Fantastic experience: We had a really great long weekend at Wingfield Escapes. The larger glamping tents we stayed in were amazing, spotlessly clean, comfy beds and linen, super private shower room and toilet attached and the kitchen/lounge area was very spacious and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Simon & Danielle the owners had thought of everything their guests might need for a really comfortable stay. The goody box on arrival was a lovely gesture too. The location was great and the secure outdoor grassed area around the tents was perfect for the children in our party to run around and play with the many outdoor games provided by the site. Would highly recommend Wingfield Escapes and hope to revisit next year.

Fantastic experience: Hired all four of the lovely tents for an extended family stay 8 adults and 9 kids. Plenty of room, really clean, great kitchens and shower rooms and Simon & Danielle were fantastic welcoming hosts. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a fantastic few days at Wingfield escapes. This is our second year here and we love it. Accommodation was fab and had everything we needed. The size was perfect for the five of us. Lots of cooking utensils, pans, glasses, cutlery etc. Beds were super comfy with nice quality linen. Very clean inside and out. Lovely clean bathroom with nice towels etc. The grounds are lovely with lots of additional stuff for the children to use. The owners are amazing and always very accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Had a fab time staying in the two large safari tents, perfect for two families of 4 each. Tents are so well equipped with everything included, hosts are really helpful, and loads of ball games etc. for the kids to play with. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: A fantastic glamping site with super luxurious safari tents, great facilities and lovely hosts. Perfect for families with loads of space for the kids to roam free. We hope to return soon!

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend here. Simon & Danielle was very welcoming. The tent was a great size even for a family of 5. The honesty shop & games was a lovely touch that came in very handy. We will be booking again 100%

Fantastic experience: We stayed for three nights in October and had such a great time. We've been glamping a few times, and this was definitely the most 'glam': en-suite bathroom, wood-burner, 3 seperate sleeping areas, double gas stove, kitchen sink – with electricity and hot running water in the tent! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and a nice covered deck so you can still be outside even when it's raining. Our three kids absolutely loved it too! Lovely people who run it; they took amazing care of us and even left out sweets and decorations for the kids. Would definitely go again!

Fantastic experience: Perfect. All the draws of camping with non of the drawbacks. Everything thought of, relaxing and amazing for the dog. 100% would recommended

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a great Easter stay at Wingfield Escapes with my family and Dog. The tent was spacious , super clean and we all enjoyed the lovely welcome pack of Choc eggs, biscuits and dog treats. There was so much space and we were lucky to have a family next door who had a dog and child which means we could let the dogs (and children) run free in the secured paddock together. Our kids and dog literally had the best time. Simon and Danielle couldn’t be more helpful. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back it was in a very picturesque spot with amazing sunsets.

Fantastic experience: What can I say but amazing! We hired whole site for birthday celebration, Simon and Danielle went above and beyond to make this weekend perfect. Safari tents, bell tents and barn area were spotless and had everything you needed to have a very comfortable glamping experience. Simon liaised with a outside activities organiser which achieved a successful day of entertainment for children and adults on Wingfields escapes grounds. We will be back, we as a group have already said we will be booking as individuals and a group again. Thank you Simon and Danielle for making my birthday perfect!

Fantastic experience: Wingfield Escape was absolutely lovely. We hired the entire complex for a hen party weekend. Upon arriving, we were welcomed by Simon and showed around. He was always there to assist us if we needed, from just a simple text or phone call. The tents were very clean, tidy and was surprised of how actually spacious it was inside, the ladies really enjoyed the stay with the hope of all returning next year. Highly recommend Wingfield Escape.

Fantastic experience: Prefect wholesome trip to the Suffolk countryside! Accommodation is premium and fairly priced. Have a newly converted bar on site from the old stables, stocking locally brewed drinks. Simon and Danielle are great host and would definitely come again!

Fantastic experience: A fabulous weekend with the dogs. Daytimes spent walking the beautiful coast and evenings spent drinking wine and watching the sunset on the veranda of these lovely glamping tents. Danielle and Simon were great hosts, without being overbearing and ensured our stay was perfect from start to finish. Every need was catered for and we would highly recommend a visit. We will certainly return.

