Fantastic experience: David has helped me for the past 25 years keep my body working. I have had limb and heart surgery and with his patient and knowledgeable support, I am still able to cycle, ski and lead an active life. I would highly recommend his patient approach where he listens to you and pushes you to an achievable level. I am a walking testament to his ability to motivate, stretch and help you mentally overcome injury.
Fantastic experience: Having begun personal training with Dave Jones I have found his attention to detail and ability to be both challenging and supportive really motivating. Fantastic experience: I was first introduced to Karl through my brother who has seen very good results, so I thought I would give him a go and what can I say, I had a really bad injury (tilted pelvis problems with my whole left side from lower back down) and now I am pain free a riding my bike a lot more, and getting stronger and better over time Karl certainly knows what he is doing and I always recommend him to anyone I know that needs some work done
Fantastic experience: I booked myself onto the 6 week ‘Summer Fitness Programme’ at DJPT. The one-to-one tailored training sessions with Karl took place once a week on-site and I continued a programme of exercise at home in conjunction with a healthy diet plan. In that short length of time, I’ve not only built up more muscle strength, I’ve lost over half a stone in weight. I would definitely recommend Karl, who’s so supportive, listens to your individual needs, and is extremely knowledgeable and approachable. So if like me ‘you’re not sure’, and this is holding you back, if I can do it, you can!

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend for personal training. Very knowledgeable in nutrition and fitness. Have never been so consistent with my workouts as I have been with the workouts that Karl sets and PT sessions which I really enjoy. Previously I have not looked forward to training. Complete thorough holistic assessments throughout.
Fantastic experience: Started back in July/August 2022 and have attended my sessions consistently... which is alot for me... as my personal record for consistent exercise is about 8 weeks!!! This is down to Karl, he makes my sessions fun, exciting and tailored to my specific needs week on week. I and others have definitely noticed an improvement in not only my figure, but my strength and cardiovascular-fitness aswell! I find myself actually looking forward to my sessions!!

Fantastic experience: David Jones Personal Training was recommended to me by friends at a time when i was looking to move my cycling fitness onto a much more competitive level with a specific goal in mind. I first met David Jones in March 2022. Having never been coached before, i was concerned about the demands of training to power. David was immediately re assuring and enthusiastic about my competitive cycling aspirations. In the months i have been following a training plan, i have found David to be both knowledgeable and precise with his training advice. My experience to date has been positive and i have enjoyed a steady upturn in my competitive cycling performance giving me confidence in progressing further with my Cyclo Cross Racing program. I would not hesitate to recommend David Jones Personal Training to anyone looking for sound advice with the aim of improving fitness for competitive sporting performance.

Fantastic experience: Karl has been working with me for several months now. He is a quietly approachable trainer with a wealth of expertise to call on. He has dealt professionally with my ankle injury by gradually progressing the exercises, and I feel confident he has the knowledge to do that. His calm, patient and caring attitude has helped me to make progress on my weight loss and overall fitness journey . He has helped me to overcome personal set backs and keeps me moving In the right direction. I would most definitely recommend him and the DJPT family. Fantastic experience: I've been training with Karl from David Jones for 2 months now and I am nothing but impressed with the guidance, training program tailored to my needs and expert advice. I have trained inconsistently over the last 25 years and gained a lot of weight during lock-down, developed bad lifestyle and dietary habits and always found excuses never to make the change. At 47, was worried that my age might hinder muscle growth and the speed of which I could get stronger and fitter. My stomach was bloated, my flexibility was poor and chest sagged. A combination of overworking, poor sleep and daily sugar crashes was making all areas of my life difficult, but DJPT had answers and I am getting measurable results. My first consultation was comprehensive and informative. Most PTs I have known over the years have huge gaps in their knowledge regarding diet, recovery, long term fitness planning etc. Karl has detailed answers to all my questions. What to eat, when to eat how much to eat - and why. Detailed breakdowns of correct, safe, optimum weight lifting techniques, and managing how you might mentally feel as you take yourself through what might be an unfamiliar physical lifestyle transformation. Of course I could refer to 100 different books, but DJPT has done the reading for you. Within 2 months I have lost a 14lb, gained muscle mass and done this in a sustained comfortable way. My weekly sessions monitor all aspects of my progress, so I can measure the benefits of my work and remain motivated. The dietary, fitness and strength building program is first class. I have not been upsold any potions, powders, or any type of supplement. All aspects of my personal circumstances have been considered in the advice I have been given. There are cheaper PTs, there are more expensive PTs, but I have found Karl @ DJPT good value for money and equally as importantly excellent use of time. Sessions cheaper than 5 pints, a Kebab and a Fry-up in the morning. My 1-2-1 sessions are reasonably intense, efficient and very effective. I'm inspired and excited by the progress I have made in a relativity short space of time and would recommend Karl to anyone looking for a practical tailored achievable program that will save them days trawling the internet trying to work out what online fitness guru to follow and a fortune supplements or experimental workouts that risk injury or a lot of wasted time. In saying all this I do benefit from being motivated and reasonably well disciplined, so I am unclear if/how DJPT could help with that, but I hope to work with Karl for a long time as his advice and coaching given me significant strength and fitness gains. I am more flexible, more agile - and the Belly is going!!!
Fantastic experience: Having trained with DJPT over a year I find Karl knowledgeable, supportive, approachable and with great attention to detail. We discussed my desired goals. Following an injury Karl devised a personalised, achieveable programme to build strength, improve stamina and encourage flexibility. As a horse rider the above are important. I also have a programme of exercise to do at home.
Fantastic experience: David is an amazing trainer. He has supported and trained me for over 10 years and is instrumental in improving my overall health and fitness using individual weight, exercise and dietary plans based on his extensive knowledge and experience. In addition, his work was key to shortening my recovery time from a recent hip replacement and he tailors his programmes to support my sports activities, eg golf. Fantastic experience: Have been training with Karl for 4 weeks now, once a week personally and the rest virtually. Very consise and enjoyable workouts. Fantastic experience: David is a great personal trainer. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and a good motivator. I started training with David about six years ago. I had a sedentary job and had been getting lazy and had lost a lot of fitness and was getting over-weight. That’s when I started training with David. I am now lighter, fitter and stronger than I was and have fewer aches and pains in my back and joints.
Fantastic experience: I did the 30 day challenge it was hard work but Karl checked in every step of the way, set daily workouts and met me once a week at the private gym to provide a pt session and give support and encouragement, i learnt alot and i lost just over a stone in 4 weeks! Fantastic experience: I have trained with David Jones and his team for over 15 years. David has a very personal and bespoke approach to training. He really takes the time to understand your needs and builds the best programme. Previous trainers just banged out a session as quickly as possible just to say they had done the agreed hour. If you are looking to lose weight, improve your running or build strength. David will focus on what you need to do to get to that result.

Fantastic experience: DJPT is superb, no detail too small, one to one personal training. Got a challenge, however big or small??? DJPT will cater for it, down to the smallest detail, supporting you through the hard sessions and celebrating when you hit your ‘training or race day’ targets. If you want a ‘personal’ training plan for any challenge, contact DJPT, you wont regret it. I did, any i’ve never looked back.
