Foundry Gym Kings Heath Birmingham

Fantastic experience: First time in a Gym, Josh behind the counter went out of his way to take me through the complete gym, telling me about the range of equipment and some of the ways to incorporate them. Asked me a range of questions, which I was seeking at answer to personalise my experience. Guy was really professional and enjoyable to talk to, even helped me to get started and made me extremely comfortable and relaxed to exercise. I really can’t stress enough how much of a pleasure it was to come to this gym. Thank you Foundry Gym! Will be coming back regularly :)

Negative experience: Gym is becoming neglected by owners. No water station for members and the changing facilities still not refurbished inspite of repeated promises by owner. The gym is also becoming a instagram fairground, with members coming in fancy dress or scantily clad and spending hours setting up their tripods whilst taking up space when the gym is already packed. Considering leaving.

Negative experience: The pros, it's a big, spacious gym, the cons however some of the machines are not adequate, they are battered and could do with a upgrade. Now the biggest let down is, how does this gym not have a single socket, how am I supposed to dry my hair or charge my phone, they have no lockers. Which again not leaving my personal belongings for anyone to rummage through. If you want to go in, do a quick work out, with out using anything extra, then it's fine. But if your phone dies, or you take a shower and want to dry hair, or if you have any valuables. Then don't go

Positive experience: I have no problem with the gym, good equipment great atmosphere good music. The only problem is I can me this morning at 3am and the pin system wasn’t working, this is not the first time it’s happened. Why be open 24 7 and on days you’re not guaranteed to get in, this is the only disappointing thing for me. This needs to be sorted.

Fantastic experience: This gym can only be described as one of the best in the game. This is the best gym I’ve been too in terms of equipment and staff. The machinery is exceptional and the staff are even better. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Stevie and Dean are great at pushing your limits and will make you work until you drop. Stevies hit class on a Tuesday gets your heart going and has a great vibe to the session. Dean will push you to the end even if you have nothing left. Honestly this gym is one of the best around.

Fantastic experience: As far as gyms go, this has to be the best in Birmingham by far. Location is spot on with plenty of parking throughout the day. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere’s amazing and there’s always someone around who’ll help if you need advice or tips. A proper gym for all abilities.

Positive experience: It’s a great Gym but recently they seem to have let the place slip a little. The showers have been out of order for three weeks at least and that just happened to coincide with some of the hottest weather. We’ve had no notice of how long they’re gonna be out of order and we can’t shower before work, also some of the machines have been broken for up to 2 weeks no sign of the machine being fixed but the staff are all working very hard on opening a new Gym In another area, look after the first you’ve got remember where you started before you worry about jumping onto the next one

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with great staff. Hamid and the team will help and assist to make you feel comfortable within the gym. The equipment is second to none and there is plenty of it. Spacious gym with a lot of room for you to tailor your workouts to suit you. Supplements and drinks available to buy at all times, plenty of free classes and a real community feel to this gym. There is CCTV within the gym ensuring all members feel safe at all times. Finger print entry to the gym helps me feel safe to workout here. The location is a bonus as it is situated in the heart of the high street so I am able to pick stuff from Holland and Barrett’s on the way home. Also opened 24/7 so you’re able to visit whenever suits you.

Fantastic experience: The Foundry Gym is a great place to train. The equipment is fit for purpose and always in working order. The gym itself it’s spacious enough to use free weights and barbells in peak times. Management are perfect. Hamid and the team are always assisting and available. There is a finger print system for entry and CCTV ensuring I feel safe at all times. There are a range of drinks, pre workouts by the scoop and tubs of supplements available to buy as and when you need. I really can’t fault this gym and its location is a bonus!
