Wythenshawe Weightlifting Club

Wythenshawe Weightlifting Club is an Olympic Weightlifting Club which coaches competitive athletes, from local competitions to national championships. The club has one of the finest track records in the country for producing international standard lifters and medallists at both Commonwealth and Olympic championships. Within our club we have multiple national champions and a Commonwealth Games medallist. The gym is staffed by fully qualified coaches with many years experience who can help anyone achieve the goals they desire within the competitive weightlifting landscape. Wythenshawe WLC is a not for profit organisation and any funds received by the club is put into the club to benefit the athletes and their training facilities.
