Anytime Fitness Guildford

Negative experience: Hands down the worst gym to ever join. Staffs are rude and extremely dismissive. The equipments are never clean. The idiot managing the place only cares about money. There are better options in the area to consider. Avoid this gym at all cost.

Fantastic experience: Came here on a Saturday afternoon and was not busy at all Really well equipped and had some pretty rare pieces of equipment Shout out to Ben the PT who was really friendly and helpful and knows how to manage a good gym playlist

Fantastic experience: I’ve had the chance to visit different Anytime Fitness locations in London, but the Guildford is by far the best. The space is extremely clean, well-organised, and genuinely pleasant to be in. The equipment is in great condition, everything works perfectly, and the overall environment makes training a really enjoyable experience. The staff is also outstanding, always friendly, polite, and truly helpful. I want to highlight Ben, one of the managers, who is exceptionally kind and consistently available to support members. He really goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels welcome and well taken care of. I highly recommend the Guildford Anytime Fitness. Outstanding gym and an amazing place to workout.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Guildford. Really nice staff and it's very rarely too busy, even during peak hours. I previously trained at PureGym, and the equipment at Anytime is significantly better, and the price is only marginally higher. Would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym a few months ago and I'm really happy with it. Staff are kind and welcoming, plenty of equipments and machines to choose from, spacious and clean. Ben who originally showed me around is always up for a little chat and happy to give out some good advice too. Definitely recommended it

Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t say enough great things about this place—it’s hands down one of the BEST gyms Guildford has ever had! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly faces and a welcoming vibe. The atmosphere is relaxed but energizing, and the team feels more like friends than staff. The equipment is modern, top-quality, and there’s everything you could possibly need—whether you're training for life, general fitness, or something more intense like Spartan, DEKA, or race events (which I do!). ‍♂️ I love how the space is laid out—heavyweights and functional training upstairs, classic gym setup downstairs. The changing rooms and showers are always clean and on point too! ✨ Honestly, it’s the full package. If you’re serious about your fitness—or just want a great place to move your body—this is the spot. Big thanks to the team. You guys are AMAZING! ❤️

Fantastic experience: Although I am not a regular. I can attest to the gym knowledgeable and warmth of the staff .. Ive known Ben for a few years. Ant the GM is just wonderful. Really lovely guy. Nicole is an effervescent and approachable person with a charm and charismatic nature unfounded in recent years. Jerome is a solid guy. My respect for this team is unbridled.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Quiet, clean, lots of equipment, other members are respectful and friendly staff. Worth spending that little bit more than the mass commercial gyms.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous staff, exceptional equipment, and clearly ahead of all the equipment of any gym locally. Options of classes, mix of fitness, core, boxing, HIIT, some yoga. Great membership price, Dyson hairdryers. And huge gym upstairs. 24x7.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here since it has opened, the staff are great guys along with the owner. Anthony and the guys are always down for a chat anything fitness (or anything for that matter). The equipment is as you'd expect from all anytime franchises, they have a wide range for anything you will need. Whenever I go I feel at home during my workout, couldnt recommend the place more.

Negative experience: About a month ago I was at work (I work on the Guildford high street) and was approached by a big mixed race man representing anytime fitness. He was trying to promote memberships however he came across very unprofessional and creepy. I was trying to decline his offers but he wouldn’t take no for an answer. I understand he’s trying to work but he’s come into my workplace whilst I’m trying to work! He then said he would be back in 5 mins to ask my colleagues even though I said we are all not interested. 10 mins later I am on my smoke break in a short alley and he’s back but with a friend. He questions me on why I didn’t want to sign up and proceeds to say “do you think I was trying to ask you out? Because I can if you want me to.” Whilst his friend laughed. By this point I felt weirded out and I am a small girl with 2 big men infront of me who are also trapping my way out if I wanted to leave. Luckily they understood that I felt a bit awkward and weirded out and took the message and left after a few minutes of trying to talk to me. I normally don’t write review but I felt like I needed to after this experience. This is so unprofessional and just really creepy! This is not how you promote, it is gross.

Fantastic experience: Anthony and Ben are so lovely and welcoming I’m pretty anxious so finding an environment I feel comfortable in is hard… and they’ve managed it. The equipment is fantastic + for a small gym it’s never super busy AND has a great range of classes If you’re a newbie or nervous I can’t recommend it enough

Fantastic experience: One thing is for sure, it is exclusive. Not crowded. I dont have to wait for me to use a machine. Gym itself smells amazing! Having the best workout so far! Hopefully there will be classes every Friday afternoon or even evening classes. That would be fab!

Fantastic experience: NOW OPEN Great addition to AF clubs Very well equipped and newest hammer strength range of kit. Overall great club and is very quiet currently. Staff are very friendly and is a great atmosphere. Access from the parade of shops behind the lion walk centre when the shopping centre is closed.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful gym, high quality equipment, lovely staff, owner is passionate about the gym and takes feedback on well. He's willing to make improvements based on feedback. He's a body builder himself which is reassuring. I have very high hopes for this gym. It's just at the start of its journey but I genuinely believe the owner will make it into a lovely high quality gym that feels like a close nit community without the clutter. Has a good cardio section and CrossFit section. The weightlifting section has good quality hammer strength plates. The machines are very high quality the type you'd expect in a David Lloyds gym. Definitely appreciate how welcomed I felt by Ali. He's a bright, kind and passionate individual who loves a good weightlifting session. You'll be shocked by his youthful look. He will inspire you with how he takes care of himself! The staff will make you feel very welcome definitely introduce yourself to Ben! He's very comforting to be around and will make you feel at home! Many thanks for the great hospitality I've been shown at this gym and the individuals here. ~kamil~
