Negative experience: Half decent gym little bit small so gets busy . Good luck trying to cancel your membership it's a nightmare

Positive experience: Lovely gym, but not very reliable on its availability to non-members or day pass goers. Half the time I've shown up, I wasn't able to go inside because nobody's around to unlock the main door. It would be great if they resolved this.

Positive experience: Had a free trial today, gym was lovely, well organised and fairly clean although I think the toilet could use more cleaning (the toilet seat was stained and discoloured). I’m sure I will be buying my membership soon. The customer service provided by Callie throughout was the best I’ve ever had from a gym and I’ve gone to at least 10 gyms in my years training. The aircon is set perfectly to ensure comfortable training year round, this was by far the biggest selling point compared to local competitors who cheap out on the AC being off, broken or set too warm.

Positive experience: Plenty of machines, not so crowded. One issue: the smell from the shower cabins in the men's changing room is unsupportable.

Negative experience: Edit*** as I can not respond to your response, as I stated I had an email for an advertised price no joining fees etc HOWEVER WHEN YOU CLICK THROUGH THE LINK the price all of a sudden changes it is no longer the advertised price! therefor my first complaint where I stated the price advertised was not the price that came through regardless of the extra classes option it never worked that way! The gym, was great at first, but noticed the high staff turnover. When I signed on through a link it offered a special of £29.99 per month and no joining fee, this link did not work and a joining fee was paid as well as a higher monthly rate, when I emailed they chose to ignore this complaint. Got tied into 12months which is fine as I knew that, however dealing with complaints or any changes are not dealt with correctly.

Fantastic experience: Genuinely a home away from home, always so clean and well kept and everyone respects the gym and our own responsibility to keep it looking tip top, all staff are super friendly whenever I attend in staffed hours but I am mainly a night time gym goer, definitely feels safe and has a wide range of equipment. As a bigger girl who was very nervous to begin my gym journey I'm very glad I chose energie, I've done a few classes and they are very motivational, I can't wait to continue my journey and see more results! ☺️

Negative experience: May 24 review- Still has music blasting out of the speakers of the yard when sonme of the staff are giving a class. Some staff are more considerate of other gym users and realise it doen't need to be blasting out, it's fighting with different music coming out of the speakers in the rest of the gym. There are staff at the gym who usually have heavy metal music on when they are on duty. Sunday - when staff leave early, please be more considerate and put more easy listening music on the sound system. Heavy metal is not everyone's ideal listening and I can usually still hear it over my ear buds which are on maximum volume. Please either change the music to chart music past or present or the local radio or radio 1, or turn the volume down so people can hear their own choice of music through their earbuds or earphones. Thank you. First review a year ago see below- Staff are friendlly and usually very helpful. Music sometimes far too loud. Most people in the gym wear ear buds or earphones, sometimes you need to deafen yourself so you can hear your own choice of music over their awful blaring racket. I usually go to the gym after 7;30pm, but my home schedule has changed so I tried a workout at 5.45 this evening. I was on the apparatus and the music started booming out of the speakers. The gym was very busy and I could see other people wearing earphones and earbuds. I spoke to the lady on reception and she said it was loud because there was a class in the divided section called the yard. I checked the yard, there was one guy on the punch bag and one lady and a gym staff member. The music was booming for one person taking the class. I asked the lady on reception whether it was justified to have the loud music for two people in the yard, when the gyn was busy with lots of people going deaf trying to hear their own music over the booming racket. There was no comment!! I left as it was very annoying!

Positive experience: Nice enough gym, but a bit limited on number of machines so would recommend avoiding peak times

Positive experience: Great once you're inside. Only way I've been able to enter so far is when someone's heard me knocking on the door. Tried the intercomm, no one answers, left intercomm voicemail, no one responds. As a gym pass member, I don't have a key fob or passcode to use. Reply to Wendy: your intercomm definitely says it does. After the intercomm rings for 30-60sec it says to leave a msg after the tone. So even during manned hours I have to keep knocking or wait for someone else to enter/leave. And I've definitely been to your gym using gympass, so not sure why you don't have my details...

Positive experience: After a week off nice to have the gym not too full, lots of equipment to keep everyone happy. Tasty shake in the first after but at £3 each there quite expensive. Back tomorrow I'm sure.

Fantastic experience: Had a great morning shown around and used the equipment and how to use the equipment properly by ben and when I thought I couldn't do anymore he was confident that I could do it. Only thing I will definitely not be using is the free weights as I could feel and see 2 people watching me other than that I felt really great after my workout.

Positive experience: A very good gym for the small space it is in with plenty of machines including treadmills and rowing machines. The locker room was clean and tidy with good facilities including a shower

Negative experience: Such a bad experience with this business. We had a family tragedy, and I had to cancel my membership. They continued to harass me and charge me even though I went into the business. It caused me a great deal of stress. The lack of integrity of some of the staff is shocking. I could not recommend

Negative experience: Went for a free trial as I was looking for a cheaper alternative to my current gym. Arrived to bad smells, pt's advising ropey Kettlebell form, idle numpties taking up all the equipment and staff too busy bantering with each other to do anything about it. Left rapid! Negative experience: The worst gym i have ever joined. They dont care about your mental health, for them is must importent you pay monthly. I wanted close my membership because of anxiety, but they said pay full half year Bill then you can cancel. Thats ridiculos!!!!! My advice, stay away from them!!!!

Fantastic experience: I'm a convert to Energie from a well known 'premium' gym in Bridgend and Energie is way better. No having to book classes a week in advance at 7am if you want a chance of a place, Energie classes always have space. Lovely staff who I've actually got to know and I genuinely feel they care about you as an individual. Great quality up to date equipment which is way better than the dated stuff in my old gym. And brilliant prices to top it off. Don't waste your money elsewhere, join here!

