Our comment from FitFit UK about Nuffield Health Edinburgh Omni Fitness & Wellbeing Gym:
Welcome to Nuffield Health Edinburgh Omni Fitness & Wellbeing Gym, one of the most popular fitness centres in Edinburgh, renowned for its friendly staff and extensive facilities. Despite some recent challenges, many members appreciate the cleanliness of the gym and the fantastic customer service provided by the team.
Key features include:
- Friendly Staff: The staff members are frequently mentioned as welcoming and professional, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere.
- Good Equipment: The gym offers a good variety of equipment suitable for most workout routines, with plenty of open space for members.
- Convenient Location: Situated in a central location with free parking available during certain hours, making it accessible for members from all over the city.
- Pool Facilities: The pool area, while sometimes in need of maintenance, provides a relaxing environment for swimming.
However, recent feedback highlights several areas needing improvement:
- Cleanliness & Maintenance: There are ongoing concerns regarding the cleanliness of changing rooms, showers, and equipment, as well as reports of broken facilities remaining unfixed for extended periods.
- Service Reductions: Many members express disappointment over the removal of services such as the jacuzzi and towel service, feeling that these changes do not justify the rising membership fees.
- Overcrowding: Feedback suggests that the gym can feel overcrowded during peak times, making it difficult to access equipment.
In summary, while Nuffield Health Edinburgh Omni has its strengths, including excellent staff and good equipment, there are significant concerns regarding service reductions and facility maintenance that potential members should consider.

Nuffield Health Edinburgh Omni Fitness & Wellbeing Gym: Opinions
Fantastic experience: The cleanest gym in a busy fitness place I’ve been to Edinburgh. Don’t be influenced by the poorly rated reviews, try it out yourself as I think they’re not fair at all. Staff are lovely, well air conditioned, clean bathrooms & gym space. Glad to have found my new regular gym!
Negative experience: No towels any more but higher pricing. Gym is never as clean or maintained as it should be
Negative experience: I’m giving this gym one star because I can’t give zero. It’s honestly terrible. Not only have they raised their prices, but they’ve also slashed services. First, they closed the jacuzzi, then removed the towels, cancelled classes, and to top it all off, they changed the saunas (and not for the better). The maintenance and cleanliness of the place are a joke. I emailed them to find out how to cancel my membership, and they just did it without any notice or time for me to find another gym. Clearly, they don’t care about their customers. It’s more convenient for them if someone like me, who was paying less than the current rate, leaves so they can make more money off new members. They don’t care about the people or how long you’ve been a member — they just want your money, and all you get in return is awful service, ironically.
Negative experience: Couldn't recommend less. The staff are really lovely and professional - absolutely no issues there. But the bosses are clearly intent on stripping away anything good about it as long as it makes them more money. Every few months there's some new thing - closing the sauna for hours during the middle of the day on Sunday (of all days??) for cleaning, getting rid of towels, increasing membership fees again and again. The gym itself is really nothing special, and the changing rooms constantly have issues - toilets or swimsuit dryers out of order, genuinely horrific smells from the backed up plumbing in the showers. You would be better off at almost literally any other gym in Edinburgh - I'd avoid!
Negative experience: Unfortunately the only good thing I have to say about this gym is that the staff are friendly and helpful. I have two main issues with this gym. 1. Price: The price keeps increasing at the same time as they are taking away facilities, meaning you are paying increasingly more for increasingly less! They have taken away the jacuzzi and the towel service. Both of these facilities made the premium price justified in the past. However, now you continue to pay the price of a luxury gym when this gym is the furthest thing from luxury. 2. Classes: It is near impossible to book most classes, unless you are available at the last minute for a cancellation. If you do go on the cancellation list and a slot comes available shortly before the class starts, but it is now too short notice for you to make it, you get a strike for not attending. 3 strikes and you are banned from booking classes for a week. I can understand getting a strike if you do not attend a pre booked class, but this is ridiculous when you’re on a cancellation list and notified of a spot an hour before the class. I have cancelled my membership and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!
Negative experience: The steady erosion of services whilst upping the prices makes it feel humiliating to continue a membership there.
Negative experience: Disappointed with Service and Unfair Pricing Policy I am very disappointed with this gym for multiple reasons. Firstly, I recently received an email informing me that the monthly price for my membership will increase starting January 2025. I have a yearly subscription that I pay monthly, and I was under the impression that choosing a yearly membership would lock in my rate for the year as a sign of loyalty. However, when I sought clarification at the desk, I was told that even my yearly subscription will be affected by the price hike, which feels unfair and deceptive. To make matters worse, I cannot even cancel my subscription despite the price increase, which adds to the frustration. Secondly, the facility's maintenance and cleanliness are severely lacking. The sinks and showers are often extremely dirty, and many of the machines are broken. It's not uncommon to find that there are no towels available to disinfect the equipment, which is a basic hygiene expectation. Additionally, the gym has closed on multiple occasions without prior notification to all members, citing drainage issues. Even when it is open, some equipment is frequently unusable due to the same drainage problems. This lack of communication and ongoing infrastructure issues make the overall experience very frustrating. As a paying member, I expected better from this gym in terms of transparency, cleanliness, and maintenance. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it to others based on my experience.
Negative experience: Just been told my membership fee will rise by 8% per month. I understand operating costs may have increased but when the facilities don’t feel like they are being improved and inflation is now way below this, the increase feels excessive and unjustified.
Negative experience: I have been a member of this gym for 8 years and the services go downhill. The place is extremely dirty, especially the sinks and the showers. They do not enforce the no-overnight locker-use policy which means, people leave their stuff there overnight blocking lockers. Many of the devices are broken. Sometimes there are not even towels to disinfect the machines. The ceiling in the ladies' changing room has not been repaired for a almost two years. They close the gym unancounced because of drainage problems and fails to notify some members. This place is a disgrace and in utter squalor. It should be shut down for HAS reasons and be redone from scratch. A place like this would never be allowed to be open to members of the public.
