Our comment from FitFit UK about Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre:

Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre in Birmingham offers a variety of enjoyable activities for families, including a fun slide, wave pool, and plenty of float options for kids. Many visitors have praised the friendly and helpful staff, noting that the gym is well-equipped and the atmosphere is generally good.

However, there have been consistent concerns regarding hygiene and cleanliness. Multiple users have reported that the changing rooms and pool areas are often dirty, with unpleasant odors and inadequate shower facilities. Some commented on the overcrowding during busy times, leading to a less-than-ideal experience. The wave machine has also been noted to be frequently out of service, disappointing families hoping to enjoy this feature during their visit.

Despite the challenges, Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre remains a popular spot for families and gym-goers alike, especially during free swimming sessions. With improvements in cleanliness and maintenance, it has the potential to be an outstanding community resource.

  • Pros: Great facilities for kids, friendly staff, well-equipped gym.
  • Cons: Issues with cleanliness, overcrowded changing rooms, unreliable wave machine.

Negative experience: I was very disgusted with the level of hygiene in the swimming changing rooms Drains were black smells of urine and generally unclean .Very concerned for possible infection that could transpire as a result of such poor standards.I spoke to a member of staff who did not have the maturity to escalate my issues although she did agree with me. This is a great facility and it is such a shame that its poor hygiene will prevent me from returning .

Hi Phil, Thank you for your feedback. We are going to address this as a management team to hopefully improve our cleanliness in the future.

Jennifer Wunn 7 months ago

Positive experience: Fun but has negatives. The shower pressure seemed non existent when more than four people used them. There was hair in the pool and there was mud/dirt on the floor. Also the wave machine was not very strong. But the slide was fun and the kids loved the floats in the pool. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Negative experience: We paid £17 for the three of us to join the Family Fun Swim. We thought we'd have a change from our local pool, and was particularly looking forward to using the flume and wave machine. The session was 55 minutes. There was a constant queue for flume and we decided to make the most of the pool / waves etc rather than getting cold waiting in a queue. The wave machine was put on once during our session, which was disappointing. The changing rooms were dirty and over crowded, and it felt like there wasnt enough changing rooms for everyone. So people were hanging around getting cold waiting for a changing room to become free. All in all, it was just ok. But definitely not worth the £17.

Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre
Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre

Thank you for your feedback. All of our splash sessions are limited to 55minute due to the demand of the sessions. We are looking into fixing the traffic light system at the top of the flume to help reduce the queueing at the bottom of the stairs.

Positive experience: Nice swimming baths, could be improved and updated. Once getting out of the swimming bath, it was absolutely freezing, my little girl couldn’t stop dithering. The water was also in my opinion too cold for babies. I’m glad I didn’t take my little boy. The adults were even cold.

Fantastic experience: My go to gym and probably the best one out of the MORE gyms. Up to date equipment, big gym and nice and quiet. The pool is okay too but I have only used it once. The classes look really fun and always look packed so they must be good too!

Negative experience: I tried to cancel my membership because the service was getting worse and the pools are dirty and old, but nobody was answering the phone for 2 days. I tried many times over a 2 day period. Eventually I get through to someone and they say because I missed the deadline I will be charged for a further month (which I wouldn't have if they had answered the phone when I first called). Awful service and a cancellation policy that shows they need to do everything they can to get as much money out of you as possible.

Positive experience: Attended a party at the swimming baths this weekend and it was a lovely party. Most of the staff were lovely, particularly Sammi. Thank you for being so kind to my Mom. We just lost my dad a few weeks ago and I think just a conversation with someone other than me really cheered her up lol so thank you I hope life is as kind to you. Party was lovely, one or two others were a bit miserable given it was a kids party but a really lovely relaxed venue for it.

Positive experience: Gym great but music too loud, I mean 'choo choo come on and do the conga' please...no. My headphones can't compete. Plus not sure why no WiFi. Northfield has WiFi.

