Fantastic experience: I decided to seek help on my own because the NHS was taking too long, and I found Taylor. He gave me immediate relief in my spinal cord area, shoulders and lower back. Today I had my second session and I intend to continue with him. He is excellent!

Fantastic experience: Super useful session. My back had locked up after carrying some heavy pots in the garden and I left the session with my back more relaxed, greater understanding of what was going on with my back and an email with 15mins of exercises to do daily before the follow up appointment.

Fantastic experience: Having experienced a neck issue I was advised to see a chiropractor or a physio. Given I have never been before I wasn’t sure what to expect, however, after my first session with Taylor I’m only gutted I didn’t go earlier! Not only was he patient and able to explain everything in layman’s terms, but my neck is already feeling better days later and I also have some increased functionality from before I had any neck issues. Taylor seems genuinely interested in your long term health which is very refreshing. Fantastic experience: I am 64 years old and have a chronic bone condition in my left hip called Paget's. I had treatment in March 2025 called 'Zoledronate infusion'. The pain persisted and worsened and spread to other areas of my back. My mobility was compromised, and I became very depressed and anxious because I didn’t know who to go to for treatment/advice. On Friday 9th May, after a Google search, I called Backspace for a free telephone consultation and spoke with Dr Lydia Scott-Mearns about my issues. Lydia understood Paget’s disease and was immediately able to give me practical advice over the phone. We connected straight away and I was very relieved that I found a professional who understood this debilitating condition. Following our telephone consultation, I have seen Lydia on 5 separate occasions for treatment, which has proved extremely successful. I have more mobility and very little pain, and my confidence has returned. It’s not just the physical help, Lydia has also helped me emotionally and mentally; encouraging me to go swimming and do other gentle exercise, and keeping a diary of my achievements, however small, which in turn has helped my mood and enabled me to cope better with work/travel. Lydia has turned my life around, and I can thoroughly recommend Backspace, and Lydia, to anyone who is trying to manage a chronic pain condition.

Negative experience: Took 4 months of regular sessions to suggest I have an MRI to check what could be the issue for my persistent limp and chronic lower back pain throughout the 4 months. Turns out I was a few months off from permanent nerve damage on a herniated (slipped) disk. I think it was down to naivety rather than cynically have me keep paying £60 for 20 min sessions each week, but it was shocking once I found out. 18 months and a lot of physio and gym later, it’s 80% repaired.

Fantastic experience: I had my first session with Taylor today and I can honestly say I have never had a more detailed, knowledgeable and progressive session. Taylor made sure I understood everything that was happening and why my body was feeling the way it was. The ways that he treated me were fantastic and I honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone else. Fantastic experience: I have seen Taylor for one session and I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. His ability to explain the complexities of the anotomy, the root cause of symtoms and then outline how he intents to treat these in such clear and simple manner really highlights his expertise. But most importantly, he delivers results. Within 30-40 minutes of work, I felt better than I have after hours of sports massages. I honestly cannot recommned Taylor enough. If you want to feel like a new person, you wont regret seeing him!

