Negative experience: Came to toddlers world. My 2yr old fell from a height next to the trampoline within 5 minutes as poorly coloured flooring hurting his knees. I told the staff member who didn’t seem bothered in my opinion, said it would be too expensive to change the colours to make the drop stand out more and said I should’ve been keeping a closer eye on my child. Wasn’t impressed in my opinion.

Negative experience: Rude staff who intimidate kids, air con always off, dated equipment, like another reviewer stated the changing room is creepy, really bad vibe in this gym. Bad management & complaints get ignored.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Its never too busy, they have all the equipment you would need and it is always clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have a heavy punching bag which is great.

Positive experience: I went to the soft play session which took place in the gym. The trampoline is amazing, other toys might be the best for smaller children, but my 3.5 year old enjoyed it, walked around and played with foam blocks.

Negative experience: Be warned, they are now issuing fines for parking, even if you have paid to use their facilities. There are no signs in or outside the building - or anything said by the receptionist - to let people know of this new policy. I received 2 fines on the same day, 1 month after the occurrence. £200 so far, and I've already parked more times since. Anyone with a brain knows that the lack of notice and the delayed penalty charge is deliberate. How shameful for a council leisure centre to rip people off like this. I guarantee you they will make more from parking fines than the leisure centre itself. If this isn't a sign to leave the country, I don't know what is.

Negative experience: I ve booked gymnastics class for my daughter , she is 3 and a half , we were so excited and Look forward for the first class, but our excitment was fast gone when we went in the class and the teacher didnt Even looked at us Even though it was obvious we were new, as she smiled and Said hello to the other 3 mom there , she started the class without my daughter and i had to intrerupt her telling her we are new , we dont know what we should do , she Said Take her socks off and again went running, she didnt Even introduce herself , she didnt tried to introduce my daughter to the other 3 children , she was just doing her hour , thinking a 3 yrs old would just go running after her … very bad experience, very rude teacher , and very dirty place , i couldnt Even breath in That gymnastic class, disgusting place , i wouldnt Even go there for one minute… one because for me as an adult its not normal to go to a place where the teacher doesnt Even care about a student , doesnt introduce herself , let alone the class was for a 3 Year old , and because the place is disgusting…

Negative experience: Extremely unpleasant members of staff during the toddler time. Completely unaccommodating for anyone with multiple children. I wanted to place my 6 month old in his buggy, asleep, in the corner of the room and was told this was not allowed so we had to leave making it hard enough already to move around and accommodate two children during the summer holidays.I will not be returning.

Negative experience: I am very angry today. I came to practice in the morning, and the gym was terribly dirty. It has never been so disgusting to be in. The exercise equipment is sticky, the mats seem to be rubbed with grease, the floor is dirty. I've visited the gym in bad weather and during rush hours, but my sneakers have never been so dirty from one session. In the hall below, the covering on the floor has deteriorated, which is dangerous for visitors. And all the administration did was stick a tape so that people could see the danger zone. Can't repair the floor in time? But you can withdraw the monthly fee on time. Can I also pay later when I find the money? Bring the gym into a proper and safe condition. Clean it, refurbish, paint the walls, add mirrors (it is impossible to look at yourself and see if you are doing the exercise correctly). Another significant minus is the children's membership. It should also be separate. That is, my 4-year-old son should have a separate postal address, really? where is the logic? I wanted to register my child for gymnastics. Payment for the first month was £78, and each next month is £32. How is it possible? And this is for one lesson per week lasting 35 minutes. There must be at least two classes per week, then there will be an effect for the child.