Jay Reilly 10 months ago

Positive experience: Cocks Moors is a genuinely good place to go swimming, however I can across one downside. Upon entering the swimming pool, a man named Dale Edwin kept shouting "my cock is more" at me. I guess it was meant to be funny but it didn't make sense. Anyway I've seen his todger and it's more small than more.

sam kojo jack 10 months ago

Positive experience: Go here frequently for about a year good atmosphere good ac helpful staff very few complications but the gym lacks equipment , there's wasted space , etc just could be better but very standard gym/leisure centre experience

Sarah Fisher 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: It was really good but would say it is more for younger children or children that like it not so crowded

Brett Aaron Hammond 10 months ago

Negative experience: Wow. I have been to swimming pools all over the UK and a lot of European countries as an avid swimmer but never have I been to a more gross pool than Cocks Moor. There is a grimy ring of filth that is around the pool at the water line and for good reason, nobody showers before they get into the pool! When I asked the front desk why nobody showered before getting into the pool I was told it was 'a cultural thing' and the pool staff were too busy in the lifeguard role to enforce the clearly visible signs that request that people shower before entering. Gross.

Negative experience: Not a bad gym if all the equipment works! Several treadmillls have been broken for weeks... .

Fantastic experience: My son had his party here today, I was blown away with how amazing it was!! The staff couldn’t do enough for us, everything was do relaxed snd easy, thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. The value for money is slso absolutely amazing! I ordered pizzas and chips in advance from the cafe, they were ready and perfect when we were, plenty of space for the food I had brought in. Honestly cannot fault this party! All the kids had a brilliant time and my son hasn’t stopped telling me what a great day he’s had! Thank you so much to all at Cocks Moors Woods, you made my son and his friends very happy indeed!!

Positive experience: Gym looks good. Different activities for keep fit, martial arts etc to sign up for. Great for the local community.

Nick Wilkinson 1 year ago

Negative experience: Cocks Moors Woods is a functioning leisure facility that gives your body the movement and fitness it needs, and since we got the new replacement showers in the swimming pool area, first degree burns I made a formal complaint about the dangerous state of the showers a few weeks back, and they clearly listened - over the bank holiday weekend they added five more showers of the same design - ensuring everyone, young and old, gets a chance to experience the life-affirming sensation of molten hot lava being dribbled over their heads

Negative experience: We have just played the golf course and it was in a terrible state , I know it not the clubs fault but motorbike tracks over at least 10 of the greens , look like they have been there for a while as no attempt to repair . The other 9 don’t look like they have had any care for months , no bins provided on most tees so we found a lot of drinks bottles n wrappers around , we haven’t played this course for a while but we all agreed not too return ..sorry

Mark Batsford 1 year ago

Negative experience: What a shame this course could be so good, the greens were disgusting, it looks as if motor bikes have ridden all over them, the tees are rubbish, the rough has been cut down and the long grass just left, and the bunkers have more weeds than sand……… very disappointing!

Negative experience: I am very disappointed with this summer’s intensive swimming lessons. They were a waste of time and money. I enrolled my son hoping he would have fun and improve his skills, but unfortunately, the opposite happened.

Positive experience: Hadn't been for a good while. Still the same great Cocks Moors! Place never changes though, I thought it may have been updated in some way. I still love the slide (do not change that) lol. None of the little extra waterworks like the tipping buckets were working or switched on, bit of a shame that. Also really gutted that the wave machine wasn't working and apparently hasn't been for months! Please get that fixed as it is a great feature. Hope you sort it out soon guys!

Megan Thompson 1 year ago

Negative experience: Attended this swimming pool today for the splash session. The pool was okay, nothing to be excited about. The floats were old, with bite marks in. The tipping buckets or tap features weren’t even on. My son was very excited about the water slide, which was the best feature of the place. However he is nearly 7, and couldn’t even go on by himself leading me to hurt my foot when i landed in the water. However, the wave machine wasn’t working and they even did the countdown which left my son feeling upset and disappointed. Staff weren’t friendly, and lifeguards were constantly blowing their whistles at nothing. My son can swim, and was told off for not being in close range of me. The changing rooms were chaos! Everyone was shouting, mess everywhere and general feelings of anxiety being in there. Overall, wouldn’t come again.

