Fantastic experience: Joined for 3 months whilst I was waiting to move out - i was given a a tour, joined and trained on the same day and wasn’t scary at all - since then I have also had no issues, good equipment never had problem of waiting to get on anything, clean and really friendly staff and people, even let me have free day when I miscalculated my membership time - if I hadn’t of now moved out of mirfield I would happily rejoin thanks guys

Fantastic experience: After trying out several gyms can honestly say Roy’s is the best. Plenty of equipment all the staff are so friendly and helpful even other gym users in there go out of there way to help you…. There’s a beauty salon inside barbers and sunbeds… it’s the kind of place you can walk in and out and there’s no judgment and that’s hard to find would highly recommend for anyone thinking of joining a gym this place has really helped me with my anxiety

Fantastic experience: if I lived closer this would be my daily gym . with work etc I cant justify driving over an hour to train but on days off etc well worth the extra miles .

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic gym. Such a lovely happy atmosphere. I was quite nervous joining a gym again as I had put on so much weight through lockdown. A stone lighter and I’m feeling fantastic!!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly place. We visited the trampoline park upstairs. Well worth the £5 for my 11 year old to get in. Not overcrowded. Great atmosphere.

Negative experience: Skyfall Trampolining Run by incompetent people. Rang at 10 to check availability to be told come anytime it's open to the public with no parties all day. Arrived at 2 pm to be told it was closed for a private party and all the girl on the desk did was shrug and blame someone else. Absolute joke

Fantastic experience: Top gym not massive. But as everything you need. Staff are super friendly, and you can use spa. They also do one on one training

Negative experience: Don't trust the high rating of the gym on Facebook. They keep only positive reviews. I am very unhappy with the way the gym treated me and my son making me to pay them a lot money for the services I am not getting.

Positive experience: Great little local gym. Trampoline park above and also has a sauna. Kids sessions on a Sunday run by Kev a personal trainer where parents can join in

Positive experience: Memberships from 22 pounds per month so not in the same league as the big hitters such as dw etc but good for general fitness and weights not overly busy so no waiting for machines staff friendly equipment could do with updating but you get what you pay for

Fantastic experience: Our daughter enjoyed a fantastic party in Skyfall, the trampolining park above this gym. Friendly, helpful staff, good value for money and a clean environment which made superb use of the space. I would recommend this place without hesitation to anyone looking to organise a trampolining party.

Negative experience: Staff can be pretty unwelcoming apart from Roy and another guy Elliot. The place lacks any airflow so is usually baking hot and the machine offering is not great - one machine for glutes is marked 'ladies only' so you can kind of guess the rest from that. There are also no free bars for deads and squatting, only 1 3D Smith Machine. If you're looking for somewhere laid back to do some cardio and moderate lifting/weights alone then it's worth a look - very popular with older people looking to keep fit and younger people starting out/casually which is surprising considering its owner's history of weight lifting championships although there are a couple of serious guys in every now and then. There are classes but after 12 months of membership I was never once told about them or offered any information so not sure, these might be privately run.