Positive experience: The pool is generally well maintained and looked after. There have been problems with the underwater lights “falling out” of the wall in recent months, often taking a length of time to be fixed, but for the time being this seems to be resolved. Temperature fluctuates a bit, but is generally comfortable for longer/harder training sets. Just be careful so as to avoid the “busy” times when either swimming lessons and/or aqua-aerobics are on - it’s worth speaking to reception to get the timetable for these The changing rooms and showers could do with some love. From speaking with staff at the centre I understand the premises upstairs/rest of Omni centre building have frequent leaks/plumbing problems, as Nuffield is downstairs, they end up with the consequences. It’s not uncommon to see rotted wooden fixtures in the lockers, damp patches on the ceiling throughout, or indeed buckets setup under holes in the ceiling to catch the leaks. Sauna and steam room are good, if a bit crowded at times. I never experienced the older segregated steam room/saunas nor the jacuzzi therefore can’t comment on these. Unfortunately yesterday (Saturday 9th Nov) the venue shut for 2nd time in a month, due to leaks/plumbing issues. As I’ve got a multi-site membership I was able to go to Fountain Park, which, while seemingly better maintained than the Omni, is certainly more family oriented - the Omni is adult-only afaik. The pool is smaller and significantly warmer (too warm for training sets to be honest). So it’s a mixed bag really. Given I’m there 4 or 5 days/week, it’s much better value than any Edinburgh leisure pool, it’s easy to get to and the opening hours are “good enough”. Being open slightly earlier than 6.30am would be useful to be honest, but this may be a limitation of it being within the Omni centre building. Hopefully the persistent plumbing issues get sorted soon and Nuffield Management invest in the changing rooms to bring them up to spec. I understand their reluctance to spend cash just now, while the underlying problem that’s wrecked the current changing rooms remain.
Negative experience: That's twice it's had to close and you get a text without a reason. I can only go on the weekend, so that's twice in a month, around 25% of the time I'm able to go it's closed. The gym is pretty good, other than the smell in the showers.
Fantastic experience: Great gym, really lovely staff, cafe well priced, lots of equipment, rarely any out of use equipment
Fantastic experience: Staff make the place and after all the cutbacks, they've finally whacked the steam room on full blast. Thanks
Negative experience: Used Nuffield as it is one of the larger, better equipped gyms in the city, but their offering is poor in comparison to those outwith Edinburgh. Peak times in the gym are so busy that it’s impossible to access equipment, and opening hours are restrictive to the extent it’s challenging to work round this. Cleanliness is generally fairly poor, with locker room areas in a poor state, and judging by other comments it seems like they have been that way for some time. Emailed to cancel my membership to which I received no reply, so I cancelled my direct debit. Was contacted over a month later to seek payment for a month of membership that I couldn’t and wouldn’t use due to relocating over an hour away. My cancellation email had missed the month cut off by a week. Gyms holding members to punitive contracts with no discretion is a theme and unfortunately Nuffield is no exception.
Negative experience: BIG disappointment. A couple of weeks ago the police was at the gym because someone stole a backpack from the locker room. Today someone stole my towel while I was enjoying some relaxing time at the steam and sauna. The answer they gave to me was a used wet towel so I could “dry” myself. That’s what one of the most expensive facilities in Edinburgh has to offer.
Negative experience: Just got back from the Omni centre Edinburgh branch. I got a 1 day pass. I walked out after being spoken to so rudely while filling out the form and asked why I have to give my DOB and email as I'm only here for 1 class and to look around and he said I won't be allowed in unless I fill out all my details and we need to know how fit you are! I asked him, how are you going to know that from my DOB, he responded rudely so I said I'm not interested and walked out. I wouldn't step back in there, he clearly has an attitude and only cater for a type of people! Figure that out.
Good morning Caz, thank you for your recent review. We appreciate all feedback and are grateful for your recent review. We are sorry to hear that you felt offended by a member of our staff. If you would like to make a complaint or raise your concerns further, please email [email protected]. Kind regards, Nuffield Health Edinburgh Omni Fitness & Wellbeing Gym.
Positive experience: I’ve been going to this gym for a couple years now, and I do love it - it’s a nice gym floor with a decent amount of good equipment. I wish there were a bit more of certain machines/benches, but overall they maximize the space well. The classes are excellent, especially some of the spin instructors, and the booking system is easy to use. It has been a bit frustrating though that they’ve been cutting costs (no blue roll or towels anymore, period products stopped a long time ago, etc.) without any cut to membership fee.
Negative experience: Two stars because the welcome I was given was Stellar. However, the other punters were just hogging machines while using their mobile phones. Difficult to see how anybody gets fit there at all. Should you make the mistake of pointing out to someone that they are Hogging a machine you will be branded as rude. Very strange. Put a row of sofas at the back for people to sit and text. I shudder to think how many people simply vote with their feet, I too have been coming since it was Holme's Place, and today it was more like a school playground than a gym, despite all the excellent equipment. You could do so much better! Maybe now, it's just a place for entitled unfit people to go and spend their time. Sorry. One star after all. Get your act together.
Fantastic experience: I suffered an awful shoulder injury around 5months ago. Senior Physiotherapist Jason Varty was exceptional at helping me through my rehabilitation both physically & mentally. The combination of his reassurance and teaching of skills/ techniques required in the OMNI gym was 2nd to none. Highly recommend! Thank you.
Fantastic experience: Easily the best gym in Edinburgh. Wonderful staff, spacious gym floor, quality equipment and some great group exercise classes -- not to mention a sauna and steam room too! Highly recommend :)
Negative experience: Not lgbt friendly
Fantastic experience: Amazing location, really enjoy working out here. The staff are really helpful and friendly. A big open gym space with loads of natural light and high ceilings which make it a great workout environment. Great facilities including pool, a sauna and steam room too Love this gym and will continue to be a member for years to come. Would 100% recommend
Negative experience: I gave this place 5 stars in the past – considering it as an example for other gyms to follow – but now feel generous giving it two. I'd been a member on-and-off over the years since it originally opened as Holmes Place more than ten years ago. So much has changed since then with the advent of PureGym, Gym Group and others providing a new level of competition which Nuffield struggles to compete with, particularly as every month they seem to strip back more of the service, here's just a few examples: - Changes to membership tiers means I can no longer use my Edinburgh home club membership for the multi-gym access to even the smaller London clubs (such as Fulham) when I am there with work. - Removal of jacuzzi in the swim area - Removal of separate sex steam and sauna rooms (the new combined sauna isn’t large enough at peak periods) - Shorter gym opening hours compared with PureGym, GymGroup etc. especially during bank holidays - Removal of complimentary towel service - Continued increase in membership fees despite all of the above cost-saving measures - Also, much louder music on the gym floor which I personally don't like, compared with the other mentioned clubs. And then there's little things – like signs saying they'll no longer lend you a padlock if you forget to bring one. And if you need your membership card replaced, it'll now cost you £5. It seems that they live in a different world from other gyms, that have moved to using apps/PINs – no need to bring a card with you every time. Take GymGroup for instance, where you open the app and can see live data on how busy the gym is before you arrive. With Nuffield, there's no way to tell (although if you go at 5pm on a weekday, it'll be rammed). Yes, the staff are friendly (but then, so are the staff at PureGym), the pool is great (although a little dark) and the equipment on the gym floor is good, but I can no longer personally justify paying for this gym membership. Of course, they still require up to 2 months' notice to end a membership unlike the other clubs where you simply cancel a direct debit. Yet they gave members just 8 days' notice of the reductions to multi-club access. One rule for them, another for their members. I raised these points in an email to them when writing to say I was considering leaving, but they never bothered to answer any of my queries, or try keep me as a customer, but simply said they'd end my membership in accordance with their cancellation policy. Accordingly, I'm leaving my feedback here for others to see. From reading what others have said here, it’s clear that I am just one of a number of long-standing members that are leaving. It seems that the management’s focus at the moment is attracting new customers rather than making any attempt to retain their existing ones.