Diane Woods 1 year ago

Negative experience: The whole place needs a good clean. Ladies toilets near the pool smelt disgusting and filthy. Sink blocked. Showers cold.

Marwa Ali 1 year ago

Positive experience: Unfortunately, separate shower facilities are not available in the pool area.

James Taylor 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Great swimming baths, both my daughters did their swimming lessons here and I can’t recommend the staff enough! It does get extremely busy during the school holidays, they’ve just had all the showers replaced so they’re much better than what they were! You have to wear shoe covers if you’re poolside, but you buy these for 50p each at the reception

Jes 1 year ago

Negative experience: My family and I went there on Saturday. I was not impressed. It is the worst swimming baths I've ever been to in the whole of Birmimingham. Some of the facilities was not working. There's only 7 showers, so people were having to line up. No private shower cubicles. The pool was filthy. You could see that it had not been cleaned for a couple of years hence the heavy amount of chlorine that was in the water. The tiles were scummy with a heavy build up dirt, lime scale and mould. This needs urgent attention no amount of chlorine can make the scum go away but a good scrub down can. Now that is health and safety.

Negative experience: my friend and i went swimming and she got bitten on her bum swimming and came out with a big red lump.i want onto the slide and there was what looked to be black mold on the stairs and there was a little kid that sneezed and snot came flying out of his nose me and my baby sister evacuated the baby area as soon as we saw that the lifeguard saw and didn’t do anything the floors in the changing rooms are absolutely appalling to say the least there was dirt grime and filth in every tile i walked on.do not even get me started on the floats they had a unnatural smell, dirty around the edges, bite marks and the rings where discoloured and filthy. the water features was not working nor the wave pool.the staff were incompetent and rude i will never be returning so if swimming be careful something might bite u!!!!!

Jason Ashfield 1 year ago

Negative experience: Not a great experience, I appreciate it was the school holidays and it was incredibly busy but it was ridiculous...you could barely move let alone swim...they should cut the amount of people allowed in for each session, the other thing that drove me nuts was the lifeguards constantly using their whistles to tell people to stop doing things, I get it...how else are they supposed to warn people but it was beyond a joke.....every few seconds (not exaggerating here) one of them was blowing on their whistle....and from what i could tell it was for ridiculous things....they need to chill the hell out a little...way OTT!!! It made the entire session with my daughters a bad experience, sorry to say that its the last time I take them swimming here....in future I'll find a more relaxed less busy pool to go to

Negative experience: The changing rooms and toilets were filthy The toilets smelt of wee. When I told a member of staff he said it was because the sanitary bins needed changing. However the smell was urine not sanitary pads. Also the pool side was not clean. Very disappointed.

Brad Clarke 1 year ago

Negative experience: Absolute jobsworths. No way of contacting them directly to cancel your membership and when you do it yourself via your bank they’re quick enough to then contact you about additional fees and extra payments. No one answers the calls so there’s no need for that number and when they do eventually email you back they sent you to a completely different company which puts you on hold for hours. Absolute joke. Considering the facility’s are not cleaned very well and the state of the car park you’re better of swimming in the local canal it’d be far cleaner.

Adam Partridge 1 year ago

Negative experience: Same as the other reviews really. Really fond memories of coming here as a kid but came here again and the wave machine, giant tap and water buckets are all broken, the water's really cold and when the session comes to an end it's chaos in the changing rooms trying to get to a shower or a cubicle. This place could be really great but defo needs some work :(

Taku Mak 1 year ago

Positive experience: Basically is ok, staffs are helpful, and the pool is good for kids but not a profectional trainning adult. Not too big it would be a problem if there are too many people coming at the same time. And half of the main pool are booked by group. You may not enjoy a 25m swimming. Shower with warm water and heater indoor, it is nice enough for cool day. However only one thing I would really complain is the black mark on the floor is disgusting...

