Fantastic experience: Very clean and nice, the staff are helpful and welcoming. I would like to thank Georgia Rose (swimming instructor) for being helpful, patient, she added many tips that helped me getting better in swimming and will keep her tips in mind, practice is the key.

Fantastic experience: I just had to shout out how much I’m enjoying Virgin Wimbledon. I just left David Lloyd and feel like this Virgin gym has everything I need, leaving behind the stuff I didn’t need but paid for!! The staff are all helpful, the classes are challenging and different to the same old stuff repeated everywhere. The changing rooms are immaculate and so well thought out. I thought I would. miss the out door pool at David Lloyd but Virgin’s pool is so clean and not too warm, I’ve never not had a lane to myself! I really like that you can track how busy the club is to help plan your visit. I am super fussy about facilities so thank you Virgin for exceeding my expectations. Finally, I had the brilliant Jennifer as my PT, if you are lucky enough to get a session with her grab it! She has a holistic approach to fitness and after a body scan she got me doing strength and conditioning that had me skipping out of the gym! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Positive experience: I really enjoy going to this gym - the staff are lovely and the food offered in the cafe is excellent. Though well intentioned I’m sure, my only gripe is the club is constantly pumping toxic indoor ‘air fresheners’, into a not very well ventilated small gym. These industrial machines are churning out volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carcinogenic formaldehyde, benzenes and phthalates which are particularly harmful for pregnant women, children and those with respiratory conditions like asthma. I’m sure management has been reassured by the companies selling these products but I invite them to look at the ingredient list and seek advice if they are unaware of the dangers of these products. My main concern is for the young staff having to work there for 8-10 hours daily inhaling it all deep into their lungs. Please can these be replaced with essential oil natural non-toxic vaporisers for the safety of staff and clients. This is supposed to be a place to improve our health, and not add to our environmental toxic chemical burden. Thank you.

Negative experience: It is a nice gym, and I love the classes. I signed up to this particular gym due to the extensive range of reformer pilates classes, and because I have 50% off with Vitality. However in the past two months the reformer pilates classes are less and less with a lot of cancellation. When you pay £80 a month (after the discount, otherwise it will be £160) you would not expect cancellation (without replacement) happening so frequently.
Negative experience: After a year of membership, I’ve decided to cancel. When the gym first reopened after its refurbishment, it offered a promising variety of classes at convenient times. The instructors and staff were friendly, which made it a great initial experience. However, things steadily declined over the months. Classes were frequently canceled, and the timetable was constantly changed. As a working professional with limited free time, this lack of consistency was frustrating. Just when I found weekend classes that fit my schedule, they were removed entirely. On several occasions, classes were canceled with less than an hour’s notice. The facilities were also disappointing. The showers were unreliable, often lukewarm at best, and the gym floor was far too small for the number of members. It was almost impossible to find available machines due to overcrowding. For the price of what is marketed as a luxury gym, the experience falls far short of expectations. It’s simply not worth the cost.

Negative experience: Small, dirty, smelly club with unhelpful staff. Classes cancelled without notice or just disappearing from timetable.

Negative experience: A really negative experience after visiting to attend a class with Katie. The situation was dealt with extremely badly by customer relations team headed up by Jonny. Disappointing.
Fantastic experience: Their Reformer Pilates classes are amazing. I went to try it with a friend on a guest pass, and the best, most efficient toning exercise I ever did. The gym is very clean, lovely facilities, easy to get around, superb location, friendly staff, and they have a lovely cafe on site with amazing nutritious food as well as tasty coffee. I highly recommend Virgin Active Wimbledon Worple Road.
Positive experience: When you asked for a rating I gave you 7, however on reflection, despite the excellence of the staff, pool, sauna area, I really feel I must give you only 5 for the following reasons, the too small private lockers, the tiny numbers for them and the problem of them deciding not too work, all the hangers (showers, loos etc.) which are to high for me, the loo doors which swing outward, the too dark decor which makes me feel as though I am in a funeral parlour (not a good feel as I am 82), the dreary music which makes me feel cross, why have any, the heavy doors, particularly the outside one (I have a very bad back and while I realise they must be heavy for fire protection, could you not have a button to press so they will open on their own), the pool clock the hands of which are impossible to see. Otherwise I reiterate on the excellence of your staff and the pool! Margaret.