Positive experience: A lot of whining about the towels. Due to high energy costs its no surprise that this has been removed. Overall still a good gym and i always receive excellent customer service.
Negative experience: The changing rooms are disgusting. The woodwork is old and tired with locker doors falling off and rot on the wood. The ceiling is damp and rotten. The showers STINK. No matter how much they clean them, they stink. The toilets are the Same. They removed the mens/ladies sauna steam room to build a new one. No members were asked and I’m sure no members wanted this. Now the rooms are over crowded and feel awkward to be in. The gym equipment itself is ok but too much cardio and not enough weighted machine equipment. The worst is that they removed the towel service. A gym that provides a pool and sauna and takes away towels?? Removing all these services but asking members to pay the same it’s utterly disrespectful and appalling. The one saving grace is that the staff - reception, gym team and duty managers - are amazing. So friendly and warm. Not worth paying the full membership.
Fantastic experience: My friend and I went to Nuffield today and received stellar customer service from Darren, who was super friendly and helpful. The facilities are also really clean and I had such a relaxing swim!
Positive experience: Nowhere is perfect however have to disagree with a lot of the recent negative reviews about this gym. Seems a lot of the negative reviews have been driven by the withdrawal of the towels (and some other services over the years). The towels were NEVER a guaranteed service – they were always a complimentary (could be withdrawn at any time service) introduced by the original owners of the location, Holmes Place Wellness – a premium ‘posh’ fitness centre. The membership when it opened in 2004 ranged from around £60-£90 (in 2004) because it offered such extensive services including complimentary towels (and male/female only steam & sauna services). This also depended on the tiering between 1 to 5 – the tier determined what extras you got and what you paid. Anyone from a Tier 1 or 2 Holmes Place got no complimentary towels – you paid £1 per visit if you wanted to use theirs – for example Manchester Printworks was a Tier 2 and didn’t offer free towels, Edinburgh Omni was a tier 3 and did but the price between the two also significantly varied with Tier 2 paying around £60 whereas Tier 3 starting somewhere close to £70 or above. Again, this is nearly 20 years ago. (at that stage all towels were also washed in-house). Holmes Place then sold off all of its UK business to VIRGIN ACTIVE in 2007 – Virgin tried to get rid of the towels many times and failed. If you went to Virgin Fountain Park, there were never any complimentary towels – bring your own or pay £1 to ‘Borrow’ one. I’m surprised Nuffield actually kept the service in after they took over from Virgin in 2016 for 7 years – in 2024 the price charged by Nuffield is in the same range as the price charged by Holmes Place nearly 20 years ago. If members had been more considerate by only taking one towel per visit rather than two towels and actually returning them back instead of just throwing them around expecting the cleaners to pick up after them then maybe we may have had a different outcome – appreciate majority did take them back but a small population treated the place like a dumping ground. You wouldn’t throw stuff around like in your own bathroom so why treat the gym changing rooms like a tip. As for unfriendly staff, again not saying they’re perfect as the odd one or two are unapproachable but MAJORITY are very friendly and very approachable – whether its Callum, Gareth, Darren and Aline at Front Desk who always have smile on their faces, Ahmed serving the coffees with a cheeky grin or Kai, Lauren, Izzi or Craig on the Gym floor – everyone is approachable. Even the cleaners are friendly and approachable. Just need to make the effort to extend your hand out and they’ll definitely do the same. Certainly, no gang behaviour from the staff. As for the complaints are leaking ceilings etc, if Slug & Lettuce above them create the leaks and the maintenance/fixes need approval from the owners of the OMNI, its not really something the gym can fix straight away. I’m pretty sure they don’t want water from the Slug & Lettuce Waste & Water pipes dripping onto them or their members. Yes, there’s a need for longstanding benefiting improvements without ongoing costs – starting with hopefully increasing the equipment on the floor as it’s a very busy gym and some machines are very popular as are the benches – 1 leg extension, 1 leg curl and 8 benches for gym attracting so many members aren’t ideal. The studios are not all used and could be turned into a weights room or a room for the growing crowd into inversion exercises. For the price range it is currently charging its still a good deal, Edinburgh Leisure prices Full Fitness Adult Membership start at £59.99 for much smaller gyms compared to the size of Nuffield Omni. David Lloyd charges minimally £95 per month just for a basic package (and their gyms are in the middle of nowhere compared to Nuffield Omni which is very central).
Negative experience: Prada prices for a Primark gym. They want money for nothing.
Negative experience: The services have significantly declined . Prices are going up, services reducing. Including towels being removed from the service. When you question decisions, management offer to cancel your membership.
