The Leisure Club at Royal Station Hotel

Negative experience: Thankfully we only had to pay £5 each as we were staying at the hotel. We used the "heated pool", jacuzzi and steam room. The heated pool "has an issue" so isn't really heated. The jacuzzi push button is broken and apparently you have to "blow down a pipe" to get it started - honestly I didn't even ask for more information on this, half the tiles are missing from the pool and jacuzzi too. Then the steam room, I mean it's steamy, but the seats are also taped together as a "botch fix". If Basil Fawlty ran a leisure club, this would be the one!

Fantastic experience: I have been to the leisure club today and David is very friendly and helpful. He is always with smiles and always fixed the broken facilities. He is very responsible for the job.

Fantastic experience: A very cozy place especially during the weekdays. I really enjoyed the sauna and the pool — both were clean and perfect for unwinding after a workout. David greeted us at reception and was incredibly friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful experience here. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: The hotel and rooms are great but the sauna and spa need updating. The toilet in the changing rooms is unstable and there's black mold in the shower
