Fantastic experience: If I could give Katie more than 5 stars I would. I only wish I had found Warrior Womben after my first pregnancy. I started going to the classes from six weeks postpartum until my little boy was around 13 months and I started back at work. If I could keep going I would! Honestly I have learnt so much about my body and the changes it has been through during pregnancy and after birth. Starting with the Early Recovery Programme was incredibly beneficial, my pelvic floor and core are so much stronger and as silly as it sounds, I now actually understand how it all works together. Being able to move through the different programmes has been brilliant and I feel so much stronger. I have really loved being part of the Warrior Womben community, I feel genuinely stronger than before I had children and I know way more about my body. Katie is so passionate about postpartum recovery, she answers all questions without hesitation and is incredibly kind and supportive. Thankyou so much Katie, will maybe see you again and give the pregnancy warrior a go if baby number 3 is on the cards! Jordan
Fantastic experience: I have been going along to Warrior Womben classes since I was pregnant and throughout the postpartum period. I suffered a lot during pregnancy with upper abdominal pain and back pain and as someone who did a lot of exercise pre-pregnancy I found this really hard. Being able to go to Katie's classes and exercise in a safe environment with someone so knowledgeable was amazing. She made me feel so confident and empowered going into labour which I'm sure contributed to a speedy and relaxed first stage of labour. I have also loved going along to her recovery sessions. I have learnt so much about how to help strengthen my body after pregnancy and labour. With a range of abilities in the class everyone is made to feel welcome. Every exercise can be adapted and modified to suit individual needs. Katie is always happy to explain and demonstrate exercises multiple times when my baby brain can't process the information! Katie quite often posts videos to the whatsapp group of exercises from class or other exercises to try at home. This is great for anyone wanting to continue doing a bit more exercise outwith class. I feel so much stronger now than I did at the start of my recovery and I feel confident that I can start to build back up to my pre-pregnancy fitness. I hope that I will be able to attend the Warrior Womben classes again in the future!
Fantastic experience: It is really difficult to describe how amazing Warrier Womben are! The recovery program has helped me so much after having my baby. I feel 100 times stronger than I ever have. Which has then empowered me to continue strengthen myself all over and stay active. It’s gave me a positive mindset and attitude about looking after my self through strengthening exercises. The class has helped me achieve things I never thought I’d be able to do anymore, however I can now say, I can successfully jump on a trampoline and I’ve managed the, “if you can do this your biological age is under 30” and i am 40 tomorrow! The classes are super friendly and to begin with if you don’t know anyone, it can be daunting. But keep going, the relationships you build with other mums and Katie is lovely. Which on top of the strengthening aspect is a bonus, great for mental health too. Katie supports you through it all making sure your form is correct and can change or adapt things to suit you. Nothings too much trouble and any advice you need everyone there is happy to help. I started January and recently stopped for returning to work. I would definitely recommend continuing the blocks for best results. Some morning you can feel exhausted and not want to go but you never leave regretting going, you always feel stronger physically and mentally for doing it. The babies are welcome in the class and Katie is really supportive with them too and will help where needed. It’s also lovely to watch the babies grow and make some friends. All round the class is the perfect medicine for mind, body and soul and the best place to start your recovery after having a baby. I also done a few pregnancy yoga classes towards the end of my pregnancy and I feel they helped towards a smoother labour, for being an older mum and also was lovely to relax and stretch out a bit.
Fantastic experience: Katie helped me return to my pre-pregnancy fitness level with kind and gentle support. I now have the confidence to return to my gym routine which has also helped with my commitment. Being able to take my little boy with me to classes made them easy to attend and take part in and the relaxed atmosphere. Katie demonstrated everything giving complete guidance and further help and adaptations if needed. Returning to fitness after pregnancy and C-section was much more enjoyable through these classes, along with the great group of women I did it with.

Fantastic experience: Warrior Womben provides the opportunity for mummas-to-be to move through modified yoga poses in classes specifically designed for pregnancy and labour preparation. Lynsey who runs the pregnancy yoga is a midwife at the BGH and has been a key person in my support network through my pregnancy journey: She is happy to provide any thoughts, support and encouragement on things that may concern a mum to be and will cheer you on as you navigate the weeks leading up to birth. I also found having insight to the midwifery team ahead of my birth particularly settling. The other ladies in the class make for a supportive and positive community with a welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to keeping in touch with some of these yogis as we approach motherhood. I feel so grateful and lucky to have been able to attend such great classes through my pregnancy journey, and look forward to returning for the post partum classes.