Negative experience: I thought hopefully the customer service would be better with the new launch but oh my God it’s horrendous! What is wrong with them? They say they will do things and then don’t and sometimes put the phone down on you. You have to keep pushing to get anything done. So painful. My husband was going to sign up but will probably cancel now. They are nice to you while you are in the gym so are personal trainers but not if you have an admin issue.

Barnabas and Keira were fantastic during my initial visit, providing a thorough tour of the facilities and answering all of my questions with patience and enthusiasm. Negative experience: Unfortunately no care for old costumers. Very unhappy with their behaviour. Their mistake you pay. My self, husband and a friend we renew our membership (after the long time of workings to renew the gym that we were no able to use but had to pay anyway for all that closure time) they seem to have done a mistake in the process and continue charging us increasingly as we didn’t have a membership and no rectification. Ending here our journey in the gym. Disappointing. Sadly no care for costumers
Negative experience: Poor customer service. I'll avoid this gym, saving myself from additional complications in life. I felt I was unfairly charged with lack of transparency. The gym was closed for works during a period of 5 months or so in 2023, during this period I was charged a monthly fee, with the promise that I would benefit from it. A few months after reopening, I got an email informing that I was going to start paying more or as alternative I should renew for 12 months, I decided to go ahead and submit the 12 months online form membership, to my surprise, they never received my request, I am aware of at least other two similar occurrences, as a consequence I started to pay more. So, what was the point of paying while the gym was closed? I could have gone to other gym. Also, these last months the payments have been very confusing, not matching what I had in my app, or what I got in the email. Very confusing indeed. It's not easy to find the contract, I tried the app and online, and I didn't find it. Eventually after wasting some time I found an email address that I reached out.

Negative experience: CARRIED ON TAKING MONEY AFTER CANCELLATION After Virgin Active increased their prices, they called me to check whether I wanted to change my membership. I told them I wanted to cancel my subscription but while the representative agreed to the termination, they continued to charge me for the next two months. They have taken hundreds of pounds from me for services I have not used and have refused to refund this as they claim they cannot find a record of the call they made to me. Go to Nuffield instead.
Negative experience: If there is way to give negative stars - i would certainly would! I dont know why they called this as a premium gym if they cannot offer premium customer service. I filed a complaint like a month ago recently for wrongly charging my account during the freeze and continuing to take payments for PT sessions when i asked them to cancel. I did the freeze and the cancellation at the same time and representative confirmed it has gone through. After a series of chase ups - both in person and in emails and even escalating to Head of Customer service , i get a note after 4 weeks,that i should have given this in written and hence they will not pay be back. Meanwhile , the DD payment has kept collecting the payments. I asked them to point this in my contract and thats the last i heard from them (Gone Girl time!!). I cannot see my signed contract in the app now because of the new app. If you wanted it in written , you should tell your representatives to remind us when we place such cancellation. Absolute scam and they dont care at all. I totally understand these issues can happen but what i dont get it is their response to it. Everytime i went to the gym, there was a new person to whom i had to explain these issues all over again and again like a vicious cycle of Life- death. While this issue was ongoing , one day i get a mail saying my membership has been cancelled and i had to rush in to check why they did that as they are gone girl remember! ( Leave no note) and they dont inform before doing so.I dont blame the people at the reception , its the management. I literally had to prep myself mentally before i have a chat with them. I think their tactic here is, like any other corporate, they tire us out by not giving any response until we give up on our complaint as the stress of chasing consumes us slowly (Like Colm's approach from Derry Girls). This morning , im not able to acccess my app because of the DD error which i just gave them in person last week. I'm absolutely traumatized by the mess.At this stage , i have been losing weight due to stress caused by Virgin Active ( Goals achieved for 2024) so as a last resort i have asked them to cancel my membership for the sanity. The Gym itself is great , the PTs are nice and ground staff are good too and you can have a great training when there are no issues and all are on happy path. The moment you come up with an issue that needs to be dealt by the customer service , you are doomed to inferno along with your money. As a last act, im letting the everyone know, Virgin Active is just like any other corporation when it comes to Customer service , they say they care, but in reality, they dont.
Negative experience: Children swimming lessons is not consistant. lots of changes whitout notification or even answer queries. Twice class was reschedualed without informing us. And one was for 15 mimutes withbother levels as classes were cpmbined due to coatch abcense.
Positive experience: Renovation was much needed and now the club overall feels much nicer and cleaner. I am not impressed with the design so much and the black walls/tiling everywhere, specifically the changing room is sooooo dark. Lighter or brighter colours would be much better to support your overall mood or motivation. Love the classes. Adding reformer classes was a good move as I really enjoy it, also the gym floor is a bit bigger ,which is great. Dry sauna has some issue since renovation as on most occasions it doesn't feel hot enough. After the reopening, new showers didn't have any shelves to put your toiletries on, but I think they fixed that in the meantime. Overall good enough experience.