Sanober Bhojani 1 year ago

Negative experience: I'd give you a minus if I could. The lady serving the reception on Thursday today at 4:50pm is a racist.i dropped my kid at 4:30 and stood at the reception till 4:45 while she served someone. Someone came from the door during this time, she even asked me amidst helping the first pair what I wanted and I told her. When the pair finished and I moved up and repeated myself she said ok but I will help the other people first cuz they were there first. False. They are white and I'm in a hijab. This centre should be ashamed of such staff representing them! It's a real shame that in today's fwd world you employ people like this! As far as I know I pay my taxes and do my bit so no race or religion is above in anyway. Also your 5pm teacher hasn't updated my kids progress in 4 weeks which is what I was waiting to tell that despicable woman and change my kids class but I walked off after her behaviour. Shame!

Negative experience: The pool itself is well set up, with a baby area, main pool with large shallow areas, and a slide. Brilliant for family splashing. Staff are a nice and helpful. When we went in May 2024 though it was absolutely filthy. Black sludge all over the toilet floors, brown and grey stains all over the tiles throughout the pool area, and plenty of dirt floating in the pool water (sand, plasters, black bits of dirt). Sadly really spoilt our enjoyment of the pool.

WONKY TONKY 1 year ago

Negative experience: Receptionist was rude on arrival, swimming pool was filthy. Pool tiles were uneven and hurt my daughter when she came down the little slide. The tiles from the changing rooms to the pool were VERY slippy (one child slipped and hurt themselves) Overall not a good experience.

karen foulkkes 1 year ago

Positive experience: Great swimming pool with flats and slide. Not vert assessable for disabled people with few rails or steps. Baby pool had brown stains on the bottom of it this was off putting. Lovely place to sit by the pool with a cafe. Could do with a better selection of food items. Overall a good time had ideal for children.

Fantastic experience: I'm a minibus driver. I dropped off some students at the leisure centre today, while I was waiting for them, I had a coffee and a roll in the cafe. The young lady who served me at the cafe was so pleasant, friendly and couldn't do enough for her customers. Her name is Gurjit and she is a credit to the centre. Thank you Gurjit

Dean Baker 1 year ago

Negative experience: Went swimming today, was told wave machine was on, arrived reception assured us wave machine was ok. Got into the pool and lifeguard advised wave pool hasn't worked for months. Changing rooms could do with a clean, very over crowded especially when it's a booking only system. Car park was spacious though!

Negative experience: Open day week end- the worst I have aver attended. Apart from few classes(the basic ones)that needed booking, there was literally nothing organized. Not a representative of kickboxing, or karate, or tae kwondo, or anybody to give informations about their classes, taster courses were not available, just some posters with scanning codes. When asked about the open day program, the lady at the reception said all the information needed is on the site and she quickly dismissed that inquiring person. There is no information on the site. All is so vague. For Sunday, the only taster sessions held, are swimming lessons. No effort, no organization, no communication, the approach to attract local community is terrible. Really disappointing. It is the only leisure centre in the area, but the management is poor and this whole open week end situation has failed.

Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre
Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre

Thank you for your feedback. Our Open Weekend was aimed for the local community to come into the centre and get a feel of what its like to be in our centre. The childrens Swimming Lessons, Football lessons and Dance Classes were very popular with a lot of happy customers leaving the site with memberships. The gym was also open and free for adults to use at their own pleasure with the option to book onto fitness classes if there was still space. In regard to the external companies that hire our facilities such as Kickboxing and Karate, they were informed of the Open Weekend and it was up to them to provide their information out to the public too. You are welcome to come into our centre at anytime and ask about any of our facilities and we can point you in the right direction.

Negative experience: Dirty floors, cold showers, half the showers not working, sewage smell. Not enough changing rooms for the booked capacity. This pool and most of the facilities haven't been updated since the 90s when I used to swim here as a kid.

