Fantastic experience: Great bouldering walls!

Fantastic experience: Had a great session at clip and climb today with my girls and friends as a half term treat. Check in experience and safety briefing all went smoothly, despite arriving a little late. Extra shout out to Adam who went above and beyond to help the girls enjoy the leap of faith! Everyone had a really enjoyable time and burnt of some excess energy. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely first experience at clip and climb with my 4 year old daughter. We both climbed and had a great time. The staff were very friendly and Adam had great knowledge and encouraged us throughout. The space was clean and easy to park at and we will definitely be going again. Bouldering walls look great too!

Fantastic experience: Kids have good fun :) The staff was amazing, my wife twisted her ankle and a couple of guys from the staff were tremendously helpful.

Positive experience: Staff were good but briefing started after 1200 for the 1200 session. It was past 12.15 before any climbing was done. The climbers were called down at 12.15.

Fantastic experience: Booked for my 9 year old's birthday party. Centre and staff were excellent and the kids had a brilliant time. Well organised and made it really easy for us!

Fantastic experience: It was so nice because of the variety of climbs and the leaf if faith is really good.

Negative experience: Wouldn't even give this place a 1 star. You pay for 1 hour climbing and only get 45 minutes, after having a 15 minute harness fitting and safety briefing. My daughter had problems with her harness digging in to her breast bone which I brought to a staff members attention, to get a reply " I can't do nothing about that " funny though as I've visited other clip n climbs and has never been a problem. I wouldn't waste your time or money visiting this place.

Fantastic experience: We held a kids’ birthday party here and I was impressed with the comms from staff, the help on the day and the overall setup. It was a super easy party which everyone loved. It’s not cheap, but there are lots of staff around so you get what you pay for. Thank you for hosting us.

Negative experience: Having visited the Western Clip n climb I took my children to the Bristol one today. Very disappointed. Didn't enjoy that much. They seemed to cram all the kids in. Lots of waiting for to climb up certain ones. At one point it was a struggle to find one free. Staff not very attentive either. Won't be returning and wouldn't recommend either.

Fantastic experience: My twins had an amazing party and loved every minute. I like that it’s low waste and the children can take their food home in the paper bag provided if they wish. Staff really friendly and helpful too

Fantastic experience: Thanks for organising such a wonderful birthday party. Totally hassle free. All we had to do was turn up and enjoy the party. Attention to detail for ECO packaging, good food for kids and decoration with birthday girl name at the venue was well planned and beyond our expectation. All kids enjoyed the climb session and sure to have inspired them to take up this skill in future.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and her friend had a lovely joint 8th birthday party here on Saturday. They enjoyed all the different climbing walls and the party packed lunches went down a treat. Friendly staff and lots of fun!

Fantastic experience: Took 2 kids (4 & 6) for the first time today to clip&climb. They absolutely loved it. Brilliant set-up, lots of options for climbing. Coach (Mish) overseeing and helping out throughout was amazing, gently encouraging and giving kids advice. Made a huge diff to the kids pushing themselves. Highly recommended, albeit a bit expensive. Will be going back. Many thanks

Fantastic experience: Absolutely lush, the best climbing centre in bristol. The location is easily accessible and they have wheelchair ramps so my disabled partner can watch and record me climb easily from the various viewing areas. The staff and owners are super friendly & helpful. Clip n Climb is overall a much better experience than any other climbing centres I’ve been to.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are absolutely superb - we took out daughters and their friend here today and every single member of the instructing staff were brilliant - it’s a fantastic place for kids to enjoy an hour of climbing and the team really go out of their way to help them to make the most of their time. The chap with the curly hair and moustache (sorry I didn’t catch your name) who led the briefing was an absolute legend - I can’t rate this place highly enough - a great place for children of all ages

Fantastic experience: Tried out the adult clip n climb on the adult session on a Friday night and had a great time! The leap of faith was good fun and each wall can range in difficulty depending on which challenge you want to take on. Staff were brilliant too, helpful and friendly. Thank you! :)

Fantastic experience: Our kids love coming here, aged 6 & 9. Worth the trip from Bath. Staff consistently attentive and helpful. Nice cafe on site to enjoy a coffee afterwards. Tip - head into St Werburghs (you’re only ten mins’ walk away from where you parked) for Italian food at Cafe Napolita.