Negative experience: No air con very difficult to workout

Negative experience: Oh, Barnet Copthall Leisure Centre, where do I even begin? This place is a prime example of customer disappointment. I recently registered for an adult membership, thinking I could enjoy some quality time with my little boy as kids under 5 can enter for free. But guess what? They conveniently limit the hours for kids, making it nearly impossible for working parents to take their children swimming which wasn't explained on their website. Can you believe it? They restrict access for family swim from 8:00 in the morning until 4 o'clock in the afternoon, precisely when parents are busy with work and kids are at school. How thoughtful of them! So, after a long day I've registered for membership and decided to bring my little one around 4:30, thinking we could have a nice swim together. But no, that was wishful thinking. The receptionist initially let us in, but the real trouble started when we couldn't find a place to swim despite having three swim pools. My little boy and I had the pleasure of being rudely shuffled from one swimming pool to another, only to discover in the end that we couldn't swim in any of the three pools. How absolutely delightful! We had to argue with the duty manager for a good 15 minutes just to figure out why we were denied access. It's like they enjoy making their NEW members feel unwelcome and frustrated. And get this, their solution to the problem is to force parents to pay for a separate kids membership. For a whopping £38, you get the privilege of half an hour a week for your child. Isn't that absurd? The amount of aggravation caused to both me and my little boy is simply unacceptable. Needless to say, I promptly cancelled my membership on the spot. It's clear that Barnet Copthall Leisure Centre fails to prioritise customer satisfaction and fails to provide a welcoming environment for families. Remember! You truly get what you pay for, and in this case, it's a whole lot of disappointment and aggravation. Stay far away from this place if you value your sanity and your hard-earned money.

Positive experience: Limited parking, if busy can be challenging but the premises is not bad. They also have facility for tables tennis.

Fantastic experience: Close to Brent Cross shopping centre and also a walking distance from Brent Cross station. This venue isn't very new but I love the colour of the walls (sky blue) as opposed to white which is more common in new halls nowadays. Great venue for badminton plays. Also, the staff set up the post perfectly, which doesn't always happen in other places!

Negative experience: Worst gym ever. No discipline and dirty courts

Fantastic experience: It's a good place, with professional coaches a perfect choice for your kids to start performing gymnastics, trampoline or for your because you have so many activities to choose

Positive experience: Could be set up slightly better in relation to customer service. But they hold a few clubs for children i.e gymnastics etc pricing is relatively reasonable and gymnasium seemed clean.

Negative experience: This gym used to be excellent, but unfortunately, over the past few months, its condition has deteriorated. Please note that during peak hours in the evening, there are random classes held in the gym area, which tend to occupy most of the mats and other equipment, making it challenging to access them.

Fantastic experience: Very good. The pool is the beat in the area

Negative experience: I don't know what kind of gym this is, one day it is open, one day it is closed, one day it starts at 8 o'clock, one day it starts at 6, there is no order at all. I pay 25 pounds per month , which is more than pure gym, but the hours are irregular and the equipment inside is not standard and not even perfect. You can't find a situp bench in this gym. The only reason I go to this gym out of necessity is because it's close to my home.

Negative experience: Waited at reception for 10 minutes ring bell nobody came

Positive experience: Great place, use to train gymnastics there, now train trampolining there.

Positive experience: Good neighbourhood gym from £27/month. I only wish they offered more fitness classes and reduced the 4-hour cancellation policy to 1 hour or even 30mn. I also think that they should close later than 6pm on Saturdays. It is too early. This Leisure Centre also has a gymnastics facility and volleyball and badminton courts. The fitness studios are also available for private hire, when not in use. ‍♀️⛹️‍♀️

Negative experience: I went to the gym and a guy quite short curly hair approached me and tried to steal weights off me claiming he’ll buy his visa wid it

Positive experience: very limited facilities. regret of paying for one month. and the funny thing is I bought only 19 days, but they still charged one month fee. anyway, will change to another.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Hendon Leisure centre for four years for adults gymnastics and I absolutely love the facilities, but most of all the friendly and motivating coaches. I've learned so much in my time there and have always felt supported and cared for. Many thanks to the great team!

Positive experience: Not easy to follow the google map instructions. The club persons are very professional. Very efficient and very helpful. Sorted the swab anti virus test. Very useful facility.

Negative experience: My daughter was stuck in the same level for over 3 years. They dont do a good assessment her mark went up and down for 8 assessment. Its a way to grab your money!! Most of the gymnastics coaches are not even qualify to teach. The same guy who clean the toilet also teaches gymnastics with no experience whatsoever.

Negative experience: Extremely basic gym if you are a free weights gym user. Not enough equipment or extremely limited. I probably got spoiled by pure gym it had more than you need

Negative experience: Despicable people, advertising the place for children parties and then send parking tickets for parents who attend the party. What an interesting technique to generate income. DON'T FALL FOR IT, use a different centre for your party or suffer the consequences!

Negative experience: We will not be returning to the toddler world sessions. The staff were particular unfriendly. We have been to other play gyms which were a much more pleasant experience.

