Fix a Gym Ltd

Negative experience: We have been waiting for a treadmill service for nearly four months now. They requested videos, photos and details of the fault which we sent many weeks ago. We gave been trying to contact them numerous times since. They do not answer phone calls or emails. AVOID THIS COMPANY!! Once they have your money the aftercare is abysmal.

Fantastic experience: I have dealt with Fix A Gym on a number of occasions over the last 5 years or so and every time I have found them to be professional, eager to help and competitive in their pricing. The equipment I purchased was good in terms of the quality and I have had no problems. Being based in Dublin I have found some of the sports equipment outlets locally to be unhelpful and somewhat territorial. For this reason I have found it very easy to go back to Fix a Gym any time I needed a piece of equipment or some servicing done, knowing I'd be treated in a friendly and efficient manner. Recommended.

Negative experience: Very poor booked a service call for treadmill and it has turned out a sensor needed cleaned

Fantastic experience: Customer service was first class. Had an issue with a product through no fault of theirs. They sent out a complete replacement with no quibbles. Lovely, helpful company with good traditional values.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the service and quality of the equipment I have recieved from Fix a Gym. My new crosstrainer is amazing, arrived promptly in excellent condition, was easy to assemble, and works like a dream. For some reason after a good while the machine developed this noise and when I contacted Customer Service they just sent me a new one, no questions asked. Now I have a beautiful new machine at home, so important for my health and well-being. Highly recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: I emailed them about my rowing machine issue and with the hour I had a call from Brett who was really helpful and told me what do do to solve the problem. When I asked what I owed he said that his advice was part of the service and no charge. Great service and top man our Brett

Fantastic experience: I have got various pieces of equipment through the years from this firm. Always prompt and their aftercare has been nothing but 1st class. Recently they have just installed a new rubber floor for me. They are very simple to work with and so far the product seems very good quality.

Fantastic experience: I called Fix a gym regarding a faulty treadmill, which I didnt purchase from them. They explained a callout charge would apply , well it's a business so I expected something. The guys called out next day explained to me what was required for repair. Costs broke down and all was agreed. Next day they were back and hey ho I've a treadmill running like new. I was so impressed by the service I got a quote for flooring for my workout area and within 2 weeks they were back with a service and a smile. Cant recommend this firm enough. 1st class service and I know where I'll be going in future.

Fantastic experience: Richard has been helping me out for the past 5 years. He is extremely reliable and always does a great job of managing my gym equipment. Richard always goes out of his way to help me and I know I can contact him anytime. I have never had any issues and he always got the parts and equipment i need as quickly as possible.

Negative experience: Phoned fix a Gym about a problem with a treadmill kept stopping when running on it. Was told had to pay £111 up front for call out which i did and arranged date and time. Engineer arrived checked treadmill and advised that it needed new motor. New motor was got from Reebox and i fitted it myself, same problem kept stopping. emailed Fix a Gym that it wasn't the motor as it was still stopping, reply was from Fix a Gym its a MCB. On the engineers report it states needs new motor no mention of MCB, so how do they know it's a MCB without testing. Fix a Gym haven't got back to me. Very poor service, wouldn't recommend.

Fantastic experience: Just had a floor matting put down by Brett and Chris in my rehab area have to say two nicer lads you could meet. did an absolutely amazing job with no fuss to the highest standard. Arrived when they said they would got on with the job first class professional job. Would recommend to anyone thinking of getting gym matting in their facility. Thanks again Fix a Gym Ltd