Negative experience: Joined 1 year ago after moving to Scotland. Very quickly became irritated by the unavoidable high school reception gang at the entrance, usually seen socialising in large groups and doing little in the way of earning their salaries. During my membership, I have made numerous written complaints about the semen left all over the shower walls on multiple occasions, to which no response was issued. The showers are not upheld at all, and half of them are damaged or out of use, same as the lockers. Customers smoke marijuana in the changing rooms which again is something I complained about once or twice. The gym is known for being the “gay gym of Edinburgh,” according to word of mouth since moving here, and last year, men were often cruising in the sauna and steam room, exposing themselves and servicing each other. To be fair to the gym, they did amend their towel rules shortly after this. As of now, they are stopping providing towels completely in the membership, in a naive bid to allegedly be “helping the planet.” — You might want to learn how to help your customers first! I know former staff members who used to work at this gym and have told me how miserable they were. I’ve had several friends cancel their memberships in the last few months, and I’m thrilled to be the latest to do so. When I called and said I wished to cancel this week, the girl on the phone didn’t ask why, or care in the slightest that her company was losing a customer. She simply said “Okay, here’s the email you need!” Then, upon emailing with my cancellation notice—despite the fact that it was successfully cancelled early due to my developing medical condition, which is of course accommodating of the guy (Callum) and for which I am grateful—he still failed to address or acknowledge anything else I said (the contents of this review). No apology, and no accountability once again. Main incident was when a snack bar staff member spoke to me in a condescending manner like I was a child, to which I laughed, fed back my age, and said I was fully aware of how to do what he was trying to tell me to do. He responded by slamming an object down on the counter, swearing at me, and then continuing to use offensive words. I told him to keep it up and warned I would be complaining to his manager. I proceeded to reception where 4 members of staff stood chatting until 1 disappeared and 1 went over to a customer on the other side of the gate. 1 young lady asked if I needed a towel, to which I said “No, thanks. I’d like to speak to someone.” She replied “Oh, okay,” and walked off to the gym area downstairs. Then, the young lady standing in front of me—her eyes aligned with mine—glanced at me twice and ignored me. After a few minutes, she finally asked in a way consistent with me inconveniencing her time, “Can I help you?” to which I replied “I want to make a complaint.” She wasn’t in the least interested in showing any customer service skills, and returned from the back office with the manager. He stood there, folded his arms and huffed passive-aggressively, then said in a dismissive tone, “Yeah?” …Imagine my horror. After, he put his thumbs up in a cartoonish way and sported a fake grin, saying he would “speak to him.” However, he had no intention of doing so, and I wrote the complaint down and took a photo. I received no call or email in the coming days and weeks from that manager to apologise to me for his unprofessional, immature performance. Instead, another manager from another location emailed me (Christopher) and said the experience is not what he would expect customers to receive, and stated that he found it hard to believe those people would behave in that way because it was not in their character. I was even more disturbed by the evident culture of sweeping it under the rug and biased management taking place. Good riddance to a disgraceful jungle gym with some of the most unprofessional behaviour and lack of customer service I have ever witnessed in my life, across the 6 countries I have lived in.
Negative experience: What exactly are we paying for? Membership prices rising, services being removed? Most cardio machines go broken/out of service for weeks, changing rooms are feeling their age You keep mentioning its around your goal of becoming carbon net zero by 2030 but in return, it's at our cost as customers As of September 1, towels will no longer be given and must bring your own. We pay the premium for these types of services and offerings. Will be looking to move gym elsewhere as the value is no longer there
Negative experience: Overpriced, poorly maintained, and as of 1 September 2024, the towel service is being removed. I’ve cancelled my membership, enough is enough.
Negative experience: Premium club ?? ! So after pissing everyone off as much as possible by shutting things, removing towels etc.. they are now allowing the other 2 Edinburgh clubs members access yet charge OMNi members £30 a month more is this a joke ? Cancelling on Monday
Fantastic experience: In Edinburgh for a weekend, got a 1-day free entry pass. Great facility, friendly and helpful staff, Darren at reception was super
Positive experience: Nice gym but lunchtime classes that are held in the actual gym are a real pain. The dreaded Bluetooth speaker appears and blares out for 45 mins or so at a decibel level unimaginable. I have expensive noise cancelling earbuds, but they don't stand a chance. I've mentioned this to the staff but nothing seems to change. Facilities good if getting a bit tired.
Fantastic experience: My experience with Jonasz the PT (@fitmaker_joe) has been 10/10 from start to finish. He makes our sessions so fun, and I always leave them exhausted in a good way, and in the ✨best✨ mood. Joe is professional and respectful, yet also funny and incredibly approachable. I would recommend him to anyone — from gym bros, to people who have never stepped foot in the weights section before. I signed up for Joe’s 12-week PT session offer at the beginning of April 2024, and I feel like I've progressed in so many ways. Not only have I lost 18cm from my stomach and fit into my clothes again, but my mindset and body confidence have drastically improved day by day. Joe has helped me overcome so many mental obstacles associated with weight loss, and is always just a text away. My training plan has been tailored specifically to me. Any exercises I dreaded were swapped for ones I was actually excited to do. I feel so confident in my form now, even when he’s not there. I can’t believe the results after simply eating ~1900 calories a day, doing 3 gym sessions, and walking 70k steps a week. There's no treadmill time, no restrictive eating, and I’ve been able to enjoy holidays and meals out the whole time. The support, guidance, and accountability I’ve had from Joe have helped me sail towards my goals and have fun on the journey there. He didn’t ask me to leave this review, but I feel truly blessed by the positive impact he has had on my life and want to shout it from the rooftops. Thank you so much, Joe!
Negative experience: This is hands down the filthiest gym in edinburgh. I can't even explain it in words. Mould, moulted hair in drains, dust and stains all over. Nothing seems to work but the price keeps increasing. Once a prestigious gym under the Virgin Active brand, now a rundown dump.
Fantastic experience: FREE PARKING ON ROYAL TARRACE, 2 minutes walk from the gym. Vans can also park here Past 17:30 only
Fantastic experience: Visited Omni Nuffield today at peak time and I can’t fault my experience! Staff were very diligent and friendly - really impressed with facilities! From the second you come in and the whole experience in general. Such great equipment and very clean. Have visited a lot of gyms in Edinburgh but this is by far the best experience I’ve ever had!
Negative experience: Worst gym ever. One single smith machine. Some machines have been broken for 3 weeks and still haven't fixed them. Everyone is on their phones and doesn't work out.
Negative experience: I’ve changed gyms as I’ve moved neighbourhoods. This was my partner’s gym, so I signed up with little reservation. It seemed well-equipped and the staff seemed friendly. But then they took away the jacuzzi, citing its cost as a reason, which I didn’t fully understand given that the membership at its full cost is over £70 a month. Then broken equipments stopped being replaced, which when inquired, I was told it was replaced and it’s probably that I couldn’t find it on the gym floor (my partner and I looked everywhere; it wasn’t there). Recently, the air conditioning broke and the floor is clearly too hot and stuffy to work out on, especially for those who are prone to overheating due to their medical conditions and/or medications they take. It doesn’t help that the gym seemingly has become a little oversubscribed since earlier this year and there are more members at any given time, but especially peak hours. I am bound contractually until October this year, but this is no longer the same gym it once was when I did sign the annual contract. I’m incredibly disappointed that I have to pay the same every month for what seems to be increasingly worsening conditions until I’m finally free to leave the contract.
