Negative experience: I have visited the salon a few times this year, and at my most recent appointment I left with noticeably orange streaks at the front of my hair and very warm, uneven patches throughout the rest. When Sophie first spotted the orange at the front, she asked, “Would that stress you out?”-a comment I found quite concerning, as it is not something you expect to hear from a hairdresser. Although they attempted to lighten the orange areas, the patches were still clearly visible. I was offered an appointment the following weekend for them to correct the issues, but by that point I had lost confidence in their ability. During my very first visit earlier this year, the staff were repeatedly locking the door as customers entered and left, which struck me as unusual. In addition, the front shutter had not been raised properly, and as some people exited, they walked into it-myself included. This resulted in a visible dent on my forehead that lasted for several months. Despite this, I chose to give the salon another chance. I have now moved to a fully qualified hairdresser who was able to repair the damage. As she assessed my hair, she pointed out not only the orange streaks, but also how uneven the highlights were-particularly underneath. The highlights were thick and poorly blended, and the haircut itself was uneven, with most of my split ends left untouched. It ultimately took around six hours for my new hairdresser to correct the condition my hair had been left in.

If any issues had been raised prior I would have immediately booked you with myself. Negative experience: Been a regular at this salon for 5 years never missed an appointment or cancelled at short notice , but had several appointments cancelled by the hairdresser even ended up not getting my hair coloured and cut before I went on holiday last summer because Leanne cancelled my appointment short notice ( the second one in a row ). I needed to cancel an appointment that I had made on a Saturday afternoon not long before the salon shut for the Monday morning so they wouldn’t of had chance to fill it anyway as there is no online booking available. I made sure I messaged the page before the salon opened on Monday morning so I could give them as much notice as possible and I got charged £90 ! . I called the salon and asked to speak to Leanne (the salon owner )but was told very abruptly that Leanne was busy and would call me tomorrow! I explained it would only take a minute to call me as I was going on holiday tomorrow and would be unable to answer the phone . Leanne never bothered to call me ! absolutely shocked and upset to be treated like this after being such a loyal customer.
Hi I’m sorry you are unhappy about the late cancellation charge. You was charged as per our booking terms and conditions that you agreed too when booking.
Looking back on the system I can see that you had an appointment cancelled over 16 months ago as leeanne was in hospital with her child and you were
then given a discounted future appointment.
We take most of our bookings on a Saturday evening and Sunday for the following week as these are our admin
days and when
Bookings are done through our social media outlets and admin team.
On the day in question when you called the salon leeanne was in aesthetic clinic and During this time she is not able to leave the client even for a minute. The rest of the day was as busy and we tried to contact you the following day to explain our policy again but it was unable to connect.
I’m sorry you feel disappointed with the salon and hope you find a salon that better suits your needs.

Fantastic experience: You deserves a 5 stars not a one. It was the phone error and i deeply apologise for that. Their service was perfect , There was an error in my comment before. I went there with my child,and she was disturbing, the staffs very were patience and kind with her,they toileted her gave a drink,even went to the mile of getting her a paper and pen to write. I will recommend their services to everyone anytime.

As I recall you made a last minute appointment with our newly qualified nail technician, brought your child despite our no children policy and we still agreed to service you. During the appointment your child was running around the salon, kept knocking the nail desk, you let her go to the toilet despite having a nappy on which was left on our bathroom floor full
of feces that staff had to clean up. Your child then ran out of the salon and near the road which staff had to run after to stop her having an accident.

Negative experience: I had not been to this hairdressers before and I am sorry to say will never go there again. The young girl who cut my hair was more interested in what her colleagues were saying than taking care of my hair. It was the worst cut that I have ever had and so I had to go somewhere else for them to sort it out.

She’s still developing her skills and client interaction but here at bliss we all work as a team and interact together but client comfort is always our main priority. I’m sorry that you didn’t enjoy the experience you had at the salon as all of our clients usually comment on how they love that our salon is like this and makes everyone feel like part of the family. Negative experience: My daughter went in for her prom hair trial they had no change in the shop so charged her £30 instead of £25, walked over the road and her hair looked a mess the women did redo it which looked awful on her arrival home, one upsat little girl, even all the other shop workers near by said it was disgusting.the way she was treated and are keeping well clear of the place!

Having looked at the cctv from this day. Your daughter gave the staff the £5 as a tip after she came back in with her sister who asked for the curls to be done tighter.
The staff advised your daughter of this at the initial part of the appointment but was told that she wanted a lose curl which again. Was advised due to the weight of her hair wouldn’t last. The stylist recurled and both of your daughters loved it when leaving the salon.
Fantastic experience: Had a lovely experience in the salon staff are so nice and understanding very welcoming always making me feel special making sure I have a drink and listening to my wants and needs as I suffer from anxiety one of my appointments the owner actually was there to hold my hand as I was having a panic attack she was amazing, the brow and nail tech was so understanding talked me through everything making me feel comfortable, daisy (the dog) is lovely and friendly loves snuggles and is a great addition to the salon.
Fantastic experience: Simone has done an amazing job on my daughters hair!! Light blonde balayage blended in well from previous caramels (sorry I'm no hairdresser) and Toner, but she absolutely loves it!! Very happy Lady! Which believe me is not for the faint hearted she truly is difficult to please! Colour from simone and blow dry from Donna ❤️ Thankyou once again :)

Negative experience: This is not a professional salon! I was in town for a wedding a few weeks back and booked an appointment for a blow dry and style. I was in there for a 1 hour and 15mins and literally walked out with hair 10 times worse than when walked in, the lady doing my hair was lovely but clearly had no experience and was not a trained hairdresser. I had to redo it myself.

The staff member you had is qualified and undergoing additional training. Had you let us know you were unhappy another member of staff would have been able to take over.

Fantastic experience: Come here at least once a week for my hair, nails and massages/facials. I love coming here, all the staff are so friendly and the cute doggy that’s sometimes in is an added bonus and so well behaved. Really would recommend to anyone!

Negative experience: Had my nails done at the salon, during my visit I witnessed one of the hairdressers do a patch test on a client without firstly washing her hands after she was just eating with her fingers. The salon owner then arrived with her puppy which is in a crate behind the nail desk, my nail tech had to keep stopping my service so the owner could get to the dog which was whining. The dog was let out to roam the salon which included sitting under the nail desk while I was having a pedicure. Staff also touch the dog then clients without washing their hands. The salon door is also locked while the dog is running about. I wasn’t a walk in client the nail tech messaged me to rearrange my original appointment.

The girl doing the patch test is on voluntary placement at the salon so I will be sure to reiterate our standards with her to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
The nail tech only stopped for me to get the puppy out of her crate as she was hiding and injuring herself. I am sorry that this was of annoyance to you. She did go under the nail desk once and i immediately removed her. If you’d prefer your gel toes done at the pedicure bar in a quieter area it is best to book in advance and not attend as a walk in in future , However please be aware we are a dog salon and if you are not a doggy person i would recommend you booking on a day when she’s not in. This is usually alternate Thursdays and Saturday .

Negative experience: Had highlights done without a test patch and came out with sores and burns on my ears and neck. I was told by the manager Leeanne I did not need a test patch and the injuries I had were not caused by her staff who are self employed?? This occurred in Feb 2020 and I have not had my hair dyed since until I had a test patch done last week which caused me to have an allergic reaction burn. II will not name the member of staff surfice to say it is not not Julie Ann Ria or Kesleigh. Totally unhappy that I have been lied to I was asking for a refund and medical expenses abroad whilst I needed hospital treatment for my burns
