Fantastic experience: Very good atmosphere. Staff were nice, very clean site. Stunning caravan, great location. Only downside, if you want to use the pool only allowed to be in there for 30minutes. Definitely recommend

Positive experience: Booked a caravan with hot tub at this park via hoseasons, was informed the park was placed into administration and after reading reviews was apprehensive for our stay. A few weeks before we travelled we was informedthe pool would be closed, however was swiftly refunded for the loss of this facility. We arrived and was in plot 31 Skomer 3, which was tucked away in its own little area which was secluded and peaceful. The park itself is very quite but well maintained. The caravan was welcoming and tidy and well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and all the bits you could need for a self catering holiday. Therecould but a little more focus on the level of cleaning as we found dust and cobwebs on the lightshades and the top of the cooker hood had not been cleaned for a while but nothing that was detrimental for our stay. My only major negative as the mattress in the main bedroom, it needs replacing urgently, it was so uncomfortable and has clearly seen better days with springs digging in every night also the waste pipe for the shower was not connected so the water just landed on the concrete below and flower down to the stones. I did report this on the 2nd day and was told it would be looked at, but nobody attended and it was not fixed when we left. Hot tub was maintained every morning, the park is out the way with not much onsite which suited us but everything you need was 10/20 mins away. No WiFi on site either. All in all a great family week away in a beautiful part of Wales. Would booked again all being well the park is still in operation.

Negative experience: A nice tidy site very quiet, friendly staff, was disappointed that the pool was closed but had been emailed before to let us know, the gym was also unavailable and no WiFi

Fantastic experience: After reading some previous previous we were a bit dubious about our stay at Croft Holiday park , but we needn’t have worried we had a first class stay there Staff were brilliant and we had a lovely chilled week , our son & daughter joined us for the bank holiday weekend & they also were really happy with the site, we even had entertainment on the Saturday evening so we all managed to get up and have a boogy

Fantastic experience: Well set out park lovely pool and great food in restaurant

Negative experience: Booked here for 7 days in a 6berth with hot tub. The hot tub was supposed to be cleaned and checked everyday. There was bits in there from the first day we arrived. So we couldn't use it. The decking was dirty. Had a meal at Charlie's bar and service was very poor. They were talking about job interviews and it felt like we were an inconvenience for them as it was only us and another family in there. The bar was only open 9-5. And closed on Wednesday. The next day we spoke to staff and we was informed the site was going into administration. If we had known this we wouldn't have booked here. Save your money and book somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Just wow. Really nice lodges, amazing value for money, really nice location and as long as you can drive, a really convenient home base for a holiday in South Wales. Staff are lovely and welcoming. Facilities are superb and very well maintained. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: Stayed for a week on site out of season so it was very quiet & peaceful. Staff are very friendly & attentive in the check in process explaining everything well. We never used the restaurant, gym or pool so can't comment however our lodge was excellent and had a great time to wind down. The roads surrounding the park are narrow one track lanes so be careful navigating these however it was a good escape!

Fantastic experience: We stayed in Ramsey 2, 2/10,/24, absolutely spotless caravan, very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Pool lovely . Downside, the decking around the caravan needs re treating, it’s very dangerous when wet. Charlie’s bar, lovely, but in low season it closes early, so me and my partner walked up around 7pm for a drink on his 60th but it was shut, they did say this tbf. Location wise, tbh, as long as ur happy driving to everything, no problem, but there’s nothing around it. But peace and quiet, wonderful. This place has some bad reviews as far as staff and accommodation go, totally not true, both were wonderful

Negative experience: Worst holiday park I’ve ever been to The holiday was horrible the staff were the rudest people I’ve ever met they targeted us because we stuck up for our selfs we had a massive argument with them and they sent 2 of there groundskeepers to kick us of the site with a 5 year and no where to go The caravan was dirty stay clear of this place you will regret staying there read the other reviews on trip advisor it says the same from other people The staff run it no manager anywhere to be seen

Fantastic experience: Lovely site, child friendly, and close to local towns and beaches.

