Our comment from FitFit UK about Centre AT7:
Centre AT7 in Coventry is a vibrant sports hub offering a range of facilities and activities suitable for families and fitness enthusiasts alike. Despite some feedback highlighting issues with cleanliness and overcrowding during peak times, many users appreciate the friendly and supportive staff who strive to create a welcoming environment.
Positive aspects include:
- Varied Activities: The centre features a newly refurbished gym, a well-maintained swimming pool, and excellent sports facilities, including badminton and children's soft play areas.
- Helpful Staff: Many reviews highlight the friendly and knowledgeable staff, especially in reception and at the pool, who make efforts to assist visitors and enhance their experiences.
- Community Feel: Users express enjoyment of the friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to engage with various classes and sports programs.
However, there are areas for improvement:
- Cleanliness: Multiple reviews mention issues with cleanliness, particularly in changing rooms and toilets, indicating a need for better maintenance.
- Booking System: There are concerns regarding the efficiency of the booking system, with users experiencing difficulties in securing spots for popular sessions.
- Overcrowding: During busy times, facilities such as the pool can become overcrowded, affecting the overall experience.
Overall, Centre AT7 offers a range of good facilities and a community-friendly atmosphere, though management could focus on improving cleanliness and operational efficiency for a better user experience.
Centre AT7: Opinions
Negative experience: They need to better job of cleaning the place. I think it needs new management. Place is always dirty especially toilets blocked. Lockers are old require a pound coin to use and need replacing. Pool , jacuzzi and sauna steam facilities are over crowded. The seem to have lots of members… Where does the funding go???
Hi Riz,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re really sorry to hear that your experience hasn’t met expectations.
January is one of our busiest periods of the year, with significantly higher footfall, and facilities such as the pool, sauna and steam room can feel particularly busy at peak times. Our team do carry out regular head counts in these areas to help manage numbers and ensure safety, but we understand that this doesn’t always change how crowded it can feel.
Cleanliness is something we take seriously, and we’re working hard as a team to keep on top of this throughout the day, especially in high-use areas like toilets and changing rooms. We appreciate your feedback around lockers and maintenance too, as this helps inform future planning and improvements.
If you’re happy to share more detail about your visit or would like to discuss your concerns further, please feel free to email us at [email protected] and we’ll be more than happy to look into this.
Thank you again for your feedback.
AT7 Team.
Fantastic experience: Newly refurbished and upgraded gym, very knowledgeable staff, good range of classes and at decent times.
Negative experience: Bad service don’t no refunds
Fantastic experience: One of best places in cov, friendly staff, clean and atmosphere is so good
Negative experience: The council should seriously consider saving taxpayers’ money by shutting this leisure centre for good and investing in something far more productive for kids. A 45 minutes swimming session is simply not good enough as by the time children warm up and actually start enjoying themselves, the session is already over. On top of that, the atmosphere is unpleasant, with lifeguards constantly whistling and shouting like prison officers rather than creating a welcoming, child-friendly environment. Overall, it feels rushed, poorly managed, and not worth not even for free.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your recent experience did not meet your expectations.
Our 45-minute swimming sessions are structured to ensure a safe and well-managed environment for all users. This session length allows for safe changeovers between groups, effective cleaning between sessions, and helps us maintain appropriate lifeguard rotations so standards remain consistently high. While we appreciate that some customers would prefer longer sessions, this approach enables us to deliver a safe, organised and enjoyable experience for the widest range of users, including families and children.
In relation to lifeguard behaviour, safety is always our absolute priority. Our lifeguards are required to actively supervise sessions and intervene when necessary to prevent accidents or unsafe behaviour. While this can sometimes come across as strict, it is always with the intention of keeping everyone safe in and around the water.
We’re genuinely sorry that the atmosphere felt rushed or unwelcoming on this occasion, as this is not the experience we aim to provide. Your comments have been noted and shared with the team so we can continue to reflect and improve.
Thank you again for your feedback.
Positive experience: One person smoking weed on pich 4 at 5pm as the was kids playing football in near by pich next door to pich 4 and I very up with person smoking weed and the staff was very good at helping out with it I had to step in to help the staff
Positive experience: More attention needs to be paid to the cleanliness of bathrooms and toilets.
