’s attention to detail, and working with local physios, has allowed me to remain injury free, get stronger and develop sport specific fitness, a place I didn’t think I would be in before I joined. Would thoroughly recommend, it has been the best personal investment into my exercise/health to date. Just sign up, you won’t regret it!
Fantastic experience: Training at Oakfields has, without question, been the best thing I've ever done for my physical and mental wellbeing. I signed up as an increasingly unfit desk jockey with numerous old rugby niggles, a worsening bad back and low motivation. The last thing I needed was an intense, hyper-competitive and macho environment that can exist in some gyms, and here the guys at Oakfields didn't let me down. From my first chat with Chris, he made me feel at ease, and sought to understand where I was and where I wanted to get to. From there he built a tailor-made exercise and diet regime that was challenging but enjoyable and brought noticeable results in a short time frame. Chris has an encyclopaedic knowledge of health, fitness and wellbeing. He pushes without being pushy and keeps the sessions varied and interesting. Most importantly for me, he is a wonderful person who takes the time build a bond with his clients, making every session fun and leaving you wanting to come back for more. Thanks to Chris and the whole team at Oakfields. You're all awesome!
Fantastic experience: I have been going to David for a number of years, he is excellent. Professional, friendly and encouraging; David modifies the exercise routines to meet changing goals and also to keep the sessions fresh. The whole team are really friendly and have a genuine enthusiasm for fitness and wellbeing.
Fantastic experience: Brilliant trainers who make getting fit a lot of fun! I go to Chris who is also very knowledgable about diet. It is very helpful the physio is next door as they can work together.
Fantastic experience: I'm 46 years old and never loved exercising but today I did 55km on The Tour of Bristol and I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't have enjoyed it 15 years ago! Thanks coach Chris for improving my physical and mental health. :-)

Fantastic experience: Highly professional team. Friendly, expert health and fitness advice and coaching. In my case my surgeon recommended I get a personal trainer and get as fit as I could in 6 weeks, which I did with Oakfields’ help. Fantastic experience: Went along to my first boot camp with a couple of friends. We all really enjoyed it and are planning to make it a regular thing. Monthly packages are great value and depend on how often you would like to train, so there's something to suit everyone. Well organised with Station sanitation and social distancing, with a great range of equipment.

Fantastic experience: My husband Ray and I have been training with David Rees for over a year. We're both fitter than we were and also a stone lighter! Being in my sixties I don't need to be rowing the Atlantic or be competing with 20 year olds but David tailor-makes our programme and pushes us a bit further than we would push ourselves. Perhaps even more important at our age to be fit. Also being weighed in each week provides a focus on healthy eating and motivates us. Added to which the training sessions are fun and we look forward to them. David is such a nice guy and being rugby fanatics it's great to chat with him. Would thoroughly recommend Oakfields PT!
Fantastic experience: Started training with Dave at Oakfield in 2013. Dave's training combined with the small and private venue, housing good facilities, brought my confidence up and helped me achieve a massive weight loss goal. The friendly PT's also helped me with nutrition and diet advice. To combine with the personal exercise plan made for me. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Great gym for personal training. I have been going here for over 2 years and have been training with Lee. It is friendly and well run, with good facilities. All of the trainers are knowledgeable and enthusuatic, and the location is convenient. Highly recommended. Lee is always well prepared to ensure I get the most out of each session and he works me hard.
Fantastic experience: I met Rob Tweedie at Oakfields Personal Training 8 weeks before I was due to move to Thailand for a year. I hadn't done any fitness training in a very long time. He tailored a programmed based specially on my needs and set each session up so that I worked hard but still enjoyed it. It really worked for me and feel really good. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Fantastic experience: I started seeing Chris @ Oakfields PT about 8 months ago, with the aim of improving my overall fitness and strength. Chris always pays meticulous attention to detail, every session is different and Chris demonstrates how to complete each exercise to gain maximum benefit. Chris is very easy-going and fun, although he does push you hard to achieve the results you want. He is incredibly motivating, yet without the macho attitude that some trainers have! In the time I've been going, my fitness and strength have come on dramatically. I cannot rate Chris highly enough, and have recommended him to my close friends. Tim
Fantastic experience: I've worked with Oakfields PT for about three years now in my role as Womens Captain for City of Bristol Rowing club. Chris has helped us design and implement the strength & conditioning programme for the squad members from the complete beginners to the high performance group. Chris is reliable and always positive. He puts a lot of thought into the programme and has always been able to tailor it to individual needs or adapt the programme to fit in with our other training requirements. He's always on hand to provide advice on nutrition and injury prevention as well. In the time he has been training us, our top squad has gone from only just making the finals at the National Competitions to bringing home the silverware - repeatedly!! We've also stayed injury free and everyone has managed to pull a PB on the rowing machine as well as lift weights that were impossible at the start of the season.
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Chris for almost 10 years. My original goal was general fitness and core strength. Chris has always challenged me to move forwards with my training using varied exercises, methods and equipment. In more recent years Chris has helped me with a new goal of running. He has adjusted my training for problematic knees and reacted to any issues that have arisen and last year I ran the Bristol Half Marathon. The atmosphere is relaxed but hard-working. The trainers have a friendly approach and a good sense of humour.They are all very professional and committed to helping each person achieve their personal goal, whatever it is.