Fantastic experience: Been a member at Energie Fitness Bridgend since it opened, very friendly and helpful staff always on hand if needed. Great atmosphere and always plenty of machines free when I train. Always new equipment arriving, excellent value for money ! Classes are very popular and also good fun. Would highly recommend this local friendly gym.

Fantastic experience: Finally a gym that makes me feel at ease Being a plus size woman I've never felt very welcome in some gyms, I joined last week and have been three times now and everytime someone smilies at you or asks how you're doing. I particularly want to say thanks to Tonia for making me feel at ease in my first class and helping me with moves. A friendly gym that is definitely helping me towards my weight loss goal. Going into a gym plus sized is very scary but the staff are so welcoming, it’s bigger than it looks from the outside, the equipment is up to date and I don’t ever find the gym really busy so there’s no waiting to use something, I look forward to going to the gym because it’s so relaxed I don’t feel judgement when going in

Positive experience: Pleasant staff, good facilities and clean. Will upgrade to 5 stars, once the lat pull down bar grip is fixed and there’s a good bicep curl attachment.

Negative experience: Travelled for 30mins to get there only to be refused because I didn't have a mask to walk into the building (all of a few steps). would have been better if she just advised me I needed one for next time, rather than telling me to go.

Negative experience: I was a member for about 3 years in total and it was a nice gym but not so much anymore. A handful of the staff are friendly however, far too busy at most times of the day now which means it can be very difficult to use certain equipment. There also appears to be a mould problem on the walls recently which is probably not the best thing to be breathing in. On a personal level, I eventually cancelled my membership however I was told I owe a final month. I reinstated my direct debit as instructed to sort this however, in less than 24 hours I was referred to a debt collection agency and incurred a fee as a result. I spoke to staff about this but was pretty much told that it’s out of their hands. Having been a member for 3 years and paid during the lockdowns (at a time when people could freeze their payments, I was one of many who kept paying in order to support local business at a time of uncertainty - silly me) it really stinks! Customer loyalty doesn’t mean a thing it appears and to be referred to a debt collection agency just shows they don’t care about their members. My advice to anyone considering joining is don’t. There are much better alternatives to consider such as K2 on the industrial estate or SNAP fitness. Énergie fitness - where you belong (because if you leave we’ll do your legs)

Positive experience: Good little gym and decent price, been there for 3 months and enjoying my weight training for the first time in a long time as the gym gives me consistency. 24 hours has been beneficial. Pros It’s tidy Air con New equipment Enough machines to cope with busy times Friendly staff Things to improve on Another squat rack needed due to high demand Another set of lower weights available 5-10KG as can be frustrating when only one set and in use Needs a calf machine Taking too long to fix one of the biggest using machines in the gym, been out of use for couple weeks now. Unfortunately one of the members of staff has bad hygiene (literally need to cover my nose) management should acknowledge this problem and address this as the gym prides itself on cleanliness. More challenging classes for mid - high experienced gym members.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous joining a gym that it took me 2 months to summon up the courage to join and I'm so glad I chose this gym. Super friendly staff, facilities are super and my first cycle class was insane the other day!! It wasn't too hard but not too easy either and I loved it. Adam was amazing on the phone to me too. I don't have much confidence but this gym is slowly changing me. Look forward to trying more out soon.

Positive experience: High quality, aesthetically pleasing gym. Lot’s of friendly staff (including personal trainers). 24 hours is amazing. Only issue is no free parking, which is understandable as it is located next to Asda and a Pay and Display council car park. All in all lovely facility.

Fantastic experience: I've only been 5 times since joining a few days ago but it's a nice clean gym with all sorts of machines and weights, punchbags and classes. Treadmills are all interactive with TV screens or challenges and goals etc. Good parking near by. Great price, great gym!

Fantastic experience: Nice and clean new gym. Friendly welcoming staff for the most part.l. The equipment is pretty varied with one or two key items missing. Dip bars for example. Supposed to open at 6am but multiple times I've waited til nearly 6.30am before leaving with it still closed. Hence the reason for only a 3 star review and a cancelled membership on my part. edit..Having returned to the gym this month as everyone deserves a second chance I've really been impressed. Great atmosphere and the 24 hour opening times and value for money makes this gym a very attractive proposition. Keep up the great work.

Fantastic experience: Relaxed friendly environment, clean and good shower/changing rooms, monthly rolling direct debt contract which is obviously way more flexible than a 6 to 12 month contract sign in. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and so are members which adds to the whole experience of wanting to work out for your needs.

Fantastic experience: We called just to check opening hours on boxing day and were told about a free day pass we could get from the website. This was really simple and took a maximum of 1 minute to complete. The gym is huge and has every machine you could hope for, plus 3 of every free weight. The guy who was working (Jake, I think!) was lovely and showed us around plus stayed open a little later to allow us to shower and not rush out. Would recommend!

Negative experience: The only reason I'm giving a 1 star is because I cancelled my membership so then the direct debit was cancelled a few months ago and I came home today to find a bill at my door of 186.47 in back payments I received no emails or letters telling me I was getting charged or that my membership wasn't cancelled its absolutely disgusting when this isn't even my fault now so be careful guys

Positive experience: Cheap monthly membership and all the kit you could want. Much better than Halo which I was a member of for 3 years and £16 a month cheaper, no brainer.

Positive experience: Good place to workout. In city centre of Bridgend. Have got free classes everyday. Helpful team. Good amount of weights to train. Not too crowded. And have a separate yard to practice boxing and do core excercises