Negative experience: - First they removed the jacuzzi, because it was ‘too expensive to run’ - They don’t replace broken equipment quickly or sometimes at all. - The air conditioning isn’t working and they have no estimation on when it will be fixed. Their response was ‘we’re waiting on head office to approve the finances to repair’ The gym floor is unbearably hot, it’s almost dangerous, especially for people with medical conditions. This happens every summer. This is an expensive gym, I expect better for a monthly fee of £73 per month
Positive experience: This place has so much potential. Sauna is a good size and hot, Steam room is very big but maybe lacks the nice scent they use at Fountain Park. Pool is big although it is a little chilly. It’s much darker than Fountain Park but I quite like that. Changing room is big but definitely feeling its age. Towel service is good. If you could combine the best bits of Omni gym and Fountain Park, you’d have a 4 star facility. They’ll always drop a star because of the jacuzzi closure.
Positive experience: It may not have the best pool and sauna, but they have enough equipments, space, classes, they clean everyday and they have the friendliest helpful staff and trainers. It is my 2nd home in Edinburgh!
Negative experience: It used to be a good gym ! I have been a Member at this gym for some 15 years. Unfortunately over the last two years this place has been degrading and the Service is not the same as it used to be. The devil is in the details. I am not talking about things that are no longer there like a hair conditioner or a working dryer . But the Men's changing room has become a squalid place. Worn out pieces of equipment are being replaced with new cheap ones that don't fit in at all with the others, I know that maybe visual impressions don't matter that much but this is one of the things that shows poor management of the place or lack of money. Generally speaking for the price I pay I would expect something better and cheaper gyms offer a more pleasant atmosphere and equally good equipment. With sadness or joy this will be my last month at this gym and although I will be paying again as much at another gym I will do so happily because with the daily hard workouts these little details are very important.
Negative experience: I've got a annual membership until September but I am really disappointing on the services they're provided atm. I've joined only for the swim pool and sauna. They’ve closed the men and women’s sauna and steam room and opened a new small mixed one. There is never space for women in the sauna. You find only young men chilling there for ages. There is no a booking system... Nothing. After swimming 30 min, I'd like to do 5 min of sauna. No way. P I'd feel more comfortable to have a separate space for very obvious reasons. There have already been problems with people not respecting the mixed space. Very disappointed.
Fantastic experience: Amazing experience getting my membership discounts sorted. Big thank you to Alex Mclure who was really helpful and engaging! Well done Alex.
Fantastic experience: I was a member of this gym for a year or two and really enjoyed using it, it was convenient and had lots of good equipment. It can get pretty busy after work hours but if you don't have to go between 5-7pm then you'll be alright. I was always greeted with a warm welcome from Staff members like Alex at the front desk and others whilst on the gym floor. I would suggest getting rid of a row of elliptical trainers and replacing them with more weights or cable machines as this would be a huge benefit to everyone in those busy periods.
Fantastic experience: I was served by a very charming man called Alex at the front desk, he gave me a comprehensive understanding of the gym and how it works. This was very comforting for a first time user. Thanks Alex!
Fantastic experience: Alex gave us a knowledgeable and energising tour of the facilities. Really looking forward to starting my membership and reaching my fitness goals.
Negative experience: I used to be a member at this gym back in 2022, but since then, it has really gone downhill. Recently, I decided to give it another try with a trial membership to see if it had improved, but unfortunately, I was disappointed again. Here are my observations: 1. While the equipment is adequate, there's a noticeable lack of essential items like resistance bands, which are commonly found in other gyms I've visited. 2. My experience with one of the personal trainers, Kia, was extremely negative. They were rude and condescending, which was off-putting for both me and my partner. It's surprising to encounter such behavior from a PT, especially considering the membership fees. 3. The spa facilities, including the sauna and steam room, were in poor condition and had an unpleasant odor. The pool didn't seem well-maintained either, and the absence of a jacuzzi was disappointing. Overall, if you're seeking a quality gym or health club experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere, such as David Lloyd's or Ballentynes. The reception staff, particularly Callum, were the only bright spot in an otherwise underwhelming experience. It's a shame that the club's standards have declined so significantly.
Fantastic experience: My favourite gym/pool in Edinburgh. Nice and clean with great facilities. Really friendly staff members too. Thanks especially to Alex, he was super helpful in showing me about when I first came
Fantastic experience: I love this gym, the staff are fantastic. They are knowledgable and enthusiastic. I got my tour from Alex, he knew the club really well and was clearly popular with other members. Highly recommend.
Negative experience: As many others have said, actual gym facilities (when they work) are good, if a bit sparse in areas. Problem is that if something breaks, Nuffield seem completely incompetent to fix anything, so things remain broken for months. Eg there’s a water fountain on the gym floor that has literally been broken for about 8 months?! Photos say it all really. And they have the audacity during all of this to raise membership prices. Get a grip. Additionally, the move to have one sauna and steam room for everyone is a total joke. Both are now crammed most of the time. And there are ALWAYS people talking in them, which only happened rarely before. I go to try and relax in here, the last thing I want to listen to other people talking. Nuffield don’t enforce this well enough. Relatedly, Nuffield is always absolutely rammed, I don’t think they limit memberships, because especially at peak times, you’re doing a lot of waiting to get onto machines. So good luck doing the workout you want to do. What’s more, and I can’t believe I’m one of the only people raising this, which is worrying in itself, but there are screens in this gym with advertisements for eg Uber Eats. Some people are paying £80+ a month for this gym, and we’re getting advertised to? Honestly, this makes my blood boil. On top of this, on one occasion there was a worker for a charity standing at the bottom of the stairs at reception, hounding people to donate. I think this is inappropriate behaviour in a gym where members are being asked to pay so much, and when Nuffield does so little to sort out their gym. I’ll be cancelling my membership next month for the above reasons. On the plus side, staff are always nice and friendly, so reckon it’s management and higher ups that need to get a grip and sort this place out. The personal best program is also a nice addition, however the blood glucose machine was (you guessed it) broken, so couldn’t measure this. And I was told I’d be contacted in 6 weeks for my next apt, which has not happened.
