WAKT Muay Thai

Fantastic experience: Our son joined WAKT almost 3 years ago and he enjoyed every class he went to. The trainers are amazing, take their time to teach individuals and prepare them to complete their bands. We can't recommend them enough - so very supportive and so much fun!

Fantastic experience: Took my daughter to her first Muay Thai session recently, she was so nervous she nearly didn't walk through the door. She ended up not only doing the session we went for, but the session after also she enjoyed it that much. The team were great, welcomed her, made her feel comfortable, included her in all the training, straight away giving her hints and tips in the sparring. She enjoyed it immensely. Fantastic experience: I have trained at WAKT for a few years now and my only regret is that I didn't join sooner! The whole team are like one big family and it is the most friendly and welcoming environment to train in. Fantastic experience: Incredible place to learn traditional Muay Thai. I have been going for just over three weeks now. Al and Pete have made me feel welcome and at home since day one and they are incredible teachers. They have classes for complete beginners all the way up to advanced which is amazing so you don’t have to feel too overwhelmed when first starting out. I highly recommend WAKT Muay Thai!

The sense of community, side by side with the very effective techniques which the science of 8 offers . It’s all of this and more, that’s why we keep coming back.

There is absolutely no attitude or fakeness at WAKT, everybody is open to learn and help others. It's a great place to go get fit, learn Muay Thai and have fun doing so. Fantastic experience: I have been training out of the WAKT gym now for several months being a beginner to Muay Thai all the team made me feel comfortable and relaxed and explain all the drills and skills needed very clearly the Monday night classes are perfect for anyone wanting to start out, I also have 1-1 PT sessions with AL which are brilliant as you get a great work out whilst getting ALs years of knowledge of the sport at the same time. 5***

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend this gym highly enough! I travel the country for work and attend Muay Thai gyms wherever I go. This gym, and the people who run it are first class. The sessions are enjoyable, challenging and varied. In my view, A perfect mix of technique, conditioning and form. kru Al takes his time to explain Techniques and gives everyone individual attention. Also, everyone was friendly and welcoming which really makes a big difference. Looking forward to returning, and my thanks to you all.

Fantastic experience: Incredible Muay Thai gym with friendly coaches and a range of classes available for all levels of experience. I've been attending WAKT since 2019, starting as someone who had no experience. Everyone is really friendly and approachable, from the coaches to the other members. It's a PAYG system, booking online which is really simple and easy to do. You can buy equipment from the dedicated shop on the premises, all good value and high quality. Would highly recommend trying out a session at WAKT and learning a great set of skills that could one day take you to fighter level at this gym.

I have noticed a difference in my fitness and body shape all ready. I suffer with bad depression and anxiety since going to Wakt it has helped raise my mood levels. Fantastic experience: My son has trained with the whole wakt family for the last 2 years, from a shy boy he is growing into a super confident, well mannered and respectful young man all because off the guidance training and respect he watches everyone one else give each other!!! His Muay Thai is also coming along excellently all because off mr al, Elle and peter Thomas ( when he teaches aswell) authentic is a word that epitimises wakt Muay Thai!!! I even train there now aswell best thing I ever did! dropped over 10kg in weight in 9 months with just hard work GREAT TEAM/FAMILY this place will definitely take your Muay Thai to the next level/ or even help u just get physically and mentally stronger

The vibe and atmostsphere is awesome in this gym, whether you want to train to fight or train for fitness, Al and his team couldn’t be more welcoming. He has transformed my daughters skill and ability in such a short space of time. Great gym.

There is something for everyone here with everyone made to feel comfortable and welcome. No big egos to contend with just sweaty fun for all!
