Negative experience: Ok sized pool, a bit cold but was nice on a hot day. I would say it's still a bit too cold for younger ones as I took my 6 week old swimming here for the first time and it was freezing. Could only keep her in the water for about 10 minutes. My older kids liked splashing around but the slide is closed during the week on school holidays! Why?! Changing facilities are a bit outdated and the only place they had for baby changing was in the shared female room which is all well and good but I couldn't exactly take my son in there with me so we had to make do with 2 changing rooms for a family and change baby on the tiny benches or the floor... Definitely won't be going again even though they only changed £15 for a family.

Fantastic experience: AMAZ loved it only wierd part was the man that touched my toes in the pool but it was ok (im a male) ‍♂️

Negative experience: This leisure centre is in need of better funding and staffing. It has the potential to be a great place for locals to try and keep healthy but I've been disappointed by the consistent poor maintenance of the facilities. The changing areas are not kept clean and generally not very pleasant. I keep going back in the hope it will improve and also cos it's the only pool that has a flume locally. We went last week during a family swim session and the flume wasn't open. No apology or reason given. (Lack of staff?) Rushcliffe arena no slide but at least its clean.

Negative experience: Can't get in unless you book a place 24hrs beforehand. Then when booked it was lacking in staff. Water slide was not open. Will not go again.

Negative experience: The pool itself is nice, but very cold and poor lifeguards - more interested in playing on the walky talkies. The changing facilities are disgusting! They stink, could do with a jet wash and decent scrub. Haven’t changed in 20+ years

Positive experience: Just got shouted at here a week ago by a teenager lifeguard for taking a photo of my Grandson with no other kids in the vicinity. I understand why but there isn’t one sign up anywhere to say you can’t do it. PUT SIGNS UP GUYS!!!

Negative experience: I'm absolutely devastated by the lack of the reception staff never got told to book via phone I turned up to take my little boy and got told it was fully booked.ive been in a few occasions before and the cleaniness is absolutely disgusting the changing rooms have mould grime on the floor and some occasions urine on the floor I'm now going to put a formal complaint in to health safety

Fantastic experience: We used the swimming pool. A safe "beach" area leading to a shallow end for learners or non swimmers, that finally leads onto the 25-metre lane area. The flume is fun and puts a smile on everyone's face. It's a very clean environment and has proper, friendly staff too!

Negative experience: I approached the surrounding area of the vast pool, I was greeted by my fellow companion. when I was walking, an instructor shouted at me to not run (I wasn’t running) I felt a shock and slipt on a rather greasy bit of floor board and fell into the vast pool. I had no apology given to myself and I was rather very sad as he did not need to shout intensely at me. After this my companion went to ask a lifeguard something and my companion was greeted with the words of ‘sir.’ I told him my pronouns were not going as a boy my pronouns are they/them he did not follow this so my companion got quite mad and left the vast area. After that I went to get changed in a sticky hot changing room with the door Handel soaked in white stuff DONT know what it was but it was disgusting I went to another one and the floor was still sticky and hot I just got changed in the minuscule room after that I was quite hungry so I got something from the vending machine I wanted a twix and the machine was apparently broken with no sign this is not good I left the vast area and said to myself ‘’ never returning’’

Fantastic experience: The bloke on the phone made my sign up so easy and troubleshooted an issue that Rushcliffe Arena wasn’t able to fix, in 30 seconds!

Positive experience: Needs a major update to be honest. Equipment looking tired now and for the monthly membership fee, it's not good enough.

Positive experience: Went to play badminton with my family. The mid blue painted walls and white ceiling made it difficult to see the shuttle. The main hall lighting was done with uplighters along the back walls which was good but just not quite powerful enough. Nice children's swimming pool.