Negative experience: This clinic is Waste of money they are saying 60 min 95£ 40 min is talking and 10 min is doing he’s job these people don’t care to sort your back pain they just want you to go there for months to rip you off if you guys don’t know what to do with your money just go to this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr Taylor Nunn highly enough. I am receiving treatment for lower back discomfort and a lot of stiffness and tension in my jaw, neck and shoulders. I have also suffered from debilitating tinnitus for the last two years. Taylor is excellent at pinpointing the problem areas and providing the correct treatment. Fantastic experience: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I recently started struggling with sudden hip pain which was severely impeding my mobility. On the recommendation of my daughter I paid a visit to Taylor Nunn at BackSpace. After a very thorough medical and lifestyle intake I was diagnosed with 'snapping hip syndrome' and we immediately got to work with some urgency as I am scheduled to go on holiday to Bhutan in a few weeks which will involve lots of walking and climbing. Taylor put together an intensive program of manipulation treatment, dry needling and lots of exercises for me between appointments and the results are beyond impressive. Fantastic experience: I love coming here! I found Backspace online when I lived in London. The care is thorough. Even though I moved to Stevenage in Hertfordshire in 2023, I still come here for massage therapy followed by a chiropractic appointment. Fantastic experience: I only have amazing things to say about Dr Ole Brink and BackSpace Chiropractic! Originally found the clinic when I had suffered a back spasm and some related pain leaving me immobile. Within a few sessions I was well on my way back to normal work and fitness activities. Ole took the time to listen to all of my concerns, and helped me with a treatment plan covering short and long term goals. I’ve returned with several other injuries and always had the best experience here. Fantastic experience: I have just finished a 7 session package with Taylor Nunn and would highly recommend him and Backspace. I have been suffering with lower back pain for the last few years and have tried different physios without much success. The sessions with Taylor have given me a better understanding of what is causing my pain, as well as a range of exercises to minimise pain and strengthen my body. Fantastic experience: Nearly 2 years ago, I had a disc injury in my back during a time when I was busy and tired from working during covid in the NHS. I saw different therapists but I never really had a confirmed diagnosis and nothing really improved the pain or got me back to doing the things I like to do. I went to see Mathilde in January and my life has changed ever since. She gave me a clear diagnosis and plan and has given me some amazing treatment. I now know how to manage any flare ups (although they are now very rare) and I have managed to return to gym classes and running and kept myself in work! Fantastic experience: I had an initial consultation with Dr Taylor Nunn. Very clear, very knowledgable and very confident and reassuring. I didn’t time the session but it was about 1hr, maybe just over. We spent about 15 minutes discussing the issue, 15 minutes of an initial mobility and strength assessment. And 20-25 minutes of treatment which included some dry needle therapy and a massage on the necessary area. And a short debrief at the end going over the rehab exercises I’ll be engaging with. I have an interest in my body so I’m familiar with a reasonable amount of the anatomy that concerns me (I.e. general mobility practices and wherever I’m injured or feeling discomfort). I was very very happy with the session. Looking forward to working with Taylor to see positive results! Rewind 3 months ago, I couldn’t even walk down stairs or bend down to pick up my shoes without knee pain, causing me to move very tentatively in many basic day to day activities. I came to Taylor 3 months ago after a recommendation from a chiropractor in another city - see my initial session review somewhere above! My sessions with Taylor started off occurring every 4-6 days over the initial weeks, as we worked to understand how my body was responding to treatment, and our latest session separation was 3 weeks. Some of the treatment Taylor gave at the sessions was; soft tissue massages, dry needle therapy, some assisted mobility training. Additionally Taylor would always assess the progress from the previous session and regularly refresh the rehab exercise programme in-line with my progress! Beyond Taylor’s clear knowledge of the body and effective treatments, he has been an expert communicator; setting all sorts of expectations, from recovery timelines, expected session frequency and their costs etc. Any and all questions I asked about exercises or underlying causes, Taylor always responded with a reassuring and confident answer. His positive attitude and confidence in his knowledge combined with the gradual progress I was physically feeling gives me the confidence to recommend Taylor to absolutely anyone who feels like they need some guidance and support to feel physically strong, mobile and robust! While I have all the love for Taylor, my journey back to health was a team effort, as we both acknowledged. Over the 3 months I was engaging in the daily rehab to the best of my ability, making it a priority in my weekly routine - on average I’d say 4/5 days. There’s no secret to it, listen to Taylor and commit to it, it worked for me!

Fantastic experience: If you have Back pain, dont put it off anymore like i did, go to this place and get seen by the amazing team. I have been visiting Backspace for the last three weeks under the care of the enigmatic Dr Yang. When I first attended I had a spasming pain in my lower back that progressed to pins and needles down my leg. Dr Yang was able to diagnose a pinched nerve with ease and quickly prepared a plan to address the issues. After the first session I was already feeling relief, not just from the perspective of a Chiropractic patient, but also from the perspective of a person who has social anxiety. Dr Yang made me feel so comfortable and never once made me feel self conscious about my nervous sweating, in fact, he has a very calming effect on me. Beyond his skills as a Chiropractor, he's a lovely guy, genuine, warm, engaging and surprisingly funny. I would recommend Backspace to anyone, and I would personally recommend Dr Yang, he's a superstar.

Fantastic experience: Called for a last minute session on Saturday got booked for the first slot on Monday! Efficient and clear communication. I was seen by dr. Yang Jiew Teo; I felt welcomed, after a detailed discussion on my needs, he gave me many information on what happened to my body and how to overcome the issue. Booked another session and feel in good hands, literally! I think it is worth mentioning that they also have a sport massage therapist, which I was not aware of. The video shows how close to the Clapham Common tube the clinic is. Very straight forward to reach.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend seeing Taylor @ BackSpace. I came in barely able to walk or sit after injuring my back twice and I was very emotional. Taylor has spent almost 3 months taking time to help me recover, listen, guide and support. He’s created multiple exercise plans to build me back up to being able to train consistently, answering any queries with patience and care, I’m very grateful. He’s in the perfect job for him and very funny so you feel relaxed. 20/10 top marks!