Fantastic experience: Great gym friendly helpful staff and and good swimming pool
Negative experience: They don't answer the phone. You turn up for swimming and get turned away because it's full. The receptionist are too busy on their mobile phones and charge the wrong amount.

Fantastic experience: I recently booked a badminton court at AT7 and had a fantastic experience. The facility is top-notch, with six courts available, ensuring there's usually a slot open. Crucially, the courts are very well maintained, providing a great playing surface. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making the booking and check-in process smooth. Overall, this is a great place to spend time with friends and play a few matches. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality sports centre.
Fantastic experience: The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, we booked a birthday party in the play area that is great value.
Positive experience: Nice 5-aside pitches.
Fantastic experience: Nice toddler pool, not sure phone number is correct as no one answers!
Negative experience: Do not come to this place they took a booking for a badminton court over the phone and said they would take payment I arrived, very rude reception told us sorry I can’t see your name here and basically told us to leave
Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
We’re really sorry to hear about your experience and that your visit didn’t meet the standard we aim to provide.
This certainly isn’t the level of service we expect, and we’d like to look into what happened with your booking and the interaction at reception. If you’re happy to, please contact us directly at [email protected] so we can investigate this further and do our best to resolve it for you.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to improve.
Negative experience: The splash pool is sold as a water slide, come splash play pool. However your child needs to be over 1.3m to use slides. Pool depth is only Max 0.9 metres. The pool and slides are just not age compatible. Disappointing.
Fantastic experience: Really happy with AT7 Centre — everything here is just great! The place is always clean, well run, and has a really nice vibe. The staff are super friendly and always happy to help. Kasper and Sahill have been fantastic — they were kind and welcoming. They really try their best to make sure the sessions run smoothly and that everyone stays safe while swimming. Their positive attitude and dedication make a big difference. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Fantastic experience: We just held a great 11th Birthday party at the AT7 and the facilities and staff were all great. We had the main pool to ourselves and use of the slides. The party room was a good size and we were allowed in beforehand to set up decorations and party bags etc. The staff were kind enough to help us deflate the twenty inflatables we’d brought and Saab even helped my husband carry things back to the car. Great pool, clean changing rooms and friendly lifeguards! Thank you - our girls had the best time!
Negative experience: I visited the leisure centre for the first time to go swimming and was extremely disappointed by the experience. Upon arrival, I was greeted by staff members behaving unprofessionally behind the reception desk, with food and drinks scattered across the counter. The changing rooms were in a shocking state — there was a strong smell of urine, human waste in the corner of one cubicle, a used sanitary towel on the floor, and food wrappers left behind. It was clear the area had not been cleaned for some time. In the pool, only three-quarters of the space was available due to lessons taking place, yet I was still charged the full admission price. Partway through the session, the fire alarm sounded and everyone was told to evacuate the pool, only to be told moments later that it was a false alarm and to return. The most concerning issue was discovering a razor left on the poolside, which posed a serious safety risk. Alarmingly, no staff member appeared to respond appropriately to this situation. Overall, the entire visit raised major concerns about hygiene, safety, and professionalism.
Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your comments and we're disappointed to hear that your visit was not to standard.
The centre has recently come under new management, and we have sent your feedback over to them to be reviewed and raised with the team.
Kind Regards,
AT7 Team.
Negative experience: I’ve been using Centre AT7 for over 8 years, and I can honestly say this is the worst it has ever been. The management is a joke — constantly making excuses, blaming “parts from Germany” that somehow take months to arrive, while members keep paying for broken facilities. Hygiene is terrible. On my last visit, they claimed the spa was closed for a “deep clean,” yet there was hair all over the steam room floor. I sat in there for 45 minutes and not a single staff member checked the area — a complete failure of health and safety. On a Bank Holiday (when the pool and spa have always been open in the past), everything was shut. When I asked why, the staff couldn’t give a straight answer. It just comes across as lazy and careless. Centre AT7 used to be a great place, but the current management clearly don’t care about the members. They’re happy to take your money but won’t deliver even the basics — working facilities, proper cleaning, or decent customer service. Unless things improve drastically, I won’t be recommending this place to anyone.
