Fantastic experience: This is one the few gyms that will keep me coming back, Nice Spacious Gym area , I personally like the lifting platforms and very high quality watt bikes and treadmills topped off with excellent showering facilities. Has a Nice Cafe and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I joined the Monday morning Body Pump class twice while I was visiting and really enjoyed it. The sport centre is really clean and the equipment is all in great shape. The class moved at a good pace and the instructor had such a nice energy. I felt motivated and comfortable both times. Everyone in the class was super friendly and made me feel welcome, which made the whole experience even better. It’s a shame I’m only here for a short time because I’d definitely come back if I lived nearby. Wishing her an amazing wedding and a wonderful start to this new chapter. She brings so much good energy to the class, I hope her special day is just as warm and happy as she makes everyone feel.

Positive experience: Good value courts to hire for only a fiver on certain days, floors look a little well used compared to when they first opened and could be kept cleaner but not so bad. Cafe isn't anything to write home about and membership is very overpriced but a welcome option for things to do round Elgin.

Fantastic experience: Started using Moray Sports Centre recently where I mainly use the gym. Some of the equipment is a bit dated i.e. running machines, stair stepper but I was told they are due an upgrade this summer. Some of the weighted machines could do with a bit of upholstery work. I am kinda picking holes for the sake of picking holes because the gym facilities are brilliant and spotless. I love the separate room for workouts and stretching which is a brilliant idea. Although it can be busy there is always a piece of equipment to use. The toilets are spotless and the changing room is first class with good lockers and privacy changing rooms. The showers are all individual cubicles and are hot and powerful. The cafe is really good although on one occasion I was made feel like a hindrance rather than a customer but I suppose we all have an off day. Overall, IMHO it is a first class facility, with friendly staff and worth joining.

Positive experience: 1st visit to the Sports Centre for a Junior Tennis Tournament. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Visited on a Sunday and found the centre to be quiet. Reception staff were friendly and polite. Cafe looked decent however was closed. Plenty of comfortable seating within the main building and the toilets were spotless. There are 4 covered hard court Tennis courts which were excellent to play on. The courts were very cold however it was January. The only downfall I found was the lack of a viewing area courtside. There is a small entrance vestibule which allowed some limited visibility but was inadequate. Sadly for junior tournaments where there are obviously parents looking to watch its a shame this was not thought of. Other than that centre was lovely.

Negative experience: For tennis, extremely high quality tennis courts. But prices are so high - £20 an hour is more than what I would pay for a court in central in London.

Fantastic experience: A well used community venue with a great café and facilities. There's a little outside playing area for kids, and excellent parking.

Fantastic experience: Great space in the sports hall, could do with sorting the Aircon as it gets really hot in there. Good changing facilities and cafe with seating area

Positive experience: It's really good for the clubs but they may need some air freshener! Walked in while the kickboxing club took up all the chairs and was greeted with the rankest smell of BO I have ever smelt! Unfortunately, it's every time and not just the once. Would be 5 star but that definitely lowers it

Fantastic experience: Woah this is an amazing facility! Sadly I visited when the cafe wasn’t open but it looked as if there were some super options. Gym floor is really well kitted out- I was using a proper watt bike which was nice! Easy to use for drop ins as well.

Positive experience: I popped in for a coffee after my run, I am a Coeliac and asked if they had anything but they didn't, so I just had a coffee, not sure if they cater for Gluten free

Positive experience: Went to a Christmas fayre the place was huge,plenty of stalls ,toilets nice and clean...but...cafe was very very short on food there was big queue for drinks ( only 2 very hard working ladies serving ) hope next Christmas they put sandwiches on

Positive experience: The centre is a fantastic facility. Large sports hall and gym and very clean and modern. However, when we visited on Sunday for a cricket tournament, we were really disappointed that the Coffee Shop was closed. There were many,many parents waiting there for their child, for a couple of hours. I heard several saying that they were annoyed that they couldn't even get a cuppa. The vending machine that was available had very limited choice. Nothing other than water was available if you don't or can't opt for 'diet' or sugar-free options. The previous cafe being open at the weekends was great for a Sunday piece. Or a wee stop for the dog walkers. I think the centre is missing out by not even having a basic offering when a large group will be using the facility.

Positive experience: I only use the gym so can't comment on everything else, good size with OK equipment. The gym is quiet most nights and pretty much dead on a Friday and weekends, but when it's busy good luck getting on equipmemt. Dumbbells up to 60kg. 2 squat racks that also get used as bench press - needs dedicated bench press racks as the racks can both be used for upto 2 hrs when the powerlifting lads are in. 5 good benches. 3 deadlift platforms - all need to be replaced as they are warped from heavy deadlifts. Smith machine Cable crossover that keeps getting broken. Cardio equipment. Weight machines For the cost of the membership, you would think we would get the kit repaired quickly but it can take up to 3 months to get anything replaced. Don't ask for new kit as no one listens to you once your paying a membership.

Negative experience: Very poor service, was told when waiting for someone that I could not wait in viewing gallery and forced to wait downstairs. Staff are very rude and condescending

Negative experience: Restaurants slow very slow. Order wrong and not even busy. No choice of food available. Don't waste your time here.

Positive experience: Swimming pool , showers and changing areas in need of a MASSIVE overhall/refurb. In the pool was slippery unfoot YUK , half of the showers closed off and the ones that did work the water was FREEZING . VERY POOR

Fantastic experience: Brilliant sports centre. We were able to use the gym as guests for a one off fee which was perfect as I was only there for a few days with work. The lovely lady on reception (Leanne) was really really friendly and helpful and the other lad who I believe was called Reece was also really nice. The gym had everything you would need - plenty of space and decent machines and free weights.

Positive experience: I'm new to the area and was out walking with my dog and came a cross this place it had a paw sticker in the window so thought I'd pop in for a coffee, I was taken a back a little as when I walked in I felt rather jumped on by a member of staff, no greeting just can I help you, when I explained I was in for a coffee I was directed to the row of tables where you could sit with dogs, it didnt feel welcoming at all, but the lady who did my coffee and brought it over and the lady who took my money was very friendly and polite so made me feel a little more welcome and I would go back.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and welcoming staff - from the first phone call to book a badminton court - to the receptionist on arrival (same lassie), to the janitor guy on our leaving. Not the cheapest badminton court I've booked at £11 50 but quality sprung wood floor and all set up perfectly for us. Top draw Moray Sports Centre - thanks
