Negative experience: The worst gym I’ve ever been. Most stuff is great but everything else is just a joke, especially sauna and other gym members.. Never again

Positive experience: Gym is good. Everything is decent for the price: aesthetic, equipment, service etc. But one thing that absolutely ruins this gym is the loud, repeated crappy playlist of all these trashy npc tiktok songs. They really do get beyond sickening to listen to after a certain amount of time.

Negative experience: Broken dirty equipments in the gym. lack of cleaningness. You could get scared of catching a bug.

Negative experience: Girls don't join this gym. It's most unhygienic gym ever. Thus gym is health hazard. Ladies toilets and shower are the filthiest. There's mold piling up. Never been clean properly.... Cleaner only change bin bags and kill time...... If you complain, no one is there to take responsibility.... It's sad. So many grils join thus gym because of ladies area they have. But it's sad most things are broken ir in critical working condition, Mashines never been wiped clean, swat piling up dust piling up......... Floors neve been moped. All equipment neve been cleaned. If there is another option please choose....

Negative experience: The gyms alright. Has 2 water fountains, a lot of good equipment there but it just feels like they focused way more on the aesthetics rather than the machines and yes stuff gets taken out of your lockers so you do need a lock for a sense of security. I’ve seen people taking their shirts off to pose for pictures and videos wtv and today I decided to do it and this highly stimulated staff member starts pointing me out from far away to put my vest back on. Instead if there’s a change of policy where men aren’t allowed to take their shirts off when someone a day prior was then please talk to them in a better way instead of saying “well now you know”.

Fantastic experience: I’m really grateful for Court’s help, she is so considerate and cares about her clients’ needs, going above and beyond no matter how busy the gym gets. She definitely has a heart of gold and is beyond helpful — a game changer for women looking for a safe gym to go to, Staff like Adam, Alexandra and Sree are also really kind — great cohort of colleagues who make you look forward to seeing them everyday.

Negative experience: Dear Everlast Gym staff, I do not think that the new layout of the gym is an improvement for the following reasons: 1) Poor visibility - the black paint and dim lights can/could cause an health and safety risk to the gym members. More likely to bump into someone. 2) The overall paint job makes the gym appear to be a nightclub rather than a gym. I am very disappointed with the new layout. The gym is completely unrecognisable especially to long-standing gym members. Respectfully,

Fantastic experience: First day back since the renovation - No expense left. New gym equipment and new layout, just what they needed

Negative experience: Went to the gym to find out it is closed till 30/9?!? Not even an email or a text to inform me that it was closed for a few weeks. Had to go there to find out what a waste of a trip and I hope I’m not being charged any money this month! Also to add, there is always a few machines such as the treadmill, cycle and leg press machine that are out of use so can never get a workout in when it’s busy need more working machines.

Negative experience: Gym equipment good but No professionalism at all. Sauna is closed almost every day. Gym sometimes open late. No body receives the call on the contact number given.

Fantastic experience: Love it here, plenty of room, and plenty of equipment, good value for money too

Negative experience: Vile gym. Customers have no sense of hygiene and the staff can't maintain standards. Vermin gym. Some horrible people here.

Negative experience: awful treatment of members, rude staff no complaints or follow ups procedure even if you do complain, broken gym, dirty mouldy showers awful

Fantastic experience: Brilliant atmosphere at Everlast. Members of staff are all so helpful and friendly always prepared to stop for a chat. Excellent gym facilities as well. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: It is a really big gym. There are lockers, toilets, showers, sauna, and a seperate ladies area. The gym is well equipped and clean.

Negative experience: Half of the Machines are broken majority of the time. The smell of body odour is everywhere, its like a kids playground, Not recommended at all, stay away

Negative experience: Fraudsters, I informed a month ago that I want to cancel my subscription due to moving, but all the documents I can provide do not suit them, and what else can I provide from a country where there is a war and all documents are exclusively in Ukrainian of course, and they continue to deduct money from me, even though I can't even physically be there. To all my requests to cancel the subscription, they give a standard phrase and do not help in any way. I categorically do not recommend this gym because of the attitude, only money is important to them, and the attitude towards people is bad

Positive experience: fave gym! very local, staffs are great & welcoming. pretty much has everything you need. and it was a ladies only section too

Negative experience: I can see why they receive so many negatives review. The girl Alex who's short with red hair. Absolutely rude. Her attitude is disgusting. Don't know how everlast has hired someone with such poor manners. Just realised someone eles written a bad review mentioned her terrible attitude. So to think she's still working there is appalling. She needs the sack. They told me they will cancel my membership it's been 3 weeks and I've still not heard nothing back.