Fantastic experience: Since the refurbishment, this facility has established itself as a well-rounded and fully equipped gym with high hygiene standards at reasonable pricing. I would say VA Wimbledon is arguably the best value gym in the immediate vicinity.

Negative experience: Would give negative stars if possible. After being scammed into signing a 12 month contract unknowingly and being told i was signing a health and safety form, I was treated like an idiot by the sales team at Wimbledon. Since speaking to customer service on the phone and being promised to be called back twice (and of course no call back) I am being subject to delaying tactics in order to keep my direct debit rolling on. This is a blatant violation of consumer rights and unfair terms being placed on innocent new members. I can see this isn’t the first time people are being conned into these memberships at Virgin Active. I think it is absolutely shameful and you will be hearing more from me until this is resolved.

Positive experience: Good classes but the building is a maze, the changing rooms are very limited in space and not finished to a high standard, the swimming pool and spa area are much smaller and busier than anticipated. The whole lot was also not very clean, so I did a few trials but will not come back.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointing. The gym is super small. Not enough space to do any type of free weights or stretch. Even really basic machines are missing. What is even worse is how unethical and misleading the signing package was. We signed up pre-opening with just one option which was rolling contract to now find out we are locked in without our knowledge. Complain it’s already ongoing and would never come back to Virgin services in the future.

Negative experience: All I can say is, crooks, bunch of unprofessional people, who lie and will do anything to scam you when you cancel your membership, after 15 years being a member, tried to cancel and after 2 years still they are taking money and coming up with all the excuses to blame you. Even though email sent, went to the place directly but they try to always leave it in a way that they say you haven’t done it. Make sure you keep recording of all conversations because these criminals will not care and will give you the run around.

Fantastic experience: The beautifully designed, newly refurbished Wimbledon VA is outstanding. The pool area is a great place to swim with spotlessly clean and luxurious changing rooms. Negative experience: Edit: after over a year of membership, I'm now cancelling. While everyone who works at the club is absolutely fantastic (the manager Elsa is brilliant and highly effective, the trainers are knowledgeable and friendly), the customer service of VA HQ is atrocious. They keep taking away whatever little autonomy the management has at the gym - not only does the HQ decide the class schedule, but now it's actually impossible to call the gym directly, all calls go to the central VA number where you are invited to wait on hold for 30 minutes. The gym would be a much better place if the location manager was given more power to decide how to run it, what classes to offer on what schedule, etc. I had 3 concerns over the past year that were beyond the scope of the physical club - 2 of them had to do with the botched rollout of the new app and the bugs associated with it - and the customer service just kept ignoring my emails or telling me that I'm lying. The gym should be a positive for mental health, not a negative. The awful customer service from the HQ is almost hard to believe. They prefer to lose four members in one household rather than solve a problem with their app/system. Virgin Active, when your customers tell you something, do believe them! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Firstly, the staff is really nice. Most trainers are very nice and knowledgeable, and I've found excellent classes for what I need. However, after 4 months of membership, there are a number of things that need improvement to justify the "luxury" aspiration. Like others said, the club is small which does present limitations in the range of equipment and workouts. The "spa" is a steam room and sauna in the pool area - you always need your swimsuit to use it, and additional planning step. Steam room and spa are definitely great things to have in a gym, but it is most definitely not a spa - it's a function-first solution to soothe your muscles after a work out (which I personally rarely use because I forget to bring a swimsuit). I also am surprised by "towels at reception" rather than in changing rooms, but I think it's a VA thing that happens in other clubs too. Reasonable for a cheap gym, but not for a club that aspires to "luxury". The changing rooms are not set up well enough to prevent the mud and dirt being tracked through. Again, you need to pack rubber shoes with you because you'll be walking on a dirty floor coming out of the showers. Yet the real problem has been continuous instances of hot water distribution, especially during cold days. There were days with luke warm showers, and days with plain cold water. In a brand new club. Still, the biggest mistake we made was enrolling our son in the swimming lessons. We have heard less than flattering feedback about the kids swimming programme, but we are not raising an Olympian, we just wanted the kid to learn swimming and have fun. The prices are deceptive because you also need to get a junior membership. But most importantly, it all turned into a circus when the water in the pool got too cold. One week we had to go home because he started crying from the shivers and being cold. The following week, I saw a note at front desk about water temperature being lower than normal, and emailed to ask for a make up session. I am absolutely flabbergasted by how unfriendly the response was - ignoring emails, denying any problems, insisting the temperature is always the same. Weeks of having to chase it. We made a mistake of signing up for a year with no idea that there are no makeup lessons even if it's the club's fault. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not repeat my mistakes.