Positive experience: Good splash pool for younger kids
Fantastic experience: Really good place staff there are really kind and we do alot of fun stuff
Negative experience: Visited for 45 minutes from quarter past 5 to 6 I’ve been here like six times and it’s been the worst expirence the water tipping thing was closed
Negative experience: All the stuff makes you wait for 1:30 then they will say the ticket is sold out you guys have to go to a different swimming pool
Fantastic experience: We went to a kids birthday party good place for a kids party
Negative experience: Tried to book a swimming session for me and the kids. Tried twice online and got an error message when trying to register. Called multiple times and no one answers the phone
Fantastic experience: Great facilities open to so many ages and abilities. We went to the soft play which was great fun and a swim. Both pools are really nice and changing areas are kept clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful.
Positive experience: Great facilities however they unfortunately never seem to be able to pick up the phone
Negative experience: You cant book the pool, they wont except early payment to secure a spot meaning very disappointed children
Hi Luke,
You can make bookings online for our Splash pool via our website:
https://bookings.cvlife.co.uk/
Alternatively, spaces are on a first come, first serve basis and are released around 10-15 minutes before a session starts at the front desk.
Kind Regards,
AT7 Team.
Fantastic experience: It was really nice and a worker named seb was really nice and she saved my friend from drowning
Negative experience: Extremely Disappointing and Poorly Managed Experience We arrived at the reception at 9:50 AM to buy tickets for the 10:00 swimming session, only to be told it was sold out and that tickets for the 11:00 session could not be purchased until 15 minutes before the session. Fair enough. We informed the receptionist that we would wait at the tables directly in front of her for the 11:00 session. At that point, the tables were empty, so we were clearly the first ones in line. Others showed up after us and received the same information. However, at around 10:40, a woman who arrived last walked up to the reception. When it was finally our turn at 10:43, the receptionist told us the tickets were already sold out—because that same woman had bought all of them. Despite the fact that the receptionist clearly saw we had been waiting there for nearly an hour, she allowed another customer to jump the queue and purchase all the tickets before the official sale time of 10:45. This was a complete waste of our time and incredibly disrespectful. There should absolutely be a limit on how many tickets one person can purchase. And if an entire session is going to be taken by one group, then it should be reserved in advance and other customers should be informed—just like it’s done for the splash pool. The way this situation was handled shows a lack of basic customer service and fairness. We left feeling ignored, frustrated, and disappointed.
Negative experience: While some staff members were pleasant and helpful, many were quite rude. The staff at the pool area and reception, in particular, displayed poor behavior and lacked basic courtesy
Fantastic experience: Great place to play all games and to do gym!
Positive experience: The staff were lovely, guests also very friendly. The splash pool was nicely designed, however for an infant pool ran a little on the colder side, maybe if the pool was put to a temperature suitable for 2months+?? (Just a suggestion) The changing rooms were the only downside. As spacious as they are, the cleanliness was horrific. It smelt like wee the second you open the door to the changing rooms and it was like that all throughout, (men’s, women’s & mixed - husband came as well). It definitely wasn’t the kind of thing I’d expect from a pool facility nor a gym since people of all ages & sensitivities are exposed to such dirt. Would love to see it cleaned more often so that I’d feel comfortable to bring family along.
Negative experience: Don't like it kids sharing showers with adults. Adults giving dirty looks.
Hi Zeenab,
We're disappointed to hear that your visit was not to our usual standard.
if you would like to raise this with the senior team, please contact us on [email protected].
Thank you.
Negative experience: Great place when they actually decide to open on time in the morning!!! Queue of cars sat at the main gate until 07:30 and even later many a time, like many others i have a very tight schedule in the morning and I've often had to miss out on my morning work out due to not being open on time which is not good on my mental health..when they do decide to open the main gates 30 plus people are often left standing at the main entrance until bang on 06:30 then its a mad rush to get in which is not good for the elderly and there's no way of policing who actually is entering the premises, only to get changed then the lane barriers aren't up so we have to wait for that to be done, so often not actually swimming until 06:40 so then its not a full work out. very frustrating. So to any would be new comers be aware because you will be locked into a membership of 6 month minium. Hope this is read and can be addressed.