Sarah Moses 1 year ago

Positive experience: Nothing really to do on site the caravan was that unsteady it rocked as soon as someone moved. Also no wifi on site unless you sit in the bar that has a hygiene rating of 1. We have visited Pembrokeshire numerous times and came again as we love the area. Trying to book a swimming pool slot ( allowed a 30 mins each day ) I was hung up on twice it took me that long I walked down to do it instead. . The reason I mentioned wifi was because it was advertised for the whole site and people wanting to stream films in the evenings would not be able to do this. The bedding ( every set) had yellow stains all over them. The site while it is lovely is catered for families with younger children.

Croft Holiday Park

Hi Sarah, the site is as advertised, maybe it wasn't the relaxing countryside environment within beautiful Pembrokeshire that you were looking for. Guests enjoy the gorgeous indoor swimming pool, outdoor dining area and childrens play area and restaurant. This is as advertised. We don't have childrens clubs, arcades or the like, as we love guests to explore and relax in our beautiful county, one of the UK's leading National Parks, famed for it's coastal environment, heritage and attractions. As outlined Pembrokeshire is a rural county and we do advertise that we cannot guarantee wifi connectivity on Park, and that if this is important to the enjoyment of your holiday, alternatively arrangements (such as own data use) would need to be made. As you note, good free wifi is available in the main restaurant building, where you can grab a coffee and enjoy some me time.
Our restaurant, has now quite rightly been regraded as 5 star.

Karen 1 year ago

Positive experience: Very clean quiet site, comfy caravan, hot tubs, nice restaurant, the swimming pool & gym are very small but nice, need to book your half hour slot at main reception,,small childrens play area by outdoor beer garden, launderette here, but no shops near by, no dog walking areas so need a car to get to these places. Good base for days out Tenby, Folly farm, Wiseman bridge,, Saunders foot beach, Carw castle etc etc

Positive experience: Very quiet park. Only a restaurant and bar. Special entertainment events on certain occasions. Small but nice hydro pool. Small outside sitting area with small children's park/play area. Dogs allowed in the conservatory by reception. Would recommend if wanted a quiet break

Fantastic experience: Lovely holiday park. Beautifully maintained, restaurant/park/pool on site. The swimming pool was warm so you couldn't easily stay there for your whole session. Perfect for families/couples who want a holiday.

Ross Powles 2 years ago

Negative experience: After arriving at 2.55pm with a restless baby and dog, we were told to wait in an empty reception for 5 minutes as check-in strictly wasn't allowed until 3pm, so we sat in reception while the member of staff on reception sat at her desk silently for 5 minutes. Straight away this felt very unwelcoming and was a sign of things to come. When we were allowed to check in we were given the wrong caravan, we specifically booked the Ramsey 2 as we didn't need 3 bedrooms and preferred the larger living area and large windows at the front of the Ramsey 2, however we were put in a tired looking Caldey 3 with 3 bedrooms but a smaller living/kitchen space. I went back to reception to explain and the member of staff on reception was extremely rude, sarcastic and unhelpful. She repeatedly lied and said that we were in the caravan we booked even though we weren't and was told that she couldn't move us to alternative accommodation anyway as they were full and to contact Hoseasons if we had an issue. I spent our first afternoon on the phone to Hoseasons customer service and a member of Croft Country Park's management trying to resolve the situation but they were unwilling to help. There was no welcome pack in our caravan as advertised as the member of management at the park said we don't get a welcome pack as we were staying in a lower grade caravan even though they had been made aware that we were unhappy about being put in the wrong caravan by this point. The hot tub wasn't private as advertised either, it was right next to a footpath and we were starred at by passers by as we tried to relax in it. The park is also not "dog friendly" as advertised, they tolerate them at best. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and must be walked and exercised outside of the park. I've never known a caravan park to have so many rules, it made the park feel very unwelcoming and uptight. The swimming pool is much smaller than shown on the website and is overlooked by reception. We didn't feel comfortable using the pool as we felt awkward going anywhere near reception after the awful experience we had with the staff and the fact that if we wanted to book swimming we would have had to book at reception. All in all it was the worst caravan park we've ever stayed at, the staff are rude, nothing is as advertised and it's so remote with absolutely nothing within walking distance. Avoid at all costs and I definitely wouldn't recommend taking children or dogs there.