Fantastic experience: I contacted Backspace, inquiring about a issue I was having and they were quick and clear with how I was to get booked in. I saw Yang Jiew, who was thorough with reviewing my issue and situation in my first session. He clearly explained to me his thoughts on the cause and what both he and I could do to work through this. The treatment he gave was great, targeting the pain I had, and he gave me some strengthening exercises to work on to build up the area of weakness. I have now had numerous sessions, tapering off as the symptoms improved. After every session, I feel much better and come away with confidence that if the issue flares up again, I can get booked in quickly and get effective treatment.

Fantastic experience: Saw Owain and within minutes he managed to diagnose a hip issue that several physios had missed and was the underlying cause of my knee issues. Suffice to say that I’ll be back. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Taylor is excellent and has helped me a lot. Actively listening to the description of my pains he asks his questions to understand more and offers his, easy-to-understand, explanation of the problem. Then he starts work - and then I feel better!

Positive experience: The initial consultation was good, saw some improvements, was told follows up we’re £55 for half an hour, follow up I was in and out within 20 minutes and charged £55, then got told the sessions are 20 minutes long for £55, £75 for half an hour. Called up to double check and got told the same, follow ups are half hour for £55. Disappointed cause this is not cheap, and I feel short changed and that I’ve been misled as you always need an initial hour consultation which is a sunk cost once done. Recommend being more transparent with your fees.

Fantastic experience: I think the backspace team have got everything right here. They seem to balance the personal touch with a nice environment and availability to suit. I have seen three of their therapists, Sam, Ricardo and Taylor.. All of them different but fantastic in their own right. Thank you to Taylor for the acupuncture service that was Not something I would have thought of but it seemed to have worked very well. See you all next week

Fantastic experience: I’ve been having a neck spasm and tightness that has gradually got worst over the course of the year. After exhausting all medical checks (bloodworks, X-rays, camera scans) and no one being able to tell me what is wrong or how to fix it I decided to try going to a chiropractor for the first time ever. I can only say that after 3 sessions with Dr. Mathilde Opsvik she has completely managed to remove whatever was happening, she is amazing, thorough and knowledgeable and I highly recommend her at Backspace.

Fantastic experience: I went in for an emergency appointment in absolute agony from pressure on a disk in my neck.I was due to fly to Warsaw the next morning. Taylor Nunn diagnosed the problem through a series of questions and light manipulation of my neck (he didn't hurt me - although I'm not sure how). He explained to me what had happened with a model of the spine. It was all clear, logical and made sense. He urged me to get painkillers from my GP in view of the imminent flight, told me what position in which to sleep and gave me some exercises to do. He also manipulated my head, which helped a lot. I slept well, caught the flight and had a great week, made even greater because I had been sure I wouldn't be able to go. I went back today for a check, more exercises and more manipulation. I am no longer taking the painkillers. I definitely recommend Taylor Nunn if you want a clear, straightforward approach and a caring practitioner.

Fantastic experience: I had been to numerous other physios before BackSpace and was still in discomfort. I had a few sessions with Mathilde. Mathilde addressed the problem with a thorough diagnosis, then I had a few sessions to ease my pain. Alongside this I was given exercises/stretches to do. I will definitely be going back!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been experiencing neck pain and lower back problems for years. A sudden increase in pain and lack of movement prompted me to book an appointment at BackSpace. Riccardo understood my problems and helped me understand why it was happening and how he could help fix it. Fantastic experience: It was my first time at Backspace. I had some long term back problems and opted for a sports massage with Cecile. She was careful in checking my medical history and keen to understand my situation. The massage was exactly what I wanted and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a sports massage to choose Cecile. During the massage she asked if the pressure was okay and would adjust depending upon your preference or if uncomfortable.

Fantastic experience: I've been to multiple Chiropractors in the past and BackSpace is by far my best experience. Dr Mathilde was fantastic, not only providing immediate and lasting relief for my neck but explaining the causes and remediation super clearly which has made me really understand what is going on with my misalignments. Fantastic experience: I had a horrible back pain and could not move. As soon as I was able to make it out of home I visited Backspace. They were extreme helpful, arranged an appointment and I had a session with Taylor. He was fantastic, even after the very first session I was able to take proper steps.
