Positive experience: I went there for a birthday party here most excited for water squirrels and rapids but guess what they were closed deepest being 1.35m and shallowest being 0.85m they had a really nice jacuzzi with lots of bubbles and I had fun.

Fantastic experience: You can shower here for £2.80ish with no membership. Great when you're in a pinch but would be good if cheaper for people in need but I understand why there's a cost. No time limit, decent showers but you'll need to bring your own shower gels and stuff. The lady behind the counter was very understanding , welcoming and helpful.

Positive experience: 6 years ago we came here and were drastically put off by how freezing cold the pool was. After many conversations, today, I gave it another go with my two kids. Can't fault the pool, facilities and changing places.. The cafe food though JEEZ. We got a pancake flat pizza with more herbs than cheese and sauce put together ( not eaten) A panini hog dog that almost made my daughter sick on the spot. And a dry old tuna baked potato for me. Urgh YUK. At least I will not have to convince my kids not to eat here again!

Negative experience: I don't even think this is a swimming pool that can be used any more by the local community. Customers cannot access the building without an app on their phone or access to a website, an email address, or a working debit card to pay online. Quite rude and dismissive staff on reception picking up the telephone if you call and ask for help that just direct you to an app and try and get you off the phone as quickly as possible. Was told the swimming pool was only open to children for 1 hour that day (week day when everyone else is at work) and we would need to make a booking online by setting up an account anyway which we couldn't do. Couldn't care less about serving the customers. Feels like fusion fitness company has taken the leisure centre from the community and won't let the people use it.

Negative experience: Poor service and can’t get the refund if we cancel the court

Negative experience: Horrible place, my brother and other children were shivering and the changing room situation is appalling. Every review on here that is positive is 7-5 years old.

Negative experience: Reminiscing a bombed out eastern block relic. From outside to in, every aspect of this place should be avoided. Needs flattening and rebuilding asap. Ice cold water (28* if lucky) changing rooms are never washed during day so constantly walking through hair and mess. Cost for family is through the roof Depressing & expensive

Negative experience: Took over an hour and a half to get through. Obviously employ people who don't like answering the phones. Couldn't attend the swimming session I booked. They don't do refunds of transfer to different days. Shout out to Grace for being rude and useless

Fantastic experience: Rugby club, come play. Always looking for more players and supporting British rugby

Negative experience: Rapids still not working what must be for YEARS now (I’ve not been coming here long, but there is a review here from 2 years ago complaining about the same thing) All vending machines were out of order last time I was in, and cafe has never been open. The whole thing is a bit weird, having to take your shoes off and leave them at the changing room entrance etc- seems a bit disjointed. Website is beyond awful too. Shame, as the staff are friendly and it clearly is a well used, valuable community asset. Needs updating and looking after.

Positive experience: Very overpriced for a complex stuck in 1994. gym, sauna and pool are all seperate usage charges which is just a bit odd. Steam room not working, do we get 50% of the sauna/steam room price back? If you can’t figure out how to combine entry into one simple entry fee then that is wild. The only reason my star rating isn’t lower is that the gym staff/trainers were all really positive and welcoming.

Positive experience: Mainly a gym user. In need of major overhaul. Always too many machines and equipment out of order. Changing rooms somewhat grim. Anna's Cafe the only thing worth praising.

Negative experience: Categorically the worst website I've used in the last 12 months. To see the timetable, you need to register an account, get a password, and give your address, D.O.B etc. Even then, the website doesn't even work. So fed up I'd sooner swim in the moat than persevere with this nonsense.

Positive experience: Parking on slip road into Sports Centre ridiculous.

Positive experience: There are some pleasant staff here and the facilities have had some investment, but it’s an average leisure centre at best. Swimming has not returned to its pre-covid timetable and needs to be booked. The gym gets very busy at peak times as you might expect, but the claustrophobia on those occasions is made worse by the imposing decor in the area with a low ceiling, and the way equipment is laid out so that you feel you’re on display when using the treadmills in the middle of the room. Young people are also now allowed in for ‘junior gym’ sessions with adults. Some machines can be out of order and awaiting repair for several months. Signs politely ask you spend no longer than 20 minutes on cardio equipment. Make of that what you will. I do wish they’d do later opening rather than earlier mornings twice a week too, but if you’re an early bird I guess that’s a bonus for you. It’s great that it’s being used and is a community resource, but it feels like the numbers are increasing whilst the facilities are decreasing in quality.

Positive experience: For anyone who wants to freeze their membership for a month or two please be warned that you can only do it from the date of your direct debit. I wanted to freeze mine, put the dates on the form, and my membership was frozen from the direct debit date, 10’days earlier than I wanted. I had to pay to reinstate it (plus a small surcharge!). I can not find anywhere on the website that states it must be from your date of direct debit, so basically unless your holiday or sickness starts on the date your direct debit goes out you can not benefit! Very annoying.

Negative experience: Two tier gym. Manager and staff and some individuals has got an ego problem. Equipment feels like it's from poundland. Beware of the chalk police. Puregym is better.