Fantastic experience: Nuffield Health is the a really fantastic gym it is amazing i really like the swimming pool and the staff are just the most amazing people there are so friendly and very welcoming to their members also. I highly recommend this gym as it is fantastic the class are amazing 10/10 top class the best gym ever
Negative experience: I like this gym less and less.. And now that the towel service is ending but the price remains the same, I don't like it at all. While I appreciate the challenges with the old sauna, the new solution is not very good - it is small and crowded, and has made poolsite a 'hangout' space where young people now come and sit on the sun loungers. They then stand at the end of the pool or swim a few lanes, when they realise there's no Jacuzzi but feel like they should get in some water. As someone who swims for exercise, it is so annoying when people "swim and talk" or start giving each other swim lessons in the slow area. Also, the gym floor equipment is often out of action for ages. But the real issue is the state of the changing rooms... I always use the same locker section, and last I went (on a Thursday) I found an unused plaster under the bench, which I must have dropped some other time. The wrapper is pretty distinct so it was definitely mine. I hadn't been since Sunday... It's no wonder it's such a state if the floors haven't been cleaned for days. Also, the customer service is not very good.
Negative experience: Okay, I took a two month break and came back and I feel like there’s a lot of issues that need to be addressed by the gym ❌. They have opened a New Sauna which is now shared: - The sauna is smaller than the one they had individually for males and females. People were pressed up against each other in it haha. Not nice - No hooks for towels anymore - The sauna smells like fish, weirdly - It was 65 degrees on the dial and felt cold They put the hot tub out of use last year and never put back into action. I think they have completely removed it actually :( They have also raised the cost of the gym membership a few pounds. Not happy :(
Negative experience: Oversubscribed. They Lied about the hot tub being temporarily switched off. They got rid of the private changing room sauna and steam room to opt for smaller shared sauna and steam rooms which don't even get up to the right temperature. The changing rooms are disgusting the smell makes me feel sick. They are definitely not cleaned every day if even every week? Avoid as it's over priced for what you get.
Fantastic experience: Regardless of the minor imperfections, this is still my NUMBER ONE gym in the city! Management and all members of staff are always kind and very helpful what makes the place to stand out amongst other clubs! Recently refurbished spa & swimming pool area with cute water stations are just cherry on top! Lovely place to work out and relax. Thank you for your hard work guys
Negative experience: Good overall and good hardware, but some staff is quite pushy and rude sadly. For that price you expect more.
Negative experience: It is really disappointing that they closed the separate saunas for men and women and replaced them with a very small mixed one. The separate spaces were a big plus, especially for women. Now, with the mixed area, there are already problems with people not respecting boundaries. Unfortunately, I will need to stop my membership.
Negative experience: really disappointing that they’ve closed the men and women’s sauna and steam room and opened a new small mixed one. they say it’s to provide better service but it’s probably to cut costs despite charging insane amounts for the memberships. one of the biggest selling points of this gym was the separation of men and women’s saunas and steam rooms. for women it’s a lot more comfortable to have a separate space for very obvious reasons. there have already been problems with people not respecting the mixed spaces, it was a massive mistake from the management to do this.
Negative experience: Premium fees for increasingly worse service and facilities Gym is okay in terms of equipment, geared more toward the health focused clientele versus serious lifting. Overall, the gym is relatively crowded as are most others in Edinburgh. In other areas the gym needs to improve urgently: - Particularly disappointing is how the management continues to cut facilities and services and worsening hygiene standards while keeping prices comparatively high. Towel service is being cut (really important for many coming from or before work), the jacuzzi is not opened anymore, sauna times restricted, showers are increasingly dirty, toilets and showers are not working/blocked for weeks at a time. - Showers smell horrific at times despite being cleaned regularly - Constant leakages from the roof and equipment failures - Staff charges some for storage space while allowing others to permanently occupy lockers for months free of charge. This is highly unfair and frustrating. - Overall poor internal communication between the team - Staff does commonly not wipe down equipment including leg press and abductor/adductor machines after using it with clients despite a big sign next to them. At the same time, some members of staff are exceptionally “attentive” and actively seek out to police customers. This is unfortunately highly hypocritical. Staff should adhere to their own rules and hygiene first, that would be effort better spent. Since most (except for one) staff both on the floor and the reception are exceptionally kind and helpful, this seems to be management failure. Issues have been raised with the team to little success. Overall, it seems like Nuffield charges premium fees for facilities and services that unfortunately no longer live up to it and are constantly being cut further.
Negative experience: After five years at this gym, I've seen a decline in service quality each year, despite rising costs. The gym floor and classes are good, and the staff is friendly. However, persistent issues with broken facilities, especially in the changing rooms, and very small new sauna/steam rooms are frustrating. Management seems indifferent to resolving these problems, including heating issues in winter. It's disappointing to see a lack of effort in maintaining the service quality for long-time members
Negative experience: standards have plummeted
Negative experience: Friendly staff but the changing facilities and showers are absolutely filthy and really really run down. Why is this? There really is no excuse when it is £75 a month.
Fantastic experience: Great gym, Friendly staff, lots of equipment and never too busy. Luckily all the people put off by the odd broken tile and water stained surface have all left so you have the place to yourself! Also free from horse punchers, seat sniffers and Keith Floyd lookalikes. My only criticism is the lack of spam options in the cafe.
Positive experience: Good gym. Nice pool which out if use for building work at the moment.
Negative experience: Really disappointed, not a cheap gym to go to but they decided the jacuzzi was too expensive to run so shut that down. Also pool was closed when I went, the showers smell disgusting, genuinely like sewage. Wifi barely works and disconnects you all the time. Wouldn’t recommend.
Negative experience: READ FIRST - Maybe Visit First I’m going to join the recent review wave. The gym itself has some nice spacious feel and is offering a sauna and steam room. Classes are included too. So it’s not all bad. Staff are nice too. But the level this gym was allowed to get to is a clear sign that Nuffield doesn’t actually care about you. Like other people mentioned: the showers are smelling badly and don’t really get cleaned well. That sauna door really has looked the same for a long time (all smudged up). That just shows you that things don’t get cleaned. Broken things everywhere. So I’m basically confirming all the recent posts. After having seen things not get fixed for a long time, I’m cancelling my membership and will find another gym that’s clean and not forgotten about by the company. This gym used to be great. I might rejoin if the company does a renovation. Also snapped some pictures just to show the overall feel of this “premium” gym.
