Polished hotel featuring a bright restaurant/bar, plus a fitness centre with an indoor pool.

Our comment from FitFit UK about Parkmore Hotel:

Parkmore Hotel, located in Stockton-On-Tees, offers a blend of both charming hospitality and a few areas needing improvement. Guests have praised the friendly and professional staff, noting their helpfulness and welcoming attitudes. The hotel features clean and comfortable rooms along with excellent spa facilities that many visitors found enjoyable.

Furthermore, the hotel boasts a great location that allows easy access to both Yarm and Stockton, along with plenty of parking space. The breakfast options received mixed reviews, with some guests enjoying the food while others reported inconsistencies in quality and service speed.

While many enjoyed their time in the spa, the gym equipment was highlighted as a further positive aspect. However, there are notable concerns regarding maintenance, as several guests reported outdated facilities, cleanliness issues, and an overall need for refurbishment.

Overall, while the Parkmore Hotel offers delightful amenities and a strong staff presence, it is clear that improvements in service consistency and a focus on updating facilities would enhance the guest experience immensely.

Parkmore Hotel: Opinions

3.8/5 (198 Opinions)
Lauren Ashley Home. 8 months ago

Negative experience: extremely unpleasant night… the night time “security” man is extremely arrogant and whatever he is doing takes precedent over a customer waiting! When he eventually ‘helped’ open the door for a food delivery it was as though I was an inconvenience and I received a lot of attitude, this man is a discredit to the hotel and I am deeply annoyed at how he spoke to me. The hotel is a run down, poorly maintained budget facility that could do with atleast a decent customer service approach to make up for it! I wouldn’t stay again

Negative experience: Booked the Parkmore Hotel for our choirs Christmas lunch. The food was preordered weeks before as we were a party of 13, this I would think was to take pressure off the kitchen, despite this, the food when it came was awful, I had ordered the beef pie which was a small bowl of runny stew with an undercooked puff pastry top, two Brussels sprouts ,two small carrots and two pieces of parsnip. The Christmas pudding was the size of a hockey puck. From the feed back from the other girls I don't think the Christmas dinner faired much better. Spoiled our day..

Negative experience: The spa and gym is somewhat okay. Good equipment in the gym but the spa/pool and changing rooms need a proper clean or refurbishment. Dirty floors/mould, old dated broken tiles and a nail found in the hydrotherapy pool. Also, you cant really call it a spa when it’s full of kids. Felt more like I was in Stockton splash than in a relaxing spa. If I had paid for the day I’d be asking for my money back. Once my three months membership runs out I probably won’t be back

Negative experience: Regular business traveller 180+ nights a year. Parkmore used to be reasonable, but has fallen far and needs a significant investment. It’s one saving grace used to be the gym was decent, but it’s falling into disrepair too now breakfast hit and miss depending if the chef turns up or not (he didn’t last week) Was travelling with colleagues and all had similar complaints Will not be back, have advised our admin team to blacklist

Fantastic experience: Came for a childrens event, although my little boy didn't participate everyone was very friendly, food was nice

Andrew 1 year ago

Positive experience: Still looking tired, despite a facelift. Creaky floors, small rooms, mediocre restaurant with tables that are too high for the chairs. Saving grace is the fitness centre and spa, but even that is below average for industry and prices.

Negative experience: Booked a spa deal. No towels provided! Atmosphere in restaurant was bland and mediocre. Would benefit from outdoor seating!

Positive experience: Nice rooms but very hot in the Preston suite which has no air con. Not ideal in the middle of summer. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

Negative experience: This hotel has to be the worse value hotel I've stopped in, I was working away and after a long hard day booked the above hotel. Upon arrival I was allocated room 142 which when I entered the room was filthy, decoration was terrible and worse than that the bed was completely knackered matress collapsed to springs, bedding was dirty towels were dirty see photos.... for £107 such bad value. The resturant was terrible with cheap food for expensive prices will never ever stay here again and wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone !!! Less than 1 star review by me and I stop in a lot of hotels for work !!

Positive experience: Stayed here numerous times on business. Free EV charging and leisure facilities which is great, majority of staff are great apart from the fella who usually serves at breakfast which is useless - waited 25 mins for breakfast. Room could do with air conditioning but overall adequate and will return again.