Fantastic experience: This place is great and the arcitecture and facilities are good and interesting. The lights are too bright sometimes though.

Negative experience: Gopping again. If I wanted to see used nappies in changing rooms or hairs blocking drains I would definitely pay £20 for my family to visit here again for an hour. I don't though, so I will just avoid it.

Fantastic experience: Great pool and facilities for a swim.

Negative experience: Unbelievably rude and patronising staff. I'd forgotten my grandchildren membership cards, and instead of just asking for their names to be checked in, I was read the riot act and made to feel embarrassed and stupid. Unfortunately, over the last few years I've been treated disrespectfully so often by reception staff here, that I'm beginning to think it's part of Fusions staff training. Generally poor hygiene and cleanliness around whole pool area too.

Positive experience: Decent place but really hard to see shuttlecocks against the wall in the sports hall

Fantastic experience: Reception staff are quick to answer emails / telephone calls. Pool always to a clean standard BUT the changing rooms can sometimes be quite dirty so you have to pick a clean one. Not all pool lockers work so again you have to pick one which works. Overall very happy we are members here just wish the changing rooms were slightly cleaner.

Negative experience: Shocking. Booking online isn't fit for purpose, a battle everytime you try and contact them or get a booking

Negative experience: Needs a very good clean and update of equipment

Fantastic experience: Clean and v good sauna and steam room. Shower situation could be better - like more privacy and better showers. Also too many weird mirrors in the changing “village” not great for dismorphia.

Positive experience: Went there to play badminton in the sports hall. However, the music from the spin class or whatever was going on the other end was excessively loud, with seemingly no consideration for other people hsing the hall.

Fantastic experience: Amazing little place which is secretly hidden away in a housing estate! The pool has a lazy river (rapids) a jacuzzi in the center which is more than more most places!

Positive experience: Played Badminton 7 -9. First hour very loud music from keep fit group.

Positive experience: I spent an hour or two watching my friends having a swim, while I relaxed an drank ☕️ coffee. Which I thought was over priced as were the other drinks

Positive experience: Lovely little pool. There is a shallow bit with bubbles which then leads round into the main pool area. Plus a rapids area around a hot-tub type area (although the rapids were closed when we were there). The family swim session was great - not too busy at all, plus floats and balls to play with. The family change rooms were also better than I've seen elsewhere with plenty of room and some free-standing changing tables which made getting ready much easier.

Positive experience: Last time I went here was 20 odd years ago and nothing seems to have changed except that I now brought a 5 year old to the family swim session and she loved it. Why change a winning formula I guess!!

Positive experience: Good, seating is not the best for watching the younger kids in the baby pool, the cafe is nice

Positive experience: I used the pool yesterday and was disappointed that the rapids were not working and also the showers were freezing cold , I think this is an ongoing problem as the staff told me that they we’re waiting for it to be repaired ! Why was I not told this before I used the pool that there were issues ! And that I paid full price !!!!

Positive experience: I'm a Fusion member and decided to try Wells because of it's Sauna/Steam facilities. I was rather disappointed sadly as they only switched it on at the start of the slot I booked which was just half an hour and it wasn't warm enough until 20 mins in. There aren't any sufficient shower facilities around the area to have a good wash off afterwards unless you want to go to the pool side, but then you are in full view and not sure how you could shampoo and wash properly. The only other shower they have there is also open and the water runs too hot. You would have to go across to the other side where the gym is to use their changing rooms and shower properly. Not well thought out.

Positive experience: Although I did not go in - (picking someone up from there - looks worth a visit for various fitness / sports plus there is a swimming pool there as well. Enjoy if you visit. (Not sure what the prices are like - but I suspect not too bad as there are lots of vehicles in the car park and plenty of people around).

Negative experience: Looked into booking one of their family swim sessions as used to do it a few years ago, but was taken aback by their prices which are just too expensive. Parents don't typically get to swim at the family sessions and are only there to take their little ones, yet Wells Sport and Fitness want £8 per adult for 50 mins on top of the price paid for the children. This is at least £3 more expensive per adult than other family fun swim sessions in the surrounding area so we chose not to book in the end.

Negative experience: No one answers the phone. Phoned 5 times today at different times, trying to book a court. 30 seconds of dial and then told to leave a message. Left a message as requested for a call back, 3 hours later no call back. Hopeless. Absolutely hopeless. This isn't the first time either.

Positive experience: Great and helpful staff. But expensive for what is available. The place is a bit tired. Things closed and not fixed for months and months. Massive Corporate organisation that i suspect does things on the cheap and doesn't value it staff.

Fantastic experience: Loved it

Fantastic experience: After years of being messed about with our membership I finally requested a meeting with the new manager. I was furious at our treatment but Adam completely turned it around. A really lovely man who took the time to sort out years of issues, he went above and beyond what I expected him to do, I honestly can’t express how impressed I am with him it has given me a great deal of hope that he will turn the leisure centre around. Thank you Adam!

