Our comment from FitFit UK about Gymbox Old Street:
Gymbox Old Street, located in London, UK, offers a vibrant gym experience with a focus on community and service. The facility is equipped with a wide range of high-quality equipment and is praised for its cleanliness and friendly staff. Many users have highlighted the welcoming atmosphere created by team members like Giulia and Yasmin, who go above and beyond to ensure every visit is enjoyable. Frequent visitors love the sauna and appreciate the fresh towels provided, making post-workout relaxation a breeze.
However, some reviews point out that the gym can get crowded, especially during peak hours, leading to difficulties in accessing equipment. While some members feel that the prices are on the higher side compared to other gyms, they often conclude that the quality of the services and the community vibe make it a worthwhile investment. The classes offered are generally well-received, though booking them can sometimes be competitive.
Overall, Gymbox Old Street is a solid choice for those seeking a modern gym environment, well-maintained facilities, and a friendly community atmosphere, despite some room for improvement in capacity management.

Gymbox Old Street: Opinions
Negative experience: Sales team are really rude and pushy.
Fantastic experience: Convenient gym good equipment and hygiene staff are wonderful big shout out to Giulia who always is so welcoming and a strong icon
Fantastic experience: I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the service at Gymbox, especially thanks to Giulia. Her friendly and energetic approach makes every visit a pleasure. She’s always ready to assist and truly enhances the overall experience. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Gymbox Old Street for a while now, and overall, it’s been a great experience. The sauna is a huge bonus, especially after a tough workout, and I love that they provide fresh towels. The staff here are super friendly and always ready to help; Yasmin, in particular, goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. The equipment is well-maintained, which makes workouts enjoyable. It’s slightly on the expensive side in contrast to other gyms, but considering the facilities and the vibe, I think it’s worth it if you’re looking for a premium gym experience.
Fantastic experience: Visiting Gymbox in old street is very convenient for me with the location and also the high quality facilities/equipment. The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful with my tasks. Yasmin often helps me when I have a request or trouble with my app
Fantastic experience: Love this branch, the classes are excellent. Women’s changing rooms and sauna are a great size. Tom on front desk is always lovely and smiling!
Fantastic experience: Great staff, great vibe and great gym!! I’ve been going to Gymbox Old Street since its opening about 10 years ago. It’s my favourite Gymbox as it has a great vibe and a personal feel to it. A big shout out to all the staff, especially to lovely Giulia who always puts a smile on my face and motivates me :) :) Thank you Giulia, I love coming here!!!
Positive experience: Small gym - can get overcrowded.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member at Gymbox Old Street for about 3 months now and it’s fair to say I am absolutely loving it. Happy spending 2-3 hours there after work or on the weekend as the music and vibes are too good. The staff are incredible. They really do build a sense of community. Yasmin, Anin and Jasmine in particular are constantly in a welcoming and happy mood…it absolutely makes a difference. Throughout my time as a gym goer, this is by far my favourite gym I’ve been a member of…won’t be leaving any time soon.
Fantastic experience: Lydia & Giujia, thanks to the pretty ladies for hassle free sign up & Igor for lovely personal training !
Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. The facility itself is fine, but the classes have zero programming which means if you want to make any progress in your overall fitness, you are wasting your time here. The biggest problem has been the lack of professionalism among the Gymbox staff. I had an issue with my membership, and was corresponding with a specific staff member. He did not respond to my message, and I followed up twice. Various staff members from the Old Street branch, Membership Services, and head office then began harassing me - sending multiple emails a day, calls, texts - without actually responding to any of my attempts at communication. Finally, someone at the "head office" told me that the original staff member I spoke to had left, so no one followed up on my case. There was no mention of his leaving when I contacted him - apparently, Gymbox has yet to learn of automatic responses to emails! It seems strange, since they are, as a company, excellent at emailing their members constantly. Finally, I gave up trying to have any type of dialogue, paid my last bill, and asked that they confirm that I will no longer be charged anything by them ever again. Who knows if I will ever hear back. Save yourself time, frustration, and the experience of being bullied - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Negative experience: Went during the lunch rush and not impressed by how they manage it here- it feels like a zoo. I have been going to commercial gyms for the best part of a decade, enough to not just be some random Karen off the street. But isn’t that exactly what a Karen would say? Well, read on and judge for yourself. Some specific points that do not align with standards of what a gym should deliver: 1) PT’s hogging equipment for ridiculous supersets (is there a need to do deadlifts AND squats in a superset??) and not respecting others’ space. A particularly egregious example is walking behind a live squat (ie between it and the rack.) 2) Weight plates not put away by anyone so it was not clear what equipment was free. Some gyms have a penalty for this. Different strokes for different folks ofc but it should be discouraged a LOT more as the present signs are not working. 3) To cap it off, a member of staff casually PAINTING A PILLAR in the middle of a very crowded area, in a way that blocked access to 2 squat racks when all the others were full. Not her fault but, and I cannot stress this enough, horrible scheduling. Customers do not come first here and the overall experience is not something you would expect from a gym which aims to be better than Anytime Fitness. There should be etiquette rules both for clients and PTs. The other Gymboxes are much better and management here needs to take notice. I will remove my review if I’m satisfied that the standard is coming closer to, say, Ealing or Farringdon outlets.
Negative experience: This is an awful gym for the price it costs. Lack of maintenance (dirty) and service. Machines are everywhere with very little space. (And because it’s basement, the neglected atmosphere hits even worse). Overall, avoid this gym.
Negative experience: Compared to other GYMBOX gyms, this location is considerably smaller, making it challenging to imagine how one could effectively workout during peak hours. The layout of the gym is peculiar. The main area with the gym equipment suffers from low ceilings and feels cramped, while the ceiling above the treadmill section, which was mostly empty, is higher. This design feels counterintuitive. The overall atmosphere and energy of the gym felt off-putting to the extent that I felt like leaving soon after arriving for my first visit. If the gym were to undergo a redesign, I might rate it higher. However, as it stands, the layout disrupts what could otherwise be a good workout space. The only redeeming quality was the staff, who were notably friendly during my visit.
Fantastic experience: I went to a class at Gymbox using ClassPass and it was amazing. The staff were so helpful and accommodating and the teacher (for dancehall) was honestly one of the best dance teachers I’ve ever had, going through steps carefully but making the class fun at the same time. Such a positive experience
Positive experience: Joined via E&C around a year ago, amazing gym 10/10. Old street... not worth the high cost, Pure Gym is better Towels are old and stinky, the changing rooms are full of mushrooms and mould. Never any soap in the dispensers yet the cleaners just sit in the changing room chatting and eating.... seems anytime of day regardless of the day so surely not a lunch break. The ladies sauna has a broken wood slat with a showing screw. Equipment is okay, but not enough cable machines, no space for hip Thrusts or Hyper Extensions... Sad, needs a revamp. Staff are lovely
Fantastic experience: I came from Third Space, and gymbox is much better value for money. Great classes with variety, good equipment, and facilities. Friendly staff and fellow gym goers. Lovely DJs. I read some of the reviews, and someone gave 1 star because they didn't like the towels, and the bags were rented out. That is literally the most pathetic review I've ever seen. Ignore what's currently rated 4 stars. It's 5 stars, and there are trolls with weak review skills or even competitors, perhaps trying to bring down a great gym. Go for a tour if it's within your budget. If it's not within your budget, go to puregym or buy some bands and kettlebells, and enjoy the fresh air.