Negative experience: I just wouldn't go back! In no particular order: The tiles in the bathroom were cracked, not just one or 2 but whole sections. The shower was very dated to put it politely. The floor was extremely slippery if you used the shower. There were burn marks and stains on the floor and the furniture was spartan and looked like it wasn't in keeping with each other. The walls were blank and drab with no pictures or any colour to the room. Everything looked and felt well used and warn and not very clean. There was no air-conditioning just a very in effective one speed fan and I'm not sure if it achieved anything. The desk fan was covered in a white bin bag, great for stopping dust perhaps but looks bad. The room itself also only had two available plugs, including one for the kettle and neither was near the bed. The bed however was comfortable. The blind on the window looked basic and cheap and didn't do much to block out the security light which shone like a search light into the room as it covered the car park. Finally regardong the hotel, the decor of the hotel corridors reminded me of a nursing home and again looked, used, tired and dirty. The spa could have been nice however in the pool and particularly in the hydro pool there were more tiles missing (even being piled on the side) than there were in situ. Meaning the same issues of cleanliness were apparent but so two was a question of safety as many of the broken or spaces for missing tiles were Sharpe. All in all I have to say I was disappointed, I have been in more pleasant and welcoming hotel rooms which were cheaper and cleaner, including many that were very heavily used. The only reason for not complaint or report it was that we only stayed for a night, didn't spend a lot of time in the room although I wouldn't have wanted to and I wasn't even asked on check out if everything had been ok. With a major refurbishment and modernisation this could be lovely, but I'm afraid once bitten twice shy and I won't be staying again.

Chris Kirton 1 year ago

Negative experience: The Parkmore hotel is conveniently located between Yarm and Stockton which makes it great for accessing both areas. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good although the continental selection was pretty limited and service a little slow. However the hotel is desperately in need of refurbishment. The rooms and hallways are scruffy, with holes in the wall, chipped painted and obviously bodged repairs. The bathrooms in the hotel rooms are particularly bad and look extremely dated and worn out. The rooms and general maintenance really do let the place down; it’s a shame but there are many other hotels in the local area where you can get a much nicer room for the same money. Probably best avoided until they refurbish the entire place.

Positive experience: Haven't been here for years but decided to give the bottomless brunch spa day a go - pleasantly surprised. The staff were all lovely especially at the Birdcage restaurant, we had a lovey young lady named Hope looking after us, she was very attentive, cheerful and held great conversation with everyone in the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble for her. Nice food in comfy surroundings that were kept clean and tidy. SPA was relaxing - pool, steam room, sauna so all good. A nice relaxing day.

Positive experience: I attended a baby shower on 17th February 2024 for afternoon tea. I'm gluten free, not a lifestyle choice, which when booked was stated. The chair I sat on was so wobbly I had to change it. After a while drinks orders were taken and it took nearly half an hour to bring pots of tea coffee and milk. Another wait and the afternoon tea cages came, 1 between 3 we were told by not very friendly staff. About 10 minutes after my gluten free cage came. 4 half sandwiches, with crusts still on and slightly stale seeded bread. The 2 fruit scones, one of which was burnt on the top, tasted awful and we're slightly under cooked in the middle. The 3 small bits of cake were soo sweet I couldn't eat them. I had to go looking for staff to ask for more tea. Again after other members of the group had their tea and coke delivered, after 10 minutes i had to look for the waitress to see where my tea was! At no time did anyone come to see if everything was OK. Again we had to find staff to get a knife to cut the cake, which was far too small! Once more, someone had to look for staff to get the bill. I'm miffed that I had to pay £16.95 for 2 cups of tea and 4 small half sandwiches. At no time were we asked if everything was ok. Spoilt what should have been a good day.

Negative experience: Service this morning for breakfast was appalling, I asked for 2 poached eggs, 2 bacon, 2 mushrooms, tomatoes and been, I went to make my toast and the server came back to me and asked if I'd ordered eggs and o said yes 2 poached, waited around 20 minutes for my breakfast to arrive from the other server it came with 1 of each of the items I'd asked for and 2 prices of black pudding that I hadn't asked for I explained what I'd ordered and she took it back to the kitchen, she came back with the exact same plate and said this is your order and it is what was on the ticket, I said it's not what I ordered and she again took it back, then the origanal server came back out with the same plate again and said this is your breakfast you ordered and chef says you can only have 1 if each item, but I didnt ask for black pudding and theres 2 peices of that, I could not believe I was being treated so badly, i had to get up and leave and told the server I've never had service si bad

