Pompey Health & Fitness Club: Opinions
Fantastic experience: I joined just over a year ago following encouragement from a friend member. I had been out of work for six months and due to my previous employment and other factors, my mental health was pretty bashed. My physical health will always need working on. My friend gave me a guest pass and after the first visit I joined. The reasons being as follows :- A warm and genuine welcome ( no prejudging on size, age etc) Wonderful facilities which are always clean or being cleaned. Great and inclusive classes with wonderful staff ( May I please highlight Bev specifically), so encouraging and good fun. The generic and demographic mix of members. ( Everyone fits in). I can honestly say my mental health, self worth and self esteem plus some physical changes and benefits were restored, and that is all credit to your staff and wonderful facilities. Re classes. They are very popular so it pays to book ahead as far as you can. Even trying to book early they are sometimes full but there is a waiting list system which helps. The pool is fairly small and sometimes overcrowded, it just depends on the time of day. Gym facilities are great and you can book an induction session to get you going or book mentoring sessions. With various membership options, like rolling monthly membership you are not tied into a yearly contract.
Fantastic experience: By far the best health and fitness centre I have belonged to. Quality equipment and facilities. Friendly and great classes on offer. The app with a variety of workouts etc..is a bonus Highly recommend
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this gym and I have been a member at this gym for over 5 years now and the facilities at this place are soo good and the staff always ho above and beyond to make your experience the best, excellent customer service and a special thank you to Mykela she deserves a 5 star review in itself for always looking after the gym members and responding to thier every needs. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family 5star review and rating
Negative experience: Terrible. Increased membership massively by 10% last year then 20% this year! I posted on their Facebook page but they deleted the comments and blocked me so obviously trying to hide this from potential new members. If you are thinking of joining I would avoid them unless you want repeated, over inflated price increases.
Positive experience: Really this gym is massively let down by the unavailability of classes. For the last year members have repeatedly fed back how difficult it is to get places on classes, particularly the wellness classes. It’s never been resolved and I regularly go many weeks unable to get one a class. If you like the gym floor, this gym is fine. If you’re after classes, go elsewhere as here is a waste of money.
Negative experience: The phone service at the reception was awful you got cut off after several rings .
Fantastic experience: My sister had a 3 day pass so joined her for a work out. We visited around 4pm, there were plenty of machines available as it was not busy
Negative experience: Noncey behaviour from the front desk and refused entry after allowing me (underage) for the prior 3 weeks.
Negative experience: I should have posted before. In 2020, I had a battle with the club over membership cancellation, and was threatened with debt collectors and court. I went to the press, and the club gave way. The following year, the same happened to my son. There was another battle, and again threats of being taken to court. Long story, but we didn't give in. It was nasty. Sleepless nights. However, we won. I see there are other similar accounts. Do not trust this club, when you hand in your termination notice. They claim they haven't received it. It happens with monotonous regularity, so much so, that I wonder if there should be a TV programme made about it. #postofficescandal
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff at reception and cafe. Lovely clean, light and airy pool with the added luxury of a steam room and jacuzzi. Sometimes busy at adults swimming times but not so as you would notice. A good place to join!
Positive experience: A lovely pool with good facilities. Shame that membership is so expensive, it is probably worth the cost but out of reach for my pocket
Fantastic experience: above and beyond customer service, top tier hot chocolate from sam, extra points for garnish, would give 6 stars if i could :)
Fantastic experience: Nice and spacious gym, cool swimming pools and children swimming lessons are done. Receptionist was very nice and courteous
Fantastic experience: Took my son to his first swimming lesson on 25th Feb, receptionist was very efficient and friendly and facilities were very new and clean. The swimming teacher was also very friendly and my son warmed to her immediately which is saying something for him! Overall it was a very positive experience of a very lovely leisure centre.
Fantastic experience: I often use the swimming pool at the club and I love them! The pool is warm and kept to a very high standard. The changing rooms are always spotless and the staff are very helpful and friendly! They offer great classes for children learning to swim also. Would highly recommend
Fantastic experience: I would like to mention that this gym is by far the best gym to go to and the staff there are also exceptional. I would particularly like to mention that Julia one of the staff members who is a lifeguard was very kind and helpful, was very approachable in a situation and helped and assisted me with whatever I asked her for promptly. I would definitely give her a five star review.
