Negative experience: We’ve been coming to Hampton Leisure for nearly 10 years, but our recent experience with the manager, Dianne, was very disappointing. My daughter forgot her swimwear for her lesson (a first-time mistake), and when we politely requested a makeup lesson later in the week, we were met with a cold, rude, and unhelpful response, citing “terms and conditions.” A simple, empathetic “no” would have sufficed, but instead, her approach was dismissive and unfriendly. When I mentioned that Lampton Leisure has canceled lessons in the past without notifying us properly, I was again told, “that’s the terms and conditions you signed up for.” Hiding behind policies instead of offering customer service is unacceptable. Hospitality training for the manager would greatly improve how situations like this are handled by her in the future.

Fantastic experience: Called up today, spoke to Oliver. Top guy. Really informative. Dropped in 2 hours later to register my details and we loved the hospitality, he showed us all the areas, explained everything we cared about and overall was great experience, Oliver is a real credit to this place. We’re signing up.

Fantastic experience: I was a bit worried after seeing the bad reviews but I had no issues here. I went at 7am to swim so that it was quieter as I haven't swam in a long time. It was clean, there was the odd hairclip in the pool but it wasnt dirty, receptionist was lovely. She let me know that next time I come, to bring a padlock as the female only takes padlocks but the mixed takes £1 coins.

Negative experience: This swimming pool is terrible. Extremely dirty,very cold, horrible conditions. Especially if you want to put your kids lessons there, it’s absolutely horrible! I used to go lessons there my self and the staff was rude, pool was dirty and way too many kids in a small pool! I dont recommend this place at all!

Negative experience: I’ve got a gold membership at this gym, and me and my group of friends were about 15 people, we are considering leaving because of the attitude of the staff, especially one lady at the reception, Lein. Every time I come, she’s always moody with a bad attitude, never greets, no Hi Hello, and yesterday, I brought my son with me since I had a guest pass, she doesn’t say hello, she just shouts, “you brought him here less than 3 months ago,” she hasn’t checked on the system, I brought my son after 4 months actually, doesn’t apologise, and just has no manners, always with attitude, I check my membership, it doesn’t mention anything about having the same person every 3 months, when a lady then told me it’s on the terms and conditions. I’ve had a look at it all, I’ve read it all and it doesn’t say nothing, so please tell your college to keep her rasism and attitude to herself otherwise the whole group of us is fed up and we are considering leaving

Fantastic experience: Great gym all the staff are lovely and extremely friendly. Cardio Tennis is the best Brendan’s classes are always so much fun. he even does a beginners lesson beforehand which is absolutely brilliant . Brendan is an amazing teacher I’ve learnt so much

Negative experience: I can't believe I had to move my daughter's swimming lessons from Chiswick pool to Hanworth because of our house move. She was at 70% of her swimming progress when we relocated. The swimming coaches are so unprofessional and ineffective in helping the kids. I have to constantly watch her swim, and she meets all the UK swimming criteria. Yet, for some reason, they are not helping my child progress, and now she's only at 80% after 2 years. This assessment is completely inaccurate! Poor management..

Negative experience: Avoid) Men must read… I was told I couldn’t swim in the pool because I’m a man and it’s women’s night. So I asked when is men’s night I was told there is no men’s night I thought that’s a bit sexist I bet that pool was full of feminists who hate men. What is it going to be next I can’t swim because I’m Muslim ?? so why are the women so special why are they treated like they are above men in this club also the place is disgustingly rotten the floor is very bad the customers are not decent people

Positive experience: Took my daughter for her first swim lesson at this Sunday. Overall, it was a mixed bag. Booking (2.5 stars): Confusing website! When booking, it wasn't clear how many people were included or the pool depth. "Main Pool" was all it mentioned. Turns out, it's deeper than 5ft, not ideal for young learners. They need clearer info! Locker Rooms (3.5 stars): Lockers were good, individual changing areas were nice with benches. But common area lacked mirrors, especially with so many women using them. More mirrors would be helpful! They do offer female-only changing rooms though, which might be a better option for some. Swimming (4 stars): The water was lovely - warm, clean, and perfect for a 90-minute swim. There were even separate kiddie pools for lessons, which looked well-maintained. Just a shame they didn't have any swimming aids like boards available. But overall, a great place for a swim! Showers & Toilets (1.5 stars): Disappointing! Many sinks in the men's showers weren't working, and the showers themselves were wonky with temperature control. Toilets were okay, but bigger issue was some children acting inappropriately (even making sexual gestures towards my daughter) and taking forever in the showers. Security needs to check these areas more often to prevent this. Would recommend for the pool itself, but the booking system and showers need improvement.