Negative experience: I’ve been a member of this gym for over a year, paying £120 a month, and it’s honestly not worth it. I’ve made several complaints over the past year, but it feels like no one takes them seriously. Recently, I went to use the studio where they have punching bags, only to be told by some random person that they had hired the space. When I spoke to the manager, all I got was a apology. How is it fair to pay this much and not be able to use the facilities because they’ve been rented out to others? The logic behind this is beyond me. And that’s not the only issue. The towels they provide are old and in desperate need of replacement, among other things that could be improved. If you’re considering this gym, think twice. It’s overpriced for the lack of service and consideration they provide to their regular members. I do want to give credit where it’s due and thank Lydia,James and Gosia for trying to help me. Unfortunately, their efforts are overshadowed by the gym’s overall lack of service and consideration for regular members.
Fantastic experience: Location location location - best gym in the area! This club has everything you need, but cherry on top is the staff! Super helpful and friendly.
Fantastic experience: Cannot fault Gymbox old street great vibes great team. Always a welcoming face as soon as you enter, the team is always ready to help, the gym itself is a great space. Had a great experience so far and won’t be leaving anytime soon
Fantastic experience: Been a member since it opened and can really see that over the past few years it’s only getting better! Big credit to the General Manager James and the Old Street team!
Fantastic experience: I have been trying a few different gyms across London recently and this is my favourite so far and I have been using it regularly. The staff are always really friendly, helpful and easy to identify. The classes are great and the atmosphere in the gym area is spot on. I haven't been in the evening yet and have been told it can be a bit loud due to the music but I am yet to experience this so cannot comment. Overall a great experience, well quipped, good products in the changing rooms (could get slightly better hairdryers) and most importantly I feel welcome.
Positive experience: It's a good gym. Not as impressive as their flagship in Farringdon.
Fantastic experience: Great gym, great classes, great staff and clean facilities. What more could you ask for.
Fantastic experience: Attended Old Street for a spin class. Really enjoyed the class, club looked great and will definitely be back!
Fantastic experience: Since last November, Luca's training has been a game-changer! The gym provides good-quality equipment and a welcoming environment. Just be mindful of peak hour crowds. Despite this, Gym Box remains my top choice for reaching my fitness goals.
Negative experience: Completely overpriced for the poor facilities offered. You get much better elsewhere for £40 (Energie Fitness Old Street offers half price for the first 2 months so £20 a month). I was trapped in a contract with Gymbox, which was made extremely hard to get out of, even with extenuating circumstances.
Negative experience: Facilities wise, they're a good gym, don't get me wrong. But the customer service was horrid. Got mislead into a 3 month membership although I was there for only 1 month and as a student (where money is always tight) I felt scammed into it. Not going there again, not worth the money and the consequences of being mislead.
Negative experience: Literally no space. Even worse for free weights. Really bad experience.
Negative experience: Me and a girlfriend have joined together, and we were enjoying our membership until it has become impossible to find equipment or any space to train unless in the early afternoon hours. Plus there are several important ongoing issues in the changing rooms such as lights off in the vanity area, old/faulty straighteners, blocked toilets, mold in the showers, sewage(?) spilling through the sewage covers on the floor whose frames look encrusted with dirt and the only corridor to enter the changing rooms is constantly flooding. On a positive note we really loved the classes, especially Boxing with Nicholas but that's also been changed and no longer available, the booking system is btw not always working properly and is now too busy to get into classes anyway, so we decided to move on because the membership rates keep increasing and overall, it's definitely not worth the price they ask for what they offer ;(
Negative experience: Overcrowded unless you manage to go in the middle of your workday. The cardio machines are always empty while in the weight lifting area there’s never any space. Used to love it when I first joined years ago, now looking for a new gym in the area.
Fantastic experience: Cool gym. A little bit pricey for the day pass. But loved the vibe there
Fantastic experience: Shoutout to the gym's manager Ollie! A very informative, kind and passionate person who knows everything about his gym.
Fantastic experience: My favourite place every day ❤️
Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym! The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming. Great facilities and range of classes.