Negative experience: What was once a Brilliant Gym to now a Horrible Place to Train, Seriously this has place has turned into a Dump!! Broken Equipment which takes weeks to fix. And the New Managers Attitude Stinks worse than the Toilets, He's a Little Maggot with a Nasty Attitude which Unfortunately has Rubbed off onto the general Staff Members there. Speaking of Staff Members you get them Fondling each other in the equipment area and behind the Desk, Very Unprofessional!!

Negative experience: Called into this gym to find out details about membership, facilities and cost. The sign above the door which an attempt to peel it off says 'join from £10' however when I asked about this at the desk I was told this is no longer a relevant offer. I asked about memberships and was told I could join for £6 this month. They then checked and I was told the price was £26 per month. If the member of staff do not know how much membership cost I can only imagine how badly other aspects of this gym are. I will not be joining this gym due to terrible staff training.

Negative experience: Worst gym In Leicester. Extremely rude employees. Only like 1 good employee, the rest don't know how to do their job and do not offer good customer service, they removed the bicycle rack and require you to park outside in town which is not safe and most people use bikes as their everyday travel and also everlast gym are making new rules pretty much going anti gym to make their jobs easier and so they work less would not recommend as price has gone up and other gyms that are way bigger are cheaper and 24/7 plus no extra fuss you have to put up to. Literally left 0/10

Positive experience: Joined a few days ago, most of the machines are good, it's spacious and a nice place for workouts.

Positive experience: Does the job. Pretty packed a lot of the time but every time I'm in there's always at least one piece of kit broken (Especially cables). I mentioned this to the staff and asked if it'd be fixed, one was nice about it and see he's reported it, whilst the girl got on the immediate defensive?? So many treadmills though there's only ever 4 people using them... Has a boxing bag which is useful

Negative experience: Poor maintenance of equipment, machines constantly breaking and takes too long to repair.

Negative experience: Waste of time! Only one staff in the morning which should be two. Been in the queue but he served someone who’s pestering him more rather than following the system. Had to wait 30mins just to get acknowledged and process a new app just to get it. I asked kindly the other staff who just joined in after the chaos, just let me in by looking through the system as I dont have time to wait any longer due to prework out kick in! U know the feeling! The adrenaline and everything!!!!

Negative experience: I DEFINED NOT RECOMMEND , THERE ARE BETTER GYMS IN LC. The worst gym in the city, with a low tier gym culture, filled with crack addicts and steroid maniacs including one of their staff. The layout of the gym is terrible, many of the equipment are in a terrible condition and a few members of the staff (not all) seem to hate everyone and everything in it, they lack charisma and are unbearable. Now i am gonna be robbed by this gym on a monthly basis for the next 8 months, thank you very much. THIS GYM IS NOT WORTH IT AND I WISH I READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE JOINING.

Positive experience: Very good equipment and facilities but sometimes very busy

Negative experience: The cable machine is broken and hasn’t been fixed in about 2 and a half weeks plus the male shower room ceiling is absolutely disgusting as it has black mould all over the ceiling, had to edit this because today I went in and on the way out one of the staff told me I couldn’t leave my scooter locked up at the bottom of the stairs, and it isn’t blocking the way of people walking or anything and when I asked where do you want me to put it she told me rudely leave it outside as if I can leave it outside this is stupid no bike rack in the cycle parking area inside the building, what’s the point of have a cycle parking area then.

Positive experience: Good equipment. Some ladies think that's a nightclub but ok.

Negative experience: Very horrible customer service from staff,I have had and operation and unable to use the gym.For over 3 months I have tried to cancel my membership with no success this far.Horrible and frustrating customer service.

