Fantastic experience: Lovely gym ! Been coming here since June and I enjoy it. The classes are always fun and challenging and the instructors do a fantastic job. They are a great team and always very friendly and approachable. The machines are great and always look clean. Would recommend coming here

Negative experience: Avoid this gym, not very clean the showers where covered in pubes

Fantastic experience: For the price this is a fantastic gym in a convenient location. Three minor gripes - Lack of foam rollers - Front entrance door is always open due to footfall outside and this makes it quite cold downstairs. - school kids occasionally.

Fantastic experience: Love the layout of this PureGym compared to others that I’ve used before. I like to train late night and I feel very safe even when up on the 2nd floor. Personal trainers are nice and welcoming too when I’ve been during the day.

Fantastic experience: don’t listen to reviews most of them are bullshit, this is THE best Puregym in london literally nothing to complain about and has the lowest starting prices in all of london. 3 floors absolutely spacious. Don’t complain about sweat when going to a commercial gym, honestly what the heck would you expect. Great variety of equipment enough weights for everybody and since its so big you can still get workout done in peak hours.

Negative experience: Very disappointed. Two weeks ago, both toilets and showers were out of order for few days. Today, once entering the gym, everything was ok, now leaving - again, toilets, showers out of order!! This is my last month using this gym.

Negative experience: The gym is spacious however the overall quality of the equipment is severely lacking. There are no wipes or alcohol available anywhere so most of the equipment just feels gross to touch as its covered in layers of sticky grease and sweat. The classes which take place at the studio are frankly a nuisance to the rest of the gym goers. For some reason the instructors feel the need to blast their crappy music at rave volume to the point where you can’t hear your own music through your noise cancelling headphones. I’m paying a premium subscription because I would like to have the opportunity to also use the gym in central near my work, however at this point its just not worth it. I am cancelling my subscription. Everything about this gym just feels substandard.

Negative experience: very good gym new equipment but it is cracking a lot the smell of sewage is unbearable They don't even open a window to let the smell out

Positive experience: Good range of equipment and the layout over the three floors works well, even when it's busy it never feels chaotic. Really convenient location. Main issue is the complete lack of cleaning stations. Other Pure Gyms have this so I'm not sure why this has been overlooked? I wash my hands at least three times a visit because nothing is ever sanitised. Which is kinda grim considering how much use things get. Some simple hygiene products would instantly switch it from a 3* to 4* gym for its price range.

Negative experience: The gym is very good, spacious, organized and has a variety of equipment and classes, and the staff is always friendly. My only disappointment with the gym was the lack of alcohol and paper to disinfect the equipment. I find it very unhygienic to use a sweaty piece of equipment, even though all the other gyms I have been to and frequent, including other Pure Gym branches, always provide paper and alcohol. I don't understand why they are saving money on something so important, such as keeping equipment disinfected for use. I asked an employee and he told me that unfortunately the gym does not provide anything to clean it. I was very disappointed with how little importance they give to

Positive experience: its definitely a good gym, good environment as well as lighting etc, the machines are good however one thing i find a little annoying just based of personal preference is the variety of grips for example it would be nice to have mag grips for the lat pulldown machine as the rubber grip gets quite annoying after a long time of using them. Despite this the price is amazing and its good overall.

Negative experience: The staff is really slow and doesn't respond to the questions well. It was really complicated.

Fantastic experience: Probably one of the best gyms I’ve been to, however if I had one complaint it’d be that there’s only 1 cable row machine and only two narrow handle bars in the whole gym.

Fantastic experience: Tried a lot of PureGyms and this is by far the best one in my experience. All three (!!!) gym floors are invariably spotless, including the female changing rooms — thanks to the trainers and cleaners, who I frequently see maintaining the equipment during my visits, but also in part due to the generally very respectful attitude of members of this gym. (The latter certainly can’t be said of all gyms — but I really do love the environment at PureGym Wimbledon.) There is good variety of equipment and usually enough machines and free-weights to support the gym’s peak capacity, although I usually train at off-peak hours. At peak times perhaps expect short waits for machines, but nothing unreasonable or massively inconvenient. Staff are friendly, kind and always willing to give you helpful tips and pointers, and make classes engaging and challenging. With the opening offer deal (21.99/month for Plus multi access membership) I couldn’t be happier with value for money. Very pleased to call this my home gym. :)

Fantastic experience: Love this place! Joined when it opened and left a good review so thought I’d leave another months later to give a better one. Classes are great and, although they change the classes around, it’s good because gives everyone a chance to do classes they might not always do. So far all the fitness instructors for the classes I’ve attended have been attentive, engaging and knowledgeable which is great. Shout out to Joe who’s my fav! Sorry everyone else, y’all are fantastic but Joe’s my fav! Definitely worth the money. And great community too! I have gym friends for the first time!! Woohoo!