Negative experience: My mum went here to try and swim on a weekend (07.06.25). She went to change and stepped on a broken glass. In the changing room. Yes, the glass cut her foot and she ended up not swimming anymore because of that. My mum was told the glass broke LAST WEEK but when they cleaned up they missed a few shards. The manager just spoke to my mum, and left it at that. I’ve always tried to give AT7 chances, even when the changing rooms smelt like pee. But you guys make it hard to really appreciate this place. Be better.
Negative experience: Absolutely terrible went to go swimming after ringing up and telling us to come in at half 4 so we did with the kids to be told that can’t go as all sold out and have to book online for splash also big pool wasn’t open either!! What a waste of time and journey
Hi John-Paul,
We're disappointed to hear that your visit was not to our usual standard.
We have logged this feedback with the management team to brief all front of house staff about our booking system for the pool.
Visitors can book splash sessions in advance on our website or they can visit on the day, however we cannot guarantee a place will be available.
We hope you will be able to visit us again soon for a future splash pool session.
Kind Regards,
AT7 Team.
Negative experience: Please do not opt for membership with any lifestyle leisure centres!! If you are a toddler parent looking for access to splash pool, please be mindful that you won't get access to splash pool as part of membership. You will be charged to use splash pool for every session. Every time you need to use the swimming pool, jacuzzi or any other facility that comes along with membership, you need a band from reception that allows you to use the facility for very short periods of time. Moreover you can't get two consecutive sessions for the same activity. That means you'll waste a lot of time rather than having a leisure time. The staff decided to not let people use the water slides stating the facility is over crowded for the session I was in. Then in the next session they opened the water slides. However, they didn't allow me to use the water slides as it would count as consecutive session. I joined the membership on date 17/05/25 and cancelled on 18/05/25. The reason for cancelling my membership is the incorrect information provided by the receptionist while selling the membership!! I wanted the membership solely for the reason that my toddler can use the splash pool as and when we wish to use it. However I was misguided by not informing that the splash pool is not included in the membership. I specifically asked the staff to explain all rules regulations and policy again and again. Yet the vital informations were concealed! While buying the membership, I was informed by the staff that I would get the full refund if I opt to cancel the membership within 2 weeks. I was not informed that I would loose the £20 registration [couple membership] cost if I opt to cancel the membership. £20 is a lot of money to loose for using the facility just once! The very next day after buying the membership I asked the duty manager at AT7 to cancel my membership and refund my money back as I was not satisfied with the service. She said cancellation can't be done at the reception by the staff and instructed I'll have to submit the cancellation request online and request will be processed online by a remote staff and money will be refunded to original payment method AUTOMATICALLY!! After submitting the cancellation request online, I received the email response stating, "Please note 14 days cancellation refunds can only be completed in centre". YOU SEE EVEN THE DUTY MANAGERS ARE MISGUIDING. I'm glad I cancelled the membership, as I can clearly see the staff is not educated enough to inform customers correctly about rules, regulation and process!!
Negative experience: A very big car park yet many customers decide to park in the clearly marked BLUE BADGE HOLDERS ONLY! Also at the front DROP OFF ONLY!No consideration or they clearly can't read. What do the staff do? Zero!
Negative experience: So called the At7 Centre to ask if the slide will be on, in the kids splash pool session. They said yes. I get there and ask again will the slide be on. They said yes. Get in the pool i ask again, they said yes again. 15mins pass and ask the guy again and he just shrugs his shoulders and said he doesn’t know why but the decided not to put it. So not happy at all with the experience
Fantastic experience: Good place to play football parking is also great
Negative experience: Nobody ever answers calls Been trying and trying but no response Needs Looking at urgently
Fantastic experience: Love swimming here staff so friendly and helpful but this morning I wasn't happy with the fact they allowed a couple fully clothed with footwear sitting on the side of the pool with a baby feeding it watching their other child swimming the male was walking around in trainers around the pool area not good if this is going to be allowed I'll be leaving
Fantastic experience: Very good
Negative experience: Is it just me or has anyone else think the water in 25m pool has gone way too cold lately ?! And also it is absolutely disgusting that the staff perform cleaning duties while the sessions last ( using a bucket filled with water borrowed from splash pool ) shame.