Negative experience: I have been a member since September when it felt like a good gym, for a good price. It was busy but not over busy. Since 2023 they have been promoting so many promotions, one after the other, now the gym is overflowing with people. The areas are now so full you can’t even see a straight path through sometimes. The deadlift station has two stations but often has 5+ people using the weight section meaning there is not enough equipment & people are using bars from other machines on the floor. This then makes it unsafe, and too busy to be able to work out unless you choose to also work out on the floor. The staff do not accept much in terms of the issues and suggested I come mid day as it will be very busy else. It’s like they don’t realise this is a direct issue due to allowing too many people to sign up. Groups of people work on each machine, it is really horrible environment and doesn’t feel safe. After complaining and saying I no longer feel comfortable in this environment I was just told there’s nothing they can do about my membership which I signed up for based on the gym in September. I did not see the massive decrease in service which I suppose is my mistake to think that it would be a good gym for a year. This is not just me many people are experiencing this problem. The gym feels frustrated with no one being able to work out. The toilets and changing rooms are dirty too and many machines are often out of order. Avoid

Negative experience: Cycle parking facilities. - one of the area thay created for use the cycle parking. But thay have nothing any cycle locking stand available. All cycle use worries about. - when we talk to staff that said leave tha out side, like any of plece in town.. -So what point you created secure cycle park area. ?? - and one of the leddy staff if you not leave out I will call tha Police. Very nice response. Keep going on...

Negative experience: The gym is in a very bad state, many equipment are out of use so as the steam room and hair dryers in ladies changing room and its been like that for quite a while now! The showers are not any better, water splashes everywhere and has so less pressure! Apparently the staffs are aware of everything but nothing is changing!

Negative experience: Terribly passive-aggressive staff, especially the young lady. If I am not mistaken, her badge said Alexandra or Alexia, I don't remember. I would say that the staff in general looks annoyed as soon as you walk in and ask them for some assistance. Definitely not coming here again, unless there will be some changes.

Negative experience: Gym equipment are broken.. Never gets fixed.. Some have been broken for over a year.. ... Some staff don't want to be there they have serious attitude problems.. .. Customer service is 0 out of 10.. No emails no warning being send to inform customers of any issues, such as closure.

Negative experience: Half the machines are broken. When they do get fixed it’s not properly as within weeks they break again. They can take anywhere from 1 month to 3 months to get them fixed. If you only want free weights it’s ok. But if you want any other weight training I wouldn’t recommend.

Negative experience: Looking for another gym, fed up of many gym equipment being broken and not for use. Once fixed, which takes many weeks or months it gets broken very fast again…. Not even mentioning black sealing in the guys shower, which is black mold.

Positive experience: It's a lovely gym honestly, a bit crowded, but lovely .. some machines are sometimes out of order and it takes a bit longer to get it ready .. but loved them classes at the gym ..

Negative experience: Broken machines that haven’t been repaired in months. Mould covered showers and a general lack of cleanliness. Not worth the price they charge and nothing seems to be done about any of the issues. Avoid!

Positive experience: Overall a good gym, lots of space for cardio. Something does need to be done About a specific group of people who constantly hog the leg press machine asif they have their name on it and stare at the people who even approach the leg press. That isn’t acceptable.

Negative experience: OVERSUBSCRIBED! I joined from when the gym first opened and its getting busier and busier no matter what time of day you visit. You waste 60% of your time just waiting for weight machines. Also the music is TRASH. You know when you're on holiday abroad, and you flick through the TV and come across random foreign music channels...yeah its like that. Also you gotta pay for parking.

Negative experience: The level of boxing equipment is disastrous, but that's the image this club gives. Only two or three punching bags for such a big club. The bags are badly hung and much too low which damages them much more quickly, to believe that the Everlast team knows absolutely nothing about boxing. Also many of the fitness machines are out of order.

Positive experience: Great gym, but really need to update the woman's section with the weights, as this will encourage women to progress in their resistance training. Also help for those who feel uncomfortable in the main section.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. Plenty of space in the changing rooms. Lockers outside the changing room as well if your just dropping in for a quick session. Has a large variety of weights and almost all machines you can need. Large cardio section as well.

Negative experience: It's cheap but overcrowded and machines are always broken. Every time you speak to a member of staff they say it will be fixed soon and it's not for months.

Fantastic experience: Perfect gym for bodybuilding people. Has Sauna,changing rooms,Locker rooms, lot of advanced equipment & weight lifting equipment Has a protein restaurant for refreshments & energy drinks.