Fantastic experience: I completed the warrior womben birth empowerment workshop in my third trimester. I have been going to Lynsey and Katie’s yoga and fitness classes throughout my pregnancy and have really enjoyed them. I absolutely loved the birth empowerment workshop! I left feeling a lot more confident and informed for labour and beyond. The sessions were all really informative throughout the day and the information was shared in a gentle and well paced way so as not to be at all over whelming as there it lots of fab info to take in from there the birth through to feeding and the fourth trimester! The sessions on feeding and the 4th trimester as well as the birth itself as well was really useful as often it can be difficult to think beyond the birth but it was great to have that support. Thanks so much Katie, Lynsey and Becky for such a fab day! X
Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Lynsey and Katie from Warrior Womben enough. The whole experience has honestly, and not to be too dramatic, life changing. Coming from a person who has been challenged with generalised anxiety, in particular about becoming a mother, the experience completely changed my mind set, from fear to calm and relaxed. Joining Lynsey's yoga class and Katie's strength class allowed me to become a part of a community of expectant mothers who were all going through similar experiences. This normalised the pregnancy experience, making it enjoyable, which would have otherwise been an uncertain, anxiety provoking time for me. Both classes undoubtably helped me prepare for birth, where I utilised the breathing techniques and the different birthing postures. My husband and I also participated in Lynsey's hypnobirthing class. We were lucky enough to have a one-to-one session at our house, which made the experience even more special and personalised. It gave us a safe space to discuss the birthing journey as a couple. As first-time parents we felt informed and empowered to prepare ourselves for the birth of our baby girl, allowing us to make decisions that were in our best interest. Although we had very clear birth preferences Lynsey also taught us how to deal with a change of plan. Leading up to the birth of our baby girl I was relaxed, utilising hypnobirthing audios daily, visualisation and anchors. I believe all of this undoubtedly contributed towards my relatively quick and straightforward labour and recovery. I am so grateful and look forward to participating in warrior womben post-partum classes soon
Fantastic experience: Just attended Lynsey's hypnobirthing and prep course. It was very relaxed, informative, well structured and well paced. Helps you feel more positively about labour and gives you a better understanding of the physiology of birth and how to support your body through it. Both my husband and me left feeling glad we had signed up. On a side note, Lynsey and Katie are both brilliant in their pregnancy yoga and warrior classes.
Fantastic experience: My partner and I recently attended Lynsey’s hypnobirthing course. We had no idea what to expect but Lynsey’s course is engaging, empowering and fun! We both had a lot of fear and anxiety about the birthing process but Lynsey’s course has given us a much deeper understanding of the physiology of birth and how to work with my body. Lynsey is engaging, knowledgeable and passionate. The course has left me feeling more confident, prepared and feeling like I can trust in my body. We could not recommend Lynsey’s course more, particularly for those who have any fear or anxiety around labour.
Fantastic experience: As a dad to be, I found Lynsey’s course incredibly thorough. The course material and content was well planned and insightful. I’m not a huge learner via books / reading so enjoyed that the course contained practical elements and discussion with other parents-to-be. I feel much more confident and prepared to support my wife at our upcoming home birth.
Fantastic experience: We attended Lynsey's Birth Preparation & Hypnobirthing course and were blown away by how well considered, thorough and supportive it was. If you are looking for a course that will leave you feeling empowered and prepared - this is it! Lynsey's teaching style is engaging, approachable and inclusive. Fantastic experience: A massive thank you to Katie and Lindsay. I have been fortunate to attend the pregnancy classes with Katie and workshop with Katie and Lindsay. This is without a doubt the best thing I have done for my body and my baby. Katie is very knowledgable and she has a special way to pass this to us (almost by osmose). Although in a group, Katie is always able to personalise exercises to each one of us and a source of valuable information and resources in regards to all pregnancy matters. The classes are in small numbers and very friendly environment. Thank you for all you do for this community. Looking forwards to post natal classes.
Fantastic experience: I attended Lynsey’s yoga class from 12weeks right up till the week before birth. My body and mind was well prepared for labour thanks to the classes, I instinctively knew what to do which allowed me to have a magical natural birth - highly recommend and if I have another baby I will be back! Looking forward to the postnatal classes soon!
Fantastic experience: Thank you Katie, for helping me gain confidence to exercise again when my body felt utterly broken after pregnancy and a c-section. After 2 big babies my ab separation was pretty drastic, Katie showed me some great exercises to help and I can’t wait to join the next block after your maternity leave. The classes felt like a safe space and I looked forward to them every week. I only wish I’d known about warrior womben when I was pregnant! Katie your knowledge of the female body is invaluable- thank you!