Fantastic experience: We had a brilliant time at this climbing wall, and our daughter, who has just turned four, thought it was the best thing ever. Instructors were super friendly and professional, the gear and walls were in great condition. Climbs were being cleaned regularly which was reassuring so for safety and Covid arrangements, I was impressed. We’ve been to Bloc before as adult climbers with a private instructor which I’d also highly recommend, but this took it to a whole new level because we could make it a family thing using Clip ‘n’ Climb. Cafe has genuinely good coffee and millionaires shortbread too. We’ll be back!

Birthday girl super happy. Can't thank the team enough. You guys are awesome and a fab time had by all.

Fantastic experience: We hosted our sons 7th birthday here on Saturday and it was a huge success! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful but above all, the kids had an absolute blast! They’re still taking about it days later! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something a bit different but still loads of fun.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to the team today, we had our Son’s birthday party here and they loved it. Also want to say thank you for sorting a problem (entirely caused by us) with compassion and without any additional stress. The kids were able to enjoy the climbs and were assisted when needed. Everyone was super friendly and positive. The party food was great and the kids hardly left anything. Thank you again!

Negative experience: I hate to make this review because i love the other clipnclimb locations (especially the one at exeter!) but this is simply put a scam. 15 pounds each for some pillars with knobs on them is too much. The location us huge but you are only allowed on a tiny bit of area to climb. Please go somewhere else with your child. The leap of faith is almost always close and half the pictures are of different locations. The clippers are janky and they have about 40 children trying to go on a tiny amount of climbs. Please avoid.

Positive experience: Me and my partner turned up to try rope climbing, not realising this was an event for children. We both felt a little uncomfortable being the only adults amongst a group of 7-11 year olds. We were first asked where our children were but then swiftly assured the activity was for all ages... I asked if my ticket could be used as voucher for a class or event more suited to my experience and age but was refused. All I wanted to do was climb, Instead they took my money and I got nothing out of it. Poor customer service and experience.

Positive experience: Great facilities and our son loved it here. Major flaw though, their website is unencrypted so don't make bookings using it otherwise anyone could just take you bank details, completely stupid in this day and age! Update: Ok so the payment information is secure by the looks of it, but the booking information is not (so names and DOBs) as you enter that on the unsecure site, still doesn't sound great to me.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic small climbing centre. There are a range of automated climbing walls for climbers to pick from. Short briefing after fitting of harnesses. Get about 45mins climbing. Also onsite is a coffee shop with a few cakes etc. Next door is the free climbing wall. Plenty of free car parking around the back through the coffee roasting car park. Need to pre-book.

Positive experience: Great fun for adults and children alike. Really good set up and whilst 45 minutes may not seem like alot, your arms will thank you for stopping then.

Negative experience: My husband booked this for us to spend an afternoon doing something fun together after a stressful time. We turned up to a room full of small children which is obviously who the activity is aimed at. Upon speaking to a member of staff and explaining that we didn't feel comfortable we were told that it wasn't aimed at children and that we couldn't cancel with less than 24 hours notice and there was no alternative offered as the bouldering is only for those with sufficient experience. I'm sure it's fine for adults to do as a family activity with small children. We left and won't be returning. Reply received below doesn't acknowledge the issue and your staff onsite did not do anything either to try and resolve the issue.

Positive experience: Some inflexibility marring a good experience for the kids. My wife accidentally booked me into clip and climb with my children instead of bouldering. They would not let me transfer when we arrived and realised the mistake. Took a few emails to sort out but all done now.

Fantastic experience: Visited here recently for the first time with a 7 and 11 year old. Both had a great time. Staff were incredible throughout the venue - super friendly - attentive and clearly doing everything they could to keep everything covid safe for everyone. We all had a really nice afternoon and would definitely recommend this to anyone - will also add a shout out for the member of staff in this pic that was really encouraging and helped my more nervous climber to gain confidence and eventually get off the ground! 5 stars! Keep it up guys and we will be back soon!

Fantastic experience: Just been to my son's friend's birthday party here, sort of. I took off as soon the mum said it would be ok to do so! Managed to get quite a lot of errands done. But from what I could tell later after collecting a very excited 5 yo boy, they had a whale of a time. So next holiday may try this place out.....

