MummaBfit: Opinions
Fantastic experience: These are literally the best classes I have attended on maternity leave. Not only does the exercise keep me fit, healthy and gain strength after childbirth, but the classes provide opportunity to meet other like minded mums. It's an amazing, friendly community and I am so glad I joined. I would not have been able to exercise with my daughter without these classes.
Awww Kelly thank you so much so lovely to read how much you’re enjoying our classes. Thank you xx
Fantastic experience: I LOVE these classes. I get a proper workout even though I’ve got the little one with me - these classes make it possible by providing such a friendly and supportive space. I’ve met lots of really lovely mums and look forward to a well deserved tea and chat after the workout!!
Fantastic experience: Mummabfit is a lifeline, a home from home and the recipe to a great maternity leave. It’s so much more than just exercise. Having never exercised regularly my entire life I can whole heartedly say I have never felt stronger. Plus if your a bargain lover like me that will pay for groups for your child but never spends money on yourself then this is guilt free! Not only is it great for both your physical and mental health but it’s also basically a playgroup for the babies, hello double whammy and value for money! But in all seriousness, these exercise classes are elite, you are welcomed so warmly, everything is inclusive and personalised to your ability, birth and strength levels. Beyond the physical exercise though I have made such amazing connections and friendships with the ladies in the classes and the support I have felt from these ladies as soon as we’ve encountered any difficulties has been second to none (literally, not even measurable against health visitor advice). It is just as much about the time to talk, support and connect as it is the physical side and on my hardest weeks it has kept me going (the biscuits help that too ). We’ve come to MummaBfit as many times a week as we could physically fit in since my baby was 6 weeks old on the dot. When we move (relocating) and I go back to work I know for sure there will be a massive chunk of my heart missing that the MummaBfit family used to be in. If anyone is at all on the fence about joining just do it it’ll be the best decision you’ve ever made, the only down side is the burpees .
Fantastic experience: I'm 5 months postpartum with my first and have struggled to do much of anything by myself. Having heard great things about MummaBfit I decided to try out the free session in Dummer and I'm glad I did. Vicky was so welcoming and took the time to understand my birth, how little one is being fed and any concerns I had, she also gave me some tips and information about being pp that I didn't know! All the exercises had a few easier variations and Vicky encouraged all of the mums to take each move at their own pace which was very comforting. The mats, toys and bouncers for little ones to sleep or be entertained were well organised, looked after and spaced out. All the mums were very welcoming and the optional tea, biscuits and conversations after was a great way to socialise and have even more 'mum/adult time' for ourselves. Such a great class. I'd highly recommend to any Mummas wanting to do a little something for themselves by exercising without needing to worry about their little one.
Fantastic experience: I love these classes to me they are an absolute lifeline. Good days or bad days with my little one are made all the better for attending Vicky's classes. There is such a warm friendly environment full of supportive mums and absolutely no judgement at all. I remember on one occasion my little girl having an absolute melt down at the end of the class and there was nothing I could do to soothe her, I felt so embarrassed not being able to calm her. But the Mums in the class offered to hold her for me and asked if there was anything they could do to help, I was so relieved! The work out themselves are great and all easily adapted to suit any fitness level. I now feel ready to go back to playing netball thanks to the classes. I love that it’s also just as much fun for my daughter as it is for me. Vicky herself is an incredibly human who is so open and honest with her own struggles that it allows you to feel like you’re not alone. She writes blogs about how things are going in her own life that again exposes the struggles of motherhood. I would highly recommend these classes above anything else whilst on maternity leave. I will continue to go to them for as long as possible!