Fantastic experience: Went here to donate blood. Place is easy enough to find. I went in the main hall, clean and tidy but really weird lighting

Fantastic experience: Only used the swimming pool, but that's brilliant for our 2 year old. Never too busy, plenty of space and a cool slide to use. Staff are generally helpful and friendly. Parking not usually a problem

Positive experience: Staff always seem happy to help, good sized pool, gym doesn’t have the best equipment in but its ok. But please please - clean the bloody place!!! It’s really dirty in all areas especially the changing rooms!!!

Positive experience: First time swimming since 'possibly Feb '20' took my son, not at all crowded, felt very safe. Just need more hand gel in changing rooms and pool side, I had my own but not poolside as it was in my locker - fair enough I'm a bit freaked out by covid, so my issue, maybe not a problem to others, but overall impressed

Positive experience: We attend weekly for the kids swimming. It's a nice swimming pool with a beach area and a slide. There are some halls for hire and some workout rooms. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great local swimming pool. Felt clean and well run, my toddler loved the parent and child swim session. Water is a little cool but otherwise good.

Negative experience: The design of the pool out is great for babies & toddlers. The staff were friendly & helpful. But the floor & the changing rooms were very dirty, & I didnt notice any sanitizing stations.

Positive experience: Staff are always very friendly and despite it being an old outdated facility, it is usually fairly clean. Good slides and poolside temperature is never an issue.

Positive experience: Not bad in anyway and staff helpful. Seems v popular for children's parties when I visit on Sunday morning. Spin studio is great (why I go) and changing rooms for non swim need more maintenance. Parking is fine.

Fantastic experience: Facilities for smaller children are perfect, sloping training pool, small slide, little flume slide and combined changing room so you can change as a family, although changing rooms are a little small. There is a lane pool too for bigger swimmers.

Positive experience: Brilliant local swimming pool. The slide is good but not too fast for the kids. The pool and lifeguards are also some of the best I’ve been/spoke to, lessons are also very good for the kids but sometimes a bit dirty

Fantastic experience: Great prices, good facilities, friendly staff. One of the best leisure centres within the Nottingham area. Unlike other locations, the pool here is perfectly warm, has a functional slide and is also a more interesting shape. Plenty of fun for the family and serious swimmers alike!

Positive experience: A bit tired now but is staffed and frequented by real people who know the values of a good morning greeting and a smile, compared to Rushcliffe arena where the staff pretty much ignore you, could do with the drains and fruit flies sorting out and a refurb but is my pool of choice when swimming in the sea is not an option

Positive experience: The place is a no-nonsense, cheap local leisure centre with decent but nothing fancy facilities. My personal favourite is the swimming pools - it has an indoor slide. Now you may not get excited about it but take kids there and they will love it. Younger kids can go with a parent, good family fun. The swimming pool has a very shallow part, for toddlers, then a deeper part (0.75m) for bigger kids to play in during family swimming hours and a proper swimming pool for swimming in. The lockers work with a 50p coin, so don't forget to take one with you, but you can get it back when you unlock your locker.

Fantastic experience: Kids really love going swimming here slid is great fun and they have inflatables out but you have to check the times for that and the older children have great fun on that and the staff are on the ball watching the kids to make sure they do not get in to difficulties when playing and swimming

Positive experience: Been swimming here for 14 years, great pool for kids too with a flume and shallow area and small slide for under 6. Pool party's are allocated a seperate room for you to bring food. Lockers are 50p that is returned. Changing cubicles and changing rooms exist. Showers are good. Car park can fill up on some occasions but parking on street is possible.

Fantastic experience: We moved our daughter's swimming lessons here as the times of the lessons at Rushcliffe Arena don't suit our schedule. Well, I can tell you we'll not go back to Rushcliffe Arena anytime soon as it's so much better here.classes are better organised and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Our daughter's swim instructor Simone is great with the kids, knows how to get the best out of them and really pushes them to do better. She gets in the pool when she thinks someone is struggling and explains what she is looking for them to improve on in order to progress. It lacks a cafe and the car park is a little small (there's few empty spaces at peak times), but overall it's a very good little centre.

Negative experience: A dump. Pool is cold and the changing rooms a dirty and dilapidated.