Fantastic experience: Went to a kids party. I liked it. Had enough tables. Good big play area. Great for kids to run around . They even have a little dance room. Lovely place for kids party.
Fantastic experience: Lovely place for football
Fantastic experience: I'm looking for football pitch 7 a side after 7.30pm every Friday on the week's pls
Fantastic experience: I went with my granddaughter and great granddaughter to mother and baby swim, it was lovely
Fantastic experience: Very good place for sports lover, you can borrow a football pitch for whole day with few amount to spent. Coventry people or visitors should visit and use the services.
Fantastic experience: I have been at AT7 to book the soft play Deep sea den venue for my 8 years old birthday party. Though , I feel it will more fun for kids upto 6 yrs old. But advantage of having party at this centre is separate room and play area given as compared to other place. Your guests and kids will have personal soft play area. Nice decoration at walls so we don't need any banners, balloons etc to setup. I am looking forward for the event.
Positive experience: Looking a bit dated now, but as a kids party venue it's great. The staff are friendly and the soft play is good. For the hire price, it's well worth it!
Negative experience: Kicked out for a session I payed for but was swore and yelled abuse at by a elderly worker and when I walked out my bike was missing from the bike area
Negative experience: Very poor facilities. Changing area was dirty, very few cubicles have working locks/catches to keep door closed (A safeguarding issue for children and vulnerable adults) A number of lockers had either no door or broken locks. The hairdryer had cling film covering the broken switch and I was told it was safe to use (A health and Safety issue) It is an incident just waiting to happen. They clearly operate a poor maintenance routine. Yes I have informed them of my opinion and the relevant authorities as I believe it is a dangerous venue to visit in its present condition.
Fantastic experience: Great venue for our grandson's birthday party ! The soft play area was perfect, and the kids just had a blast in a safe environment
Negative experience: Very dirty place,in the changing rooms smell really bad from the toilets.
Negative experience: Worst place to go. Children work there and they have no idea how to treat a person that's paying for a service. it seems the things are the other way around with AT7 staff is full of themselves and customer treated like trash. I went to complaint about staff member to girl at the reception and now she says 'oh I remember you! I don't know how you rules work however , I don't know '. First of all I don't complain for you to remember me but for issues to be resolved ! Secondly who is supposed to know rules if not you ? Very unproffesional. Now they remembering me every week instead which makes me so uncomfortable. Which makes me think they doing it in purpose. They should either employ people that can treat customers like customers and have some respect or close the place
Positive experience: Not the best service from them at all! Website wasn’t clear on their swimming times or sessions so I called up yesterday and spoke to a lady who was really helpful, or so I thought. I asked when they had a parent and toddler session on and I was told they had one on Thursday (now today as I write this) and do half slots and starting at 9:30 and I could book two half hour slots to make my session an hour. She told me that I had a pound requirement for the lockers and that I could then take my little one into the soft play afterwards. Roll forward to today where I turn up at the centre request session for the sessions I was informed about and then get told they don’t have a parent and toddler session on today. I explained I rang up yesterday and I’m merely treated with a shrug of the shoulders and a you’ve been misinformed. One very unhappy parent and one very unhappy 3 year old
Negative experience: Very rude, Recption staff behave like You are nothing and spoils your day. Just happened I hope they correct the way they treat people in future
Positive experience: I would give it 5 star, the facilities are ,but the sauna isn’t hot enough, and the lifeguards let kids bomb into the pool regardless of the signs, I got jumped into and choked on water while trying to swim teens will be teens, but the lifeguard wa watching and didn’t care…apart from that the facilities are great. Certain staff members come across and rude, and just seem generally bored while at work and clearly don’t want to be there, but many others are great though .
Positive experience: Public swim times are useless for swimmers here. No rules kids all over the place.