Fantastic experience: Amazing weekend away for a birthday treat. Used a Wowcher but they do the same deal in house, so you’re better off booking directly with the hotel so you avoid the voucher fees and the hotel avoid the commission fees. Two night stay with dinner included on the first night and a welcome drink each, spa access for both days, breakfast included for both days for £179, absolute bargain for the quality of food we had and the standard of service provided Everyone that we encountered in the hotel and spa were very friendly and welcoming. They made the stay so much better with genuine enthusiasm for their job and attentiveness that seems hard to come by in todays industry. We had a steak night deal one night with two rump steaks and a bottle of wine for £35, they had ran out of ribeye so they gave us two complimentary starters which we never kicked up a fuss about, it was just a lovely act of hospitality which was much appreciated. Lunch the next day consisted of a couple of sandwiches with chips and dips which were lovely. Great value for money. Dinner the second evening was the two course set menu included with the stay and a glass of Prosecco each. Food again delicious , well seasoned, good portions. The spa and gym were a very clean, safe environment with great facilities. We spent hours in the spa on the Saturday between the pool, Hydro pool, sauna and steam room. Plus lounging poolside with a book, lovely, relaxed time. We used the happy hour in the bar both nights, 4-6, £3 a bud light and £15 for two classic cocktails. Both the espresso martini and the Long Island ice tea were delicious. The only negative I could have with the visit was the experience of breakfast. The continental options were very poor and the wait for the hot breakfast was very long. Although on both mornings , despite the long wait, the food was delicious when it arrived. Staff were very apologetic also which was appreciated but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. Can’t recommend this place enough, even had the pleasure of talking to the new head chef so has some excellent ideas for the place and I hope this place is packed every weekend to make the most of the excellent food and service on offer

Positive experience: I had to just check that I hadn’t already written a review as the one previous to mine is saying exactly the same thing. We checked in ok. ( 9th December) Asked about evening meal. The girl on reception said yes you can have a meal but it would have to be after 8.30. She asked if we would like to book . We said we would look at a menu and decide. She also said it would be ok for us to come down to the restaurant without booking , as long as it was after 8.30. We went to our room , all was ok. The room looked like it had recently been updated with new tiling in the bathroom etc. A couple of hours later we went downstairs to have a few drinks before our meal. We had also already had a drink in our room. There were 2 functions on at the time , a birthday party and a Christmas party. We asked a passing waiter ( sounded South African)if we were ok to go straight into the restaurant once we had finished our drinks. He asked if we had a reservation. We said no as we had been told on check in that it wasn’t needed. He said he would ask the chef when he went back to the kitchen. 5 minutes later he returned and said sorry, chef says he can’t accommodate you tonight!! This wouldn’t have been such a problem if we hadn’t been told 3 hours earlier that we would definitely be able to get food, and also the fact that we had both had drinks and were unable to now drive somewhere else, plus it was now too late to get anything other than a takeaway…which is what we ended up doing. We told the girl on reception that we had been refused food and she said she had been told that it would be ok. Told her that the restaurant was empty and she said yes it’s because all the staff are busy with the functions. I think they need to make people aware of the fact there will be no evening meals when other functions are on, but it’s a bit poor when you’re also a paying guest and unable to get served. Also make sure all the staff are told the same information. The breakfast the next day was nice. Plenty of choice but again nobody there when we went in so didn’t get to see a menu and just sat ourselves anywhere! We would maybe stay again as the room and breakfast were nice, but need to sort out their service.

As a travellers would expect better service , Had breakfast all ok , but asked for pot of tea after , but never got it , so not a happy with your service at all .

Positive experience: This is a review of a meal deal we had and can not comment on rooms or other services. The deal was a two steak dinner with a bottle of wine. At £35 you'd think fantastic. Hold on, don't all rush out!!. The meal just didn't come anywhere close to the environment. It was frozen chips, the steak tasted initially of liver? And it was a bit tough, not the toughest I've had by a long shot, but with the quality you can buy nowadays, it wasn't good enough. The peppercorn sauce(no choices) was some weird tasting gravy mix with peppercorns in!! I would recommend the head chef or the hotel manager pay a visit to Al Forno at Ingleby Barwick for their steak deal, slightly more money but it wasn't so long ago that they were cheaper, but the quality hasn't changed. A great deal for guests and locals, but it could be much better. The servers were friendly and helpful. Nice place but could not recommend their meal deal, unless you want confirmation on how it shouldn't be done!!

