Positive experience: I only attended a a spectator for my granddaughters swimming lesson, but it seemed fine

Positive experience: I read the reviews for this pool and was reluctant to go re the cleanliness comments. I was pleasantly surprised. Great slide for kids, good sized pools and will certainly be going back.

Positive experience: I’ve been swimming on and off at this pool for over a year now and I’m really sad to say it just isn’t a great spot for me anymore. There are a few systems I find really difficult to get on board with, the pre booking of swimming on an app makes it super difficult for non tech savvy people to access the leisure services, I understand it’s a busy place but having some walk in reservations would be a good idea. The poolside itself really isn’t up to cleanliness standards of other pools in bristol and there seems to be decades of uncleaned spaces in the changing rooms which is not very pleasant. Why does horfield’s ‘everyone active’ centre have so much flash and new facilities when Easton really needs a revamp for the local community who need it most!! No evening lane swimming here for the public which is also difficult for most people who want to stay active and work. All in all there are other pools in bristol I would rather swim in but many of the details in this review could be solved by the center and organisation. Would love to see this place thriving again.

Negative experience: Staff can be rude, changing facilities are filthy, the whole place smells of wee.

Negative experience: Pool area is rather disgusting with a lot of grime and hair. It does not look as though it is cleaned effectively. Surprised that both times I have visited, the individuals were rude and showed unwillingness to help. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: 25m pool which goes to 2m deep, and fun children’s pool as well. The slide is great fun!

Positive experience: There is a stain of grime round the wall in the swimming pool. The workouts are good and there is variety of them and times.

Negative experience: Overall great place but I was quite surprised there was no water fountain which is quite unusual for a sports centre. Pool is grimy, much worse than what is shown in the photos and always smells of urine. Much prefer horfield but it is currently under construction work.

Fantastic experience: My son, who has additional needs, had his first swimming lesson with Josh. Very kind and patient, absolutely brilliant! recommended

Positive experience: Real hub for the community across ages. Swimming, circuits, gym badminton lots to get involved with for your fitness. Downside is parking can be tricky due to busy area.

Negative experience: I was kicked out of the gym as my boots were deemed unsuitable, which is strange as they are actually safer to lift weights in as theres more protection. If i was wearing flip flops or sandals, I'd understand. I won't be renewing my membership, and the centre has now lost a custermer over being pedantic. Good job guys.

Negative experience: Poor quality centre, poor management, dirty. Customer service is appalling.

Positive experience: Such a shame that it's so grubby - a really nice pool with lovely staff but the grime is getting unbearable

Fantastic experience: The staff are brilliant - friendly and very helpful and take the time to explain things and help me when needed. The visitors to the centre that I have met in the gym and classes are also friendly and I have never been made to feel awkward or embarassed about my abilities to take part in activities.

Negative experience: Was fun at first spending time with my son however had to cancel membership as the centre are happy to let selfish lane swimmers take over the family fun time don't seem bothered to stop this so after my son being kicked twice I thought best to leave before it escalated , told staff they didn't seem bothered ,wouldn't bother swimming here

Positive experience: Decent gym very good classes, circuits bodypump and indoor cycling plus a friendly atmosphere makes it a great place to go mad for the fitness

Positive experience: Get traumatised walking past this Planet Fitness of the UK. Used to go here for swimming lessons as a kid. Most of the instructors were so condescending, rude and very corporal in their teaching methodology. I'm sure it's changed now but it left a bad taste in my mouse. Plus the slide never was operational in the kids' pool, EVERY. TIME. WE. WENT.

Positive experience: Incredible local resource! Some wonderful swim teachers, notably Julie who is a wonderful, patient, kind human being! It's a shame it's a bit grubby, could do with a major deep clean, or a renovation!!?

Positive experience: Once in pool it's perfect for kids. Could be alot cleaner. Staff friendly would of been handy to know before entering the changing room that lockers only accept tokens. Slight pain as we didn't realise until we went to pop everything in locker after getting changed and with two babies. Definitely perfect for family swimming, pool was warm enough for baby and toddler loved the slide. Just remember need a token for locker

Fantastic experience: Love it here so much. The staff are friendly and it feels like an amazing community. They always have a nice quiet radio in the background which I really appreciate. Affordable and central. If you come into the centre they usually have some sort of new members/joining deal on the board in reception. When the centre is at full capacity, it never feels too busy, which I've felt at a lot of other swimming pools.

Positive experience: The facility is well-maintained, with a gym, a swimming pool, and yoga classes. The staff are friendly and helpful, creating a pleasant environment. I would recommend this leisure center for its range of services and welcoming atmosphere

Fantastic experience: Great local pool. Swam here as a child and now bring my childeren to swim. Full points for nostalgia and holding it sown s a community pool. Oh and the kids love the slide that opens on the weekend.

Positive experience: It was decent, there were facilities like changing room, locker, but the pools could have been a bit more wormer.

Fantastic experience: We had our son's birthday party in the kids pool. We had a big group of kids, with lots of parents joining in too. We got exclusive use of the slide, which the kids (and adults) loved! Afterwards we had an hour in the party room, and put on our own party food and music. The leisure centre staff were great, and the kids had a really fun party. Recommended to other parents looking for a fun, active, and affordable party option!

