Positive experience: Great place for a kids birthday party. Very helpful friendly staff

Fantastic experience: Lovely pool with convenient changing cubicles. Other swimmers polite in the pool and the staff are very helpful. Value for money. My only issue would maybe be better showers.

Negative experience: Área around pool ok when entering water, however turned very cold quickly. Changing area very dirty, need a good deep clean.

Positive experience: Facilities are basic but a great range of fitness classes with good instructors. Good value and friendly vibe.

Positive experience: Lovely facilities with friendly staff. Only complaint is that they have recently changed the time of one of their swimming sessions and everyone who attends prefers the original time.

Positive experience: Overall great place, the staff were kind and the flume slide was amazing the water is sort of cold but after getting into the jacuzzi for a minute it warmed up. Great depth (1.2m for younger children and 2.0m for adults) only downside is the space in the changing rooms I was trying to get my socks on without soaking my towel or socks and thought to sit down but the seat was way to small to move. Positive experience: A good place to bring the grandchildren to swim during the holidays. I couldn't believe how empty it was on a Saturday lunchtime in the summer. Reasonably priced and big enough for them to have fun

Negative experience: We went as family it was so cold the hot tub was very cold. My daughter picked up a chlorine rash dont waste your money! They do not clean the pool it was dirty on the floor.

Negative experience: Card Access door is almost always open meaning anyone can access gym.

Positive experience: A great place to go swimming it looks really cool from the inside as it is made from wood.There is also a gym.

Negative experience: Pool closed but they don't bother to phone to tell members who are booked for a swim. Complaint logged with the company again but I'm not expecting a positive, speedy response or improvement if like previous times.

Negative experience: Swimming sessions for public/family swimming are only 55 mins long. Rubbish! Not long enough for a decent enjoyable fun swimming session for my daughter and her friend. Cost per child was £3.30. Booking experience is not user friendly and in fact downright painful. Couldn’t do it on the app through which I could only book for myself so had to phone. Was amazed someone answered as they don’t usually, but the member of staff did sound very unimpressed with the whole process herself and huffed and puffed about having to manually book the children on. I would happily do it myself and would rather not speak to a quite rude member of staff if I don’t have to. Why can’t I book people other than myself through the app? It’s ridiculous. All in all I’d say the whole experience is really off putting and I’m surprised they get any customers through the door given the battle to actually book anything and the short swim sessions. Awful.

Negative experience: i suggest you upgrade your staff as the receptionist was very rude! i do not recommend coming here!

Negative experience: Ever since Everyone Active took over the local leisure centre in Thatcham the prices have gone up and the service has gone down. There are some staff who are lovely and others who cannot be bothered, the centre is in various states of disrepair at all times including out dated gym equipment which is going on the blink, insufficient bathroom facilities and a broad range of classes that you can access only if you're available during the day, don't have an emergency and if you want a chance at the popular classes you must now pay an extra premium for. Shocking service and appalling business practices, not worth it.

Positive experience: I Like Swimming ‍♀️

Negative experience: Shocking, tried to go with the little ones and had to go in the main pool because there wasn't enough lifeguards to have the kids section open, the 3 lifeguards we saw chatting in the office for our whole 1hr swim, must have been very busy. Will not go again. Why they couldn't have roped off the deep end and allowed us to go in to the shallows I have no clue. Genuinely surprised the pool is still in business.

Fantastic experience: Good but always waiting for school kids to finish swimming before members of the public can do their swimming because they are always going over their time, also showers hit and miss sometimes warm most of the times cold but swimming pool very good.

Negative experience: Pool is a perfect size, but changing rooms, showers, etc. are filthy, it coukd do with a deep clean.

Positive experience: Swimming lessons are generally good. I just wish empty chairs can be used by other people and not used as bag stands or towel racks by some parents/carers or those who cannot be bothered to sit but feel they are privileged to block a chair.

Fantastic experience: Great place for a swim for all ages.

Negative experience: Nice gym however Mens showers are rubbish the shower heads are fixed to high so 5he spray goes right past you, unless you stand in the middle of the changing room, this has been mentioned multiple time but nothing seems to get resolved. Given the current climate you would think they would correct this as it saves water and gas as people can get in and out quicker.

Positive experience: Negatives first: The mens changing room is small. Need £1 coin to secure a locker - that aren't big enough for a large squash racket bag. Shower heads could do with de-scaling. And the squash courts need a good clean. On the plus side, the squash courts are very good to play on. Between reception and squash court area, it looked clean and tidy. And there're tables and chairs to sit and watch the swimming pool area. Car park is well lit (but one of the lights is blinking).

Positive experience: Clean gym. Has courts and good classes. It has the basic equipment but is over priced for what it is.

Denise was so helpful and friendly! And also made me valued as a customer. Keep doing what your doing Denise, You are an asset to the company!

Fantastic experience: Good range of facilities layout a little bit confusing but overall good.

Positive experience: Hall surface is a bit slippy. Showers were ice cold. But parking on a Sunday us free

Positive experience: Badminton session was good. The only issue was that the courts are not numbered which caused confusion at the start of the session. There was a standoff with two other gentlemen for the first 5 minutes in a dispute as to whether the badminton court was 2 or 3.

Positive experience: Clean well equipped gym class was good this morning.

Negative experience: Took ages to answer the phone, then told no general swim during half term week due to lack of staff, they also never seem to update their swim timetable, saying term time swim even when the children are off during half term, poor service for local residents.

Fantastic experience: Kennet Leisure Centre may not be the best equipped gym in the county but, it is very clean and great value for money. I am proud to be a regular visitor and patron. The pool is always quiet if you get there early-doors!

Positive experience: My favourite gym locally. Albeit small, it's well equipped and the staff are friendly. Nice pool but limited shower facilities (ie not poolside). Peak times it can be hard to secure parking because of the school opposite but when they introduce parking restrictions with a two hour window for members, for those of us who spend in excess of two hours at the centre using the gym and swimming, the problem doesn't go away

Positive experience: The swimming pool changing rooms look filthy, it needs to be updated, would be nice to have more showers with more privacy, pool is a nice size with a deep end. Has a jacuzzi which is small.. Has a gym upstairs, and options to buy costumes and goggles, also a sweet dispenser, nice big sports hall in the back, overall my opinion is its good!!

Positive experience: Nice Place for a leisurely swim in the morning. For the more devilish swimmers, the slide is extremely slow but otherwise great place.

Negative experience: Either ditch the pool timetable or update it daily , yet again the timetable says general swim and flume today and at this minute swimmers can't do the general swim as it is mat and flume , this happens nearly every weekend

Positive experience: When i went to go swimming the pool had a PH issue and wasnt allowed to let anyone in but they gave us a free swim because of it

Positive experience: Well equipped gym, open good hours. You just need to avoid the times the local school children are in during certain weekdays as can get busy. Changing room facilities aren't great but functional and the car parks a nightmare during school hours-presume school staff are using it as overflow parking. Jan 20: The swimming pools another matter though as regards changing/poolside which are dirty and stained. Well overdue a deep clean & revamp

Positive experience: Great facilities and staff are amazing, but the pool is a little cold for small children (good for lane swimming though!) and you can hardly ever swim as they only have general swim for a few hours a day and don't let you use any part of the pool while something else is on.
