Fantastic experience: Always helpful staff here.

Negative experience: Bag thieves operate in this leisure centre... My mate had his bag, wallet and keys stolen on Saturday.

Negative experience: Management will speak to you like you are a moron, they have restrictions in place that are not published online. If you are going there to swim I suggest you call ahead and check what they are allowing that day. Personally you couldn’t pay me enough to step inside the place again.

Negative experience: Closes earlier than Armley. (Armley is meant to be the bad place not Pudsey) Its too warm, very bad AC. Not enough treadmills. Changing rooms could do with a facelift also.

Positive experience: It's OK, got everything you need for a leisure center

Fantastic experience: I visited today with my autistic grand daughter. She had been to the pool before but I hadn’t. The staff were amazing. Kind, helpful and made our swimming session special. Thank you.

Negative experience: Before joining I wish I tried it out at different times of day. It is a relatively small gym anyway, but then at after school times, it is frustrating trying to get core and strength work done. As I work long hours, I have to bite the bullet and put up with it. If I'd gone for the rolling membership, I'd be either at puregym or JD by now. I am not happy with my membership and stuck.

Positive experience: The place is very nice and the gym is useful. Only change is that the changing rooms are dated and need refurbishments.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous swim today "public lane 1 " . Suffering from COPD it's lovely to stop and start as you please . Friendly and very clean have just joined the swim and gym for the money it's a no brainer.

Negative experience: Great staff. Newly refurbished and kitted out.... so why is it so many machines... cardio included are failing... out of order... broken??? This refurbished is not 5 month old....I'd be wanting my money back on yhese substandard machines.

Negative experience: It was abouslty rubbish, they didn’t let me go deep end and they were very controlling, also if you are small than you have no choice but to stay at the shallow end , DONT RECOMNED

Fantastic experience: Staff are helpful, the buildings interior had undergone rebuild of reception and new paint / styling. Reception is now a desk, which works OK, but surely the height should match the standing customers? PS, why include squash in Membership, but charge £13 an hour for badminton - seems badmintonist. Otherwise pleasant and accessible services. Update autumn 2022: no change, all good. The prices just rose for all services, but all below inflation. Update summer 2024, all good, staff seem more motivated and happy.

Fantastic experience: All the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, smaller than some gyms, but had all you need, including a pool.

Fantastic experience: Busy carpark - Ev rapid is located at exit of carpark. Run by engie has CCS CHADEMO AND TYPE 2 which you’ll need your OWN cable. Currently on free vend for 4 months . You’ll need to either ring them from the device or have a swipe card and or rfid fob. Carpark is free - but busy as it’s on free vend.

Fantastic experience: Booking system works great on the app. The sanitising stations are a fab addition so we can clean down each machine after use to prevent any spreading of the dreaded disease. Staff are friendly and helpful, as always.

Positive experience: Decent equipmen, well maintained. However, I was 1 of only 3 out if 20 users who brought a towel to wipe equipment after use! Not happy exercusing in someone elses sweat!

Negative experience: Good choice of classes but the environment is appalling, sticky dirty old carpets, damaged doors and flooring. The staff have limited knowledge about how to use their own website and apps. Trying to book activities and classes is a long drawn out process.

Fantastic experience: First of all great staff. When I joined the gym Tony in particular was very welcoming and helpful. He took his time going through my induction, very warm and welcoming guy. The gym is ok, a shame it's not a touch bigger though, more machines would be nice. It is also difficult to park, but that's possibly due to the time that I go. Overall though, really pleased that I have joined.

Positive experience: Decent gym and pool but the male swimside changing room is disturbing, an upgrade is required

Positive experience: Decent enough gym, staff are friendly and helpful and my son really enjoys his swimming lessons but the changing rooms to the pool are pretty grim, take some flip flops you won't want to walk barefoot in there. Plenty of parking out the back which is great!

Positive experience: Our local pool, it’s dated like most of them - but very well looked after. The staff are friendly and there’s lots of parking. The gym is well equipped with the basics which is more than adequate for most people’s training. I’ve tried a couple of the classes too - spin and Pilates, which are really good for when you want something a bit different. The only down side for me is the gym not opening early enough to train before work. It’s a nice, family friendly venue that’s clean and accessible.

Positive experience: I have not been here for around a year and decided to come today with some friends . It looked to be clean and decent . There was no visible hygiene issues in sight and everything in that way was fine . There was plenty of floats and lots to do . The people at the reception was grnreally very polit and service was good . However there was new people and I xan understand how they did not permit some of us to go in the deep end but some of them was just being redicilous .One of my friends could have drowned so I could understand why he was not allowed in but the other was a goid swimmer and could clearly swim and they was just being straight-up flat-out horrible .We will probably not come back again at least not when there was people like that .Also I had a sibling who wwnt with her friend who was also BOTH refused acsess to the deep end despite being able to swim and my sibling having leatmed how to swim for YEARS THERE . The woman was very disrespectful who was there she said "that is the wrong way to swim" once she told her everything the woman said "Well whoever teached you here was bad at it" . Regret coming here - Think carefully before you come .

Fantastic experience: Offered free 7 day pass to try out some of the classes went swimming & joined in with yoga/Pilates/legs bums & tums & Zumba all excellent, spoilt for choice & good day times, difficult to find elsewhere, friendly & welcoming. Staff excellent.

Negative experience: DISCUSTING SERVICE Will never go here again, I have 45 minutes alone time with my son at 15:00 a week, we decided to go swimming but when ringing general swim wasent until 19:00, so we decided to play badminton, by the time they had messed around at the till trying to find a price to charge me she charged me £10 for 30 minutes badminton then tried to charge me an extra £6.80 for rackets and deposit so that's £16.80 for 30 minutes badminton, she let me pay just £10 as I was only doing 30 mins but then when we finally got to the court the first 6 hits the end came off the cock, I went to reception and changed it for a new one by this time I had 15 mins to spend with my very disappointed son, when I finally got to the court the same happened every hit the end came off, we decided to just give it up so when going to reception to give the bats in she said (OH HAVE YOU FINISHED ALLREADY) I advised her again the end kept coming off and it pointless trying to play, she said "OH SORRY" offered no refund or anything, Awful experience

Yes the pool area and changing rooms need an overhaul but that aside I always leave the leisure centre very happy. I would recommend those who don't use it to give it a go. Great range of classes too. Worth every penny. Thanks to all. Xx

Fantastic experience: Great pool, gym and staff. I am always very pleased with the facilities and the helpfulness of the staff. Always very polite and happy to answer any questions I have. I use Pudsey leisure centre more than 3 times a week and have never had a bad experience. Keep up the fantastic work!

Negative experience: Disgusting! I haven't been to Pudsey baths in years but took my grandson yesterday and what a dirty place it is. The carpet going from reception to pool changing area looked and and smelt like it came from a pub tap room. The changing room smelt of dirty nappies, the floor was that dirty I kept my shoes on until I got pool side and the shower drains were full of hair. Why would you put the hair dryers right next to the loos? I have given Pudsey leisure centre 1 star and that's only because the he water was warm. I had a quick look in the gym and you can see where they spend their budget. Wouldn't go again and I'm just waiting to see what diseases I have might have got.
