Fantastic experience: I only started at Revolution Studios earlier this year and I’ve already done over 140 classes. That probably says everything about how much I love it. The spin classes are consistently high energy, with great music and instructors who know how to push you without it ever feeling intimidating. It’s become a huge part of my weekly routine and has massively helped with my overall fitness and endurance. The studio is welcoming, well-run, and a great place to switch off and get a proper sweat on. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a motivating workout space.

Negative experience: Awful. This class is dancing and jumping about a reformer bed at unsafe speeds in the dark whilst music is blaring. The instructor looked far too young to have any experience in this discipline. If looking to try real reformer Pilates, this is not the class / company.

Negative experience: Instructors and staff are really sweet but what seems like an already poorly ventilated studio is then filled with a fog machine making breathing difficult. Seems like unsafe practice.

Negative experience: I took the opening membership for their studio in Paisley. I hadn't realised this would automatically renew. When a payment came out my bank to them I contacted them straight away to explain the mistake expecting they would be helpful and offer me a refund. I was very surprised to receive a very cold email saying no refund will be issued and pointing out their terms and conditions. This to me is extremely poor customer service. Had they just given me a refund I probably would have gone to some classes again and continued spending money with them. Now that I have seen what unpleasant customer service they have I will not use this business again. It's a pity, the instructors were very nice. Shame the same cannot be said about this place as a business. Will avoid from now on.

Negative experience: Due to bad weather, me and one of my friends couldn’t make the class as we live in a higher area and got stuck in the snow trying to drive to the class. Wouldn’t refund us a class credit despite the unforeseen weather circumstances. Money grabbing in its finest form and truly do not care about customer service.

That said, all bookings are made under a signed purchase agreement that clearly outlines our cancellation and attendance policy, including how late cancellations and no-shows are handled. These terms are in place not to be punitive, but to ensure fairness and consistency across all members, many of whom attend classes in all kinds of conditions or are on waiting lists for peak times.
We know that missed bookings, especially for unavoidable reasons, are disappointing, and we never take that lightly. However, to run an equitable and sustainable booking system, we do apply the same terms to everyone.

Negative experience: The girl doing it was kind of rude and dismissive- saw my friend and me struggle with the seats doing nothing. Also we were about 5 minutes late and she didn’t sign us in after on classpass incurring us a £19 missed reservation charge. Appalling.

We do our best to create a welcoming and supportive environment, but when clients arrive after the scheduled start time, it limits our ability to assist or check them in properly. In this case, both you and your friend arrived after the class had already started, which unfortunately meant you missed the sign-in window, and didn’t return to the front desk after class to correct it. As a result, ClassPass automatically marked it as a missed reservation, which we have no control over. The £19 charge is processed directly by ClassPass under their own terms, not by us.
We also understand you were struggling with bike setup. Had you arrived on time, our team would have been more than happy to help you get set up before class started. However, once a class is underway, it’s not fair to disrupt the experience for others, especially those who’ve paid for a focused and uninterrupted session.
All bookings, whether through our app or third-party platforms, are made under a signed purchase agreement which outlines these policies around timing, late arrivals, and third-party responsibilities.

Fantastic experience: I cannot rave about enough about these studios, in my opinion there is no other work out that compares to the point where I’ve sacked a private gym membership! After having my first baby in 2022 I started off at city centre spin and I got the bug for Revolution. I’m now loyal to the Airdrie Pilates studio and occasionally the spin classes. BTW the spin classes are phenomenal and defo worth the money! I’ve started back again recently after my second baby in June and it’s been a breeze. All the instructors are lovely and mindful of everyone’s limitations . My availability and Emma’s classes seem to tie in perfectly and I cannot thank her enough for her attention to detail in her classes. She is so sweet and discreetly helps with your form without making it obvious over the music and mic. She’s an everything a Pilates instructor should be.

Negative experience: Turned up very excited for the first time was running 3 mins late due to struggling to find the location. Paid £17 for a Pilate class and wasn't allowed in at the door, they refused me entry and wouldn't offer a refund. I wa booked in under a friends name and they were aware that I was parking. Total joke, no empathy considering it was my first time at the studio! The girl at the desk clearly couldn't care less about the situation and had a horrible attitude. Very inconsiderate and clearly only care about taking the money off you. The organisation clearly profits from people having everyday setbacks and personal issues resulting in being late or unable to attend. 100% will never be taking a class after such a horrible first impression. I would honestly use stronger words to describe how bad the customer service was but will keep it professional. I’m actually so gutted that this was the case when I went as I know I would’ve loved the class and continued going. Such a horrible way to treat a customer who’s paying such a high amount for a fitness class. Definitely the way to go about making sure no one goes back. Stay away!