Fantastic experience: Cocks Moors Woods Roller Disco Fantastic facilities and so children/family friendly. The indoor skating is indoors (badminton courts), pass the gym and cafe. Staff are approachable and friendly. Amble free parking outside. Sunday session, the skate session starts at 3:45pm till 5:15pm and cash only. The staff are always available to give advice and help. The session has a great party atmosphere( lights are turn off and disco lights switched on) Skaters will skate in both directions (anti clockwise- clockwise every 10mins) Music ranges from pop chart to rock music. Ages for skaters start from 5yrs old and plenty of skates (quads and inlines ) to hire. £6:00p entry and £1:00p to hire skates if needed

Negative experience: Don’t bother, called up for assistance in cancelling my membership (it’s not obvious at all how to online) numerous times, over the span of 2 weeks and no answer. Obviously I’ve been charged now

Kelly Piff 1 year ago

Negative experience: Fed up of using this leisure centre. Pool is dirty, changing rooms are just as bad if not worse and 9/10 smells of urine. Inconsitancies with staff for child swimming lessons which in my opinion hindered my childs progression. When using be active scheme if not familiar with times DO NOT rely on staff as some will allow you to use it and others wont. They seem to make up the times as they go. Very embarrassing as I dont take money unless I need to so was not able to swim with child before lesson today but was able to before Christmas. Price to swim does not justify the service. Previously had a membership and like many others were caught out by the cancelling the contract. I enquired at reception before cancelling my direct debit to ensure all fees had been paid but still ended up with emails saying I hadn't paid it. When I challenged it I was refered to to the debt management team. No way of escalating probems correctly through website and front desk only know how to set up memebership payments.

Taukeer Ali 1 year ago

Negative experience: Hidden costs when you cancel your memberships! So me and my husband cancelled our memberships here as we just wanted to visit the pool over the summer. Cancelled over the phone and was told last payment will be coming out on so and so date and that we have a month left to use the facilities. So we thought ok great went down for a few more swims and then we were told we have to pay £55 fee cus we’ve cancelled and that we are not allowed to use any facilities until we do! There was no mention of this over the phone when we cancelled and I don’t understand what the £55 charge is for. Anyway we left and won’t be coming back next summer. Be careful what you pay for.

Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre
Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre

Hi Kerry, The wave machine is currently out of action and has been for a long time now. There is a problem with turning the waves on and then the electrics cut off. The slide is open during the week between 12-1 for Family Swim and over the weekend between 12-4 for our splash sessions. There are private showers in the dryside changing rooms for males and females, however the poolside showers are communial.

Negative experience: RIP OFF BE CAREFUL … I joined Leisure Centre on monthly rolling contract having freedom of cancelling whenever I want and that’s how they advertised on their website. So, No. 1, if you want to cancel, it’s not straight forward process, you either have to write an email or call another company to terminate your contract. No 2, I told them I want to cancel my membership and they said yes you can but with one month notice. Means I am forced to pay for another month even though I don’t need it. Very disappointed

Ehsan Rafiq 1 year ago

Negative experience: AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! At all costs. Me and a friend joined the leisure center a few months ago and recently we wanted to cancel. This is where I became aware of the scam that this leisure center has tried to pull. I was told in order to cancel my membership I'd have to speak to a third party company and I was given their number. After calling this number I was informed that the standard membership is a contract for 12 months even though there was no previous mention of this, and now in order to cancel I would need to pay the remainder of the 12 months. Of course I was beyond annoyed at this point due to the multiple hoops I was being made to jump through in order to do something as simple as cancelling a gym membership. After disputing this I was told to call another number and when I did so there was no answer and I was told to leave a voicemail which I did, I never got a call back and in the meantime another payment was deducted from my account for the membership. I cancelled the direct debit from my bank and a few weeks later I received a letter stating that I was liable to pay a fine of £60, no reason was given and on top of this, late fees were added even though I tried multiple times to get in contact with them to dispute this and I never received any reply. It's a scam to get money from you, the letter stated that they would be taking legal action if this isn't paid. Honestly the whole experience was a disaster and this leisure center is a shambles, everytime I try and call nobody answers. It shouldn't be this hard to cancel a membership and all these hidden fees and contracts should be explained clearly. Run as far away as you can from this company and don't bother getting into a contract with them. Avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: **New visitor information** This leisure centre closes to the public at 4pm at the weekends, for private parties. This information should be included in the opening hours to save others the disappointment we faced after a long bus ride from the city centre.