Negative experience: I don't even know where to start. The lack of space for free weight, machines and squat racks means that area is crowded all the time while most of the cardio machines are often unused. Gymbox should seriously redesign this gym to reflect what their customers come for: mainly weight training, not cardio. People constantly walk right behind you on your marked safety zone when using the racks which is very dangerous and disturbing but it's hard to blame them as there is no space to walk around without making a huge detour because it's always packed! Some PTs really take up so much space at peak times and don't put their equipments away, so disrespectful! As a result of all this, you get asked constantly how many sets you have left when using anything other than a cardio machine. In the summer, the air con never works properly and it's boiling in there. Stuff breaks regularly and doesn't get replaced for a while (cables, steps, showers hot water and sauna, air con, clocks, system...). I could go on and on but to summarise, Gymbox has managed to turn going to the gym into a very stressful experience where you have to fight to get/keep a space and have to constantly adapt and change your routine depending on what's available.
Negative experience: Do not bother coming unless off peak hours, you’ll be standing looking around for 20 minutes like a lemon waiting for /any/ machine or rack to be free. Sales reps sign up people to cash in on commission with complete disregard of how the gym feels like a tin of packed sardines
Negative experience: Overcrowded during peak hours, and closes super early on the weekends. DJ is terrible and staff are not exactly friendly. Will move to virgin, much better value for money
Fantastic experience: The absolute worst thing about the gym is in the morning with the smell of freshly baking croissants and pastries from M&S wafting down the stairwell. While you are pedaling away furiously on the assault bike - or Devil's Tricycle to give it it's more appropriate name - for 20 minutes only to glance down and realise you have burnt off the calorie equivalent of a wotsit, let alone enough to allow you a mouthful of buttery pastry goodness, you know you are most likely stuck in one of Dante's infernal circles.
Negative experience: great classes but shrouded payment structures.
Negative experience: Stay away from this one. Don’t trust these good comments. Probably made by their staff. I have been to many different gyms in London, this one is the worst from equipment to staff attitude. Despite warnings from friends, I decided to give it a try and was thoroughly disappointed. It’s the worst experience I’ve had in London.
Fantastic experience: Great gym, friendly staff
Positive experience: Loved loved loved it when first joined a couple months back but too crowded these days. I workout at peak times so jokes on me (!) but recently been worse than usual. Takes ages to do normal workouts and equipment more often than not scattered all over the gym floor. :/
Fantastic experience: The team at Old Street Gymbox are very welcoming and made me feel very welcome starting my fitness journey. I first met with Hayley and Reuben, they were very friendly and showed me around and how to use the equipment.
Positive experience: Nice gym. Was very crowded at 0730am and for the weights not enough stations - mostly one of a kind. Good and warm service + towels and locker. Did not try the showers.
Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my session with my PT Luca! Really professional and the gym was so well organised!
Fantastic experience: Great gym - staff seem really friendly, especially Ruben who showed me around, he was really helpful!
Positive experience: Great atmosphere and cool variety of classes, I haven’t been to the other Gymboxes so I’m not sure if it’s only the old street one, but the equipment is very old. Yes the plates are Eleiko, but they look and feel like they haven’t been replaced in decades. Some equipment like the kettlebells looks rusted, and I’d be scared that if I cut myself on something here I’d need a tetnus shot. I’ve moved over from PureGym in West London where all the plates were new and just a lot cleaner and I expected a gym that charges more expensive memberships would be more on it about replacing their plates and other equipment with newer ones. Also, the gym is small, which isn’t a problem but some of the equipment is too close to one another to where I question safety. For example one of the squat racks in very close to a bench press set, like toooo close. But overall, it’s a good gym and there’s great potential if they focus on investing a bit of money back into maintaining the equipment better
Positive experience: Great gym, but not as many equipment on this one.
Positive experience: Overall a nice looking gym with a wide selection of equipment. Some of the classes here (gassed) are over subscribed (not enough space for everyone to work out properly), and this can be frustrating. The spin classes are ok, and the sauna is an added bonus, although this has been out of order recently.