Negative experience: So much agree with negative comments - I had similar experiences many times. Today went in hoping to swim before starting work in the morning. The receptionist told me that I have only 30 min - due to lifeguard unavailable the pool will be closed after. She took my payment. I changed and went in to find out that pool is closed already! Came back to have a refund, but was shouted at as it was my fault that she couldn't double check the information - I apparently pressurised her to take my money! This is a fraud! She refused a refund, and instead given me a Lampton card with one free swim, or told to come and swim later when lifegueard arrives to work! 4 years ago I am fuming! Every time when I visit the swimming pool, the staff tries to sell me a membership. But pool is closed one out if two times I try to visit it. Hair dryers are not working. Yesterday checked on the website - pool is open until 18:00. Turned out at 4 pm PM and was sent home telling it's a mistake. The guy pointed out at the window poster "Holiday opening times" where the printed time was scratched out and 16:00 written by hand on top. Today I came back - the figure 6 is corrected by hand to 8! So it had to be open until 18:00!

Negative experience: Hanworth Air Park Leisure Centre & Library Review I had a highly disappointing experience at Hanworth Air Park Leisure Centre & Library. The staff is consistently rude and unprofessional, making it clear they are not interested in solving your problems or providing adequate explanations. Any attempts to seek help are met with unresponsiveness, as they frequently ignore emails and lack a specific place for discussing issues. Moreover, the staff seems more focused on taking your money than offering genuine assistance. When requesting to speak with a manager, I was told there was no one available at the center and promised a follow-up that never happened. This place is a chaotic mess, and I strongly advise against joining this center. They are unreliable and untrustworthy. If I could give zero stars, I would.⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️ and the reviews in there website is fake .

Fantastic experience: The pools are clean and well looked after, its quieter than a lot of other places and the staff are amazing, friendly and helpful and always welcoming. The water slide is working and a lot of fun for kids.

Negative experience: They cancell lessons at the last minute more often due to the excuse of staff shortages. The ladies at the reception are not trained on equality as they dont treat you well because of skin colour. They are rude and unwelcoming, they are always negative whatever you ask. I have seen them speak in a favourable way to white people. I always see the same ladies there who only know how to say No No No No No No. I would request from the management to train their front line staff on customer services. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Affordable prices /pay as you go or monthly membership, facilities offer gym, swim & sauna, 3 sizes of swim pools , 2 fitness studio lots structure classes ,gym area gr8 equipment , out side complex ie netball , inside racket ball

Negative experience: My daughter it's supposed to play tournament in tennis but the organiser didn't contact me. Didn't do anything. I have tried to contact him several times just a basic answer. I will send an email but we never received any emails whatsoever. Avoid this place and don't go there ever!!!!!! If they're not bothered to give a effort back to us, why we will spend money pay them for doing nothing.

Fantastic experience: I just joined lampton leisure and dud zumba class with Simona . She is amazing zumba instructor . Her zumba was so energetic and mood boosting . I felt so good mentally and physically . Can we have more morning zumba classes with her . Thanks

Negative experience: Called ten times and no one answered, why don’t they put anyone in reception to answer the calls, I have a question if they don’t answer I need to go there which is far, I wanted to join but because no one answered at all it means it’s not a good place which many people mentioned in comments.❌

Negative experience: I had to wait 40 minutes for swimming time slot which doesn’t mentioned anything on their website. I went to get a cup of coffee while waiting. She said I have to pay at the main reception I had wait in the queue 10-15 minutes for payment by time I made payment my coffee was cold she had to make an other one.

Negative experience: They literally never pick up there phone ,what kinda business just ignores there phone ringing constantly and if you don’t believe me call them right now and they won’t pick up loool

Occasionally I take my daughter here and 90% of the time we regret it, the staff are inexperienced and have no clue what common decency is. Negative experience: ⛔️⛔️⛔️❌❌❌ I don't suggest you visit that place. Uncleanliness is everywhere. Staff do not clean, especially sauna, steam room and toilets. Iron Playground Anyone who gets up and leaves wet hands behind is all germs. The staff never advises anyone about cleanliness and respect for others. There are no silent signs in the sauna. You want to spend an hour but you can't. People are shouting inside and talking about unfounded things also there’s no time limit on how many people can stay inside the sauna and steam. People wear clothes and they come inside the sauna and steam which’s not right because their clothes might be dirty and have germs and bacteria. The shower handles are mostly broken and the keys not working for changing cabinet doors. When you sign up for a membership you will never be told the swimming times until after you pay and you will find out that you cannot use the swimming pool so often and it’s a few days a week very complicated timetable for others who want to use the swimming pool. I asked the manager for other issues and about fixing timetable for those who booked it during club and kids training and also for women when they want to book it for example at least open one line always when other people want to use the swimming pool. because people who is a member they have the right to use the swimming pool they’re paying for like others. And I asked her in other European countries no one complains like people complain at this Gym and then she asked me if, in other European countries, they even drink water from the pools but we don’t and we will not change this system we won’t make it better it’s like that otherwise you can cancel your membership and go somewhere else.

