I help people Get Fit To Row. I do this through workouts, training and coaching. Let’s begin at the beginning, In 1989 I was stilling around at University wasting my life away, doing nothing and I accidentally came across a boat shed. I knew nothing about rowing, but by 1998 - without too much effort - I’d started winning races around the UK. I’d learnt that simple was hard, very hard. I’d learnt that being consistent with my focus, my timekeeping, my effort, my eating and how I was sleeping all mattered as much as getting fit on a rowing machine, taking part in the gym session and getting a good performance in a boat.