Fantastic experience: I was pleased to hear that PureGym was opening in Wimbledon back in June. Perfect for someone who lives , works and/or commute in the area. The gym is clean, spacious and positive workout environment. Staff are welcoming, friendly and always on the side to guide you. And there are a variety of classes to fit the vast majority of abilities and timings. Talking about classes. I really love the Wednesday 7.00 am class with Joe. He's knowledgeable, fun, guides you and encourages you to push yourself to the next level. Recommended 100% plus

Positive experience: Attend this gym at least 5 days a week . It has parking by Morrisons, which is free during certain hours of the day (before 8:30 am. and after 6 pm, I think). It's got a great month rate for the first 12 months (£14.99pm). There are plenty of beaches and weights. Available, but I can only speak for early morning gym users - 5am to 7:30am. Always clean and plenty of machinery and weights. They managed to fit everything in the ground and 2 upper floors, and it's a little crazy on the way down when you've got bambi legs. Haven't tried classes yet or afternoon and evening sessions, so I can't comment on that. If you need your space or don't want to feel rushed the this gym is great in the morning. To be fair with the amount of space they have available, there could've been more variation with the equipment but for the price...I can't complain.

Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing! The only negative are some people, they walk in and they stay on the machines with their phones and dont use the machines. It is very annoying as they end up taking the machines for like an hour, its very funny to watch but there should be a rule or something.... If you are on your phone leave the machine and go to the side there are people who want to use it. Or they seat at the machines with their friends and they talk non stop without using the machines. Very annoying, but its a gym and you get all kinds of people. Also if you are a man and you read this, stop moaning and screaming when you do the weights it is very annoying. Also stop throwing them down or make a lot of noise for no reason you are not impressing anyone. You use a public space, be respectful and act like a human.

This individual always displays the highest level of professionalism, and sincerity when interacting with members or attending to the needs of the gym. Marcus is always happy to help members at the gym, and takes great pride in his work—whether this be advertising the gym in public (Backpack with Marketing flag of the gym). This member of staff also knows the delicate balance of socialising and leaving members to get on a train.

Would be good if there were paper towels and spray bottles so people can wipe down their equipment. Overall an above average gym for what you pay.

Plenty of varied, new equipment and lovely attentive staff/instructors They have various classes including spins and boot camps, which are fun and accommodating for everyone (I started as a workout beginner but found it enjoyable yet challenging). They're always looking to improve and open to feedback as well! All the trainers are lovely but Jamie and Rob in particular not only run extremely engaging classes but have gone out of their way to give me helpful advice even outside the classes - thank you :)

Positive experience: Great equipment and space.Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Should be wipes or a rule for people to bring a towel as so many dirty sweated on machines. Another rule should be mobile phone usage.... Only music, not videos being taken, it's a gym. Students need to be told to put weights away.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loving Pure Gym Wimbledon! It’s so spacious, all of the equipment are top of the range and new. They’ve also got multiples of the same equipment so no queues for instance Lat pull down machine and squat racks. Excellent functional floor, multiple levels inside so you can find a nice area to workout in. It’s also so light and airy making morning workouts enjoyable. The staff are so friendly, encouraging and helpful adding to the buzz of the new gym. It’s excellently located and easy to access. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, they were made by people months before the gym opened who were impatient in its opening. They have yet to experience its wonders so I hope you give it a shot!

Fantastic experience: The Gym is New, it's fresh, amazing looking, more equipment than I can ask for, and has a beautiful studio with cables. The Spin Bikes are a big bonus, they are top of the range. The price of the gym is insanely cheap, and in prime town Wimbledon. The PTs are Amazing and friendly. This is definitely a go to gym. You'll love it

Negative experience: Don’t join this club as there’s no gym in Wimbledon but they are charging you. Tried to cancel but you’re not able to do online and the service desk doesn’t respond. Also there’s no help desk number. Avoid it!
