Fantastic experience: The best gym I’ve ever been to, its where I started my whole gym stage of my life and it’s such a shame to see that it closed down on Sunday 5th January, I will forever miss this gym as it’s one of the best gyms I’ve ever come across, you don’t have to wait forever for equipment, you just have lots of equipment, no gym is perfect but this is one of the best, I will never forget this gym, and I will miss it forever

Positive experience: Often broken equipment and missing parts, missing paper towels, soap and toilet paper in the toilet. Only one sink in the changing room. Does not appear to be looked after.

Negative experience: A small & and friendly gym with some problems. Equipment is old and often out of order, as are the lifts ( though they seem to work just fine when the staff want to use them! ) Cleanliness is also an issue, with toilets and changing areas often filthy. Piped music is often unbearably loud. In the summertime because it is a glass building it is blisteringly hot. All but one of the staff are friendly and approachable. Having said all of this, on the whole it's not a bad little gym. 3 stars off though for the aforementioned problems

Positive experience: Streamlined booking experience, easy and convenient. Didn't have to speak to a member of staff. Most machines are in good condition with a few that should be removed for heavy maintenance. Bathrooms were in very poor condition. Good experience for one time or two.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to 24/7 Fitness Liverpool for about 2 1/2 years now. The environment is great, everyone is respectable and supportive of one another and i've never had an issue with another member before so the community is very friendly both towards expert gym goers and complete beginners. The equipment is great both for cardio and resistance training and I like the variety on offer. There are a good range of classes ranging from cardio focused such as Spin, body blast, body pump and Boxfit, to more flexibility, mindfulness and mobility focused classes such as Yoga and Pilates, and believe me they are not easy, you will sometimes leave these classes with barely anything left in the tank, if anything. One of the best aspects of the Gym itself are the staff, each staff member is friendly, attentive and always willing to help if you need it and they make the classes great and fun to attend. They all have their own strengths and ways of training which can help guide a complete beginner like I was to a confident gym user. The staff are also great PT's so if it's something you are interested in having definately check them out. I cannot rate 24/7 Liverpool enough, Craig and the team do a fantastic job in the Gym and make it a great environment to be apart of.

Positive experience: The gym and classes are good, but the changing area and bathroom could be better in terms of cleaning. It is a bit outdated and the lift has been out of order for months (at least since April when I joined) making the gym not inclusive and accessible for some people. I have attempted to enquiry about this and received no response via email. The gym staff are nice but they are unable to offer any updates regarding the lift. UPDATE: still out of order and no reply to my emails.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, staff and other members are lovely. It has all the equipment you could need and I love all the free classes!

Negative experience: The 2 stars are for cleaning and location, it’s shame good location and all that but the gym itself isn’t good, it needs updates the equipments, I really want to go back better than travel to other gyms, but the equipments are old): and some isn’t even working!

Negative experience: Equipment is dated and never gets fixed. Zero Aircon, it's terrible in the summer. Changing rooms and showers are grimey. No cleaning equipment to wipe down machines which is disgusting.

Fantastic experience: Nice relaxed gym. No egos or tripod selfie taking TikTok fools!. Enough equipment to do a all over body exercise. Great price, 5 minutes from home 2 minutes from work. The cleaning lady is a lovely woman management n staff really professional and helpful, very friendly. So far so good

Fantastic experience: I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a gym but I wanted to take some time to acknowledge 24/7 fitness Speke. I originally signed up last year however unfortunately ended up admitted to hospital then unable to workout for several months, I found the whole process of calling up and cancelling my membership very easy, smooth and fast. Same for when I did re start my contract again once I was given the all clear. I love that the gym is over different floors so it never feels too crowded even during peak hours. I also like that there is small team of staff who all seem very lovely and extremely approachable / knowledgeable to help explain equipment etc. I’ve never felt judged or embarrassed to try anything new at this gym and the variety of equipment means there is something for everybody… they even have a hip thrust machine which is the first one I’ve ever seen! Overall 5* and I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a gym, it’s open 24/7 too.. so no excuses!!

