Surge Fitness Hammersmith - EMS Training

Negative experience: I been a costumer for years, staff is friendly a part of a grumpy guy that is behaving like I did him something wrong. I decided to leave few months ago after multiple problems. Session ruined from broken equipments, wires, suits. No one ever responding from the costumer’s service team. And the have constantly problems with their system that it will KEEP charging you ,by mistakes once ,they took almost 1600£ from my account , and they refunded after few days when I complained ( I wasn’t even a member anymore a the time ) ,they aren’t clear with their terms and conditions so read the small prints. It wasn’t the first time and it as not been last as I just finished a 52 weeks contract , when it end I checked my statements with Amex and I found out that they took 59 payments instead of 52, I straight away request for those 7 weeks payment back and I got an email from them saying , no refund here we are 7 extra sessions for you, I don’t want them I’m not going to use them. So if u want to join this gym do it with the risk that they will probably overcharge you and you will hardly get your money refunded.

Negative experience: Avoid this place . I enrolled for a 3 months courses , paid in a raw and of course they carried on my membership while I’ve never ask for a renewal. After an agreement to stop the renewal in May I had the bad surprise to be charge 3 times £49 in July … still waiting for a refund . In total I paid an extra 6x £49 while only 3 months already paid upfront was agreed. Do not go with this branch!!

Negative experience: Still waiting on a refund for a block of sessions. This was finally agreed after much stress and hassle but still no money. Getting in contact is a nightmare as others have said

Positive experience: Workouts do help! So I would definitely recommend. But clothing they provide and and the bodysuits smell like sweat horribly most of the times. Also they really call back even when you leave a message. I was trying to reach them since 10th July and finally spoke with someone on the phone yesterday (24th July). Just to hear that they don’t know how to use the system and the manager is on holiday :/

Fantastic experience: The solution to busy people who want effective workout. Also, EMS helps massively in rehab workout if you got an injury, which I do in both knees. UPDATE: Over 2 years with Surge and still going. Love the place and the team.

Fantastic experience: Everything was perfect since the first minute We entered the gym!!! The first trainer told us immediately to have a seat, reassures us that our session was still available and that another trainer was almost ready to take care of us! Than came Alice, our trainer, she is absolutely lovely, professional, she asked us immediately if we needed more infos about Ets, she explained us the most important things and then she just told us to enjoy this new experience !!! She was present during all the session, gave us mental motivation, support us, encourage us!!! Thanks a lot Alice !!! ETS is an amazing training, in only 15 minutes you have the results of an hour gym session, of course thanks to the trainer that are always aware on how increase or decrease the ETS power! Thanks again !!! Have a wonderful day!!!

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym. Had a trial with James who was nothing short of awesome. Great trainer with perfect, comfortable facilities. Literally just rock up with no gear, everything is provided even deodorant after your shower. I use to use EMS in Indonesia & I was reminded how good it is. Surge even had socks which grip the floor which I've never used before but love them. Looking forward to the aches and pains over the next few days.

Fantastic experience: really nice people and nice and clean place. the training is truely effective. I prefer to do my trainings with Jason who is amazing! He is professional and train me considering all my injuries. I normally do only bad reviews but these people and what they do is too good to be neglected. I had an issue with my previous package, as I was ill and was travelling and their head office sorted it for me. They didn't really have to but they were very nice.

Fantastic experience: I just had the most amazing session at Surge fitness. I wasn’t sure what it was all about but I had a fantastic trainer Holly who made me feel so comfortable and explained it all to me. I will definitely be back again!

Fantastic experience: I had heard a lot about EMS and was curious to try it out. Surge was highly recommended by a friend so I finally gave it a shot. Workout: I was surprised how difficult it becomes, providing a very high intensity workout in just 30min or less. Supposedly once a week is sufficient to build muscle. Given a busy lifestyle, this is more than perfect. Also, have showers and provide towels etc. The studio: very clean with a slick design, staff is very friendly and helpful. Caveat: be prepared for some muscle pain in the days following the workout. Again, this shows how effective this can be. Try it out. They offer free first sessions. If anything, a great experience!

Negative experience: They are not able to wait you just for 4 minutes, even knowing that you are coming from St Albans. Basically you book an slot of 30 min the lesson last for 20 min and if I'm 4 min late can't I do the session? I think that this is unacceptable even more if you consider the price for each session.

Fantastic experience: Best place to do rehabilitation. The trainers are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I was already well trained and on a regular (quite intensive) excersise routine, then I went to Surge to try it out as they offer a free trial. Well well, let’s just say the day after I discovered I had muscles in my body I didn’t know I had . One piece of advice don’t get cocky even if you are well trained and you are in in great shape start slow, Surge will give you a session you will feel in every single muscle you have in you body.