Fantastic experience: I had been looking for workout/exercise class, that was able to offer a wider range of class times with a mix of classes AND I could bring my daughter too (which seemed an impossible task). I saw MummaBfit advertised along with a weeks free trial. Although after attending one trial session, I knew immediately that I wanted to join as a member. The classes are a perfect mix of fun, interaction and most importantly working out! I have felt in other classes before a sense of dread if my little one wants to be super clingy, cry and make a fuss (a typical baby) but every member and the instructors are super nice and no one bats an eyelid and you get the sense of solidarity! I’m really happy I’ve joined, and it’s really helped me, not only the physical aspect but mentally as well with the combination of working out, getting out of the house and speaking with like minded people plus the cuppa/biscuits after definitely help! Thank you MummaBfit
It’s been absolutely fabulous to meet you. Here’s to many more cups of tea
Vicky x
Fantastic experience: Would recommend to any mum. Classes are relaxed, judgement-free and fun, and yes there really is tea and biscuits afterwards I have 2 under 2 and getting out and doing anything for myself is difficult. My little boy won't settle easily and is prone to a meltdown but I've been able to take part wearing him in a carrier, Vicky is always able to adapt an exercise for me. Everyone I've met in the classes has been really friendly and supportive.
Fantastic experience: I love these classes. Its a great opportunity to get fit, have fun and meet like minded Mums from the area. The instructors take time to get to know everyone and the babies and really do go above and beyond. I'd highly encourage anyone to give it a go.
Fantastic experience: I love going to mummaBfit, the community of mums are so friendly & supportive and I feel so good after every session. It is a group that focuses on mums well-being first rather then shaking ribbons and singing at baby like at other groups. MummaBfit has plenty of play mats, bouncy chairs and toys to occupy babies and toddlers while mum works out and all workouts are tailored around postnatal bodies. Vicky is amazing and bonkers in perfect measures and makes everyone feel welcome. It’s so nice going to her fully equipped barn rather then a dusty village hall. I highly recommend it to everyone.
Fantastic experience: MummaBfit was a life saver for me while on maternity leave, getting me out of the house and feeling better about myself and feeling fitter. My baby always enjoys playing with the toys while I work out and do something for myself! Vicky always makes you feel so welcome and like you’re not alone! Would recommend these classes to anyone who has had a baby who wants to get back to feeling like themselves again.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Mumma’s for the last 6 months and I can’t speak anymore highly of it! It’s not just about the exercise (although I feel the fittest I’ve felt in years), but about the supportive community of likeminded mums who are there to help support you through the turbulence that is motherhood! You don’t necessarily need to go to work out if you e had a rough night with your child, you can just go for the cuppa and a chance to get out the house! There are plenty of toys for the little ones as well as the slightly bigger ones (I go with a 4yo and an 8 month old)! Vicky is an absolute legend and she makes sure that everyone feels comfortable with the exercises they’re doing (she really knows what she’s talking about), but being a mum of 3 herself she is also a great shoulder to cry on and the supplier of biscuits and a hot drink! I hate exercise, but it’s doesn’t even feel like hard work with Vicky and her insane sense of humour and the group of incredible women that join mummas!
Fantastic experience: Vicky is brilliant and her classes are great. Fitness, friendship and fun all rolled into one, and somewhere the kids can come too which makes it so much easier than trying to find childcare! I'd highly recommend MummaBfit to anyone
Fantastic experience: I started MummaBfit classes during lockdown with my first baby when Vicky streamed them online. They were amazing and I was so glad when I had my second baby that there was a chance to do them again but this time face to face. The classes are varied and Vicky is really knowledgeable about postnatal fitness. She pushes me to become fitter and stronger and the best version of me I can be. My kids love it too and they can play safely. My toddler especially loves that he can join in the class if he feels like it. I would 100% recommend Vicky and MummBfit.
Fantastic experience: Vicky is amazing, her classes are so welcoming and you can work out to your own level with no pressure. It's so refreshing to have a class focused on the mums physical and mental well-being as opposed to all the baby classes where it's all play scarfs and singing. There is a great selection of toys to keep little ones entertained and tea/coffee and biscuits for once the workout is finished. I constantly recommend these classes to everyone, they are about so much more then exercise
Fantastic experience: MummaBFit is the lifeline that I needed. The classes are fun and gave me the opportunity to socialise and make new mum friends. As a first time mum the world can be a daunting place and MummaBFit gave me the opportunity to get out of the house, meet new friends and also get a little fitter at the same time.
