Fantastic experience: Doctor Anna, Nalini & Jutika all the Physio team are excellent. I had a recommendation to them from the Lyceum Theatre from 1 of the Actors and performers as Anna can treat dancing injuries and has experience in Hypermobility Syndromes. It has taken me several years to get diagnosed in 1 day by Anna with Chondromalacia Patella in my knee. MRI Scan was clear. Blood Tests clear. I have since then quit running but I do other sports to manage symptoms. I am glad I have been recovering well and I am looking forward to maintain this. I am very greatful this helped me understand my injury! :-)

Fantastic experience: I have visited this clinic 4 times (fortnightly) following a ruptured ACL, torn MCL and meniscus injury from a rugby incident in September 2024. I had reconstructive surgery in February 2025 and started attending and following the limited NHS physio appointments and guidance. With the NHS, it was initially a good 1:1 service, but I was moved into a group session after a few weeks and the service quickly become dysfunctional. Sessions were only available between 09:00 - 12:30 and I wasn’t feeling the benefit or same level of care which I was previously receiving. This led me to believe that a road back to sport was a very long way away. The NHS said that I would likely not play again until at least a year after surgery. I was recommended to go to Sheffield Physiotherapy by a teammate, where I was introduced to Akshita, and the level of care and expertise I have received is second to none. Akshita always takes her time to ensure I understand exercises and the benefits they are having to my recovery. We’ve gone through multiple recovery treatments such as massage, activation of the muscles and cupping therapy. In addition to this, she has given me the confidence and belief that I can go back to playing rugby again. I feel so much stronger and feel that I am on the right path in my recovery. I’m grateful that I have been introduced to this clinic, Akshita’s care, expertise and knowledge are brilliant.

Fantastic experience: I visited for one hour massage session of back and legs. The staff was very welcoming and they asked me to sign information sheet first. They also asked me for my any particular requirements and preferences before the massage start. My therapist was Kiera, who was very well trained and professional. She make sure to explain me the process before it begins and gave me time to settle. She skilfully gave me massage and took her time to patiently address each area. Overall the experience was very relaxing and I felt energised. Will definitely go back again.

Positive experience: Really lovely people. I got my mum and dad a group on for an hours sports massage each and they allowed them in the same room and they both came away from it feeling so much better. The only negative thing was the masseuse opened the window half way through and my mum got a bit chilly. East parking at decathlon across the road.

Fantastic experience: I have been having a lot of back problems lately, and so decided to book in for a deep tissue massage today and cupping. Nalini was so attentive to all of my body. I felt very comfortable, she listened to my problem areas, and I feel great after this treatment. The pain has literally subsided. I will be coming back once a month atleast. Great service. Fantastic experience: I’d highly recommend this physio. They provided me with highly effective treatment for a sports injury, particularly Miss Jessica who I went to regarding a running injury two weeks ahead of a race. Miss Jessica was absolutely fantastic and provided effective treatment and clear advice for me to manage the injury in the short term, which allowed me to participate in the race, and treat and resolve the injury in the long term.

Fantastic experience: This service is absolutely excellent, I have had quite severe pain and mobility issues in my hands, legs and back due to strain and overwork to the point I was concerned I may even need surgery in my left hand. Currently I am making a steady but nonetheless dramatic recovery thanks to the treatment and support I have received from Akshata at this service. The issues I was having with my legs and back have practically now fully recovered and my hands are greatly improved and are continuing to improve by the week. Akshata is an extremely conscientious and professional physiotherapist and I am extremely grateful for the support I have received. I highly highly recommend this service.

Negative experience: This is a scam! The massage therapist wears blue plastic gloves - spreads oil across your body and then advises you that the job is done! Complete waste of money and time

Fantastic experience: I injured my back driving up to Sheffield on Thursday for the National Masters Swimming Championships. There was no way I could have been able to get on the blocks to swim, so I had to drop out of my races on Friday and Saturday. Fortunately I reached out to Physiotherapy Sheffield & Sports Injuries Clinic and had 2 x 1 hour sessions with Ms Asmita and Miss Ria. Both were truly exceptional and by Sunday I was absolutely pain free and able to swim the 50m backstroke where I won a bronze medal. I am truly appreciative of the expert diagnosis, care and attention I was given by Physiotherapy Sheffield & Sports Injuries Clinic and pretty astounded by the results. I thought I was out for at least 6 weeks not 48 hours. Outstanding services and highly recommended.

