Fantastic experience: Very friendly and accommodating staff,nice warm clean pool, highly recommend,they gave me a concession as there was only 45 mins left, couldn't ask for friendier kinder staff especially the girl at reception with tatoo on her leg , hope to return soon.

Fantastic experience: Spent 4 days climbing and then fell upon this place, OMG our body’s felt like heaven, the Sauna/Steam Room/jacuzzi & pool were just lovely…. Exactly what your body would order after a lot of walking and climbing definitely recommend to everyone

Positive experience: During my stay in Bangor, I walked in for 4 swims. Pool is clean. Water temp is satisfactory. Staff are friendly as well. But half of the pool was always occupied by other training. Though, it is a nice place for recreation.

Positive experience: Pools decent, but not great opening times for people who have jobs, never open past 8pm for public swims, and most days it's only a couple of lanes before that anyway

Fantastic experience: Good full size pool. The shallow end for kids is a metre deep so make sure you've go a floaty on your babies as small children will need them unless they can swim. Lessons and small gym available ☺️

Negative experience: Paid full price for1/3 of children's pool. No room for any kind of swimming. Showers not working. Bit of a rip-off

Positive experience: Good large pool but female changing facilities are dreadful: too small and dark, toilets often closed and leaking, but the worst thing is the lack of any privacy of the female communal showers from the general pool and public view. I don’t know how you get away with this.

Fantastic experience: Really friendly staff and very clean building. Lifeguards are ace! Great place for everyone, including students. Kind enough to let us train for our weird sports (e.g. octopush) and not laugh!

Positive experience: The pool looks a bit derelict from the outside and needs an update, but even with that said the staff were friendly as helpful and the pool was as you’d expect for something that needs a tidy up. The main pool is warm enough and it’s great to swim in such a deep pool. A bit of tlc, would definitely take this facility to the next level.

Positive experience: Great place for swimming however the children's pool is better suited to older children as its around a 1m20cm deep. Also has diving boards and gym facilities

Fantastic experience: The gyms got everything you might need. I've also been taking advantage of the swimming lessons which are part of the membership. Great service too, really pleased .

Positive experience: Communication isn't great. The one way system is good for the swimming pool but doesn't really work if you need the toilet in the way out when yiu are getting changed as means you have to go the wrong way to the entry side of the pool

Negative experience: Awful. Just...don't even have the words. All I wanted was to pay my brothers monthly Direct Debit from a distance (300 miles away) it was easier to apply for my mortgage. They are still using carbon triplicate and carrier pigeons. All I wanted was for them to Email me a Direct Debit Mandate, so I could sign and return. You'd think I'd asked them a formula for cold fusion. Everywhere else it is 2021. This place is firmly routed in 1976. Common sense here is like PPE at the start of the pandemic, rare and in short supply.

Fantastic experience: Me and the kid love coming here at school holidays. The diving boards r open a cupola times in the day and the bring their inflatable course out. Need to phone 1 just in case

Negative experience: This was my first visit here to over sixties swim, didn't think it would only be a quarter of the pool.I was dissapointed to see most of it fast lane swimming.I was told to swim anti clockwise by another swimmer and as a nervous swimmer this was stressful.Also I found only one hairdryer working out of three. The whole place seemed tired and outdated so it's not for me.Back to llandudno for me I'm afraid.

Positive experience: My eldest son swims here on a weekly basis. Facilities are good and have recently been renovated. As this is a competition pool you will find the water colder than in most leisure centres or pools but this has never been an issue for us.

Negative experience: This place needs a good scrub, dirty floors and changing rooms and public showers. Needs an upgrade in the changing rooms. The pool was so cold that after 20 mins my daughter started going blue. The showers where too hot that it almost scolded me esp after being in such a cold pool.

Fantastic experience: Worst gym you could join in every aspect from gym facilities to the staff. There is hardly anyone at the reception and you have to wait for literally 10-15 minutes to get your card scan and get the code for gym.

Negative experience: Timetable doesn't accurately reflect the times when the whole pool is publicly available. E.g. "Time A - Time B, Public Swimming", then you go and there's only two very cramped lanes available. Not easy for people who are busy during the day and like space to swim, as this usually happens in the evenings. Also, the pool appears clean at first glance or to a swimmer at the surface, but the bottom of the deep end is disgusting. Sediment settled along most of the floor, bits floating in the water, definitely not regularly cleaned. Recently went with a large group of friends and within the next 24 hours, all of us had developed fevers and sickness to varying extent, with the same symptoms. Other friends who did not swim but interact with the group regularly did not get sick.

Positive experience: The smell got me a bit. Heavy disinfectant rather than chlorine. But it's a nice pool with diving boards, enough space and the staff seemed amicable.

Negative experience: Visited today after calling to check times 5.30-6.30 Was sadly interrupted and insulted by a very rude personal instructor who addressed children playing in the small pool...threatening them regarding their playing with water balls... upon speaking to manager he stated we were lucky to be in the small pool as it shouldn't be open ... I told him perhaps his staff should of informed myself and other this when I rang.. upon looking on the website This evening the small pool was open to the public ... sadly we were also only able to use half as they were also holding lessons in it... In website it also stated 2 lanes in large pool however the whole large pool had lanes ... in really disappointed in the behaviors of the private instructor and the way the situation was handled... public swimming should be public swimming and children should b able to enjoy their swimming rather than so called instructors behaving badly!

Negative experience: I havent actually been there yet but is there cubicles in the girls changing rooms?? I hate it when its just one big room with loads of randomers changing

Positive experience: Could do with having a cafe, kiosk. It's a shame when you were a kid you would go swimming with your friends and afterwards go get your chip bap x