Positive experience: We booked the junior suite, if we had been staying for more than one night I'd had asked to move. Carpets were dirty. Blind broken in the velux window, (but was rectified quickly once mentioned to reception) no sockets next to bed, they were other side of room next to the kettle table. Next to a big extraction pipe but didn't really bother us too much. Bathroom was dated, toilet seat moved and basin was moving too. Bathroom was small and only 1 person could use at a time. Went to use the pool to be told no towels left and could we use the ones in our room? We'll, I said no as what wouldn't dry myself with after a shower in my room.? Plus sides, Courtney on reception was always smiling, happy to help and helpful. I had treatments in the spa of which were amazing. I met a friend for afternoon tea as well which was delicious, cocktails a tad expensive but nice all the same. Food was lovely at breakfast, fresh juices, pastries, cereals, and a delicious cooked breakfast. There was a wedding on the night we stayed and to be honest was dreading bed time, however we didn't hear a thing. We went out in the evening but the food smelled delicious for the evening. I would come back, just not a junior suite. And bring my own towels for the pool.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful decor and a great restaurant. No humous (main part of my meal which I wasn't told until the meal came out and I asked). Ordered smoked salmon at breakfast but they didn't have any. Tired spa .... Missing tiles and very loose rails going into the thermapool. Steam room had no working thermostat. Towels given out are very small, take your own. Wonderful room, very comfy bed!

Positive experience: Dissapointed, me my daughter-in law and grandaughter went for a pamper session followed by afternoon tea, little one had nails and toes painted and we had a massage, into the pool we go and little ones nails started coming off , out of the pool and to the nail technician who repaired them. On to afternoon tea, table was sticky, asked what the afternoon tea was sandwiches, sausage rolls scones and fruit loaf and lemon drizzle cake asked about ice cream as I new my granddaughter wouldn't eat the fruit loaf.that was brought before afternoon tea as told it might melt ???.afternoon tea came ate sandwiches, scones were hard not freshly baked. fruit cake and lemon cake were not touched so took them home for hubby. Really disappointed wouldn't recommend it at all it was supposed to of been a treat for my birthday. But ended up as a total disappointment.

Fantastic experience: We spend a lovely weekend here. The staff were friendly and helpful. We attended a wedding and we were impressed with the service. Our family made good use of the gym,spa and swimming. Some of the family have treatments and they were very happy with these. The breakfast was cooked very well, the waiter service was a bit slow ,but unstandable due to 2 wedding parties in 2 days. Buffet service would have been speedier, but not really a complaint. Would have been a bonus to have a small fridge in the room, maybe something to think about for the future. But all in all I would recommend the hotel. Thank you to James, we really appreciated your help with the wedding cake.

Positive experience: The Parkmore is a great little place. I went fir dinner with my partner & some of her family, and I'm not really used to places like this, I'm used to roughing it & don't deal well with finery, but it was casual enough & very clean and tidy. We had 3 courses, the food was excellent and very hit & fresh. A couple of things could be improved on, such as the wait between courses, missing cutlery, no offer of condiments etc etc BUT the staff were definitely trying their best and nothing was too much trouble for them. Slight room for imorivement but otherwise a very smart & well presented place to eat, stay & celebrate.

Positive experience: No idea about the rooms as im a leisure club member, easygoing friendly gym, shame it's let down by the poor changing rooms, constantly wet floor, often dirty off the wet and outdoor shoes, and the changing room doors need a good quality paint, plus be careful in the spa pool as the small tiles are coming loose and the grout sticks in your feet, it needs a good o/haul by a quality contractor.

Negative experience: felt like a staff member was unprofessional when I brought up nicely a couple things that we thought they should take into consideration (i wasnt complaining just trying to help) . I explained the jacuzzi in my room wasn't working, staff said "it wasn't advertised anyway" - in my opinion I'm paying for the room and whatevers in it should be included in room price and should be working. Its what we pay for as customers The fan was also broken which led to a sleepless night for how hot it was. Me and my partner also found that the food menu didn't have a good variety, when I mentioned this she told me it gets changed seasonally. I was disappointed and won't return because as a customer trying to give some nice feedback for future, they didn't really seem to care or acknowledge our issues. Also not sure if it was a pebble or a little bit of feaces in the pool but it gave me a shock when it floated past my face and its also a choking hazard for swimmers. Room was great though

Negative experience: Firstly, I would like to say the staff were very friendly & we received fabulous customer service. However, we found the spa changing area unclean, the ceiling had mould on it too. There were no cups in the spa area for the water machine. The food in the restaurant was very disappointing, no one ate their meal, we picked at the frozen chips. The burgers were cheap, frozen & had fat on them, were they had been cooked in oil. The fish was pink in the middle, this meant it couldn't be eaten.

