Together We offers a range of interventions for mental health and physical health, all of which place the person at the centre of our work. Four connected services combine well to provide care and a whole person approach to mental health and physical wellbeing: Carry – Providing wellbeing support for expecting and new families Talk – One to one and small group talking therapies. Fitness – One to one and small group exercise sessions with a focus of improving mental and physical wellbeing. Recovery- The recovery college delivers course throughout Cumbria which intend to support a person’s recovery from mental health difficulties through learning and education.

Fantastic experience: This was a therapeutic session for people with Mental Health problems. This was a one to one session suitably spaced and protected in a large ventilated gym. The gym has a wide range of machines that work a variety of muscles. Excellent service.

Fantastic experience: I did the exam stress workshops that were available in our school and I found them really useful. I am now able to realise when I am stressed and can calm myself down, and make time for stress and unhelpful thoughts

Negative experience: Ladies who were managing this gym said all the right things and soon forgot what it was... A lot of details about the free trial and the sign up costs were missed out until I had to dig for the information. Set a time for an induction, turned up and the staff member there had no knowledge of it, time is precious with a baby at home! It's okay but if you really want a full body cardio/weighted workout, this isn't it.

Hi Rebecca, I'm really sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your experience. We dont intentionally mislead anybody regarding the cost of the gym, prices are advertised on our website (which is normally £32 for direct debit members, we have no sign up fee and occasionally provide promotions) we provide everyone with a free trial to ensure they enjoy the facilities before becoming members. In regard to your induction we are very sorry this happened, we have invested in a new epos and appointment booking system to ensure this does not happen again. We feel and try to provide classes to cater to every age and condition, the circuit isn't for everyone so we have tried to provide a good choice of group fitness classes.