I received some fantastic advice and exercises to continue at home, everything was explained to me really well. I also had some massage and cupping which seemed to really help with the swelling and discomfort. Highly recommend them, the whole team was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! I got a 50 minute sports/therapeutic massage and they were kind enough to include cupping (something I'd never tried before) for no extra fee. I have back pain from work and bad anxiety causing tension all over so the massage really helped. The atmosphere was really comfortable and the entire experience was great. Fantastic experience: I've had limited mobility in my shoulder for 9 years after surgery. All previous physios have said I will not be able to get my full mobility back. After 7 sessions with Pranali over the course of ~2months my shoulder is the strongest and most flexibile it has been since my operation. Miss Pranali loves what she does and took great care to tailor exercises and stretches for me.

Fantastic experience: I've had a shoulder injury from tennis for around 3 years and have barely played in the last year or two. On Thursday, I played for an hour and was in significant pain that night. I made an appointment for Friday and felt like a new person. I cannot believe I had been in so much pain the day before and was worried I'd have to give up tennis permanently. I really cannot believe the difference one session of physio (and follow up exercises) has made. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: I had a great sports massage here at physiotherapy Sheffield. I suffer from fibromyalgia and joint hypermobility. I had a consultation with Miss Vaishnavi who clearly loves helping people and relieving their pain. She genuinely cared about me and wanted to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. My session started with a 5-10 minute consultation with her about my areas I wanted to focus on and what the best course of action to take would be. She then proceeded with the massage, ensuring that the pressure was comfortable for me and we had a lovely conversation. She also did a cupping massage to target blood flow to my muscles. I left the place feeling relaxed and calm, with much less pain in my body than before. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Miss Vaishnavi!

Fantastic experience: I went to Physiotherapy Sheffield for a left ITBand muscles and Achilles tendonitis injury. As soon as I entered the Clinic building I was greeted warmly & professionally by the admin team. She ensured that all my details were accurate and she was very positive in her attitude. Following another Tennis injury to the Left knee, I went to see Anila at Physio Sheffield & Sports Injuries Clinic. She gave a very friendly & professional service, and focused on both the strengthening and treatment of my knee to gradually get it back to 'normal'. The prices are excellent-especially the students ones. After 6-7 sessions my knee is now nearly back to full strength and near to its full range of movements. Cannot recommend more highly. I’m now able to run and play Tennis competitively pain free. Anila did teach me how to use K tape and what exercises to do as Rehab before and after my Tennis Training.

Negative experience: You get treated with baggy blue gloves, which is weird and feels awful. And the owner replies with amusingly defensive comments here. So, please... can you explain the blue gloves thing? It's really strange.

Very professional and friendly staff, mum always leaves the session relaxed and satisfied. It helped her a a lot with her neck and back pain hence why she keeps using the services. Fantastic experience: Fitted me in at very short notice (Same day) for treatment on a really uncomfortable hamstring issue, being attended to by Ola who was thorough in her examination, assessment and ensuing treatment. Feel much better now and able to progress. The range of stretches shown were excellent and have been put to good use. Will be returning again in the future.

Fantastic experience: Fitted me in at short notice when I had some severe upper back muscle pain come on. Got a very effective massage in clean, professional setting and some good suggestions for stretches to help prevent the pain coming back. Appreciated the suggested cupping treatment at the end too, first time trying it and it was an interesting sensation.

Positive experience: Hi, We went for an 1 hour couple sports massage yesterday. The massage was very enjoyable and I had several knots in my back which feel much looser today. The cupping was a first time experience that I enjoyed. However, the atmosphere left something to be desired. The lights were very bright in the room and we were asked to take off our top layer (t-shirt and bra) in front of the two ladies which were going to be doing the massages. I've had massages before and usually I'm left to take off my clothes and lie down with a towel over my bottom half. This wasn't an option and I felt as though I just had to go with it even though I felt uncomfortable (as a female, showing your top half to strangers..not ideal). The bright lights made this even less atmospheric. Just a warning for anyone who might feel uncomfortable in this situation.

