Fantastic experience: Helpful staff.

Positive experience: Easy Access but a bit run down

Positive experience: Tired Old School Leisure Centre. Hockey Pitch hidden around the back, alright.

Negative experience: When I got made redundant with immediate effect the management were unwilling to terminate and refund my prepaid annual membership, despite the circumstances.

Negative experience: Used to be a good place to go for sport.. its in serious decline dirty and shabby. Changing rooms were locked at 9pm so couldn't go for a shower even though it's says open until 10pm

Negative experience: Probably the roughest and dirtiest leisure I've ever used for a shower . But it was free and the water was hot

Fantastic experience: The place is clean and the staffs are friendly. Will definitely revisit again.

Negative experience: Good gym and facilities. However, they made leaving my monthly contract very difficult and required me to prove my moving of address.

Positive experience: Every time we've been, parking has been tough but the facilities and layout of the centre are great.

Positive experience: Nice clean place large car paRk only visited to go to.phycic night so can't remark on facilities

Negative experience: Blue badge spaces in car park filled with cars not displaying badges, disgusting.

Negative experience: The pool changing room is ancient and not pleasant. The pool is deep but again is an old design and the water taste bad when it accidentally goes into your mouth whilst swimming. I did not enjoy it. It needs money spent on it and redoing.

Positive experience: A bit basic but adequate. Not crowded which is a bonus. The equipment looks a bit dated but it is fine. I think not having windows drags the place down. Staff are happy to help

Negative experience: Constant issues with disabled parking and disabled changing rooms no managment policing or implementing changes roll on new leisure centre

Positive experience: Generally very good. The staff work well with at times the difficult situations they have, but overall a great time. The instructors really make it great and good community friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Lots of activities and all nice environment

Positive experience: I was turned away from this gym for a long time because of bad reviews that I have seen previously, however it is the only gym in Bingham, so I didn't have much of a choice. And I am very glad that I gave it a chance. Gym itself consists of 2 floor with weight section and all related machines, while upstairs there are treadmills and little fitness section. Its modest and yes, it is a outdated, but ut does the job. The best thing about this leisure centre is in classes. Theres so many of them and they all are so brilliant! Majority are happening in small groups, coaches are paying attention to every person. Classes are easy to book through app (available for both Android and IOS), website, by calling reception or in person. If class is full, you can be added to waiting list and you will be notified as soon as space is available. And don't forget that they have a pool as well! Overall I am very pleased with the gym. If you are interested in taking classes as well as just attending gym - this is perfect solution for you. If you are only into the gym then you might find it a little bit overpriced - membership price is £38 or £40 depending on the type of membership. But in any case I would recommend to pop in and ask for 3 day free trial - you're not losing anything!

Fantastic experience: Loads of places to work out and get fit and a quaint cafe

Negative experience: If you have another option its probably better... 2 stars is generous but 1 would be harsh. Often difficult to park (particularly during school days and parents evening), odd opening hours - closes early on Saturday and barely open over holiday periods (don't seem to acknowledge that they are in the leisure business so need to work when others aren't), loud music sometimes that bleeds through your own earphones, expensive - £38/month and I only use the gym (this may be value if you attend classes and use other facilities) but the whole place is pretty neglected. The gym is fairly well stocked for me (cardio) and never really waiting to use anything - but I only really go for the location as I would have to drive past this place to get to any other gym.

Positive experience: Wasn't too bad

Negative experience: We go here because we have no choice. Its run down and dirty, the changing rooms are gross, and it's pretty much what you would expect for a leisure centre shared with a secondary school... the pool is always cold, the viewing area windows are so dirty we can hardly see through them to see what our children are doing in their swimming lessons, and youll come out smelling like a greasy spoon if you even set foot in the cafe.

Positive experience: Good facilities, not what it once was but has been updated as best as possible. Overall still a good facility as a whole with pool, gym, sports hall and classes

Negative experience: Have been visiting this leisure centre for a year now and the advice would be: Avoid if you can! The place is absolutely filthy! I use the swimming changing rooms all the time and find the hygiene levels are appalling. Reception staff and a manager were very rude and not helpful. Showed attitude when i complained about the conditions. Toilets are disgusting ... Don't spend your money there. Instead, treat yourself to something more inviting and pleasant to be in and look at. Will be pulling out my membership and joining a friendlier team.

Negative experience: Generally it's an OK local Leisure Centre but is very dated in structure and condition. It was given a lick of paint in parts some time back but the place is well past its prime. Rushcliffe BC have over-invested in their new flagship HQ and spared nothing for their biggest town here in Bingham. The only squash court is absolutely dire which I've stopped using as often it's clear the thing is used as a "creche" for students from the attached school Toot Hill who have at times helped take the court to something reminiscent of squat. Rushcliffe BC need to sort this place out. ** Reading the many and varied reviews here it's clear the management of the place don't appear to care what is said seeing as no one has responded to one review. Management that care show they care. Not here they don't.

Fantastic experience: As a disabled person I find the Gym and support staff are very helpful. At times the Gym staff see me struggling - and come to my aid to show a way to aid me.

Positive experience: The staff are nice and it has the facilities you expect. However, family changing rooms are freezing in the winter, it’s a long walk through a labyrinth to reach the gym, and all the decor and facilities are in real need of an update to make it more welcoming and comfortable. A lick of paint and a bit of thought would go a long way.

Positive experience: The equipment is the same as when I used to go 8 years ago. But it is all kept in pretty good condition so there's nothing wrong with it. Having a shower in the gym changing room, on the other hand, is another matter. I had to request that the shower was cleaned as there was strange stuff all over the floor that resembled dryer lint that had been made wet. They cleaned it by the time I had finished buffing up my guns for the gun show... so I had a shower. Just disappointing that I had to ask it be done when the cleaning chart thing said the changing room had been checked multiple times already that day, the last being only 30 mins prior. Anyway whatever. It's a council gym and pool. Don't expect too much eh? £38pcm though...

Positive experience: Lack of family changing facilities and aesthetics are a little dated. Decent swimming facilities for children to learn and ok small cafe run in the viewing area buck lacking in cleaning and clearing of rubbish. Also evening can get very very busy in the carpark with small spaces makes difficult for child parking.

Positive experience: Needs an update and more life guards

Positive experience: The gym is well equipped with plenty of cardio machines and an area for groundwork on the upstairs, as well as a good weights and strength section downstairs. The center itself has plenty of different classes on all of which are included in the membership which is an average price. The membership also gets you access to other centers on the area which is a plus. Changing rooms could do with a spruce up as they are looking a bit dated.

Positive experience: Only use the centre for indoor football, the court is fine but you only actually get 55 minutes of the hour you pay for due to setting up times. We were only getting 50 minutes to start with but after a swift complaint it is now fine.