Positive experience: It would be a 5 star if it had a steam room/sauna in the changing rooms , and the showers are in need of an upgrade

Negative experience: Appalling. Grimey changing rooms with hardly any lockers that aren’t broken. Advertised as “Liverpool ladies” when actually there is a small room on the top floor that’s women’s only. In this room is a few machines and one bench. No treadmill/leg press. No music on. The windows are not frosted so not suitable for women who need to be modest. The building is freezing. To top it off the showers were cold, with a rusted basket inside to put your soap on. I may as well have gone to work out in someone’s garage.

Positive experience: Edit 06/01/2025 - I’m actually devastated this gym has now permanently closed. . - Quick and easy sign up process. The staff are lovely and have been really helpful. The equipment is in good condition, and there is everything you need for a proper workout. I don’t mind the layout, and think it’s good that there’s a Womens Only gym on the top floor. Couple of points I’d like to make are, I think there needs to be treadmills on the other floors as they can only be found on the first floor which was disappointing, as I was hoping there would be one in the Womens Gym upstairs. The music on the first floor was working of a night time, but recently has unfortunately not been switched on which is a bit of a mood killer if you forget your headphones. Had to edit this review and give it 3 star instead of 4. Hadn’t been in the summer, just found out there’s no aircon and a lack of fans. Bout to pass out cos it’s hotter than the surface of the sun.

Positive experience: Equipment is dated and the layout is a disaster. Leg equipment spread across 2 floors. Needs to be refreshed to compete with other mainstream gyms

Negative experience: Was going to join but its wrong in my opinion only having a female only section and not a male only as well to compliment it... Its my opinion.... I don't want to offend anyone, but it should have both. Before any one says anything, I agree that some people want to relax as best they can, as a male I want a male only section. Will I get arrested for saying this, im an out of shape male, I don't feel attractive, yet I feel I have to ignore everything and just get on with it, regarding feeing unworthy and depressed, sorry but that's how I feel, poor attitude from gym

Positive experience: I have gone this gym for many years, I love the layout and the fact that it's open 247 works around my busy times. I will be honest the gym stuff is a little out dated(like most gyms) and when the top of machines are broke they just tape it up in black tape! Definitely more fans/air cons scatted around the place would be nice to. People are nice who work their also and I wouldn't change moving from this gym, hopefully soon we see some updated equipment

Negative experience: Great gym! But shocking DD collection agency trying to get me to pay a charge and extra month after I had cancelled as instructed on the gyms own website. Collection agent then told me on the phone I had to notify them. Never heard anything like it and it doesn't say so on the gyms own website. Left a bad taste in my mouth after what was an enjoyable time at 247. Won't ever be returning. They need to look at that problem

Negative experience: Disgraceful place. Nothing to clean the machines. When I asked for cleaning materials I was advised to go the gym in the morning as that's when the cleaner cleans them. Corroded taps so can't fill up your water. Rude staff. Environmental health should take a visit

Positive experience: Great hours (24/7) as expected. Staff are great. I've been going for some years now. And some of the equipment is starting to get tired, but that's minor. Never too busy, and it's a fit for my lifestyle.

Positive experience: Secure, could do with more showers. Beware after leg day lots of stairs as the lift is out of order. Equipment looks OK. Does the job. Lots of choice and its 24 hours so no excuses.

Negative experience: Enough is enough, please get stuff fixed. Cute signs and duct tape only go so far. The gents loo on the second floor have been broke for 4 weeks. 10 items with duct tape, ripped pads, sign about being out of use. Duct tape only curls up then pulls and pinches. If you duct tape it, you know its broke. I'll re-review 5 stars when the stuff is fixed. Great gym otherwise.

But for the most part, good facilities. Enough equipment to not have much, if any, wait. Lots of classes. Studio available to use when no classes on.