Fantastic experience: Awsesome place

Positive experience: Just had daughter's birthday party here, kids loved it, thoroughly entertained for the whole time. 2hr slot works perfectly, 30 min briefing/kitting up at start, good hour climbing, then 30 mins for food. Food area is very separate/clean - food good quality and liked the fact that most packaging was easily recycled. Lots of space/good atmosphere and good cafe for a cuppa. Only tip would be to give yourself extra time ahead of your slot, to park as you can't guarantee an easy space.

Fantastic experience: We bought vouchers for the entire family for a Christmas get together - ages ranging from 4 to 64! We had an amazing time, everybody loved it and went away tired and happy. Thank you to Dave Barford for his amazing customer service. He was really helpful and patient.

Fantastic experience: I have been climbing here for a few months enjoying all of the bouldering walls and have taken the kids to the clip and climb as well. We have just had my daughters birthday party there which was a huge success with all of the kids and adults having a brilliant time. Everyone that works at Bloc Climbing is amazing, super friendly and cool! Thanks for making it a brilliant day and for being so good with all of the kids. See you all again soon

Fantastic experience: I just hade my daughter's 6th birthday party. we had 16 children and absolutely all are happy and they had lots of fun. Am so pleased we choose this place, we definitely come here again.

Negative experience: Clip n Climb websites led me to incorrectly booking Bristol instead of Weston for two children. Absolutely no help from Bristol despite contacting them on the day when I found I needed to pay a second time at Weston. At least Weston allowed us to pay and climb unlike the unhelpful attitude from Bristol who clearly don't care about potential customers. They say they're separate businesses, but they look surprisingly similar and just try finding a director etc. rather than a muppet manager. Great time for kids, shame about the customer care bit.

Fantastic experience: Great climbing centre, especially for bouldering and groups with kids. Accessible, friendly staff and a nice cafe to boot. Walls are varied and well marked. Free car parking to the front & rear.

Positive experience: Good fun but be warned you are not allowed to wear climbing shoes on clip and climb although the Web site does not specify this! Apparently it was more acceptable for me to climb in knee high leather boots that climbing shoes......

Positive experience: Great time for kids. The only advise is the staff in the area to pay more attention to what is going on rather than chatting to each other. Kids try to attract staff's attention for too long sometimes.

Negative experience: Called them to make a booking. Very noisy line and the guy sounded confused. First he said they had availability. Then he said he was looking at the wrong day and that they actually didn't have availability. Haven't been inside but if the service is as on the phone, not good.

Fantastic experience: Great for the kids. Totally safe and a range of climbs from easy to hard. Looks very Lego/Minecraftish and colourful. Instruction is given at the start and full body harness for the smaller children with waist harnesses for anyone bigger. Coffee shop as well and a chance to watch the 'real' climbers on the main walls.

Fantastic experience: Just came home from my sons friends Birthday party and it was an amazing party. The staff are absolutely Brilliant.

Fantastic experience: We've been to clip and climb a few times with our 2 little ones, the eldest (5 years old) is big enough to do it and has a great time going up and down on the clip n' climb while our your one (3 years old) plays on the bouldering rocks. It's great as a parent because it is safe, well managed and designed for kids. For parents who are looking on there is a great coffee bar (and snacks) and excellent bouldering if you are into it. A really good experience each time we've gone - worth the trip!

Fantastic experience: We visited the new Clip 'n' Climb set up about 8 weeks ago, and with in 30 minutes my 6 year old son went "we I would really like my party to be here" The whole party experience was brilliant, loved by the kids, (boys and girls alike), they were fully engaged 100% of the time and staff were great. The party area was really nicely set up and the food was great value. All the staff were super helpful from booking the party through to the end of the party. Whether you want a fun activity that parents and kids can do together or have a birthday party to host, I could not recommend clip 'n' climb highly enough

Fantastic experience: Clip and climb Bristol I took my Beaver Scout (197th Bristol 1st Stapleton beavers ) and 3 bigger kids (young leaders ) for the Christmas treat To Clip and Climb this evening they all had a really good time they didn't want to go home . Which is a very good sign James and the instructors made us feel very welcome and were very good with the beavers and very helpful . We even invested one of our beavers up on one of the climbing walls Fantastic time had by all and I know they all want to come back again