Fantastic experience: Great staff facilities really good ,

Negative experience: Very poor experience, £20 for 2 adults and a 4yr for an hrs swim, no rapids or jets, staff rude and obnoxious, sadly wouldn't recommend. Appears using current covid circumstances for a minimal service as an excuse but keeping the prices high, especially as cleaning appears poor, with lots of black residue from the tile grout in the pool and hair in poolside shower plug holes.

Negative experience: No concestions for the young or elderly or Blue card holders. They can spend silly money on upgrades but can't make allowances for the local community. Very poor

Fantastic experience: A very good facility. Polite and helpful staff who can't do enough for you. They allowed us to park our motorhome in the corner of their carpark. We are carers looking after a local person so the Centre was very helpful. They have a gym, a swimming pool and a sauna plus steam room.

Positive experience: Went for a family swim under controlled 'covid' conditions - felt very comfortable and had a nice hour of relaxed splashing and swimming - water was a nice temperature and hot shower to finish before dressing to leave. Only 4 stars as we did not use any other facility.

Negative experience: Very very old and tired. One off prices and annual family membership far too expensive. Should be taken back under council ownership.

Fantastic experience: Great to be back in the gym after the latest lockdown. Very clean, well spaced out and booking system is good.

Negative experience: Pool freezing, not sure if something isn't working right but the kids pool was really cold, took my money twice as it said payment didn't work, and no one seems to reply to the contact us section. Not fit for purpose! Was better run by the council

Positive experience: Nice little leisure centre, was prone to overcrowding during peak times pre-covid but the booking system currently in place seems to have fixed that problem. Hopefully the system will stay in place post-covid.

Negative experience: NO HAND WASHING POSSIBLE IN TOILETS DUE TO ABSOLUTELY SCALDING HOT WATER. EVEN FROM THE COLD TAP! staff told, they knew about it. Stupid signs stuck to mirrors. GET IT FIXED NOW OR CLOSE. UNSAFE.! ILLEGAL?! SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING IN COVID. Putting MONEY OVER CUSTOMER SAFETY.

Negative experience: Nothing done since the council palmed it off to this "NFPO". Awful service, Closed for lock down - OK we get that, but to not bother telling your members anything about reopening is farcical. The only company statement is - Fusion is awaiting a government donation fund? How about opening.. Place looks like a scene out of a zombie movie, tall grass, rubbish an that was before Covid lol... Sad the council fell for it.. And sad we are paying for it twice - as taxpayers and also as members with nothing in return.

Negative experience: I would suggest that during the refurbishment they should have looked at staffing. Poor and rude customer service where everything is too much effort. Refuse to accept cash even in the cafe which now offers no freshly made food. Always a disappointing experience.

Positive experience: Love the separate shallow children's area and the jacuzzi!

Negative experience: I wouldn't say hate!! Why is one star a hate ? But there is a very tired atmosphere, no one cares about this venue and it really shows. No cafe to speak of, no coffee machine, no one smiling, empty compared to 5 years ago, looked dirty and forgotten.

Negative experience: Jumped up management guy is so rude. They decided that Sunday 22nd is "Christmas hours" and are closing an hour early. Did they put up a sign in reception? No. Do they tell you when paying it's closing early? No. Instead rude management guy and tells you "you've got 5 minutes to leave". Charming, are they void of basic training and manners? How difficult would it have been to say "I'm sorry the center is closing early" at the very least and tell people when paying. Shockingly badly run. They get away with lots as it's the only place in wells. If they had competition would be so rude and decide on a normal working day to shut early. How difficult would it be go at least go on the tanoy to tell people it was closing early? No announcements, just lazy and rude people.

Positive experience: Excellent gym but not the cleanest.

Fantastic experience: Local gym lovely staff always helpful and with a smile. Keep it boys and girls. Coffee is pretty good too. What a shame the management decided in their infinite wisdom to change the closing time on Friday night. Pity these people only have themselves to look after. Some consideration for the members that originally paid to have the centre open until 9 pm, consaltation would have been nice. A little inconsiderate me thinks, but then we only pay!

Negative experience: Making your pool cashless is disgraceful! I spent the whole mooring preparing to come with my 2 small children, we came by bus and taxi at a fair cost to myself to be turned away with my children crying! shame on you

Negative experience: I can only comment on the cafe. For a sports and fitness centre it catered for sugar infused youngsters. It had diet coke and coke zero. Nothing else sugar free. The menu had nothing sugar free. Think they need to rethink why they are there ??

Positive experience: My first time here didn't realise they had rapid and a jacuzzi in the pool and a free sauna just a shame the showers were cold. I had a good swim tho

Positive experience: The pool itself is quite small especially if two lanes are in place. The kids enjoy the jacuzzi section but we have never been on a day when the lazy riverhas been open. The changing facilities are fine. The gym is quite small but has a good range of equipment.

Negative experience: Really dated, I swam here 20 years ago and doesn't look like a single update has been made.The entire shallow bit closed off (30% of entire size) for a lessons with 3 kids in. Still charged £9 for me and My 4 year old and he couldn't stand up anywhere so was definitely not worth the price.

Positive experience: Toilets smelly changing rooms average and smelly