We’re truly sorry to hear that your first visit to Revolution wasn’t what you hoped for. We completely understand how disappointing it is to miss a class you were excited for, especially on your first time with us.
As outlined in the booking confirmation email, all first-time clients are required to arrive at least 10 minutes before class for a brief induction. This is a strict health and safety requirement and also part of our insurance obligations. Unfortunately, if you arrive after the class start time, we’re unable to admit you, especially on a first visit, for safety reasons and because we cannot delay the class once it has started.
We also have to consider the experience of all other paying clients in the room. Instructors cannot interrupt a session once it’s begun to accommodate latecomers, as it would compromise the flow and fairness of the class for everyone who arrived on time.
All bookings are made under a signed purchase agreement that outlines these terms, including our lateness and refund policy, and this applies whether the booking was made under your name or someone else’s.
We’re sorry if the interaction on the day came across as unsupportive, that’s not the standard we aim for, and we’ll review this internally. That said, we do stand behind the policy, which exists to protect both safety and the quality of experience for all clients.

Negative experience: Reformer Pilates class was sadly not worth the £17. The instructor focused entirely on changing the strobe lights and didn’t check anyones form was correct. This fast pace works for spin but really doesn’t work for Pilates. Additionally, the environment didn’t feel at all supportive. Some poor girls gave up halfway through and were completely ignored, without being provided alternative exercises. Not surprised to hear after booking that this is its usual reputation.

This format is clearly described in our class descriptions and promotional materials, as we want clients to know exactly what to expect before booking. It’s a contemporary approach, different from traditional Pilates, and it’s what draws many of our clients to us in the first place.

Negative experience: One of my WORST experiences with a fitness class ever. I made the big mistake of buying a 10-class pass without first trying it. The music during the class was way too high, to the point that I had to wear headphones. I have asked more than once if it was possible to lower it and the answer was always negative. I have even been told that I should have read the regulation when buying the passes. I feel it is a very unhealthy environment, poorly run. It was as loud as a disco club. I still have one pass left but I will not use it - I prefer to lose it than negatively affect my hearing and mental sanity. Very disappointed.

That said, we take client safety seriously. Our volume levels are regularly tested to ensure they remain within safe, industry, accepted ranges, even if they feel intense at times due to the nature of the workout.
We also offer single-class options and smaller class packs specifically for first-time clients to try the experience before committing to a larger package. Our 10-class pack offers a discounted price per session as a value option for those who already know our format suits them. With that discounted rate comes a reduced level of flexibility, it’s not possible to access lower pricing and then request a refund because the style wasn’t the right fit.

Negative experience: It is so disappointing that the studio is very convenient with great instructors as the customer service is appalling. I had 2 encounters that is beyond disappointing. I started to go to pilates with my best friend that wore a headscarf. Before the class we asked if there was any guys in the class and was affirmed that there was none. So my friend felt safe to take her headscarf off. Later on we saw that a video has been put up on their Instagram without any of our consent. We politely asked for it to be taken down and it took a whole week and multiple requests until it did. This event turned my friend away from the studio for good and I thought the response from the studio was very insensitive. Recently I signed up for spin at the same studio instead, we showed up to class late on this one occasion as we got the time wrong. We apologized for our mistake and was hoping to be signed in. Not only was the receptionist unhelpful but was rude to us as well. This genuine mistake cost us £5, we tried contacting their customer service and as we all know no numbers just an email and as unhelpful as a bot can be. This just shows how the company cares more about the money than their customers After our unlimited membership end this month we will no longer be attending and will warn everyone we know how disappointed we are with the studio.