Negative experience: Honestly shocking how dirty the changing rooms and showers are. They smell disgusting. All recent review agree too. It’s unbelievable the things that get ignored by management. I’ve never been to a gym in my life where the showers smelled that bad with literal mould in the caulking and cleaning not happening. I wonder if they have an actual professional cleaning team. Because it doesn’t look like it. It’s gotten worse and worse over the years and I will be cancelling my membership to switch gyms. I’m happy to come back when they have taken care of their standards. I mean Jesus it’s not even that it’s not good enough for £70 gym but no gym/place should look like this. Especially areas like the showers, sauna and changing room. Just seems like Nuffield as a company doesn’t give two cents about you. Literally. The sauna will also be closed for the next month so don’t bother joining. Enjoy a nicer gym in the area.
Negative experience: (Check out pictures) First of all, staff are amazing and deserve 5 stars. Shout out to Alex for 5-star customer service/for being an amazing and caring guy. Now to the gym. See photos. - Showers are mouldy and smell like piss always. - Broken things everywhere that don’t get fixed. Ceiling is peeling off, cracked tiles, broken bolsters on equipment. - Steam room smells funky. You see the same grime for weeks. I can’t wrap my mind around it honestly. “The Gym” at £17/month is incomparably more clean and upheld than this £75/month gym. I recently joined and I am so disappointed. I would LOVE to love this place. But in this state, I cannot recommend. The sauna is the only reason I’m staying. Otherwise, go literally to any other gym. To Nuffield team company: please get money invested in this gym as soon as possible
Fantastic experience: This is my first time in Edinburgh, visiting the Hungarian Embassy. The Omni gym was recommended by them. The Gym is not only fully equip, and has stunning cleanness, but the helpful manager Murrah, and the front desk members Luis and Ahmad who are truly added to the outstanding experience here. I’m thankful and happy to train here every day!
Fantastic experience: Been coming here for years, always enjoy the classes and friendly staff.
Fantastic experience: Very good
Negative experience: Had "Enuff" of Nuffield Health. Update November 2023: 80 pounds a month is robbery now that they are taking the sauna and steam room away and just opening a smaller, unisex one next to the pool, this feels like a scam. We will all be crammed in there like sardines. First they took away the jacuzzi. This is just a lower budget gym with overpriced fees. I have not seen them clean the pool in the 9 months I have been there. So, Do Not Join This Gym if you have better options. The locker rooms need a good refurbishing, and it feels like they are cleaned every 2 weeks by the looks of it, specially the showers. They get quite nasty and don't seem to have seen a mop and some bleach in months. They barely have equipment. There are like 60 running machines, all empty, no demand, and then we are all queuing for the 4 weights available. Who planned this? Are they self.sabotaging. Only good thing that remains is the helpful amd dedicated staff that has to put up with working there. And they are probably paid peanuts.l, considering how stingy this company is. Cutting corners? Them I am cutting my subscription as soon as it runs out.
Negative experience: READ THIS. Shockingly bad. Nuffield Health have closed all their jacuzzi facilities and the sauna and steam rooms are luke warm. It feels dirty and unkept. NH need to start focusing on its members’ requirements. We pay a considerable amount of money for a reasonable standard which is quite frankly unacceptable. New members - do not consider joining until senior management start prioritising their customers and services.
Positive experience: Paying £75 a month for this Opening hours aren't brilliant. Should be open everyday till 10pm at least. As others mentioned hygiene is non existent and a lot needs fixed.
Fantastic experience: Great pool and the steam room brilliant showers big changing area staff very friendly
Negative experience: The amount charged is not worth the structure offered. Bathrooms without maintenance, gym always very hot, unpainted and with mold on the ceiling... the distribution of equipment is terrible! they placed the running machine very close to the stretching space, impossible to relax with a horrible noise right on top of the head. I do not recommend and I do not know if I will renew my annual package when it expires ..
Negative experience: Extortionately priced, not worth it. Changing rooms are grimy, with old and broken equipment and holes in the walls. The pool is good but always too busy so it’s difficult to get a proper swim in. I also think they’ve reduced the temperature of the pool recently as it has been freezing. They recently closed the jacuzzi because of energy costs, but at the same time increased membership costs (currently around £70pm). Just not worth the cost anymore for the service provided. When my contract runs out I’ll be ending my membership. The positives are that the staff are lovely and the gym equipment is basic but good. I think the reason Nuffield get away with the extortionate costs are because of the lack of comprehensive competition in central Edinburgh, which is a real shame and a barrier to healthy lifestyles for people with low incomes.
Negative experience: the sector has changed a lot since covid but this doesn't justify the decline of this gym, it's clear that everything has been done to cut management costs but the costs for customers have not decreased. this establishment has some strong points such as the location and the staff courtesy, but the negative aspects have increased lately. here's is my list: the changing rooms are not cleaned properly, there is mold in the showers, the area next to the sauna stinks, there are no lights in the sauna, the pool water is constantly dirty (it was better in the past), the hot tub has been permanently closed (the higher operating costs do not justify anything, if you want to reduce the services then also reduce the subscription), the classrooms are not cleaned properly and there is dust, furthermore the structure is too busy consequently training, swimming or following a course in many cases becomes impossible. if you try to bring these issues up with management the best they can do is apologise. it is clear that the management is not good or there is no budget. well, as soon as I can I will cancel my subscription.
Fantastic experience: I've been here for some physio sessions, good service
Positive experience: I would usually rate this place 5 stars however recently there has a lot that's happened that doesn't justify the price point. Their Jacuzzi has permanently been removed so there is a large feature that's no longer is included in the price. The price has also gone up recently so you're paying more for less. The positives are however that all the staff are really nice, the gym is generally quite quiet with enough equipment to get through your workout. Also the people going to the gym are considerate and kind. The showers are good and the cafe is nice. Overall for me, the money you're throwing down on a membership is far too much for what you are actually getting but if you don't mind paying an expensive membership for the benefit of a quieter, larger gym that's more professionally focused in its gym members then go for it, you'll not regret it.
Negative experience: Avoid this gym. Nuffield Omni use to be an amazing, fantastic faculties as cut above other gym. However recently it has gone down hill. It’s no longer worth what they charge. The facilities are always breaking down, they constantly running out towels and the changing rooms are rancid. The gym, changing rooms and pool have extremely poor maintenance and hygiene. Only gave two stars as the only redeemable quality now is staff are always welcoming.