Bernadette Johnson 2 years ago

Negative experience: We paid £80 per head for Christmas day lunch and were very disappointed. The hotel is souless, hardly any Christmas decorations in the bar area, lots of bare walls and not even normal decor and touches like pictures that you would usually expect in a hotel. We were then taken into the room set up for lunch. Tables were nicely set but that was it. Again, bland and absolutely no Christmas atmosphere. It was a large room again with dated painted walls, and the only clue that this was a Christmas lunch event was a single Christmas tree smaller than the one I have in my average sized lounge! We were not asked a single time if we wanted a drink, nor shown where the nearest bar was (which at the end of the meal we realised was just behind us behind a wall) so my husband got up twice through the meal and walked to the main reception bar for drinks. Then the food....Nice enough canapés, main course consisted of a plate that contained 2 slices of turkey, one of which couldn't be eaten because it was so hard and dry from however they had kept it warm or reheated it! The main part of our Christmas lunch and it couldn't be eaten! The gravy was already poured over the meal when it was served, my husband prefers without gravy so wouldn't have had it poured on his meal had we been given the option, and mine was minus any stuffing to go with my rock hard turkey! Had I been asked at some point during the meal if everything was ok I would have said not, but this question wasn't asked until the plated were collected, by which time it was too late to do anything about it. The young lady informed the chef of my complaint about the inedible turkey, and came back to offer me some to take home. I declined that offer. And finally my cheese board was on a dinner plate not a board, and the grapes weren't the freshest being a bit brown around the stalks. All in all, very average food at best, average service and absolutely no Christmas ambience at all. I will not be returning. shown into the room for our lunch and this was even worse. Large, and very b

Good morning Bernadette, thank you for taking the time to share your review and I am sorry to hear you felt your experience on Christmas Day was unsatisfactory, we've had numerous emails following the event with positive feedback and asking to rebook for next year already, I am sorry you did not feel the same way. Our Bramhall Suite is where we hold the majority of our large events, decoration on the walls in here is kept to a minimum to allow wedding couples/the event bookers to bring in their own style and colour scheme. On Christmas Day we dress the chairs with bows and decorate the table with crackers etc to bring in the festive feel. My apologies that a piece of your turkey was dry, I have been told that this was raised on the day and the team offered you a full dinner to take home by way of apology. I'm sure if you had specified upon booking for the gravy to be served on the side, this could have been accommodated but we were not aware prior that this was your husband’s preference. Again, please accept my apologies that you were dissatisfied and we hope this would not discourage you from visiting in the future.

Negative experience: Was waiting for Basil Forty to walk out, very poor service, no management structure especially in restaurant orange squash for breakfast instead of juice, ran out of chips, sent a 17 year old girl out, in her own car to get supplies .......management tried to palm it off on the extended weekend due to the queen's funeral......place needs a proper makeover

Positive experience: We were at The Parkmore for a Dine&Spa evening (so cannot comment on some of the hotel facilities - other than it's been in business for at least 40 years so must be doing something right). The meal was delicious and exceeded expectations; the decor of the restaurant is plush and inviting for a quiet and relaxing meal - however this was marred by a group of 5/6 exuberant people arriving for a drink but not eating; could they have gone to one of the bar areas instead? Overall the service was good, surroundings are pleasant, meal was very good. The Hideaway Spa is OK - not a Spa to the standards of others in the area, that said I've been plenty of times and know what to expect there and would not hesitate I'm going again.