James Howard 2 years ago

Positive experience: On first glance, a lovely well presented holiday park and static caravan. Reception were lovely and made checking in easy. There were a few issues with the caravan when looking in more detail - both bathrooms had rusty radiators in them, the rust in a pattern from spray from the toilet (hopefully from flushing but could have been urine spray ), a cracked wash basin and for all the good cleaning standards, the blinds were very dusty. Smaller gripes were we couldn't work out where the main bins were (wasn't in the welcome pack, but in all fairness we didn't ask) and the location isn't the best depending on what you want, with no shop on site.

Fantastic experience: We stayed for a 3 day long weekend and it was lovely and peaceful. The site is well kept and quiet with friendly neighbours. The caravans are very well presented and they even give you goodies like dog treats, wine and crisps! The hot tub was lovely and a very enjoyable way to spend our evening. The only issue we found is the dishwasher in caravan 004 is broken, as it is not heating the water meaning dishes come out dirty and soaking wet still. I only mention this so it can be looked into for the next guests and as a warning for anyone else who stays in this caravan. Overall it was brilliant and we would happily return.

Croft Holiday Park

Thank you for such a lovely review. In regard to the dishwasher we not that this wasn't reported during your stay. We would have happily fixed this within an hour window had we realised. Thank you thought for raising it, we much appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: Had the best time here stayed for a week 18th -25th November staff were always friendly and welcoming will definitely return in the future now to get to get to the good points park setting is good restaurant and bar area are really good prices are pretty reasonable swimming pool is good but due to covid you only get 30 mins bad points it has no laundrette on site lighting at the park isn't great and you have to walk on the road and no lighting at the back of the caravan and if you have more than one couple staying at the accommodation you only get one set of keys but holidaying here is really relaxing and well worth a visit

Myrddin 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and peaceful place. Even though it was a small site, it had a bar and restaurant on site including a salt water pool and a small gym. The Margaret Pod which i stayed at was well equipped with all amenities and hot tub. Good location if for visiting places i.e. Tenby is about 20 minutes away, Saundersfoot is 15 minutes away.

Croft Holiday Park

Thank you so much for your great review. It's a beautiful pod isn't it.

Negative experience: Absolutely fantastic and clean lodge stockolm lodge , presented with wine and hot hot tub , however went to charlies restaurant and what a disgrace , steak tasted burnt on the outside meant to be rare, egg way over and hard , kids chicken not very nice. Childs first holiday and really dissapointed with the food, staff not apologetic and just said il tell the chef , nnot a good experience

Fantastic experience: Lush Food And A Lovely Pool And Park And Nice Staff!

Debbie Roberts 3 years ago

Positive experience: Just spent four days at Croft Holiday Park and can only say positive things about our experience. We stayed in St. Margaret's Pod, Plot 49, which was spotlessly clean and modern. There was a welcome pack of goodies on arrival, which was a nice touch, and the hot tub was ready to go. The hot tub was checked daily throughout our stay, which was nice to know. The park is in a quiet rural location with a swimming pool, gym, restaurant and playground. So if club houses, nightly entertainment and bingo are your thing, then this park is not for you. Even though its in a rural location, it is only 15 minutes for Saundersfoot, Tenby and Narberth. We went to the Dinosaur Park, which was excellent and Folly Farm and Heatherton Park are just minutes away. Staff on the park were polite and always willing to help with information and advise. The indoor swimming pool is small so individual sessions are timed, which suited us. The playground is adequate but looked a little tired and perhaps could be up-graded. We went to Charlie's restaurant on our last night there and wasn't disappointed. The young lad serving (Ioan I think), went out of his way to please our sometimes fussy five year old grand-daughter. I would highly recommend this holiday park to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday near to the countryside and coast and look forward to going back in the future.