Fantastic experience: Spin class at 6:30am was brilliant
Fantastic experience: I love this place look forward to every visit ( nearly every day now) the staff are friendly and always welcoming the gyms great the pool clean And I enjoy chilling in the lounge area after a session thank you all so much
Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym, lovely pool, well looked after spa. Membership is expensive but worth it.
Negative experience: I have been at this gym (when it was Roko) for over a year and just cancelled my membership. It was a good gym, very underwhelming classes but overall nothing to complain about. They just underwent a refurbishment of the gym and the customer service during this month of closure has been absolutely shocking. They tried to charge a £5 fee to suspend my membership when it was closed, to which I sent several emails protesting against and were all ignored, instead responded to with generic blanket emails which weren’t even relevant to what I’d been saying. They did at least not charge me that, however I have since also sent emails about cancelling my membership since I wasn’t happy about the customer service, which also were ignored and answered with generic irrelevant replies! The lack of response and customer service has been really shocking and everyone I know who attends is having a similar experience, you expect more considering the cost of this gym. It’s unprofessional.
Positive experience: ** UPDATE ** The gym has recently undergone a complete refurb. Some of the works are still going on so not 100% sure what the final outcome will be. All the new cardio machines are excellent. Rowers are not as low to the ground which makes it easier for my old frame to get on and off them. Running machines have an excellent feature where you can preset different speeds and switch between them at the push of a button - superb for interval training. Free weights area is okay, could do with a few more benches but this may happen as the refurb progresses. Resistance machines are also good, would like a few more such as tricep extension but all are flashy and new. Looking forward to seeing it fully completed but enjoying the new gear.
Negative experience: Honestly… where to start. (1 star is generous) Firstly, I’d like to say that myself and members of my family have been at Roko for 10+ years. The spa was closed for an extended period (over 18 months and before Covid started) with no reduction in monthly membership rate. Communication was awful during this period, maybe an email from management once every few months. The new spa which has now been relocated to the pool area is ridiculous and appears that no thought has been put into the design. For example, despite the spa being a “no under 16” area, the jacuzzi is literally two steps from the childrens splash pool. There are no showers in the immediate area to wash after being in the sauna and steam room. No water dispenser to top up water bottles. You can’t make this stuff up. Locker rooms also under refurbishment and have been since the beginning of June. Barely enough space for 8 people to get changed. Furthermore, the remaining squash court is being closed with less than two weeks notice. Members given the option of “leave or deal with it”. Also, the squash wall has a huge chunk missing in the centre which makes it difficult to play, the management couldn’t even be bothered to do a simple patch up job for the members that use the court. Gym equipment severely outdated and machines constantly broken for extended periods of time. Do not sign up to this gym. Multiple better options in Portsmouth.
Negative experience: Very bad management. Been paying for the last 2 years for hardly anything to use! The swimming pool was shut. Sauna and Jacuzzi shunted before covid happened! And I actually been paying for the whole time and they wanted to raise my membership price! Ridiculous
Negative experience: Website doesn’t work, like the worst website I’ve ever seen, out of the 80s! Classes are not showing on the website. No App to book classes.
Negative experience: Disappointing customer services. Emails are not signed off by individuals so have no idea who you communicating with. Facilities looks tired even though they are "making big improvements under new management". Staff on the gym floor are hardly ever around or playing on their phones. Classes such as body pump or spin are impossible to get into unless you book a week in advance and are online as the booking opens. Being waitlisted is a pointless feature as they usually only phone an hour or so before the class starts. Needs a lot of operational improvement.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff and great facilities. <3 this place!
Positive experience: A lot of changes going on since the take over! I don’t use the gym facilities so couldn’t comment on them! I come too ROKO too access the amazing Hope Physio team!
Fantastic experience: Great !
Negative experience: Pool, sauna steam room been closed for the longest time but no reduction on membership fees. Management do not deal with complaints effectively and certain staff are a royal pain. *been a paying member here for 5years+
Fantastic experience: Really happy with my first experience. Fun and energetic class. I will definitely come back.
Positive experience: Roko Health Club is looking tired and needs serious investment. In early December I reported a light blub out in the changing rooms. First visit back today. The light bulb hadn't been replaced and another light bulb adjacent to it was out. The showers and toilets could do with a deep clean. Steps in the swimming pool are still missing, the other ones are loose and the pace clock is still not working. A hot tub, steam room and sauna will not be available until at least May 2022, they were last working in June of this year.