Fantastic experience: Love the Pilates classes. Great instructors who are friendly and helpful, and classes are tailored to all abilities.
Negative experience: My experience with Revolution Spin was incredibly disappointing. I attended one of their classes and was immediately subjected to music at unsafe decibel levels that left my ears ringing. After enduring this for just 10 minutes, I had to leave the class for the sake of my hearing and overall well-being. When I emailed head office to address the issue and request a refund or an opportunity to use my pass on another day with earplugs, they flatly refused stating their website mentioned the music was loud. It was disappointing that they chose to prioritise their bottom line over customer satisfaction and safety.
Negative experience: Awful. Purchased a pack as a present however the classes never shown up in the app. I have then asked if they could look into it and they have now told me they have "expired" although theyve never appeared in the app? How can a pack of spin classes "Expire"? Absolutely mental.
Negative experience: I tried this place a few times, but they use theatre fog which is really REALLY bad for your respiratory system in the long run. What is the point of exercising if you're just poisoning your lungs? The rooms aren't that big or well-ventilated either. The fog literally does nothing to contribute to the experience - the lights, instructors and group working was great. Multiple studies have shown just how bad the theatre fog is. It's like vaping - possibly even worse.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely LOVE the Pilates classes! Especially Ashley’s! Her classes are the BEST with her having the most supportive & encouraging energy that makes you push yourself to do your very best! She is extremely approachable and makes you feel motivated throughout the whole class! Each class is so different and she ensures your whole body gets a full work out! I love attending her classes as they have by far been the best!!!

Fantastic experience: Been coming for a while, absolutely love it. All the instructors are great. Especially like Gail and Julia’s classes.
Fantastic experience: Brilliantly intense workouts with super enthusiastic and skilled instructors. Big beats and flashing lights help you to forget you’re exercising. The whole team couldn’t be more friendly or helpful, they work so hard to make their classes accessible and never intimidating while providing top tier coaching. It’s addictive and it’s sweaty, I couldn’t recommend it more.
Fantastic experience: Come here regularly for the reformer Pilates classes and absolutely love it. All of the instructors are great, really friendly and each class is different. Particularly love Caitlin, Lisa and Julia’s classes. The girl who works at the check in desk is also lovely and super welcoming. Would recommend these classes to anyone. They are hard work but rewarding and can really see the difference after coming to classes regularly. Thank you Revolution team.

Fantastic experience: The experience is incredible from start to finish. The music pumps you up and creates a motivating atmosphere. The instructors are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and keep the energy levels high throughout the class. It's undoubtedly the best place in town for spin workouts, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and challenging exercise session.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Revolution Spin since December at both their pilates and spin classes. The studio is so friendly and all instructors are motivating and very helpful before and after classes. I have been recommending the classes to many friends and family.

Positive experience: The spin class I attended was full of woman. So if you're a male that's easily intimated then I'd avoid Revolution Spin. The changing rooms had a hairdryer and straightners. Which made me panic a bit as I felt this was exclusively for woman.

Negative experience: Disappointed. They just want your money and don't care about anything else. Stay away! I had an emergency and tried to contact them to move booking. For starters no phone number. Wrote an email and asked to move but they just mentioned the 12hrs cancellation policy.

We are sorry to hear that you had an emergency and couldn’t attend your class. When you made your booking you agreed to our terms and cancellation, which are that if you cancel under 12 hours notice then you will forfeit the credit. We strive to be fair and consistent in our business, to promote fairness all customers must be treated the same. We cannot make exceptions for some and not others.
Our classes are very popular and we hope to meet the demand of all who wish to attend. It is for this reason we have our cancellation policy in place otherwise there would be empty spaces at the classes when others could have attended. We hope this helps you understand and that we see you return in the future.

Negative experience: Horrible company owned by some chavs. They only care about taking your money and aren’t interested in caring about their customers. They don’t offer any refunds or give credits back to customers who have been out of the country and aren’t able to use them. I most certainly would not use their studio again. Also, I barely leave reviews, so take my word for it when I say this company is the worst and don’t waste time giving them your money.

Negative experience: Bad communication. I had to cancel my membership and they replied to me 2 days after Wanting to charge me why I didn’t give 2 days notice. I had to speak with lawyer and I blocked them
Negative experience: Decided to sign up to a class with a friend as a first try out but had to cancel 2 days before as plans had changed. Surprise - there is no refund, you only get a credit that is valid for 3 months to rebook into another class but NONE of this was ever made clear anywhere on their website, emails or your account in relation to the bookings. There's no phone number to contact anyone either - just some generic email, which speaks volume about their level of customer service. What a wonderful first impression.
Fantastic experience: Great venture into the world of spin. Hard going but you don't get berated for being rather unhealthy. Staff were rather friendly and extremely helpful. 10/10 would spin again.
