Fantastic experience: I’ve tried pure gym a number of times but I could never seem to have a productive training session as it was so busy, Hero fitness is a nice private 24 hour gym, with a very professional focused environment. The staff and members are all friendly and accommodating, they have all the equipment you need to get a quality session in. They also have clean showering and changing facilities which is great when you want to get a session in before work. I would highly recommend giving Hero Fitness a try.

Fantastic experience: This small, no frills gym in the center of Stockport has a good variety of weights and machines. We go early (5.30am or so) and can find we have the place to ourselves. Generally when other people are in there is little waiting for machines. The PTs are knowledgeable and friendly. Generally the place is clean and tidy. Possible downsides? Very few lockers (we arrive ready to workout & go home to shower & change. The toilets are sometimes temperamental. The room is a basement so very little natural light.

Fantastic experience: I approached Shaun off the back of some disgusting comments re access. I'm a wheelchair user but I wanted to prove his gym is accessible (if you tackle the stairs) once down the stairs the whole gym was disability friendly. Shaun and Lee are absolutely lovely guys and have so much passion for what they do! Yes I can do stairs (in my own way) but they also have another site that doesn't have stairs. Don't let disability hold you back. These two will look after you!

Negative experience: Good evening No the £25 is set for a 24 hour gym at that time tho you will probably be the only one in the gym. get there no if your not having a personal trainer at least once a week your not signing up, the smaller dude was nice, top not top tool go to pure gym its cheaper and the staff are much more friendly than top not

Fantastic experience: Lee has changed my mindset totally on food and exercising. I’ve been part of a 10 week fitness group with a great bunch of people with lee leading the way! I’m slowly building my confidence with myself and the gym. I hope I get to work with lee again because I feel he’s exactly what everyone needs as a motivator and a role model.

Fantastic experience: Fab gym nestled in the centre if Stockport! I train with the fabulous Amber, who is a women's specialist after the birth of my 2nd baby. It's so so good to be back in the gym, rehab-ing my body and doing something for myself. Hero fitness is super friendly and really well equipped.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Stockport without a doubt. Lee and shaun make you feel welcome straight away, plenty of equipment to use and the gym has a good friendly atmosphere. I’m currently on the 10 week transformation with Lee, as a pt he really delivers and puts the effort in with all his clients.

Fantastic experience: Lee is the best in the business. If you are wanting to change your mindset and lifestyle to become a better version of yourself this is the place to go! Last year I completed a 10 week transformation course with lee and a fabulous group of people. In that 10 weeks I lost 20 lbs and 16 inches! The energy lee brings is second to non!!!

Fantastic experience: My story is probably similar to many. Not happy with my weight or body shape, and was constantly embarking on diets and weight loss schemes that would either lead me hungry and unhappy or would make me give up after two weeks or so when I wasn't seeing any results. Lee was able to give me knowledge, support and structure to my plan which has enabled me to start achieving my goals. He was so friendly and enthusiastic that it really helped my motivation and the food plans were simple, easy to follow and tasty. I saw noticeable results within a week, getting into old clothes that were too tight, and feeling much more energised. Whenever I had a question regarding anything I could simply ask Lee and he would get back to me regularly with exactly the right information. If you've been stuck on fad diets with no results, I absolutely recommend Hero Fitness to achieve you're goals. Well done mate and keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: Newly qualified personal trainer and hero has been very welcoming to the world of fitness for me :). If you are looking for a friendly gym to join then hero defo is the gym for you. Great equipment and great atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Another gym in Stockport which has amazing staff and facilities. Smaller than you're average gym but as it has limited memberships, getting equipment is never a problem! HIGHLY recommend.

Absolutely love the appeal - it is definitely one of the nicest looking gyms I've ever been to and owners ensure that it is well looked after The gym has everything I needed and I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially new comers - couldn't think of a better place to start! Fantastic experience: Great place to work out. Clean and beautiful settings to train in. Very open mentality for all ages and all levels. The on site shower makes it convenient for morning/mid day workouts :)

Fantastic experience: Out of all the gymnasiums Fitness centres Local martial arts venues Hero fitness is by far the better facility. Spacious, clean, friendly atmosphere, accommodating and most of all welcoming!! Would recommend to everyone and any one, without a doubt.

Fantastic experience: Came for a Hiit training class and it was excellent! Didn't think I would survive or keep up but did alright and the trainer was really supportive and encouraging. A great approach and atmosphere - loved it!

They work around your schedule and change attitudes to health lifestyle. Can be strict and make you accountable but never criticise or make you uncomfortable. Truly great lads

Fantastic experience: Great place, great staff, PT's know exactly what they're doing! As for the racist comment, I think someone is either a little jealous or, can't handle some truth. Far from racist and the racist card can be thrown at the smallest of things. The fact you can also take your kids here is an added bonus. No excuses anymore

Fantastic experience: OK I've been going to Hero Fitness now for 5 months. I can honestly say of all the gyms I've tried and left Hero is just different. Unlike a lot of the big chain gyms this gym has a real friendly family vibe with members & PT's all greeting each other in a warm manner, I have never felt awkward or uncomfy. The PT's are very knowledgeable and always at hand with advice on how equipment works, exercise advise & nutritional advice. I rarely stick with gyms but I'm looking forward to smashing this year and taking part in the classes available. I 100% recommend Hero Fitness