Positive experience: Nice and friendly staff but the waiting time in calls are CRAZY also to book online is probably the most difficult thing I've encountered during my life I just cant I want to book 1 badminton session and it just won't wouldn't reccomend to anyone try at your own risk

Negative experience: EDIT: its 6:50am and me and other 8 people are waiting for someone to open the door. WOW. Also even the people who work there leave all the resistance equipment loaded to the point where even being really strong I’m not able to use the squat rack etc because I can’t lift it.

Fantastic experience: In the process of an extensive refurbishment, this leisure centre has a quality staff team who are friendly and helpful. The gym facilities are much improved and the new changing rooms are good. I have not used the halls but there is consistent use of the whole site and you only see and hear good things. Excellent and the gym is a good price. there is no swimming pool but you can't have everything

Fantastic experience: Joined today and couldn't be happier. Gym looks more modern than when I first joined 23 years ago. Training room, properly air conditioned and the whole place has a new look, And staff Anil and Chris were very welcoming and helpful.

Negative experience: Very unhappy with the service today. Me and my friends gathered to go to this gym together because it was the closest one to our homes. We go in, they let us start the workout and then come to tell us that the gym cannot be used until 11:30 am (exactly the time one of my friends started work). We had to leave after having started. As for the facilities, not very impressed to be honest. I’m sorry Better but I’m changing my subscription. Very very disappointed.

Negative experience: I've been there a couple of times to try to get to the climbing wall. First time the climbing wall was closed cause apparently it's open just for few days every week, no mention about that in the opening times website. The second time I've called them 30 min before getting there,they confirmed me that day at that time it was open.... ...when I arrived there it was closed again!

Negative experience: For anyone, who just started lifting weights the gym should suffice. That's about it. Don't let the entrance to the gym trick you, while they spend 'N' loads of money on treadmills, exercise bikes and other cardio machines, the weightlifting equipment is far from adequate. First, the size of the lifting room is close to my living room. Second, there's only one olympic barbell. Let that sink in. There is one barbell for Deadlifts, Squats, Bench Press or any other compound exercises requiring heavy equipment. That's not all. Not only that you can barely wrestle to that barbel, the maximum weight you can put on is 90kg. Third, if I remember correctly the dumbbells range from 4kg to 32kg. Taking into account that there's only one bar, dumbbells are usually occupied too. Nonetheless, the system is clever as hell here. You can't even sign up for just one month. You are obligated pay for the first and last months, which means that if you don't the environment you still have to stay there for at least two months. Waste of your money....

Positive experience: Gymnastics classes for kids of all levels. A good, basic facility. decent enough, though not always attentive instruction for the young ones. Nothing nice to distract the parents while they wait

Positive experience: New sport and fitness equipment, free parking, some dust here and there, Tesco superstore near by.

Fantastic experience: Very good gym. Verity of machines. Not too much crowded. A lot of weight machines. Good staff. Clean and new equipment. A lot of activities area. Climbing area. Gymnasium area. Bad bit are they do not have swimming pool. But other branches has pool. Price is also not too much. I recon it. Batter than fitness first and other high priced gyms.

Negative experience: Rude staff!!!! The lady told me there was a space. I went down with the payment, she then said the space had gone. My daughter was so upset, I don't find it fair. All gymnasts should have to do an assessment to asses each individuals ability! You could be missing out on a talented gymnast and a loss of customers due to lack of customer support and communication.

Negative experience: Very dirty... Nowhere any cleaning spray or wipes. Yes it's cheap but not worth it at all.

Positive experience: Sunday 9-11.30 - only women have acces? Showers are disgusting. I always have to take a shower at home. Price is only 20 Pounds but I know so much better places for this amount. But it's the only gym in neighbourhood so I attend to it. Gym is quite fine. Maybe they should buy another bench press and the mirror for the squats. I would suggest to open it at 7 am.

Positive experience: Good gym and plenty of facilities. The only downside is that the evening gym staff are very rude which is a shame.

Positive experience: Fantastic value when compared to other providers out there - We are gym-only members which is about £20 a month. The facilities are modern, comfortable and in my experience, never overly busy. There are staff on hand if you need help but unlike other gyms they won't try and sign you up for personal training. The rest of the facilities include a sports hall (for badminton, football, basketball etc), a well equipped gymnasium, a climbing wall, table tennis and rooms for classes (the times for which are handily put up on their Google place page).