Croft Holiday Park

Thank you for a fabulous review, it really does mean much to our staff. We are working on the play area over the winter period, so do hope that you will come and revisit. Thank you again

Positive experience: Had a fabulous lodge with hot tub that was very private. Park itself was very quiet. Had to book to use small pool that was also open to the public.

Christine Shelmerdine 3 years ago

Positive experience: No shop to buy essentials. Had to travel few milea away to find a Coop that was pretty well stocked with a good parking facility. The swimming pool closes at 4 o clock. This site is very well kept. and is basically an ideal site to use as a base to explore this part of Wales. The staff are quite friendly and there is a bar but this closes at 9pm although if people are still in the bar they will stay open until 11pm. The caravan that we stayed in was lovely with a hot tub that was hidden from general view and was quite private to us.I would recommend this site for perhaps a slightly older clientele as there is little for older children to do. The beaches fairly close by are lovely you need a car to reach them and parking is a problem in the most popular towns

Croft Holiday Park

Thank you so much for your review. We really appreciate your comments. We decided many years ago to forego a shop on site which we previously had to encourage our guests to support local small businesses in the surrounding area of Narberth, which is a superb shopping town about a 5 minute drive away and well worth exploring. Our swimming pool has pre booked 30 minute sessions which work well on site and we receive positive feedback on this, the last booking sessions being 4 until 4.30. Thank you again for taking the time to feedback to us.

Fantastic experience: Our first visit and we enjoyed our stay. The mobile homes are palatial with plenty of space between them, ample room for parking and I tried a hot tub. Very nice and very popular. Playground fir the younger children with an indoor pool to cater for any poor weather. A new experience set in lovely countryside.

Croft Holiday Park

Thank you so much for a fabulous review. Look forward to welcoming you back to Celtic Holiday Parks.

Positive experience: The site was okay, staff were great sorting issues although a little dark so would recommend going here if in a decent caravan Stayed in number 4 caravan, was tidy however did have some issues such as a used toilet brush, extremely stained seats and the toilet leaking water. Reception was told and swiftly solved all issues however they should not of happened in the first place. The site is extremely dark at night to the point you may feel unsafe. Single beds are extremely small so I personally had to sleep on the sofa. One light had no cover and another fell off the roof and hit another person on the head whilst alseep. Our stay was okay and definitely believe our caravan to be near to replacement however it was dog friendly which is good. No issue with the staff just the caravan itself

Fantastic experience: 1st time we visited and we wasn't disappointed in fact we enjoyed our short stay that we booked for a return next year for a Ionger amount of time, as this time around it just wasn't long enough. Our lodge was lovely and clean on arrival and the staff was super friendly and didn't mind being bombarded with about twenty questions. Lots to see and do locally so won't be disappointed. The bar and restaurant onsite served a nice selection of food and a variety of drinks to try. Thankyou all and see you next year

Fantastic experience: Stayed here recently for a weekend. Lovely park but the mobile phone signal is awful. Free WiFi available but it isn't great.

Robin Evans 4 years ago

Negative experience: We booked the Stockholm Lodge which is their premium 3 bed full size lodge with hot tub and “views”. (No views due to hedge growth!) Arrival was easy and we were in the lodge within a few minutes. The pictures of the lodge were taken a few years ago, the overall condition was tatty at best. Wallpaper peeling off the lounge walls, extremely stained carpet and general wear and tear that hasn’t been dealt with. Cleanliness was poor with hoards of dead flys behind beds and furniture that hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Issues like only one out of 4 lights working in the bathroom were annoying. All of this we could live with, however their was a major issue that ruined our stay. In the evening in particular there was a smell of raw sewage and the chemicals that are used to process it directly around the decking. It was horrendous, so much so we couldn’t sit on the deck, use the BBQ or sit in the hot tub. It was vile. This also meant we had to have the patio doors closed at all times. We complained to reception on the second day (Sunday) and was told there was nothing that could be done. At 9am Monday morning again we complained but we’re told it was probably something under the lodge and there was nothing that could be done! At no point during the following 5 days did anyone get touch and help. On departure we were given the number for “guest relations”! We live in a rural location and have a cesspit so know how they work. Directly next to the lodge is the lowest point of the park and the location of the cesspit, as such we were being directly exposed to some kind of leak. I can’t describe how disgusting this was. Since the park was not interested I have contacted the local Environmental Health Officer and made a complaint. In summary the park has a great location, excellent restaurant but the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Avoid No 83!