Fantastic experience: When I realised I needed some better insight into my injury situation I was easily able to book a next day appointment and the instructions for finding the location were clear. The session started a little late, which had me a little concerned initially, but the session itself was very relaxed and my issue was quickly identified. The massage around the offending area (my knee) was very good and the advice given to get me back to running has been very effective. I was also given some cupping therapy along with the massage. My knee was quite swollen and bruised for around 24 hours after the massge, but this is nothing to be concerned about as this indicates a healing response, and it seemed like the physio was having to work quite hard to release the offending ligament in my knee, so I am grateful she took the time to do her best with it. I had my session just before Christmas and I am posting now because I can safely say the advice I was given is working. I can be out for over an hour again and I'm feeling much stronger.

Negative experience: Worst massage Iv ever had. Might be half decent at sports therapy but we booked a relaxing massage and they were only interested in what injury we had and just wanted to do cupping. Left me with bruised lower ribs and the same tension in my back I arrived with Rubbish

After a day being sore the discomfort i usually feel is quite a bit less. The service here is great and the staff are professional, I'd really recommend their services if you're looking for sports massage especially if you experience daily discomfort from muscle tightness like myself

Anila was recommended by a top EDS consultant in London and she has made such a difference to my pain levels. She is also a fantastic lady and I enjoy going to physio. Negative experience: Didn't enjoy my experience the room wasn't relaxing, the girl kept on talking to me all the time and stopping whilst she spoke to me. She was repeatedly cracking her kneck whilst she was supposed to be doing my massage. She did this cupping which I didn't ask for and left me laying down whilst I think she was checking her phone. I got it off Groupon anyway, but would never return. The place is not great either.

Fantastic experience: I went for a sports massage for my bad back and it was quite simply the best I have ever had. It was deep tissue and painful sometimes, but never too much pain. My back has felt much better since and I have a chronic back injury. I had the cupping too, which seems a bit medieval to me, but it was ok however I'm not sure if it or the very deep tissue massage worked more effectively. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Make sure you get them to confirm the booking on the day! After purchasing physio treatment from groupon I was looking forward to getting my back looked at. I messaged the number supplied and was asked if 8am the following day was ok? I agreed despite the early start as I live a 40 minute drive out of the city. You can understand my frustration when I arrive to discover there is no one there. I try the number several times only to hear it dial through. I log onto groupon and realise the massage clinic has already refunded me! If you can’t wake up for early sessions don’t pencil them in guys and next time, please let the customer know when you’ve cancelled on them. Nothing like an hour and 20 min drive into Sheffield at 8am

Fantastic experience: It received amazing treatment. Anila knows her stuff and is passionate about the job. I was given a voucher for a present and now back for more.

Negative experience: I was bought a session here as a gift and was really looking forward to getting some relief for my sore back. I left feeling really disappointed and frustrated. At the start of the session I was informed Anila had a wrist injury so she had a student to assist her but she assured me she could still treat. After 5 minutes of treatment from Anila she left the room leaving the student to continue. She never came back to check on me or observe that the student was doing it correctly, not even at the end of the session. The treatment was poor, I did not get any relief or benefit from it. I asked the student for more pressure in my neck and shoulders as otherwise it does not do anything but don't think she really took much notice. I laid for an hour feeling like I was wasting my time while she dragged cups (with terrible suction, I could not feel it and I have had this many times normally there is quite a bit of suction/pressure and it leaves mild bruising the next day- no marks after this one though) and massaged so gently I did not now she was there. Had I been warned prior that Anila would not be doing the whole hour of treatment I would have cancelled. The venue is also not very nice and its not very clear where you are meant to go, I was hanging around downstairs in the salon for a while working out where to go as they have no reception. I feel it was a total waste of my time and the £80 paid for the session. EDIT: My voucher , which I still have a copy off clearly states £80!

Fantastic experience: Having had a back injury I visited for Physiotherapy last Tuesday.The treatment seems to have helped and the exercises recommended are now helping my injury. Friendly staff and a good price.

Positive experience: First time visit today, was a little daunted due to the shared entrance with the hair salon! Eventually pointed to the stairs at the rear of the salon by one of the hairdressers and sat outside the gents toilets as instructed in a text appointment reminder! I arrived 10 minutes early as the text also informed me that I would need to complete a form. I was collected at 2.10pm my appointment was for 2pm! All in all not a good start! BUT once in the treatment room was treated extremely professionally and had a thorough discussion of my back/neck issues and also asked if I minded a uni student being present, which I didn't. Received a sports massage and cupping which was amazing, all discomfort gone and even given advice on exercise. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again.

Negative experience: After 30 text messages and three cancelled appointments I have given up trying to book the Groupon offer. They seem very disorganised.