Fantastic experience: I've been using Roko for a few months now & am very happy with the amenities... it's got a great gym, never gets too crowded & the staff are friendly.
Fantastic experience: Nice place
Negative experience: I am not a member but creating a 3 month notice period for a gym is ridiculous. Especially if no contracts are formally sent out. If someone gives you 2 months notice due to no longer going post covid closures and you change your ownership and management that should be acceptable unless all members were sent new contracts.
Negative experience: It's been closed for ages this needs to be updated
Fantastic experience: Can't really give any details on facilities and activities as I was working there but staff were very friendly and helpful it looked clean and inviting Bill Horrell
Positive experience: Lovely time venue good but have to say they should of had more staff serving the drinks poor lady was rushed off her feet and we only had 4 hours there
Fantastic experience: Great place, gym is quiet each time I have been. Great equipment and decent members too. Nice
Positive experience: Great service by Friendly staff. Good selection of gym equipment.
Negative experience: 5 a side football pitches closed permanently.
Negative experience: wasn't open
Fantastic experience: 5 a side football, gym, swimming, there is all you need for your daily activity plus big parking and disability friendly.
Positive experience: Roko health club has a ton of parking, modern gym equipment and friendly staff. There are a number of classes you can book and have good changing facilities and a pool. They do swimming lessons for young kids and while the viewing area isn't the best, the instructors are great and my boys really enjoy going.
Negative experience: Does the job but if you are expecting a warm shower then best look elsewhere as the boiler constantly breaks and then there is no hot water. I'm not sure if it's classed as a premium private health club, more like leisure centre, however there is a good amount of equipment with lots of space. I mainly use the pool which is good. The other thing I would moan about is the standard of the changing rooms. Very dated and cold and not what I'd expect for a private health club, if that's what it's meant to be marketed as.
Positive experience: The lights are very poor and the playing surface is quite bad as well.
Negative experience: Been a member here for nearly 2 years now. The service is alright but nothing special and so wanted to cancel in December due to not really using the facilities. I initially sent in an email in December to cancel but I was told that this wasn’t acceptable and that you had to write a letter or come down in person which is fair enough. I then wrote in a letter to give my 3 months notice. In March I realised that I hadn’t had a response and so I went into the club to discuss. I was told that my cancellation hadn’t been received and that I would have to wait a further 3 months to cancel. I was not happy with this and after explaining this with the sales team it was agreed I could cancel my membership with one months notice. No more payments came out my bank after this however in June they started up again. When I went into the club to discuss this I was told that I couldn’t speak to a manger because they were never in and that due to COVID I had to pay a further 3 months notice. I was told all I could do was email the club manager which I have done but still haven’t had a response at all. Now they are still taking my money and even had the cheek to threaten me with sending debt collectors to my address when I cancelled my DD. At this point i have now been trying to cancel my membership since December and they are now just ignoring any attempt to contact but are still happily taking my money. Absolutely disgusting customer service and avoid at all costs. Complete daylight robbery.
Fantastic experience: I've been a member since it opened but not been back since beginning of March. So had a tour round to see how covid safe they were as feel ready to go back, was very impressed and hoping to start back soon ♀️
Negative experience: Giving one star as zero stars not possible. Rude, unhelpful management. Unhygienic and outright dirty facilities. I was a member for six years and over this time saw little to no improvement in either the staff or facilities. Continuously broken equipment and out of order spa area. Avoid at all costs.
Negative experience: Long time was member. Never have seen cleaner in spa area. People can't read the signs. Entering in jakuzi straight from sauna. Thinking to quit and find other...
Fantastic experience: Been using the gym for some time now , the staff are always polite & the Costa coffee is a great place to meet & catch up with friends , great location , the reviews from other people are reflective of the spa some times , as it does need a refresh , but when it works it’s good.
Positive experience: Music too loud.and cold
Negative experience: Very unhelpful staff. 1 year contracts at a time. Unhelpful with cancellation. Due to job change and moving out the area. Have to go in to cancel. Unable to travel to destination are more than happy to keep taking your money. Over priced and over rated. Avoid this gym at all cost. No customer care.unclean very dirty gym
Negative experience: Very disappointed. Not what I expected. Jacuzzi always dirty or out of order. Equipment broken for weeks. Poor customer service
Positive experience: We attended an evening function here, a 30th birthday party. The bar was small but adequate and reasonably well stocked. The food and music was provided by outside agents so not relevant to this review. Unable to comment on the centre facilities as we didn't use any of them, the swimming pool looked good though. I was particularly disappointed that a member of the centre staff seemed to be abusing the nearest disabled parking bay, especially so as I arrived with a wheelchair user!!!