Negative experience: Members were promised in September that the spa pool would open again in the spring. Come the spring we then received an email saying the spa pool would permanently close. The gym used to be a Virgin Active which was very good. There has been no investment with Nuffield and there has been regular equipment failure.
Fantastic experience: 5* customer service from Gary at the reception desk.
Negative experience: Pool temp is very cold, changing rooms dirty, ladies sauna area is in constant repair, equipment broken, jacuzzi spa is now closed indefinitely. I feel sorry for the staff and members as the facility feels like it is on its knees. Would not recommend to anyone in its current state. Membership cancelled.
Negative experience: Recent management of Omni centre Edinburgh gym are unprofessional and do not respect members. Having been a member of this gym for 10 years, the recent service is simply unacceptable and I have cancelled my membership. Strongly advise anyone looking for a gym to go elsewhere.
Negative experience: Update: went in today and the preacher curl bench was gone. Cancelling my membership today. Any other gym in Edinburgh is a better deal. TL;DR unless you really need a gym with a pool in the city centre, look elsewhere. As other recent reviews have noted, this gym is on a steady decline due to clear budget cuts. Broken mirrors, lockers, water fountains, sinks, the Speedo pool clocks, and more stay broken. The jacuzzi is currently shut and is expected to be shut for at least six months total. A whole row of cardio equipment is usually switched off. There is a constant failure to provide towels. More than once I have had to cancel my trip to the gym because I received a text half way there saying they were out of towels. And whilst they will argue the towel service is complementary and not offered by most other Nuffield clubs, a service that frequently lets you down is worse than not having the service in the first place. This aversion to spending seems to also extend to staffing. The changing rooms are not cleaned anywhere near often enough: leading to the showers constantly smelling of urine and a general layer of grime. I cannot remember the last time I saw a member of staff on the gym floor who wasn’t doing PT work. Then again, there’s often three members of staff at reception so this could instead be poor management. The one saving grace of this gym is their one unique selling point, a decent length swimming pool in the city centre. However, even this is not properly looked after. I once forgot my goggles; my eyes were still watering hours afterwards due to the pool being over treated with chemicals. And as previously mentioned, the jacuzzi is currently closed and the swim clock is broken. If you need anything other than a gym in the city centre with a pool, I suggest you look elsewhere unless there is a major intervention (cash injection, new management?) to turn this club around.
Fantastic experience: Not in perfect condition now that it's no longer brand new, as some others have mentioned but overall the space is great, as are all the staff - never encountered one who wasn't friendly and helpful in the couple of years I've been going on and off. In terms of facilities, the pool is a particular highlight for me, for its decent size as well as relaxing ambience and temperature that they maintain - I find a lot of other pools in Edinburgh and elsewhere are too warm and bright for my liking. The place never feels overcrowded to me either - just a healthy level of busy, and in a great central location in easy reach if the wider city with loads of transport options. I live a couple of miles away now and am still happy to traveI to go here.
Negative experience: Really gone downhill over the past year. Today’s visit: pool full, sauna broken, swim costume dryer broken, changing room ceiling leaking, jacuzzi closed indefinitely. It’s just not working for me anymore, so cancelled my membership.
Negative experience: Its getting worse handles on equipment broken. Constantly running out of towels. Locker room not clean and staff don't bother to acknowledge you going in or out. And the food area is poor. Its a shame but go somewhere else it will be cheaper too.
Fantastic experience: Been a member at this gym for several years now and I can safely say in terms of facilities/affordability/convenience it’s the best gym in Edinburgh hands down. Spacious bright and open feel to the gym with ample space between cardio/machine and free weight sections. The pool is extremely relaxing. Having the 4 hours free parking on weekdays is also a massive plus point. The staff are all excellent especially the front of house staff who always strive to go the extra mile for members and are always on hand to assist and help with any issues and queries that may arise. Great club.
Positive experience: I have been an user of this gym for years and love going there. The space and equipment is quite good, and I like having access to a pool. However as others mention it seems go be going down lately. Their cafe used to have better food options, and I still can't figure out their opening times as I seem to always find it closed. Lack of towels very often. Lockers with padlocks indefinitely, even they're supposed to remove them if left overnight they only seem to take action when other users complaint. Staff doesn't help to follow good etiquette, and having people just chatting in the swimming pool while others try to swim is nit appropriate. Floor in changing rooms is clearly not appropriate, as it is always dirty given the difficulty to clean it on a daily basis. If something breaks, it may take weeks or months to be fixed. It is a shame, I'll keep going because of convenience, and staff has been always lovely, but given how expensive their membership is they should take things more seriously
Positive experience: Not a bad facility but a big problem with posers taking over equipment just for selfies and to stare at their phones. Pool is nice but too many people using it as a place to chat with pals and blocking the lanes for people actually there to swim. Not sure I’ll be renewing my membership, at least half the time visits are a waste of time because of poor gym etiquette that staff never take any notice of.
Negative experience: I have been a member for nearly a year now and I feel there has been alot of issues with the facilities especially this year. Pretty much every time I have been there has been something out of use or no towels I feel for the price you pay it is shocking and ladies sinks were not very clean. I went to this gym as it was close and I didn't mind paying the price because they had the facilities such as sauna, steamroom and jacuzzi which I like to use but always seem to have issues, very disappointing.
Negative experience: It's an alright gym, very expensive at £68 a month for my membership. Quite regularly there are no towels, the food available at the café is a joke (choose from beans on toast or scrambled eggs), there are no longer soft tissues in the changing rooms overall the place is getting pretty tired. Also - nowhere to safely park a push bike which is pretty bizarre for a city centre health club in my opinion. My continued membership is very much in the balance.
Negative experience: Womens sauna has been needing fixed for months. Pot luck if the spa is open and now running out of towels, so to bring your own? Considering the membership fees, it's poor. Gym is OK, however they lack enough free weights and weights machines. So much cardio equipment, but that can't be said for weights. Only one leg extension? Difficult to complete your workout due to lack of equipment and how busy it is. Won't be renewing my membership, but for now it will suffice.
Positive experience: I am member of the Nuffield Edinburgh Omini. Full gear for the weight training, enough mats for doing stretching. Shower room is nice and spacious. Toilets are clean, but basins are a bit dirt (lack of maintenance). Floor is and the lockers averagely clean. Towels are clean and I like the quality of it. Staff are nice and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and chill. Will check out the swimming pool and jaccuzi later.