Fantastic experience: good sized gym, especially love the class options and the sauna
Fantastic experience: Love the place, love the atmosphere. Best gym I’ve been to especially in the area.
Fantastic experience: Great class and instructor. Quick 45 minute class but a great mixture of cardio and strength training. Excellent changing room facilities.
Fantastic experience: Great little gym with everything you need for a powerlifting or weightlifting workout. 3+ racks, plenty of bars and plates, and areas for deadlifting. Loads of dumbbells too. Plenty of treadmills, bikes, and other cardio machines as needed. A reasonable £20 drop in rate for a day pass.
Negative experience: I visited the gym this morning (29/6/2023) and I wanted to share my disappointing experience. This was my second time at the gym, as the first time I had gone on behalf of my injured friend. I booked my session through ClassPass, but upon arrival, I encountered an unnecessary and unpleasant encounter with one of the staff members. The lady at the front desk was skeptical and insisted that I provide identification to prove that I was the one who booked the gym. I explained that I had booked it with my own ClassPass account, but she claimed that ClassPass guidelines required ID verification. I checked the ClassPass website and found no mention of such a requirement. What made matters worse was her rude and condescending attitude throughout the interaction. Being treated as if I were a criminal or suspect left me feeling humiliated and discriminated against. Her colleague seemed confused by her behaviour and saw no issue with accepting my name as verification. I believe that customers should be treated with respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, this incident greatly tarnished my overall experience at this gym] and left me upset. It's important for the management to address the conduct of their staff and ensure that incidents like these do not occur in the future. I hope my feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate measures are taken to rectify this situation. No customer should have to go through such treatment.
Fantastic experience: I popped in twice while on a recent vacation, and this is such a great location! Steps away from the Old St station. Friendly staff and great selection of workout machines. On one of my visits I did the Bike & Beats class with Rachel, who was AMAZING. Super helpful while showing me how to use the bike as it was one I've never used before. Definitely recommend.
Positive experience: Gym box old street is a ok Gym Nice friendly staff, Good equipment lots of Dumbells, And squat racks, nice large sauna in the mens shower Area. .Good place to train. To be honest i am going back There Saturday to do legs and shoulders.
Fantastic experience: Lovely space really clean. The staff is super engaged
Negative experience: Not enough space or equipment, particularly for weightlifting. Cardio machines are mostly empty but I often have to wait 10-15 minutes to get a bench or squat rack. Very frustrating. Stretching area is tiny. Frequently see people come over to stretch, see how busy it is, and just leave. Lack of space and equipment makes it not a welcoming atmosphere for women (speaking for my girlfriend who I train with).
Fantastic experience: I recommend Gymbox Old Street! Great classes, friendly staff and the atmosphere is like nowhere else. My fav gym in London!
Thank you so much for the kind review Katarzyna :)
Fantastic experience: Best gym in London, highly recommended. Great people and atmosphere, well run classes
Thank you for the review, Maciej!
Fantastic experience: Whenever I visit London, I always choose this gym for my regular training. Nice and professional personnel stuff, good equipment, cosy space. I highly recommend this place!
Fantastic experience: This gym is in my top 3 in London! Maybe is not that big as other locations but is so well organised that it’s comfortable and easy to find what you looking for. Friendly and helpful staff! Definitely place to go!
Fantastic experience: Amazing gym and very good practice! I would definitely recommend this place.
Fantastic experience: Really good gym! Great atmosphere, super friendly staff and quality equipment.
Negative experience: WHAT IS GOING ON??!! Instructor failed to show up at my class today and not for the first time. Christmas absolutely decimated.
Negative experience: Went here for a class and the instructor never turned up. Really unimpressed and won’t be returning. Apparently this has happened about 4 times this month according to other members who were also waiting. Incompetent.
Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience at the gym, loved the team, especially Andrew from front desk who was super helpful and welcoming! Will definitely be back
Fantastic experience: I’m new to the gym so I was a little nervous however they were quickly washed away when I saw Drew at the front desk. His ease and people skills really gave me the comfort I needed to feel confident. That’s why I love going to gymbox, because of people like him that are there every day ( 6AM) encouraging me to be my best self.