Negative experience: I joined Roko Portsmouth on a 3 month membership. There are a number of things I was disappointed with (poor gym induction, spa facilities often out of order or in need of cleaning, arrogant and unwelcoming class teacher). The admin side is particularly bad though. My partner and I were initially mislead about our contracts. The membership manager Dale was actually really passive aggressive towards my partner who had also joined which was the final nail in the coffin with regards us not renewing our memberships. Would recommend going somewhere else to get fit where your membership is valued.
Negative experience: Very dirty place not recomend
Fantastic experience: I joined the Club a bit more than a week ago. All I can say it's amazing. All the people are very friendly and helpful. The classes are great and the instructors are amazing. I love to swim. The pool is not large but it's not too busy so it's great for swimming. The spa area and the changing room is nice and clean. I am so glad to join this club.
Negative experience: I'm so disappointed with thier service Horrible customer service Misinforming people so the can join there gym I was made to join the gym by 2 staff members, they advised that I join the gym at a cheaper package which will last me for a year. I remember very well a staff explaining that this package would cover myself and son for the year even if my son turns 16 years. I was reassured by these Roko staff member that this will not be affected even after my son turns 16 years. The lady strongly advised me to join before my son turns 16 so that he is covered for thd whole year. Got a call and informed that my son was not permitted to enter the gym because the membership does not cover him after 16 years. They were asking me to pay £29 extra This is ridiculous, their marketing team are fraudster Be careful guys.......
Negative experience: Updated review: In addition to facilities being out of action for months with no reduction in membership fees, there is now a full gym and class closure for 5 weeks. No offer of reduced membership, if you want to pause your membership for a month there is a fee which is not being waved. Under the circumstances reduction of service, with no reduction of membership fee and charging to suspend membership for the period of reduced service… There must be legal implications and president for this unfair treatment of members. I will update and moderate this review if a suitable responses is received from management. I will add the current response experienced by a few members from management so far has been like it or leave, oh and we won’t put your membership up for 12 months… This is not customer service focussed, or fair and suitable management of a loyal and now I am sure will now be a waining member base.
Negative experience: Very bad costumer service! I am very disappointed with the service we have received. My partner and myself have moved location so handed in a letter explaining this in October. We were told we would receive an email to confirm. Unfortunately we have not received anything so contacted the gym. My partner finally spoke to the right person today who said they have not received our letters. Due to this we have to send in another letter and pay for another extra 2 months due to the staff error. Very disappointed. The gentleman was also very rude on the phone. What happened to the customer is always right? Very disappointed and cannot find any head office details to complain too.
Negative experience: Was given a free week trial for my partner and myself and turned up to use the pool. After being shown around we were very impressed and were thinking of actually becoming members, that was until finishing in the pool. I went into the men’s changing room and got a shower and changed then stood outside the disabled changing room for my partner, 10 minutes later still no sign of her so I went out to the cafe to wait only to see my partner standing at the side of the pool with her crutches freezing cold. It turns out that a bloke and his missus decided to use the disabled changing room together to get their kids sorted hence locking the door to the changing room stopping my partner from getting her clothes. No sign on the door to say this was a disabled and family changing room or she wouldn’t have left her clothes in the locker in the room.
Negative experience: Worst customer service, I have ever experienced. Will never recommend to friends.
Fantastic experience: Great gym squash and pool facilities. Very friendly staff who really do their best to make each visit an enjoyable one. Shout out to Alan who is a credit to the club easiest 5 stars ever
Positive experience: The Gym is nice, good ambient and lots of space. there is lots of Fitness Equipment such treadmills and so on. You also can Swim or play Squash. It all depends of your use actually , the prices are around 39 quid per month on 12 months contract and if you need to cancel you need to give them 3 months notice what is not so good. about the equipment they are new and well maintained I just do not give them 5 stars because I thinks they could provide more Equipment Variety instead of those treadmills that no one uses. But is a good place to workout . Plenty of shower area and toilet space. the pool is good and not too busy.