Negative experience: I've edited my review due to the exceptionally rude comment at the end from Best Western, this was really rude. We, unfortunately, stayed for a wedding from Friday-Sunday in August and it was one of the worse hotels we have ever stayed in. We never ask to switch rooms but we did here. The room was far too hot and everyone else had the same opinion in the party. Unfortunately there were no other rooms. Shocking there is no aircon since competitors chain hotels like premier inn or the hilton nearby, this was the best western so I was surpised this was not the same as competitors, this was my first and only time stopping at this chain hotel. We read the reviews and were nervous about stopping, they are all true it is really run down hotel. The room was so bad and hot, it was outdated, no air con, window did not open, marked walls, extractor did not work in the bathroom so you were slipping over the floor with condensation from a shower, I could have broke my neck, leg, hip etc. Good job we bought our own fan. When my husband closed the door the shower moved by itself and went everywhere whilst I was in it, not great. Only the ceremony room and the wedding reception room had aircon. The rest of the hotel was a furnace, it was far too hot for a wedding. There were no drinks served for children or those who did not want to drink alcohol like a number of people on my table, this was requested when picking your menu options months before the wedding so I cannot understand why the hotel has pretended this was not paid for, especially since water is free... Only wine was provided with the meal. We had to get our own water and drinks from the bar. Non-alcoholic drinks were only served for the speeches. Breakfast was OK but limited selection of cereal, yogurt and toast for what you paid for the room. The white toast was so hard I thought I would break my teeth. The cooked breakfast range was larger, but the bacon again was really hard not sure if it was cooked and left on a hot plate. The staff were really hard working though and friendly, we felt sorry for them shifting furniture from the ceremony to the reception room in a heatwave. The wedding breakfast food was good. The pool was freezing cold and small. Plenty of parking but for the price we paid rivals like premier inn and hilton are cheaper with aircon and better rooms. Our room was so bad and old fashioned we would never stay at a best western again, they clearly do not care about their guests and want to get the most profit out of all the rooms since they know people will stop for the wedding and pay anything. They have 3 weddings a week these rooms should be fantastic. Not happy they tried to pretend they were independent and not a chain hotel so cannot upgrade all the rooms. Finally, the staff during check in did not mention to us if you have a mobile do not keep it close to the key card which wipes it, happened to us and the in-laws. Really just mention it if it is that common. Really annoying.

Parkmore Hotel
Parkmore Hotel

Thank you once again for reviewing ourselves on a different platform, unfortunately you were booked into our hotel on the hottest weekend for nearly 4 decades. We too understand how hot the building can be being an old Victorian building and fans are allocated into the rooms for guests. We also do not advertise that the hotel is air conditioned. We would love to be able to install air con but unfortunately being independently owned and operated like all best western hotels in the UK we are restricted with what we can spend as we are also still coming off the back of a global pandemic which closed and financially impacted the business for just over 12 months. However once we get back on our feet we will explore the costs to implement this. The window in the room does however open, with it being on the first floor it does have a safety catch for the safety of guests. The fan in the bathroom wasn't mentioned to staff throughout your stay otherwise we could of investigated and resolved the issue for you. in regards to your comments on the wedding this was ran as planned with the correct arrival drinks put out as per the brides request, unfortunately other guests helped themselves to the non alcoholic drinks. That being said we then also put more out at a cost to ourselves. The chairs being moved from the ceremony room to the reception room is common practice throughout hotels worldwide. This is primarily done for cost to the couple as it saves them from paying for extras. In regards to the staff moving them that was myself and I appreciate your concern as it was a hot day but the show must go on. Onto the Wedding breakfast, yes wine was pre-paid for guests on the tables, again a choice of the bride and grooms and an extra expense they chose for you to no appreciate and now complain about. The bar was available for you to purchase any additional drinks if the wine wasn't suitable as you have mentioned. However as you mention they did put the provision in for the toast drinks so that everyone was able to select a more suitable option for themselves. A lovely touch. I really hope that the couple that paid for your day do not read your review and effectively the comments you have made in regards to their choices on their special day. Kind Regards, James Leeds, General Manager

Negative experience: Only visited to attend Amy's fitness classes a couple of times a week but I hear she has moved onwards and upwards. I did consider a membership but the pools not very big and the place looks like its straight out of the 80s. Not for me thanks. I don't think it will survive another recession.

Barbara McDougal 3 years ago

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusted in the way they have treated Amy who does the fitness classes, email this evening to say its her last session no consideration to Amy or her clients. I have been going for quite some time now and she is an excellent coach, classes are friendly and your made to feel very welcome. I was going to get a membership but the way this management have treated her I'm not bothering if they treat people like that.

angela henderson 3 years ago

Negative experience: What an awful place this is! I attend only for fitness classes with an amazing young woman called Amy Graham. With very short notice some idiot has terminated her classes as a contracted fitness instructor with no regard for her, or her clients. Amy is a qualified PT instructor and has a wealth of experience, she does amazing fun and safe classes. Not only have they destroyed her livelihood, but they've also decimated the fitness journey of many people who, for some, have had to overcome mental and physical obstacles, prior to starting on their fitness journey. Whoever made this decision ought to hang their head in shame. I will make sure NEVER to recommend this place to anyone.