Negative experience: Claims to have CCTV on false pretent, 10 bikes have been stolen from the gym belonging to gym users in a period of 12 months. The manager is non does not respond to email requests to see who stole the bikes from the gym, neither assist the police with the request of enquiry. Watch out there's a thief about

Negative experience: This gym is highly unprofessional, they have gimmical joining membership packages but carry on taking money out of your account without your knowledge. I had clearly called up and cancelled my membership in February 2022 and in August 2022 they are still taking money out. They have an employee called Simon that I cancelled with and the same employee had promised me an entire refund of the non consented direct debits but did not get me the refund in the end. He is the same employee that made a mistake and did not cancel my membership and now I'm paying an additional 6 months plus membership and not attending either ! It's ridiculous! I escalated this to Simons manager, called Oliver who admitted the mistake and saw from notes on the account that he did make several mistakes yet he argued nothing could be done about this and he will not refund me a single penny. I asked for some ownership to be taken and to consider the reason behind my cancellation and that i have a very rare brain disease and was no longer allowed to attend they gym and that I was happy to provide medical proof of this, however he was not empathetc at all and bore no significance to a disability and life threatening illness. I was utterly shocked for a huge label like SPORTS DIRECT (Everlast) to have no ethical policies in place was appaling. Oliver had very bad customer service, with no professionalism and did not put right his employees mistake with some compensation and compassion on my side nor did he call me back within the promised time frame given. Stay well clear of this gym, they have ridiculous monetary schemes and gimmicks going on that you will get caught into, no inclusion & diversity policy, no fair complaints procedure and staff that lie and don't know what theyre doing. They did the same with my friends membership too so I know I am not a single case. I am not having a rant or into writing reviews like this, I am a professional woman and am being sincerely honest and feel it's important people know what they are signing up for.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, and good structured classes!

Negative experience: The lack of water fountains is very unusual for a commercial gym. Plus the front of house and reception seem to be at best lack luster in its dealing with members getting entry to the gym with ease. It feels like one is a burden rather than a fee ☺️ paying member.‍♀️‍♀️

Negative experience: Went there to JUST view what equipments they have for a future membership, the girl who works there asked me to give: name , surname , date of birth, email and address, that didn’t happen to me even in China, I guess if you want to be a member they’ll ask you for your dna or something of the sort.

Negative experience: This gym has declined in standards, in fact it has none. The staff are unhelpful, unbothered and have no motivation. There is no professionalism. There seems to be a very negative energy with them. When coming into the gym you are welcomed with dirty tissues and plastic bottles around the gym floor. Equipment is frequently broken and there seems to be no urgency in having this repaired. A lot of people come to the gym for their mental health, a gym is suppose to be a safe space for people that go to train. In this gym one does not feel this.

Negative experience: A member since the opening. Unfortunately the gym has taken a massive down turn in its service, its equipment maintenance and repair. The cleaning of the gym has taken a sharp noise dive. The wider organisation do not seem to cary about its customers and their ground level personal experience. Bitterly disappointed as this gym was once a great place, with good service...but all good things must come to an end!

Fantastic experience: Good equipment, very nice and helpful staff that answers queries fastly. The place is spacious, there is also a sauna and on top of it fitness classes included in a very low monthly price. The only two disadvantages I can think of is no water fountain and opening hours till 6pm in the weekends, but considering the price this place is amazing. I highly recommend to everyone

Positive experience: Gym is very nice and clean but the workers are lazy they don’t even help customer last time forgot my card and I used to go gym der two years ago and it was not like this one talk fella who works at the till thick as two planks of wood

Fantastic experience: Busy at times good equipment

Negative experience: Called and contacted them via the iform on their website several times to cancel my membership however no response recieved. Cancelled my Direct Debit as per my rights as payment was still being taken many months later, and immediately received an email saying I owed money plus admin fees. Shambles, they couldn't find any records of my efforts to call or contact them (if their call line doesn't just keep cutting you off) and when you finally do get through, despite you making the effort to email, call and pester you are still charged admin fees for their negligence.

Fantastic experience: Love this place, opening hours are great and makes a nice change from our normal gym.

Negative experience: i am trying to cancel my membership for months and they cant cancel it they dont even give the money that they took from my account after i cancelled it. when i was trying to explain my situation they acted as i am lying. staff is not helpful at all they dont care.

Positive experience: good gym but waaayyy to busy , especially during covid times.

Negative experience: For anyone thinking of joining this gym - think again. My daughter was paying £10 a month and has been trying to stop her gym membership since returning from Uni at the start of June. Despite jumping through all the hoops required, she now owes £50! We won't be paying this and on the basis the Everlast Complaints Team seem unlikely to respond, we will be taking this up with the regulator to get a sensible resolution. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
