Fantastic experience: Large light pool. Clean dry changing rooms!!! Gym large enough that you don't feel invaded.. Very helpful staff, especially Liam. Great

Negative experience: From the perspective of a gym goer the facilities are really poor, there is only one bench press and only two squat rack so if the gym is even marginally busy you find yourself waiting for equipment, the opening times on a weekend mean that for anyone who has to work weekends it is not an option to use the gym as it closes at 4pm and does not open earlier enough to go before work. For the cost of a monthly membership it is simply not worth it. There should be a cheaper options for those who wish to only lift weights and do not wish to use the pool or other facilities.

Negative experience: Really poor facilities and poorly run. On par with Brittas Empire's sport center.. We regularly play football in the sports hall however it's looking like we won't be continuing due to the price (which is more than booking the school astro turf), Very poor community sports center

Fantastic experience: Joined as a member on a deal, getting 3 weeks free! Great sized pool and brilliant gym, I only go during the daytime and it's not really busy. For a local sports centre it's pretty good.

Negative experience: Don’t bother trying to call them. They won’t ever pick up.

Fantastic experience: I joined today as temporary member for month of October whilst working in the area, techy stuff can quickly confuse me, so many thanks to 'Liam' on reception who had me joined up and on the App in no time, wish there were more Liams out there, so helpful.

Negative experience: Doesn’t allow you to go in their gym if you’re not a local? Poor policy

Fantastic experience: I took my two daughters swimming whilst down for the weekend, I was so pleased to see how clean and well kept the changing rooms and pool were. Also such a nice change to come in to somewhere and see bubbly smiling people behind the counter especially the one with pink hair.We will definitely return.

Positive experience: Nice local authority pool. Nothing special, hut ok for an hours swim. The soft play was roasting and smelly, and it wasn't even a warm day .

Negative experience: Member of staff spoke to me like a robot when I arrived with my baby and the pool was closed. The website did not say the pool was closed. Very confusing.

Positive experience: Absolutely love my early morning swim. The staff work hard and couldn't be more helpful. Nearby, affordable, perfect!

Positive experience: I use the gym here and that's OK. It's the changing rooms that I don't like. They are always dirty. The floor has soggy sweet papers lying around and hair and bubble gum lie in the waste pipe of the showers. I know it's used by the school and children often don't care, but can't we employ some decent cleaners?

Positive experience: Only saw the pool but looked ok out side could have done with a bit of a spruce up but didn't affect our visit

Negative experience: Been 6 times in the past 3 months to use the learner pool everytime it has been freezing cold. Not the best for toddlers learning to swim.... Spoke to reception who said the pool should be at 29°, not that she checked. Will be looking for somewhere a bit warmer to go next time.

Negative experience: staff need sorting out and trying to get through to the head office is a total waste of time you sign up in the leisure centre and when you have a problem they cannot help you if you want to book a class you have to wait till 6 days before and then wait till after 10pm to hopefully book if the system is working total waste of time

Fantastic experience: Some people like to swim or go to the gym in their spare time. I like to sleep in a forest and paint myself blue. I like to convince people that I'm a modern day Smurf. The point is people have different definitions of leisure. The Quayside leisure centre has a different one to mine, and thats ok. I will never again try to combine our two approaches to leisure. It used to have a bar in the 1990s but not anymore.

Negative experience: You provide WIFI in the complex, so why when you use your phone lying flat on your lap! Are you scrutinised by a supposed pool attendant intently! When before this all he could do was pick his nose or chew his nails, or look at the floor? When he was supposedly looking after the baby pool, which was busy at that time? Take a look at your staff, this one was bored, disinterested and is no asset to you or the general safety those he duty to!

Positive experience: Good size pool, reasonable prices, very friendly staff. Changing room area need a professional cleaning company.

Positive experience: Good sized pools, particularly the baby pool which had a lot of space for new swimmers. As with most pools these days it could do with being a few degrees warmer but otherwise a good place to swim.