Fantastic experience: Minas sorted out transferring my membership from Fulham Virgin. Honestly the gym is the best I have ever been too. Great area to train and nice a quiet at non peak times. Negative experience: Its smalles gym area I have ever seen. most of the mandatory gym machines don't even exist. Also, aside from the fact that it is small, it is not fair to close half of the weight lifting area for classes.while you doing bench press they could say they have a class in this area. Negative experience: I did really like the gym, changing rooms are really lovely and so is the grid training. Tbh the actual gym floor should have more equipment for how expensive it is (couldn’t believe there isn’t a stairmaster which is pretty standard in pretty much every gym) most staff are lovely except one member of staff who was incredibly rude/short with me when asked help with a machine he visibly sighed. Afterwards I asked for clarity on something and he replied ‘Fine I’ll show you AGAIN’ in a really condescending and rude tone. Not what you would expect from a ‘luxury’ gym.

Negative experience: Disappointed with the selection of equipment after refurbishment. Missing basic, fundamental equipment such as plyometric boxes, steps, a stretching area, gym balls and no longer has a sled track. Gym was much better equipped before refurbishment and price of membership has gone up with less equipment to offer on the gym floor. Looks nice but not well equipped!
Negative experience: I have been a member of this gym for over three years and went through the refurbishment process. It wasn't the most modern facility prior with a lot of changing room lockers, spin bikes and equipments broken BUT what kept the club going was the community feel, the classes, the friendly reception and the airy space. It did make a difference. Once it was under a new management, this club has gone a steep downhill, with a lot of instructors leaving/ falling long term sick apparently and classes not being covered or replaced by a new instructor. Apparently they were hiring. After the refurbishments and reopening in November, the very popular Zumba class has been removed and replaced with multiple forms of pilates classes - it's almost like they are pushing this class onto your face (take it or leave it attitude) with no respect to long standing members. On multiple occasions; even before the closure I have requested for more spin classes, which has systematically been scaled down despite its popularity and I have constantly been promised that they are "hiring new spin instructors" to bring the frequency back to previous levels. This gym used to have five evening spin classes a week on top of the morning and mid-day classes that was convenient to attend for people working 9-5s. Despite multiple requests and promises, no changes have been made and we are now left with two classes for those on standard working hours; one on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. It's shocking for the price I paid before and the price I pay now. What's the purpose of a "luxury" gym when they can't even accommodate to everyone? I don't need GHD straighteners or Molton Brown (filled with toxic Sodium Laureth Sulfate) shower gels! TRX and Hiit have also been removed. Old members should have been made aware of this in advance so they had an option to cancel prior to the closure for refurbs but instead they were keep collecting freeze fees and reduced membership costs during the refurbishments promising us everything will get better. Once they reopened, they said they are "still hiring" new instructors and those classes will come. Wonder how the Zumba class is going to come back when the floor space is now blocked with permanent pilates equipment? Hiring of spin instructors is happening for over a year now, why have you not managed to hire them prior to reopening at the very latest? This business is unethical and lies / makes false promises to keep its members and should be legally sued by old members. Nice team but I feel so disgusted by this club that I don't even want to greet them. The gym floor is also very small and reminds me of a £25/ month gym - everything cramped into one space, very sterile and cheap layout. A lot of equipment is gone. It used to be an airy and spacious floor with a lot of daylight coming in. Nice changing rooms if this adds value to anyone, pool, jacuzzi's pump is also not as strong as it was prior to the refurbs and water is cold. I have now cancelled my membership. They have told me that I will have to stick it out until January but I managed to get out of it before.

