Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym for about a year now and it’s the best I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to a few other gyms in the area like Bannatyne’s, Pure Gym, and Sun Lane gym in Wakefield, plus Your Space in Pontefract, and Bodyworks beats them all by a huge margin. It’s family run, and Mark, Lorraine and Jason are some of the nicest and friendliest people you could meet. I wasn’t after a PT when I joined Bodyworks as I didn’t like the approach of the PTs I had spoken to before (insistence on taking before and after photos, weighing yourself, calorie counting etc), but after chatting with Mark the first time I went by myself I realised he has a very different approach that really works for me. He also has an incredible wealth of knowledge about training, and is always happy to share it. The atmosphere in the gym is great, I never feel self conscious because everybody that trains there seems more focussed on their own workout than on watching and judging other people. If I move out of the area I know I’ll struggle to find another gym like Bodyworks.

Fantastic experience: Genuinely a brilliant gym. Clean and well maintained putting plenty of big chains to shame. Plenty of available equipment that is well maintained with new equipment or enhancements regularly added (plenty of cable accessories and clips!)

First time in a gym where you can get everything you need no need to shop on line honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough thanks for the warm welcome

Fantastic experience: Evolution at it's best ! I first tried Bodyworks in 2018 and thought it was the scariest place on earth, Tried again in 2020 and couldn't believe the change. Since Mark took over, the gym has gone through a massive make over and it looks amazing, really welcoming and great atmosphere, it's always scary for females to enter a gym but Mark and Jay really make you feel like you belong. With the new female only changing room and fresher facilities, the gym feels brand new. Mark is a great personal trainer and can figure out how to make your workouts give you what you want, and his advice and knowledge on lifestyle and eating is unlimited. Ask Jay to get you some supplements or specific protein and he does ! Love the pre and post workout shakes, always offering new brands and flavours, great brands of supplements are always available. From a price point I don't think there is a cheaper gym in the area and considering the level of equipment which is always being upgraded to suit whatever level you are at, I can't recommend the place enough!!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym Fabulous range of equipment I joined Bodyworks at the beginning of September following my 2nd total knee replacement and started PT sessions with Mark for rehabilitation and to improve my overall strength and mobility. I would recommend Mark’s Personal Training sessions, Mark totally understands his client base and works with them to achieve their goals and realise their potential

Fantastic experience: Body works in hands down one of the best gyms you will go to any shape or size you are welcome!!. The atmosphere is great and the people who go there are always willing to give a helping hand. Not once have I seen any judgement towards anyone just a great friendly place to be. There are people of all shapes, sizes, strengths and weaknesses all going to achieve one goal of bettering them selves and mark and the team help everyone to 100% of their ability. Mark PTs me and his knowledge of the body far surpasses anything any other PT have trained with knows. Keep it up guys!

Fantastic experience: Best gym ever!! Frankie is quite the best trainer you will ever find. I am 80 and am fitter than when I was in my 40s. Thank god I have her as my personal trainer. Get fit, lose weight, get nutritional advice, have the best massage - you can do it all here AND enjoy yourself! We are truly blessed with this gym. AND the equipment is amazing.

Fantastic experience: A great atmosphere in a ‘proper gym’ with great owners and equipment. Started going to bodyworks 7 years ago and used to travel 60 miles on a weekly basis to get there. Now I live closer I try and get to the gym as often as I can. Made some real good friends in the gym who have pushed me and supported me in my training. The owners are very serious about training and very serious about results. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Have trained a body works for years, had to stop a while back as moved into Leeds which meant it was just too far to travel each day! Always a very friendly environment to train and good atmosphere and Shane the owner has helped with anything I needed to know about training while being there! Highly recommend!