Negative experience: the pool is clean and the water temperature is suitable for children BUT dirty,dirt,dirty, mixed locker room for swimming pool, horribly dirty (some women should be ashamed of their behavior sanitary napkins pads thrown out in the changing rooms) toilets horribly dirty,people enter the pool area with shoes on, with all due respect but letting people in leggings t-shirt itp should be forbidden there are special swimming suits if someone is ashamed to undress to a swimsuit

Negative experience: I only ever see the car park for drop off and pickups. It gets a 2 because of the god awful parking exhibited by visitors. Or maybe it should be a 5 for entertainment value. :-)

Negative experience: To whoever is in charge, please take an initiative to train your staff in a professional and courteous manner specially the front desk as it is the face and first experience of a members and customers alike. Also hire more people of colour, that would probably improve the facility I will cancel my membership asap

Fantastic experience: Perfect, only went in for a shower after parkrun, before heading off to Heathrow.

Negative experience: Never, ever answer the phone so be prepared for disappointment when you arrive and find the online timetables are wrong, the slide is closed or they are full and you therefore can’t get in without having booked (which of course you can only do in person or on the phone - that never gets answered). Appallingly run facility

Positive experience: Swimming pool Tennis courts Green Jim Open green pastures with a joggers track for almost 5km. It also has a dedicated and well marked area for flying where you can visit and fly the miniature aeroplanes.There are specific timings which are mentioned on the board.

The one star missing is only because its like ice in the changing room and would be great if it was a bit warmer. My granddaughter started going blue on the lips so would really take that into consideration

Negative experience: Tried to visit today online timetable showing all 3 pools open and that they have a toddler area. Told the same by reception (but no mention of the toddler area) only to get in and be told by the lifeguards 1 of the pools are closed and the toddler area has been shut for years - this despite it being listed in their facilities online! Was refused a refund by reception as they do not gave the ability to refund as incredible as that sounds. Very misleading information and staff were not not very forthcoming in helping out or even acknowledging the information was wrong.

Negative experience: This swimming pool for kids is almost never open maybe 2h a day and can’t even get in because it’s too many people. I hate this place it’s my 10th attempt on going to swim it’s literally impossible there. Worthless place

Fantastic experience: My daughter attends Swimming on Saturdays stage 1 and her class got cancelled today for some reason. I had to approach reception as I was already in the centre and have to share my disappointment as this is the 2nd time with in 4-5 weeks class has been cancelled. I m so grateful to Liane who has been so helpful and considerate and went out of her way to find an alternative class for my daughter to attend today. Liane, thank you for understanding my situation and providing us with an alternative option. Much Appreciated and your customer care is absolutely commendable. This is not the first time Liane has been helpful, even in the past with other situations she has always been a great help.

Positive experience: It was good a part from waiting 1 hour to get in pool

Negative experience: The reception @ hanworth provide very poor service and unable to solve very simple issues. Some services are always broken and stinky especially in the spa area. I saw one of the female managers walking into the spa wet area with a bunch of her staff wearing their dirty shoes. There are almost no classes outside of office work hours. There is no lower back extension machine (cost £65 online) or chest seated flyers. The disable toilet is the most dirty and stinky as it can get. The feedback forms are useless as they just sit on Agnes office and she doesn't bother actioning them or contacting members. The general manger David instructed his staff that he is uncontactable for customers who pay his salary! The way this council facility is run is closest to a circus more than anything else!

Negative experience: Not very good.. I tried to call up all morning to enquire about swimming and no answer at all. Turned up as you can’t pre book online only to be turned away as it was too busy which left my young son in tears as he was excited to go swimming! Yet if they’d answer the phones in the beginning we wouldn’t have had a wasted trip and left so disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Been a customer for just over 8 years, all of my children have had & having swimming lessons. Staff are helpful and friendly, swim teachers are amazing, great communication, cafe staff friendly always serving with a smile.

Negative experience: Came In for a swim with the kids, wanted an after swim meal and drink But alas there was no oven or slushie machine have to say the ladies working the food counter were professional, apologetic, sincere and tbh they are the only reason you got any stars. Shame really

Fantastic experience: I came into the leisure centre 10.04.22 I came with my daughter and her friends (it was my daughters birthday) at 13.30, I had walked over to a lovely lady named Annette and had explained it was my daughters b’day and would be ordering food for when we come out and that it would be a big order. We both had agreed that it would be easier for me to pre pay for the food and she would have everything ready for 15.00. When I came out from my swim I walked over to the cafe and was so touched and overwhelmed with the way that Annette had gone out of her way and pushed some tables together and set all the food out so nicely for all the kids, she was so sweet and kind to all of us. She really put the cherry on top with the way she had made my daughters bday that extra special. I can’t thank her enough.. THANK YOU ANETTE!!!! The only negative I would give is that she wasn’t able to make chicken nuggets or burgers etc as she had no oven but that was NOT her fault. Thumbs up to Annette for being an absolute gem!!!! ☺️☺️☺️

Fantastic experience: I have been to hanworth swimming pool two times over the past week and I must say have been pleasantly surprised particularly with the really helpful lady(she has red hair) on the slide she was so lovely and gave the kids the confidence to eventually go down the slide on their own!! Amazing customer service !! Thank you so much.