Negative experience: Stopped lunchtime classes no body pump or hit just rows and rows of pilates classes very odd timtable I'm off .I suppose the classes are not that bad you can have a sound bath and have a kip for 2 hours or so a week but wait I would rather got to bed for free see ya
Negative experience: For the money, the gym is incredibly small and not worth the money. The third space opening down the road is similarly priced but triple the sized. Also the pool seems to have lessons devoted to 2 out of the 4 lanes but it’s not listed as that anywhere.
Negative experience: Just joined this gym and already a bad experience. I booked a reformer class for which I was waitlisted till the morning of the class and then booked in. Unfortunately I was 2 mins late due to trying to find parking - note there is NO parking (not even subsidised parking)for this gym that charges £115 a month for membership. They shut the doors for the reformer class for which I arrived 2 mins late. At 11:17 am, I started to knock on the door (for the 11:15 am class), the teacher decided to ignore me. She finally opened the door when another lady arrived but decided she could do the class because she had only gone away to get grip socks. Whereas I had my grip socks and I was ready but apparently lost my spot in the 2 minutes that I was late. The reception staff “kindly” decided to drop my “punishment strike” even though I was actually there for the class. Thanks so much guys, would be great if you paid me back for my wasted parking fees too.
Negative experience: EDIT** apparently i cannot cancel my membership for A YEAR! So I'm removing another star. Absolute con artists, considering how bad this gym is vs what was promoted. So additional information and detail to my previous review: Overhead height in the main gym is low, so no overheads exercises allowed. Stretching area is in a class room, so say goodbye to an area for stretching if its pre and post work hours. Showers often missing soap on a busy day. Original Review: Where to begin with this. Lets be very clear, this isn't a "Gym" its a mini leisure center (if that) As expected the weights area is subpar, you have a free weights rack, a few cable machines, and a fairly decent sized cardio area. Spinners, treads and so on, Free weights will go up to 50kg, no enough for any serious rats but enough. i'm not a fan of rotating handles on dumbells, but thats a small ick. An utterly bizarre use of gym space, god forbid this gym area gets marginally busy as you will be waiting for some time to get on a machine. No plate racks anywhere, lack of machines for shoulders, chest. legs. Silver lining is bar area is extensive if you want to train legs, chest. Swimming area is nice, nothing crazy. all in all, its obviously not worth the £115+ a month price tag but you are paying for a gym in Wimbledon with a pool. i've seen similar setups in new build property gyms and private health clubs where the main demo is 50+ years of age. Quite embarrassing. Avoid if you want something serious and well stocked with decent equipment i will be cancelling after my month subscription ends.

Negative experience: I've been after the refurbishment and while it looks cosmetically nice, there appears to be no stretching area, no TRX, no HIIT class which was popular and no sled anymore. Gym floor also feels a bit crowded. A bit disappointing. Staff still friendly and helpful.
Positive experience: I was expecting more from it after the refurbishment. The facilities are really nice and modern, and the staff friendly, but the gym is very small and not very well equipped. Even the most basic equipment is missing, and the stretching area is shared with the classes, so not always available. In comparison to other VA centres where I have been, this one is very poor. I guess it's good if you prefer fitness and swimming classes, but definitely not for gym rats. The spa is also very small and there is no relaxation area, only THREE sunbeds right next to the pool. All in all, not worth the money, in my opinion. It looks nice, but doesn't really meet my expectations.
Fantastic experience: Looks like the reopening date for the Wimbledon club has now been pushed back to October according to the Virgin Active website. The membership section of the website also suggests that the club is being upgraded in terms of multi access so only VA members whose home club is Aldersgate, Bank, Cannon St/Walbrook, Canary Riverside, Chiswick Riverside, Kensington or Mayfair will now have reciprocal access. Look forward to seeing the improvements - once we have an opening date.

Negative experience: So some people get a message saying your closing down for 3 months and others don't and how much notice do you give? Less than a month?! When are you going to tell the rest of your members? UPDATE: Just talked to the staff. They KNOW that they have not and will not email people about the closure if they have unsubscribed to marketing emails?!? It's a "full refurbishment" but don't know anything else. Talking to the members some are saying they are CONVERTING THE POOL TO A GYM? Because it's too expensive for them. So I'm heading to Nuffield over the road they have a 50% discount if you are a Vitality member! You can also had either a rolling monthly or yearly contract. UPDATE2: Signed up to Nuffield, had to resubscribe to Virgins marketing emails and now get weekly nonsense on classes I can join in Bank, city?! The rumour is they are DOUBLING the cost of the gym when they reopen. So it's not worth it for me.