Positive experience: I joined at the beginning of the month and was quite taken with the whole set up of the centre - it's great because it's on my way back home from work too. I've had sterling support at my time at the gym and took up personal training sessions which are really enjoyable. I found that I have received support from other personal trainers which is a really nice bonus. I can't fault this at all. I am a great lover of swimming. I really like this pool as it's dimmed and I appreciate that after hours in harshly lit office light. The times that I've been able to go swimming I have thoroughly enjoyed my time there. However (and this is a big however for me) I have come in twice this week to find that the main pool has no lanes so I'm not able to swim. The lane swimming and adults only are at obscure times where I don't have the time to access so I can only go on the weekends - for adults only which is preferable that means coming in rather early or late. Both are not ideal for a weekend to rest. My other gripe with the centre is that the women's changing rooms always seem to be filled with screaming children. I have nearly tripped over a couple of them running about and one child pushed the door shut so I couldn't access the changing rooms until the mum came to leave. I wouldn't mind children being in there if they behaved but a majority of time they aren't. A family changing area would be a good solution. Overall; I'm glad I joined - particularly for the gym. But the centre is child-centric and not very accommodating towards child-free adults.
Negative experience: poor sales service. cheating customer. still charging the money when the membership has finished. will report to the trading stander about the horrible service. The worst sales service experience i have ever had.
Fantastic experience: Lots of health here
Positive experience: The gym has some nice new equipment, and some of the staff are really friendly and helpful. However, there is a general problem with cleanliness in the changing rooms. The showers are not regularly cleaned and smell. Unpleasant members also dump old shampoo bottles in the showers, and weird plastic shower caps, which have been used to moisturise hair. This is so inconsiderate as there is a bin just outside the shower area. I would say, in general, that there is a growing population of members who disrespect the club, and do not abide by decent standards of etiquette. Whilst trying to enjoy a swim with my young nephew last week, an uncontrolled child caused an unpleasant atmosphere in the main pool by constantly banging a long float up and down on the water. This caused a constant irritating noise, and stopped us swimming in the main pool, as it scared my nephew. Whilst the child misbehaved, a woman accompanying him, who was sat next to the pool on a bench, did nothing about his behaviour. Roko really needs to crack down on individuals like this as they are ruining the club for other members. Maybe a lifeguard is needed in the pool to ask such people to stop, or if they can't, then eject them?
Negative experience: Strange offers and prices which make this fitness centre awkward and not useful.
Fantastic experience: Best gym in our area with top class equipment and the nicest staff you could ask for. Always smiling and always ready to help if you need it. I would highly recommend to all. I've always found it clean and tidy But.... the best bit apart from the Jacuzzi, sauna, steam roomsports massage personal trainers & massage is..... I do so love my morning greets from the lovely & beautiful girls at reception. Best start to any day
Fantastic experience: Great Staff, great club all round great!
Negative experience: It said on website that timetable might be different when it's actually closed. Please, next time make sure you say people if it's no open
Fantastic experience: Football bit is great and never really busy even in the summer.
Positive experience: Pool always empty and clean..Love the newly refurnished Ladies changing rooms.Spa Area could be cleaner. Aqua Aerobics Class is great but Body Pump too overcrowded to be safe….Spa area could be cleaner…
Negative experience: Stay away from this gym. The staff is rude, they do not care about you. Personal trainers are a joke. You won't get any useful info out of them. And, be aware that you need to tell them 3 months before to get you off their contract. If you need help with something from staff, good luck. Go to reception and ask nicely, maybe they'll send somebody eventually. NO NO NO. you don't want this gym.
Negative experience: The club was good the personal trainers very helpful, however I was totally mis-sold my membership, was told I was in a 3 month agreement with 30 day terms after 3 months continuous membership only to find out I now have to give 3 months notice. This is a shocking way to boost review and I will advise any potential customer to think twice before joining or at least read the T&C's properly.
Negative experience: I'm a member at this gym and have been for years. I do love it but the whole place needs a massive deep clean! And I mean the whole place especially the spa area because it's disgusting and the fact we all pay good money to be members we should at least have a clean gym surely that's not much to ask for?