Negative experience: Shocking customer services today. Waited an hour and half for splash to open as they cancelled the 4pm one due to staff shortage, we arrived early to ensure we got a space. So decided to get the 5pm session tickets and waited around trying to entertain 2 kids. Got changed for the 5pm session, to then be told its not opening today. Furious was an understatement! We got an apology, refund and credit note for a return visit. I've wasted several miles of fuel, time and an upset toddler to deal with! No swimming alternative as they couldn't be arsed to tell us earlier, which we could have found another place to visit. Very disappointing visit today!!!
Fantastic experience: Kids love the splash pool. But plenty of other stuff here including various classes, kids sports clubs, outdoor pitches, even tall outdoor climbing wall. Not bad for a city sports centre.
Negative experience: the swimming pool and everything was good, but the staff was making fun of us. 21:25 21 of june
Fantastic experience: Great place and great value. Helpful and knowledgable staff too especially amelia who works in reception! Shes great and always friendly and approachable. Keep up the good work amelia!
Positive experience: Good access and clean. On arrival payment on self service system. Pitches have started to wear down. They do need to refurb the pitches in the near future to avoid injuries.
Fantastic experience: Used the swimming pool with the family Reasonable price and not overly busy The amenities were good Lockers locks on changing rooms and hair dryers all working Showers are a little cold for me, but that's preference Staff friendly
Negative experience: Left swimwear there is disposed of , kids sneezing a lot after going in the pool, wouldn’t recommend slides in jammas as they rip, and pool temperature and chlorine levels inconsistent
Positive experience: I went here to play badminton. Please don’t choose court 4 as the door is just beside the court and everyone will encroach the court.
Negative experience: The worst customer care ever in this planet earth been calling for the past 1 week no one picks the call - sent multiple emails no one reply or even call back - such a pathetic customer journey - i mean i just need to book a court to play some badminton i guess thats what you guys deal with.
Positive experience: I was in the other day with my two boys and was greeted and served by a lovely young woman by the name of emma i believe. Whom answered any questions i had and made my boys feel comfortable. This went along way for our experience and so felt the need to share !
Negative experience: Usually the gate is open at 6am every friday, today 24/05/2024 is the 4th time it’s closed in the past 2 months, i wasted my time and money to get to at7 just to be disappointed yet again
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and excellent classes. I go to several classes, but Clubbercise and Aqua Dance I never miss.
Positive experience: It is pleasant, clean, safe, and good value for money for swimming.
Negative experience: Every time I’ve been there so far one of the machines will just randomly go black and kick you off it without saving your progress, you either have to to wait 5 minutes for it to reboot or just go to a different machine.
Negative experience: Wait 45 minutes for registration, and still nobody could help because of the system, and then install an app for the gym after installing an app for proof of adres, plus take a wristband with you everytime to scan the machine for workout, to many things and cherry's on the top you need minimum 6 month's contract otherwise no ,even though until sign everything she said 3 month it's fine for the first time. Waste of time and gym smells very bad and small. 0 stars.
Fantastic experience: Again a lovely family holiday now with grown up children. Still plenty to do and loved seeing all the wild life, deer, rabbits feeding the ducks, squirrels and birds from your back door. It was Easter week but around the cabin it didn't feel busy at all, very quiet and peaceful. Would have loved to have done the tree walk but at £50 each being 7 of us it's too much. Bowling was good but we had to rush through it so we could get to the end of the game before it went off which was a shame at over £40. You know when booking that extras are pricey but some things are just too much. Recommend going not in school holiday weeks it's a little! more affordable, but working in education you don't have much choice. Thank you Centre Parcs for another lot of lovely memories.
Fantastic experience: Went swimming today with my son 45 in the splashpool almost had it to ourselves safe a friendly and helpful staff only £10 for me my 3 year old and a swimming ♀️ nappy bargain highly recommended
Negative experience: Avoid having a kids swim party here!! Half the kids weren’t allowed on slide as not tall enough. Other kids left pool early as it was too cold for them. Then the function room was depressing, wouldn’t personally hold a funeral in here. Chairs were filthy, tv had no power cable and getting a knife and tap water was near impossible. Only redeeming feature was the lifeguards were helpful and rotated every 30 mins.