Fantastic experience: Good leisure centre, but In the 8to9 slot non swimming women tend to stand In the middle of the pool chatting ,blocking people from swimming across .

Natasha Lawrence 2 years ago

Positive experience: It’s a nice leisure centre the pool and slide are nice. I was amazed by the lifeguards with actual aids to help save you if drowning looking very professional they look like they take their job’s seriously which is great. A little hello or a smile would’ve been nice from the lifeguards but we can’t have it all. The shower facilities and changing area not great for the amount of people they have in the pool had to wait in line for the showers then to get a cubicle, besides that nice place.

Negative experience: My daughter loved the variety of floats. However, It’s the most filthiest swimming baths I’ve attended. Hygiene is very poor. Sorry.

Negative experience: Vile and predatory behaviour in the changing rooms here. Young teenagers were screaming and hollering in the changing room, then one jumped up so he could see over the stall door while me and my partner were getting changed. Staff gave us a refund straightaway but clear they'd dealt with other complaints and were tired of it too. Management, wake up and do something before someone gets the police/council involved.

Negative experience: I took my daughter this afternoon because she wanted to use the water slide and experience the wave pool after they were closed last time. Both were closed again. The pool area wasn't very clean and there seemed to be a bad smell in there too. A real shame as it used to be a great place to go

Negative experience: Arrived at 8.30 on a Sunday morning for a family swim. Staff were friendly, but the changing rooms were already filthy, clumps of hair in the showers, dirty foot prints in the pool area, hair around pool, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. People were walking with outdoor shoes straight from cafe area into the pool area, including staff. Showers were way too hot for the kids to use for more than a few seconds. We usually use Fox Hollies, and hadn't been to cocks moors for a little while - really disappointed.

Negative experience: I had to ask twice for my membership number to be taken, and have looked on my app to see they still didn't record my number!!!! I can't book online now until the end of the month!!!!! as other added strikes which were incorrectly added have not been removed. I attended Cocks Moor on the 19th August, as I couldn't get a lane swim slot at my local Leisure Centre. The pool water had multiple bits floating around in it, so not a pleasant experience and I wasn't even able to report the problem to the reception on the way out as it was not manned. I had to drive quite a distance from my home to get to this Leisure Centre, so won't go back again unless I am desperate in the future.

Negative experience: Needles on the course, no ball cleaners, overgrown grass on fairways, dog walkers leaving mess, no sand in bunkers, bike marks on the greens, rude staff, randoms smoking drugs in the bushes and rubbish all over the course. Should be shut down. The course is a hazard and trees are falling apart. If I give zero stars I would.

Negative experience: You get what you pay for here in the swimming pool. It's really dated, the changing areas are grubby (people don't follow the no outdoor shoes rule in the changing rooms) and the pool is like a primordial soup. There are upsides though. Evening lane swimming is generally quiet in term time, especially the women only session on a Wednesday night. If you're not that confident it's great as the pool is not deep, the deep end is only 1.5m deep. The school holidays are a bit of a nightmare though even for lane swimming. It gets so crowded families encroach in the lanes and won't move. I'm sure the lifeguards are safe, but they are pretty useless at encouraging them into the splash area. The reception staff are friendly and smiley. Having said all that negative stuff we keep going back at £6 a pop and haven't caught anything yet!

Negative experience: Disgusting.. The place feels and looks filthy, entering the pool area there's a horrible smell (not chlorine) and I was bitten by something.. 6 showers is not enough for the amount of people allowed in the pool and the toilets are disgusting.

Negative experience: They never never never answer . I tried 3 months few times a week and never answered When you go to the centre they will keep directing you to the website because they lack information or are lazy to help you . The website it’s not helpful when you need specific information or when it doesn’t allow you to book a class etc and then I have to physically come into the centre miles away. Shame as I am a member here and I enjoy some classes

Positive experience: I Like it, but it is lil bit to dirty. Not enough showers. Waves not working. Too long to wait for slide. There could be two lifeguards for slide. One on top and one on exit, and people waiting in cue on stairs, not before stairs.