Negative experience: completely and utterly awful for the price paid. if i could give this negative stars i would. such a small free weights section and very small range of machines with some being out of order for weeks. i would not want my worst enemy to go to this gym and it is just such an awful experience.

In terms of the gym floor, we have a couple of treadmills out of order, unfortunately, due to member damage. One of the treadmills has an issue with the handlebar where it speeds up uncontrollably. We have logged this with our supplier TechnoGym and are currently awaiting a timeframe for repair. We've also logged an upper back machine, which is currently out of order. Other than that, everything else is functioning normally. Please let us know if we can support further.
Positive experience: To be honest I'd take a pure gym over this any day but this gym is a great location for me so it wins. It has equipment that works but is very dated compared to other leading gyms. Staff friendly and you pay for a fairly quiet gym where equipment is often free. Pros and cons but ultimately questioning whether I will stay on considering 81 gbp a month. I don't use the pool which is often closed to staffing issues or Jacuzzi so I can't bring that into the picture.

Negative experience: Worst gym experience ever. The staff were rude and disrespectful, especially the curly blonde haired lifeguard called sonia. She should get the sack. She lied to the general manger and got my membership terminated saying i was stalking her when in reality it was because we fell out as friends and she could not stand seeing me working as hard as i was. I originally liked the gym but the way the GM handled this situation was so unprofessional. I would avoid at all costs.

Positive experience: Impressive gym with good facilities, and doesn’t tend to get too busy which is great. Staff are super friendly and always make an effort to greet you/say goodbye. For the price of the membership, I expected better shower facilities. The shampoo/conditioner just isn’t worth using at all and a couple of shower buttons were broken. Apart from that I’m generally pleased with Virgin Active.

Fantastic experience: Newly refurbished club, great facilities, super clean and friendly and nice atmosphere. I'm really surprised by negative reviews. I go to the gym 5-6 times per week, and I've never had any problems with equipment or space. It's not a big gym floor, and maybe some machines are missing, but it's not like they are essential. There is also plenty of space if you want to use free weights or do some stretching. Also, I don't know why someone wrote that it's not clean. It's not true, and the cleaning team is working literally all the time the club is open!

Fantastic experience: The Wimbledon virgin active has a large pool and a good amount of available machines. They also have a sled available as a good burnout exercise on a leg day. When I last trained here, there were several available squat racks and benches and was pretty good for a leg day. The saunas also got up to a good temperature which at other VA locations can be inconsistent. The staff were also helpful as I went there on a day pass. Would likely go again.

Positive experience: The jacuzzi has been out of order for a year, yet they rise the prices regularly. Showers and changing rooms are often dirty, shampoo dispensers empty. It has very low ceilings in the gym floor so tall people have to be careful when lifting high. One or two good yoga sessions a week. I’m just going there because it’s near and out of habit. Other branches are much bigger and better equipped and serviced. It’s sad they closed/sold off their bigger clubs in my neighbourhood we used to go to. There’s no car parking either.
Hello Sonia, thank you for taking time to leave a review, which I have shared with club management. The jacuzzi is actually going to be replaced for a new one, so keep an eye on that very soon. The ceilings have always had that height, however there are areas around the free weights and functional training area which have plenty of height to perform shoulder presses if needed. Club management have fed back to our Operations team regarding the cleaning, so they can resolve. To the best of our knowledge, we haven't received any complaints about the Yoga classes but we are always happy to hear feedback if you'd like to share some. Sadly, we are not able to offer car park facilities to our members, but we do have a Sainsbury's in front of us where most of our members park for small fee that can be deducted from their shopping. Positive experience: Small facility and rather tired looking. All the other gyms have a better setup than Wimbledon. Wandsworth and Clapham are much nicer yet in the same class. It’s a shame really. The one positive is, the staff are super friendly and welcoming.

Negative experience: Why so many virgin gyms look amazing yet this one no matter how hard the staff work cleaning it will always be dirty. From the minute you walk into the changing rooms you don’t want to be there, clearly needs a full refit so when is this likely to take place? I see va only reply to good comments this gym is way below what others offer
Positive experience: Classes are great but very busy, good selection of equipment, lockers and showers could do with an upgrade though
Negative experience: filthy club in need of a manager, no support from head office shows on the club and clients affected with no care and zero customer service. shame