Positive experience: Went to the jim first time with the physio therapist it was so good to see if I could do it thank you David
Positive experience: Parking a bit hit and miss, depending on times, we were there on a Saturday so busy... Watched a volleyball tournament in the large sports hall. Big space but freezing cold, the large air vents to outside were open all day, and no heating. Apart from that, the venue had good facilities, toilets, vending machines for snacks and drinks.
Negative experience: This should be a good facility, but unfortunately it is really badly run. It is not possible to get a phone call answered, it invariably goes to message saying they are really busy, but when it goes to voicemail it says it is full ! There seems to be no online booking for badminton/basketball courts, & regular events can be cancelled with no warning. The chances of turning up & swimming are almost nil, as the pool is regularly used for school groups, or sectioned off, or women only etc. So to swim you need to turn up & queue, like last century. The showers for the Sports Hall & Gym are too hot all the time, & at certain times the yobs that play football on the all weather pitches make the changing rooms dirty, & unpleasant, & they don't even use the showers, just play music, shot, & swear. Overall AT7 has some good facilities, but it is so badly run if it was a private company it would have gone out of business years ago. It is 'run' by 'CV Life' a charity set up that runs what were council facilities, & eats up council money for this rubbish servise.
Negative experience: Just get there for soft play at 2:45pm open till 3pm I ask can we go for 15 minutes to play. Yes full charge applies 3.50 for 15 minutes play
Negative experience: Went to swimming pool, dirty toilets I can live with but when buying 2 sessions 45min each, you have to get out of water and stand 15 minutes in cold before next session starts. The pool is not being cleaned in this time so I don’t see any reason to get people sick.
Fantastic experience: Just been swimming for the 1st time here this morning. And it's lovely and clean. Nice big lockers for all your stuff. Changing rooms clean and tidy. Pool comfortable and a nice slow lane near the windows side. No rush, go at your pace. Will be coming as much as possible for a nice early morning swim.
Negative experience: They don’t answer the phone or reply to the reception email address. Not acceptable for a local council-run service.
Fantastic experience: Love this place so great swimming with the kids and staff are lovely also! Great all rounder really
Fantastic experience: We applied for a GOCV card, went to the AT7 centre to collect,a pair of pensioners turning up is everyone's nightmare...however Sereena who dealt with us was lovely, very helpful, and sorted out our cards and my inputting errors...nothing was to much trouble...she is a absolute diamond...thank you .
Positive experience: Good facilities, we went for the splash pool which is great for small children. Shame the seems to be an arbitrary height for the water slides.
Negative experience: Absolutely filthy place to swim. Litter all over the floor and on the tables in the small dinning area. Tampax left in the changing rooms ( used ) urine on the floor. I honestly would never swim here again!!
Positive experience: Not a bad sized pool ,a big que to get in on Sundays ,but goes down quickly ,could do with more showers ,but pleasant enough over all ,the staff are normally efficient enough too,and pleasant.
Positive experience: Needs a deep clean especially in the changing rooms. Staff are very friendly and happy to help.
Positive experience: Good experience with the badminton, although it takes a good chunk of your day to try and call in to book before hand
Fantastic experience: Amazing staff!! Facilities are clean and are hardly ever soaking wet. Pool is warm showers are great
Fantastic experience: I would like to know if there is group which plays badminton regularly here? I am a good player looking for a group in Coventry
Negative experience: Swimming instructor was 7 minutes late - the lesson is only half hour as it is! Then she stood around talking to member of staff. Don't watch the kids or show them what to do. Just stands around doing nothing. Absolutely awful!
Negative experience: they rarely answer the phone or follow up calls back. I registered kid with swimming lesson - zero progress and instructor just focused on one child who really should have been removed for one to ones or diff stage!! apply logic a few parents left lessons due to that
Positive experience: Excellent facilities. We went swimming but far too many balls and adults playing with water guns in the main pool. Left after ten minutes
Fantastic experience: Great experience nice family day out lovely play area, young babys and children recommended 13 and below good prices.
Negative experience: AT7 Centre is good but it lacks in some areas. It tends to have bias coaches. Tom for example is a footbal couch which shows bias behaviour. For example he has 2 kids that play and always given to their side when playing against them e.g. Taking away fouls and cancelling goals. I feel like this is unnaceptable and should have a change.