Fantastic experience: Me and my partner take our boys swimming here every Sunday morning to the family swim session and they absolutely love it. The boys are 5 years and 2 years.

Negative experience: Worst unhygienic swimming pool and changing area i have come across. one day in the pool and i seem to have taken a whole load of illnesses. Pool changing rooms are disgusting and poolside staff are extremely rude. No chance im signing up to this place and to think people take their babies her for swimming lessons.. MY GOD

Negative experience: Can only comment about the pool. Not great, changing rooms are filthy, as are the toilets. The pool area doesn't smell too great. Won't be returning.

Negative experience: Went family session no water slides no wave machine children pool was roped off

Joseph Bayliss 2 years ago

Negative experience: The most disgusting experience. Swimming pool dirty, stinks of wee and dangerously overcrowded. Once the whistle is blown you have hundreds herding for the four showers available which we had to skip in the end and then we had to fight our way to find a tiny cubicle which all four of us had to share. Another poor decision was to use the toilets on the way out, toilets roll, pee etc everywhere. About the only positive thing is the parking is free

Robert Wilson 2 years ago

Negative experience: Coffee from the cafe is pretty awful, and there aren't enough family changing rooms - we ended up having to change in the disabled toilet as all other cubicles were taken. Sadly, the wave pool wasn't working either and the queue for the water slide was quite long - it seemed like there were far too many people in the pool at one time, as you could barely move around. Cleanliness-wise, there was a lot of dirt and grit visible along the pool.

Negative experience: Have been many times before, last visit changing room floor was filthy/ disgusting, toilets even worse very strong smell of urine floor that wet you could paddle in it , sat in baby pool with my young granddaughter and all you could smell was urine not a good experience at all, also they don’t do food anymore!

Amirah Ali 2 years ago

Negative experience: Smells like urine around the pool area and the pool is dirty. Not a great fan of the mixed changing rooms, feels like there is no privacy. However, it will do when there is nothing else nearby

Vix 2 years ago

Positive experience: We really enjoyed our visit, loads of parking. The changing rooms were ok, bit cramped and could do with more regular floor cleaning but not the worst. The pool is a great size and they manage the number of people well so it doesn't feel crowded. Loads of floats and a good slide.

Queen Dee 2 years ago

Positive experience: Lifeguards were awesome. Really friendly to my 2 year old. Pool seemed quite clean, the changing rooms not so much. Even the guy at the counter where we paid was really nice and said to my daughter to have a good time. Will definitely be coming back. Little one had a blast and the toddler pool was just right

Fantastic experience: I am incredibly delighted with the exceptional customer service provided at this facility! The children enjoy the water play. Ideal for young children, the standard family swimming area offers varying water depths. People regularly visit this place with their children. The staff members were helpful.

Robert John 2 years ago

Negative experience: Do not have swimming lessons here. If it was up to them they would have your child doing lessons until they’re 37. A completely opaque system and just not good enough. I got fed up with seeing my child standing in the pool not swimming during lessons. We cancelled it and then they rip you off with cancellation fees. Poor staff on the whole, poor organisation and set up to rip parents off. Far better going with someone else who isn’t trying to milk you and your kid for as much cash as they can get. Ran by crooks.

Mehwish Imran 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: Absolutely thrilled with the customer service at this place ! I have an autistic child who loves water play, but gets really overwhelmed with noise and by people. I told Nick this and he very quickly accommodated, allowed us to use the changing room away from the noise- it made our experience so much joy able! Since, we have been going regularly with the children - thank you Nick for listening and making things possible! He definitely is someone that has clear passion for what he does

xxHJroundxx 2 years ago

Positive experience: Great pool but given you have a time limit for the time in the pool so everyone comes out at the same time there aren't enough changing rooms to go round so we were waiting around for 1 to become free

Kelly Corcoran 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place for swimming, there are many floats to play with, a giant slide and a cute lil baby area with slide and other toys. The main pool is actually so nice, the wave machine is awesome. My only issue is the toilets are always grimey and smell horrific
