Negative experience: A good option if attending the gym or facility however there are no doors stopping the children from running out of the softplay and then out of the centre. I would not go there especially for the soft play.

Positive experience: At £20 a month membership with concession or £25 without, it’s actually very good if you know how to make the most of it, such as by attending gym classes. The facilities are all round very good - though the gym floor gets busy during peak how’s obviously. Love the fact they have classes aimed at senior citizens. All round a good community asset.

Negative experience: I would like to give 0 stars!!! I registered at this gym for just 1 month, and I told the receptionist, "Please, I don't want to be a member. I just want to pay by myself every month if I want to come. If not, this doesn't mean you have to steal my money every month!" Shame on you! But I'm not going to leave it like this!!! I want all my money back, or the court is waiting for you!!! Stupid staff!

Positive experience: Decent gym, but would prefer private showers as they have communal ones, also toilets/sinks aren't that clean.

Fantastic experience: Staff very helpful and polite the gym is good easy parking maybe toilet area could be kept a bit more tidy .

Negative experience: I’m currently having work at my home which means that I can’t shower there. Cotlandswick is the closest centre to me. I’m very surprised they’ve just undergone a huge refurb but didn’t think to upgrade the showers. They’re open communal showers without and privacy screens/partitioning whatsoever. Surely this won’t be a huge cost? It’s also a a basic standard for 99% of gyms. I now have to drive another few miles out to go to any of the other everyone active sites that have showers with partitions

Positive experience: I went there for an u12s friendly match, easy to get to location good parking. Nice atmosphere, good quality grass and astro pitches. I didn't use the facilities so I can't comment on wc s changing rooms or refreshments.

Fantastic experience: Great astro turf, used for grassroots football and it was perfect for the game.

Positive experience: We use the 5 & 7 a-side pitches only. These are great, although the upkeep of the goal nets is a letdown at times, plus some goal frames wheels, have rotted away. Otherwise I would have chosen 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Greatt place

Positive experience: Seems nice enough, but there is no baby change so had to change baby on a bench in the changing rooms, and another lady was doing it on the floor in the foyer. Bit inappropriate for a soft play centre! Shuts at 5, but couldn't get coffee at 4:30 anymore.. disappointing for knackered parents.

Positive experience: Not very big soft play area. 3 floors but not huge. Didnt need to book online. Call before going there. Lovely staff at the reception.

Positive experience: Seemed fine, just visited the gym for a play dress rehearsal.

Positive experience: Fantastic staff. Will give you help if you need it without a problem. Only downside is you have to share showers and I am very uncomfortable with that.

Positive experience: I started here @ cotlandswick leisure Centre the last week of July this year ..Very friendly & welcoming staff & always polite & helpful ,it really has put me at ease, the gym itself has everything well organised & regularly cleaned & sanatized the facilities there are good & well organised & not to overwhelming I visit at least three times a week trying to get fit & healthier.i really am at ease ... thank you ...I look forward to visiting ...nothing is to much ...helpful & informative... Negative experience: Boring place

Negative experience: It's actually pretty good. This is a protest review. They don't give any warning that time is up on the football pitches, they just turn the lights off and leave you to find your stuff in the pitch dark, even on a day like today when it's been snowing. I've complained but they don't care. Lazy. It's a mockery when so many of us are working huge overtime in our own jobs to try and keep things ticking along that these guys can't even give us 30 seconds to find our stuff. They used to do it, so the excuse I was once given that it's impossible because of how the lights work is a lie and an insult to my intelligence. Change this nasty policy and I'll change my review.

Negative experience: Was only visiting the park to then find that someone has locked the gate and locked my car in! I can't see any signs saying that the car park closes, and as I was right next to my car with my children in the park I would of thought someone would of come over and told me they were locking the gate? Lucky I got out going over the path

Negative experience: Very limited and with unpleasant atmosphere. Lots of youngsters hanging around, estate feeling. Tried to contact customer services to cancel my membership and it was a dead end, asked 3 times for a confirmation of cancellation and no response at all, later received a email from a debit finance company charging for unpaid direct debit.

Negative experience: Visited on 27th December 2020. It was closed due to covid restrictions, good job there was a large empty field next to the centre. Was able to get my "pump-on" in a socially distanced setting. 1 star due to it being closed. I'm sure it's just fine when it's open, however I wouldn't say exceeding with gigantic windows so everyone can see you is such a good idea.. at least make them privacy windows.. come one guys

Negative experience: Was at this gym for quite long It was ok with adequate gym equipment but was overpriced (was paying £33 for minimum stuff) And when I went to freeze my account it was never handled properly money kept on going out of my account and I could never get hold of a person who could help it was always passed around. I was told that a person would get in touch and I would leave my contact details behind When I finally managed to get hold of someone they said they can’t issue me a refund

Fantastic experience: I was close to cancelling my membership to the gym entirely. I decided to keep it because of all the club activities made available. These being the Muay Thai and Boxing class, run by a great PT Aled. He has helped me rekindle my love for training and taught me so much already. He has a plethora of knowledge which he is very humble about. My fitness has gone up tremendously in the time with Aled and I hope that management do give more time to all the clubs, as none of them seem to be advertised very much at all. If you go to this gym, ask for Aled. He will always have time to help you, no matter your fitness level.

I love it , there's always enough room in the gym , the equipment it's in verry good condition and the staff very helpful , Specialy Lee , he always offered help with the exercises in a very professional way ' he brings a huge credit to the place .

Positive experience: This gym meets my needs but gets really busy at peak times. Some gym users hog equipment while looking at their phones for half an hour! Not sure why we need to pay for membership as you can just walk in unchallenged most of the time!

Fantastic experience: Great play area for you children. My boys aged 3 & 5 loved it and made their game a story about being pirates on a ship(a boat on multiple springs that I bounced about while they hung on for dear life!). A climbing structure with slide became their pirate base and they kept running between that and the boat on their missions! Great for imaginitave play but not much for older children.

Negative experience: Came here today for soft play for the children, i will never be doing this again. It cost five pounds each ( when you can go to much bigger places for slightly more £6.50 to go the new big one at the furzfield centre at potters bar or you have the free smaller one at the fish centre near the big roundabout ) having two small kids you get to see a lot of soft play areas and this one of the worst. Its so cramped with only 1 slide. Then theres the seating area with 6 tables which is very unfortable, also they charge a fortune for a bag of crisps in the venting machine. I know its half term and i know we are all in the same situation to entertain the kids, i counted 15 kids in the softplay and it felt like there were 100, plus all the seating was taken. Just as i couldnt take it anymore i asked the kids to come out and my little boy ran into the glass thats just by the entrance/exit. Really poor design. The little playground just outside is far better if you come here and its not raining just stay there lol.

Negative experience: Machines are new, but then again the gym is very knew. It's very clean and facilities are ok. But DO NOT buy a membership. They give you a price that you agree on and then the my over chagre you. They say it is a fault and that they are trying to fix it but are failing to do so. Its been 2 f****** weeks and still nothing. Staff are nice tho, but they are going to screw you around with your money. Do not buy a membership. I'm warning you. Just don't buy. Apparently i aint the onky one anyway

Positive experience: Good badminton court; however, you will invariably lose your shuttle at the roof due to a bad design.

Negative experience: The badminton court is still, as it was prior to COVID-19, filthy. Used plasters and coffee stirrers on the floor (in addition to general dirt and grime) which suggests no enhanced hygiene measures have been introduced. Disappointing.

Negative experience: Customer service is horrifically bad, staff are rude to you, and very lazy, management is poor. Would not recommend it !