Negative experience: ROKO Gym Portsmouth has gone downhill steadily over a number of years. * The 'manager' should have a look at Puregym North Harbour and take back a few tips on what a good gym looks like * It is shabby and dirty *Some gym users are allowed to work-out still in their filthy dirty work-clothes that contaminate benches & other equipment. One guy still comes in as he has done for years covered in paint & plaster and nobody bats an eyelid. * The equipment is poorly maintained and checks are not done properly * The free weights area is tiny compared to Puregym * Long-term loyal members concerns and ideas are disregarded * The 'senior' trainer is a misery and has no idea how to relate to people * It is biased toward Cardio equipment and a lot of the good weight machines have been removed e.g. pec decks & tricep machines * There are no mirrors in front of the squat racks even though promised a year ago and there is no Olympic platform for deadlifting * Dumbbells are misused by gym staff to prop up structural repairs * There are too many children that faff around and get in the way of serious gym users * Safety pins on some of the seated weight machines have been missing for years * The lower level trainers are misused as cleaners and general odd-jobbers instead of getting the right people for the right job *Not value for money at £39.99 compared to puregym at 18.99 (unless you want to share a spa with sweaty fat people who still believe they can sweat their fat off!) *Time to repair defective equipment is 2-3 weeks. So not a very good Service Level Agreement (SLA) between Roko & Life Fitness. (That's even supposing the gym staff have noticed anything wrong. And that's an issue of poor management & leadership.) Therefore I'm out
Fantastic experience: Iv been a member for a while and although the club has had problems previously (as you can see from previous feed back) I believe that since I have been there the club has improved. The Club has new management staff and new operations manager. She Approached me in reception last week as I had raised a complaint previously, she wanted to let me know about the improvements they are making and have done! They have changed the management team, employed a new cleaning company, spending money on new equipment and showers not to mention the improvements to the club for the arrival of Portsmouth FC. I am very excited about the improvements. I’m feeling that my loyalty in now going to be rewarded and I hope that others will see the benefits too!! The club will always have complaints, that’s life, but it really is a good health club with a great future…. Be apart of it..
Positive experience: I joined Roko in January with my husband, our first gym membership ever so we were pretty excited. We were told that there would be new equipment arriving very soon which had individual t.v.s. It was months before these arrived and when they did, the equipment was not connected to the FitLinxx facility which monitors your progress. As mentioned in a previous review, the changing rooms are used for family use which is totally inappropriate, parents who have a family pass should have a separate changing room so others do not have to put up with the stares, screams and tantrums from peoples kids. On my last visit to the gym, the women in the changing room had to tolerate a mother and her child who were using the disabled changing room, screaming at each other with the child kicking the door; this is completely unacceptable for others to have to endure. It is rare to get into the swimming pool without there being children having lessons or it being family time, the lane markers should also be removed to open up the pool, it is a nightmare when trying to swim whilst they are in place if there are even just half a dozen people in the pool. The spa facilities, well when everything is working it's ok at best. Broken sunbeds "fixed" with tape, a jacuzzi that has goodness knows what floating around the bottom of it, most likely people's dead skin, whatever it is, it is vile and dirty. There is always a lot of water on the spa floor and pretty much every time I have been in there, somebody slips, it is only a matter of time before someone breaks a bone, it is completely dangerous. Unless Roko make some radical changes in the next few months, I doubt I will be renewing my membership.
Fantastic experience: I've been a member for a few months now and am really pleased with the facilities and the staff are very friendly. The gym is a very good size and there are usually plenty of machines available, even at busy times. The swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room are all great and whenever I'm there its always pretty quiet which is nice. I've also used the squash courts a few times and its not too expensive to bring a non member. Looking forward to trying out the tennis courts in the summer!
Negative experience: the pool is always full of too many little kids! probably because they sell swimming lessons as extra to gym membership - so boost their profits - suit families with little kids - stuff the rest of us who want to swim
Negative experience: Everything you could want in a gym... except customer service from the new management team.
Negative experience: There is no pricelist on their website. You MUST either call them or go there to find out. (Probably there is no more space on their website to write.)
Negative experience: New customers get 4 week membership for £40. Existing loyal contract customers get 1 month for £50. Where's the logic? Poor sales/customer service! Managers excuse was that 4 weeks is not 1 month. Pathetic
Positive experience: I'm not impressed at all. Staff was not very helpful. They were talking with each other, without taking care of the clients, who were there for first time. Also, the hygiene is below low, because as I said, the staff was constantly laughing and talking, instead of actually of working.
Fantastic experience: its very nice
Fantastic experience: I love this place. It has a very nice feel to it, not too big, not too small. Staff are great, lounge is nice, nice pool and lots of new equipment in the gym. I just need to use it more than I do