Positive experience: Overall, a good experience at this gym. But there are some things they need to work on: 1) At peak times, particularly in the morning, it can be way too busy. And it’s not a big space. This is primarily because there’s always a class on, using the big room at the back. It’d be good if they reduced the number of classes or moved their times, because the few who do classes are impacting those who don’t. Sometimes the class users even come out to try and jump in rowers, bike, etc (Thu class) and look mad when there’s non available. Classes ruin this gym - move times! 2) Showers remain terrible. Horribly dated shower heads which spray weak water in lots of different directions. This is the same across all Gymbox branches. If you’re expecting a premium shower experience (which is what you pay for), you’ll be disappointed. 3) Some equipment could do with refurbishment or replacement. Annoyingly this branch doesn’t have the good Technogym treadmills so you can’t do anything like parachute or sled pushing which that treadmill offers. Please consider adding one or two of these!! (Found in E&C, Covent Garden, etc)
Negative experience: Worst experience ever 1) please be aware that classes are overbooked and you will not have chance to visit any of them 2) they didn’t warn me of it before the purchase and after customer support keep saying it is impossible to friz/cancel my membership even that I never used it 3) when I finally had chance to book a class that I really wanted to a week prior - they added me 1 hour before the class to the list and I basically missed this (because I am human and I have other plans in my life). So because of this miss they rid me out of the next class. Absolutely disappointed from the first day and having awful experience all this days without a chance to use the the gym I don’t know guys why are you doing this to customers
Fantastic experience: Nice gym. Number of equipment is limited but enough
Fantastic experience: Great club!! Joe made my experience super smooth
Fantastic experience: Great gym, great classes and most of all great friendly staff always, no matter what time of the morning it is ;)
Fantastic experience: Really cool gym, with great change room facilities and classes. Most importantly the staff at the desk, Craig and Drew, were very welcoming and encouraging.
Fantastic experience: This gym has a high energy club-like atmosphere, great equipment and dedicated staff. Classes are also of great quality and worth every pence. This branch is smaller than Holborn and Bank, but still very much at the same level. I like working out in the evenings as it's when they have a DJ performing live. What you should be careful with: read your contract and know what your options are if you need or ever want to cancel your membership, as you may have to give them a month's notice. Also know that it's not super easy to sign up for classes, and you will have to figure out when classes become available for booking so you can be the first to sign up. Wish you all the best in your fitness journey!
Negative experience: Locked me into a 3 month contract which was fine as I was only in London for 3 more months so it worked out well. This was until after the 3 months they kept trying to bill my card, so after I cancelled my direct debit I received numerous emails over the months that I owed them money. Apparently you have to give a 30 days cancellation notice (aka if you want to only do 3 months you have to let them know you want to cancel 2 months in). Ended up being passed onto a third party debt collection agency and was threatened to go to court over £104. Ridiculous business plan as the gym was actually quite good. Not helpful when you’re a student and don’t have much money as it is. Greedy
Negative experience: AVOID at all costs. In a nutshell: purchased the 1 month option just yesterday, the moment I sign in I realise all classes are completely booked for the entire week. Literally all of them. Basically every day at 10am they will release the booking for the same day of the next week, which means that if you don’t book at 10am exactly you will very likely miss the chance to book. I guess if you work, like we all do, it’s fairly impossible to book a class at 10am every day. With that being said, I got in touch with the support team the same day of the purchase asking for either a partial or full refund as classes were the only reason for me to join. I told them that I would never use the gym, as everything is fully booked, and explained that would it would have been impossible to know this prior to the purchase (as you are not able to see the classes capacity). Now, obviously there are policies to respect etc, but, any reasonable customer service/company would try to meet the customer halfway at least. I got in touch with the customer service: they said I can’t get ANY of the money back and that I will be charged again in November as well, for a service that I cannot basically use. When I replied they DISAPPEARED and never got back to me again. This is just ridiculous, one of the WOST customer service EVER.