Fantastic experience: Spent a great few days at Wingfield! The tents are spacious and very clean with all the essentials (kitchen utensils, towels, comfortable bedding and hot showers). The welcome box was a lovely treat for us and included a doggie treat too! The property is secure for kids to run around freely and private enough from other tents that you have your own space to enjoy all the natural beauty of the beautiful countryside!

Fantastic experience: We had a truly brilliant stay!! We had a 2/4 man 'tent' (Pheasant) which was huge and very comfortable. It came with everything we needed, including towels and utensils. The toilet/shower was in a wooden add-on to the tent so very private. We took our dog and he was made very welcome, they left him bowls and there was a large fenced area for him to run around in (the dog had as much fun as us!) The log burner was fantastic and there's so much space to enjoy, it's very private and the beauty of it is that there are so few 'tents' you don't have to see anyone if you don't want to (although we had doggy playdates with our 'neighbours'!) Would 100% recommend for a private, country break.

Fantastic experience: We had the happiest staycation at Wingfield in the Pheasant hut. The quality and cleanliness of the accommodation was more than 5 stars and all of the little touches like the honest shop, games and chickens made our stay all the more fun. Simon and Danielle were such wonderful hosts and when we needed something sorted it was done within minutes. Cannot wait to return!

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a fantastic weekend away at Wingfield Escapes. As first time glampers it was so much more than we could have hoped for. The tents were incredibly cosy and had everything you needed and more, every little detail had been thought of. The kids loved the freedom of the outdoor space which was safe and secure. They enjoyed checking in on the chickens and chopping wood for the evening fire pit. There was even a kids corner with games to keep them entertained. Fantastic experience: We have just returned from our second stay at Wingfield Escapes. It was just as fabulous as before! The tents are always super clean and tidy, with all essentials that you might need. We were so touched by the welcome box of treats that also contained 2 biscuits for our dogs. It was such a personal touch. We had a wonderful weekend with our families. The children could run free, as well as the dogs, and as all the areas where the tents are are fully secure, you could rest assured that all were safe. We already can’t wait to return again. Danielle and Simon really have thought of everything!

Fantastic experience: Glamping at its very, very best! We stayed for 3 nights last week and it was wonderful, very peaceful and relaxing. The tents are a cut above, spacious and spotlessly clean, with ensuite facilities and literally everything you could ever need. Our 3 girls, and dog, loved running around outside, toasting marshmallows and all the games provided, especially the rounders set. Well done Simon and Danielle, it was brilliant, we just need an excuse to come back now!

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing find and one I would highly recommend. The tents have everything you need plus added extras - the welcome box, pint of milk, fleecy blankets and firewood all made our stay even better. Our girls loved the honesty shop where we bought, (very cheaply) extra firewood to keep the firepit/BBQ going outside and then used what was left to light the wood burner. The owners are very friendly and were keen to know that everything was ok and that we didn't need anything. Running hot water, flushing toilet and shower made the stay perfect - our girls didn't want to leave! The site is also ideally located to visit Southwold, Aldburgh, Woodbridge (Sutton Hoo) and Framlingham Castle. If you stay you won't be disappointed

Fantastic experience: Stayed for 3 nights in hare lodge. Accommodation was great with great facilities. Simon and danielle were great hosts where and nothing was too much to ask! Loads of things to do in the surrounding area. My family had a wonderful weekend.

Fantastic experience: An amazing experience. A huge tent, complete with hideaway bedroom which was a hit with the children. Massive amounts of space so the site never felt remotely crowded, and very friendly and attentive hosts. Would definitely come back.

Fantastic experience: Having never been glamping or even camping before I didnt really know what to expect. I was blown away with the accommodation and the attention to detail. We absolutely loved our stay and our children still talk about our stay, so much so I've booked for this year. I highly recommend Wingfield Escapes to anyone wanting a luxury glamping experience.