Amanda Hough 4 years ago

Fantastic experience: The only thing I could say that's slightly disappointing is that I think the pool and the gym should be open longer than 17.00 as it is a rush to get back if you have been out for the day.

Positive experience: Upon arrival at our caravan we was greeted with a beautiful bottle of white wine, crisps, Welsh cakes, milk and all the essentials for making tea/coffee. Brilliant caravans, modern, clean, spacious. I would say though this isn't a site for young children. Although they do have a pool there isn't much to do on the site. We had a hot tub that was checked every morning. I absolutely would come back here when my kids are older. But a 3-6 year old just got bored really quickly without a kids club.

elaine starkey 6 years ago

Negative experience: This is the worst caravan and site that i have ever stayed in with over 30 years of regular caravan holidays. The caravan was not at all like the photos of the caravan we booked. It was more basic, smaller ,lacking many advertised features, old and worn. The mattresses were impossible to sleep on being extremely thin and all the springs digging in. We all came home very tired and in pain. When we raised the matter with the staff after the first night they offered no help, were rude and sarcastic. I would strongly recommend against staying here.

Ann Gourlay 6 years ago

Positive experience: I didn't stay here, my sister did and we visited her caravan. It was extremely tidy, clean and very up to date. My sister loved the pool too. Only thing is, she said the restaurant looked expensive. Also, we noticed that the lane up to the caravan was very uneven and had pot holes, however, the area on the site was surrounded by lovely grass and very tidy. It was beautiful.

Kieran Muir 6 years ago

Negative experience: Toilet and shower block was not nice at all. They have spent all their money on the pool and restraint. And as little as possible on the touring pitch area

David Hanly 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: Small site, in a great location with the most friendly helpful staff

john stingemore 6 years ago

Positive experience: this is a very nice and quite place to come and stay for touring with a moterhome or caravan but there is a few things that have to be sorted out. first the shower block has only two showers and two toilet cubicles for each female and Male visitors. The washing up facilities have no constant hot water or if its provided it's soon down to a trickle. The positive side to this site is the club house the gym and swimming pool and restaurant is very good.

Fantastic experience: Great park, tidy and not too crowded. Facilities are good, the lodges are fantastic (I'd happily live in one!) and the staff are friendly and attentive. There's a swimming pool, bar with a pool table, little park for the kids and an admittedly very small arcade. The pictures are of the lodge or different towns/villages within a 15 minute drive of the park. Narbeth is a short walk from the park with plenty of shops and pubs to stock up on necessities.

Negative experience: Very disappointing park. Large pot holes into the touring area. Facilities are poor, small indoor pool. Toilets for tourers were inadequate and dirty...laundry washers needed old £1 coins. Wi fi is free because it doesn't work. Only one saving grace the food was very good at Charlie's bar. Also waited 15 mins for someone to turn up at reception. We will never go back...

adrian perry 7 years ago

Negative experience: I expected alot more for what I paid per night. Toilet block is a run down portacabin and if more than two people need to use it good luck to you. Play area only suitable for toddlers. Staff at reception were helpful.

geraint k 7 years ago

Positive experience: Rubbish wifi. Lovely pool. Temp Toilets not very nice.only 2 toilets and 2 showers which are open, so make sure you know the person next to you or it could be embarrasing! Disabled shower in main block so have to drive from touring site, not exactly handy, needs exra seat as you cant sit on a wet seat to dry, and hooks for clothing, towels, etc. Campsite is clean and well kept, staff very friendly. Situated in a good spot and plenty to see. Amroth beach is a must.
