Fantastic experience: I have been to a few puregyms but have to say this is one of the friendliest, cleanest and best equipped, will be attending this one more often

Negative experience: What a Stupid Question. I've never been there and never will. I'm sure some people who go there like it

Positive experience: Can be busy at times, like all PureGym, but at least it's 24h. The size is good, the equipment is pretty good (cardio screens are rather basic though) and it's clean. Seems friendly too (not my thing, but people seem happy and noone unpleasant so far.

Fantastic experience: Considering so many puregyms have gone downhill in the last year or so this one is everywhere is clean which is becoming rare for puregyms and the space is great

Positive experience: Great Gym. Very popular and good value for money. The equipment is very modern and well kept.

Negative experience: This place and the company strategy is to encourage people to come to gym and to enjoy the social life. But the management are not that helpful and making it hard for people.

Negative experience: States it is a 24 hour gym - the car park has an absolute max of 10 minutes if you go on Sunday morning before 11am. I got a parking ticket for going to my "24hr gym with free parking" as I was longer than 10mins

Fantastic experience: Great gym, lots of equipment. Big free weights section. Really friendly staff. We travel a couple of miles to go here and it’s worth it.

Positive experience: Good place to train and work out. Would have good a 5* if the gym had a hack squat machine

Positive experience: Great gym, well located, plenty of parking. Joe is a fantastic personal trainer- highly recommend him. Re equipment, it could do with a curve mill to make it 5 stars

Negative experience: The gym has a great mix and balance of equipment, is fairly empty during off-peak hours, and is a nice, easy-to-access space overall; however, during peak hours it becomes unbearably hot, smelly, and humid due to overcrowding and lacklustre air conditioning. So unless you like to feel like you're training during monsoon season in the Philippines I would stay clear of the gym between 4-6 pm.

Negative experience: Unfortunately it's too busy when you need to go and air conditioning is absolutely useless and classes are dissapointing (that's from the wife)

Fantastic experience: New gym.very clean stuff are lovely and helpful

Negative experience: PROS: - Not overly busy during off-peak times - Relatively clean CONS: - Far too hot and poorly ventilated - Smells like a kitchen (presumably due to the gym being situated above a Gregg's) - Tiny lockers - Users not re-racking weights Not the worst PureGym I've been to (Luton & Dunstable), but far from the best (Harlow).

Fantastic experience: Clean, spacious, huge variety of machines to use (especially as a beginner). I can see why it would be more difficult going at peak times, but using the app to see how busy it is can help around that.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym. Parking. 24 hour access. Great location for M25. No idea what these people who are moaning want for £18.99 a month. Don’t be put off.

Negative experience: Just awful. I wanted to test it out before I joined, but was not allowed. I know it is a cheap gym, but this seems like everything is squeezed in. The machines are not effective for me. I am a gym goer and like real machines that do not let you cheat. The Matrix machines are designed for the beginner and provide too much assistance. The only machine I liked here was the eliptical. There are not enough free weights. No hack squat. Note also there is only one of each machine which is not the norm these days. You will end up waiting or giving up and moving on. It is dark in there. Most importantly it is full of chavs and there is absolutely no atmosphere. Please think carefully before joining. The Cotlandswick gym is a simular price, marginally more and is much better than this. I am going back to Nuffield, which I know is much more expensive, but it a price worth paying.

Negative experience: Too hot in there. No wipes to use to clean down equipment and the staff don’t seem to want to clean much either as most of the time they are just sat chatting. Not enough plates for the bars.

Negative experience: Difficulty with entry through main doors, found the workout areas were untidy and over crowded

Positive experience: Why can I never get in the main doors at the gym. Not even with my code will it work. Automatic doors are only automatic from the inside. It’s ridiculous.