Fantastic experience: Amazing variety of classes, amazing staff, and really professional trainers who get to know you personally and go on your fitness journey with you. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: I’ve been training for many years and have visited several gyms and in my experience Elliott at Gymbox Old street had the best customer service. Much appreciated.
That's great to hear Dee! Thank you so much for the review :)
Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed training at Gymbox old street. Thank you to the manager Danielle for showing me around and making me feel so welcome. Staff were all welcoming and friendly and the gym was spotless. Great equipment and such a good vibe, I’ll definitely be back!
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Not a very big gym, but well utilised. Good equipment. Nice changing rooms with sauna
Thank you for your review, Sergi!
Fantastic experience: Great Gym. I found Jessica Buttigieg very helpful. She is very patient to explain things and has a beautiful smile.
Fantastic experience: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially Isla who makes you feel comfortable and assist you when needed. The classes are very enjoyable. Will recommend the gym to friends&Family.
Fantastic experience: Great facility and good vibe. Programmes to suit all fitness levels. Welcoming feel straight away. Happy friendly helpful staff especially Jessica.
Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff and excellent facilities. Studio Manager Jessica Buttigieg is awesome.
Fantastic experience: I love this gym. After looking for a gym that will make me feel comfortable to go more than once every month, I found this Studio. Thanks for everything, and thanks to Jess for being a great Studio Manager.
Fantastic experience: I've had a great experience at this gym with great facilities and staff - thank you very much for your help isla.
Fantastic experience: I promised myself I would join a gym this year. So I've been on the look out and GymBox won. Their classes are so unique - just the variety had me. But what sold me in the end is the great customer service I received from Isla at GymBox Old Street. She was very helpful.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful space and classes, equipment has been updated and the staff are some of the most pleasant and friendliest ever!
Fantastic experience: Absolutely Love it here, great equipment, great service and just an all round good vibe! Definitely recommend. I thoroughly enjoy working out here!
Fantastic experience: Left a review before on a previous account and forgotten the password, but also forgot to mention on my previous review that despite this branch being a smaller branch, i do love how efficient they are with their space on top of that all the instructors i have come across have been super friednly and approachable also love how results based this brand is too!
Fantastic experience: Have been doing Personal Training at GymBox Old Street for last 9 months, very happy with the experience. Very competitive and well equipped gym.
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. Great equipment, great vibe if you’re serious about training. No faff. Functional workout space whatever you’re your health goals. Look out for Adam N if you’re after an excellent PT with tons of experience and result under his belt! Happy training all! ZAKIRR
Fantastic experience: Great gym, great people. Low level of idiots. Good equipment, good atmosphere. Top gym.
Fantastic experience: My favourite gym for sure. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Equipment is always clean and there loads of classes available. 100% would recommend
Fantastic experience: Great space to work out in central, staff are lovely too. Good experience gym
Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Great classes and really friendly team. Jaz was really helpful and made me feel so welcome!
Hi Sophie, thank you for your kind review - we will be sure to let Jaz know how welcome she made you feel!
Fantastic experience: Jaz is great, she really made me feel at home on my first visit to the gym in a very long time. Highly recommend this gym, she is a great receptionist.
Thank you for your review, Abbie! We will be sure to pas this on to Jaz!
Fantastic experience: The classes are excellent with wonderful instructors, allows me to explore lots of different skills and types of training! The gym itself could be a little bigger and more comprehensive but it serves its purpose well. It's not cheap but it's fantastic value for money if you utilise it's classes, the classes individually would be significantly more expensive per month. The staff and community are incredibly friends and polite and are free to chat and assist consistently!
Hey Jade! Thank you for your honest review. We're so glad you're a huge fan of our classes - we are too We will be sure to pass on your lovely comments to the Old Street team!