Positive experience: Car park was on the smaller side and some spaces were quite tight. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. I used the swimming pool which was more expensive than some others but not by that much. Changing rooms were clean but it did have a smell of wee. The pool was very cold but had plenty of room and wasn’t over booked.

Positive experience: Went here to play badminton. The courts were not very clean and for some reason they don’t have a water fountain near the sports hall. They made us go to the taps in the bathroom to refill water bottles. Very odd for a sports centre. At least we had a good time playing badminton which was the reason for our visit.

Negative experience: They don't always answer the phone, they don't have timetables on their website, and their app is rubbish. The pool is fine if you manage to get in.

Positive experience: really friendly leisure centre with a diverse mix of people. It feels very tolerant. Yes, it is a bit battered looking but most things work and I find it clean. My one gripe is the music in the swimming pool! This drives me a bit nuts as I'm not good in noisy, echoey environments. I'd love if they would make some of the lane swims "quiet swim" times.

Positive experience: Bookings required for 1hr slots. Mainly used for swimming lessons (1/2 hr) but during Holiday Terms the slide can be used by everybody. Water is warm but recommended neoprene for small kids/babies. Parents/carers can swim in the big pool while their toddler/small kid are having their swimming lessons if the big pool is not beign used for swimming lessons. Parents/carers can use the grades to whatch their children during swimming lessons too. The showers/changing rooms need some maintenance but generally ok. Warm water. The normal hair dryers are in the toilets/changing rooms opposite to the lunch area for security reasons. Some expending machines available. Professional and nice staff.

Positive experience: Fairly clean, great hot showers, nice pool although wish you could use both sections during family swims! Slide seems like it's barely on.

Positive experience: Big pool for regular swimming and a small pool with beach entrance for learners and younger kids. There is a slide for small pool attendees only. It's only on over the weekends and not all sessions. Changing rooms with lockers. Hot showers. Booking adviser, although the website is a living Hellscape. 11 year old says "water is a bit too cold on the big pool" however, we've never had to get out early!

Positive experience: Staff not too helpful and not friendly Water in the swimming pool (big pool) very dirty. You will see the dirtiness under the water. Toilet and the changing rooms not being cleaned regularly and the flooring was not hosed down with water in between sessions. Cleaning was poor, smelly urine in the toilet and changing rooms. Management needs to look into the cleaning process and condition. However, excellent and very friendly swimming instructors in the Centre mainly Ali! Also, a young man with a long hair life guard was really very attentive keeping his eyes on swimmers and saw him immediately acted upon something/someone to help.

Positive experience: A cheap place to play squash however the sounds of fan in the squash area is too noisy

Fantastic experience: Two sports halls and activities going on all day. Large sports events Basketball and Football or Badminton and Squash.

Fantastic experience: Good gym and swimming pool. Friendly staff and patrons. They have everything I need to work out, relax and do yoga with Saeed who is a true expert.

Negative experience: Been with this centre for about a month. Classes and instructors are great but the customer service is shocking. The reception team always seem unsure of how to answer questions and whenever an issue is raised they are quick to blame the customer rather than providing a solution. Almost every week an incorrect charge had been added to my account due to a lack of information being shared during my sign up. I would definitely end my membership if it wasn't for the quality of the classes I have experienced so far and the fact there is a pool on site.

Positive experience: I found it to be very peaceful during the time I spent there. Went for an early morning swim before starting work. Very clean, pool was warmer than I had expected. Lockers are plentiful and can store a decent amount. Cubicles are quite spacious, and the shower tap runs both hot and cold. Other visitors I came across had been membership for many years. Vast array of activities are available to choose from. Staff when needed are very helpful.

Negative experience: The worst leisure centre in the UK? No security, was once accosted by some random drunk guy after finishing on the squash courts. The place looks like it hasnt had any money spent on it since 1985. Nobody answers the phone. The vending machines dont work.

Negative experience: Almost impossible to book a slot because they hardly have any public swimming sessions on each day. And then even if you do get a slot it's overcrowded and impossible to train properly. Swimming pools in other cities manage to put on public swimming almost all day, and you can just wander in and swim without booking. Why can't everyoneactive in Bristol manage this?

Positive experience: A convenient leisure centre in East Bristol offers comprehensive sporting facilities.

Negative experience: Pros: central location and great and experienced fitness instructors, specially in yoga and cardio. Cons: the reception staff won't move a finger for you unless is really necessary, the swimmingpool is impossible to book and dirty, and please if you have a bit of vertigo, do not take their outdated lift to the gym floor

Fantastic experience: Had my son’s 10th Birthday here and hired the small pool and slide. It was amazing, the kids all had the best time, the staff were friendly, helpful and made the party extra fun and so stress free for me. The deputy manager answered all my questions and explained everything before and during the event. The pool and whole place was very clean and tidy, I highly recommend and all the children said it was there most fun pool party they had ever had. Also great value for money.

Negative experience: Each time is more complicate to swim. Pool is overflowing even if you book a lane. Doesn’t matter what is your level of swimming, only how you feel when you choose. Nobody cares if you have booked or not, then feel free to come by whenever, nobody is going to tell you anything! Shower are super filthy to add more value!

Positive experience: I Attended My Lifeguard Training Course At Easton Leisure Centre And I Did Like The Session But The Course Was Very Exspensive.

Fantastic experience: Anna is just the best instructor. She puts the kids through their paces and you can totally see the improvement. They all come out smiling too. They love it.
