Negative experience: Vida had an electrical issue with their pitches but instead of informing us in advance they waited till we get there, so 10 people have wasted their time and fuel coming to the pitch to find out the game was cancelled due to an electrical issue. They the. Told us we can have another pitch we started playing on it only to be stopped 5 mins later and be told that someone else has hooked that pitch. The organisation at this place is a joke, they don’t even have a direct number? No apology was offered and no compensation was offered! If it was the other way around and I needed to cancel their pitch we would have got 0 refund but when they need to cancel on us they give us 0 notice and 0 compensation What a joke! If I was organising the games I would never book here again! The pitches are in bad condition and the nets are all ripped as well personally I think you’ll get. Better game playing on the bloody road that. Booking one of these pitches.

Fantastic experience: Good outdoor football pitches for both 5 and 7 a~aside

Positive experience: My son get a teacher call Adam which is very very nice but the basketball court was way too HOT so please get improvement.

Negative experience: The nets around the pitches are so so poor and ineffective they might as well not exist. Having to stop so many times to retrieve the ball and depending on what pitch you're on can be at least 5mins waiting to get the ball each time. So you never get a 1 hour game. We've been telling staff for years but they aren't bothered at all.

Negative experience: Netting is ripped everywhere- ball goes out of play constantly meaning you lose around 10 minutes of play time every game. Complained to management multiple times over the years. No action. Not even bothered. Utter contempt for users. Unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Visited the sports club for general enquiries. Had to wait a bit as the manager was busy with some building supervision, but she was very helpful in delivering the information. They have all the information available on the website and you can either go to Better or Whalley range website to get more details. They even offer discounts and vouchers which can be availed while selecting a program. They offer multiple classes that one can choose as per their comfort and choice.

Fantastic experience: Attended the MABL basketball playoff weekend in May, great location for basketball, very helpful staff helped to make it a great event.

Negative experience: Great if you enjoy spending half your game retrieving balls that have disappeared through the completely ineffectual netting that surrounds the pitches. Worst place I have played for not maintaining the nets/fences.

Negative experience: Fix your netting! Absurd, the ball goes through the netting to a neighboring pitch more often than it is kept in play (you then either have to risk climbing over yourself or run and get reception who are always grumpy at having to come and unlock a pitch despite the problem being entirely theirs). Bit of a joke for the price, we lose 10-15 minutes a session trying to get an escape ball.

Positive experience: Pitches upgraded over last few years, netting around them could do with a few zip ties but overall a good place for sport.

Negative experience: The place has been falling apart for years. The pitches are cut up and are a serious trip hazard and the netting around the pitches is sub standard. The new owners will need to invest in pitch replacement, nettings and boards to make right again!

Negative experience: Pitches in dire need to investment... 4G torn and coming away in many places, boards around pitch falling in and rips in netting around pitch means ball is forever being lost.

Negative experience: There are holes in the nets surrounding the 5 a side pitches. My friend got an injury due the holes when the ball went through one and the staff just threw the first aid kit on the pitch. Outrageous.

Negative experience: Party for my son was disappointing. The coach was lovely - thanks to Tyler, but the promised pair of football boots as part of the package didn't arrive - given a medal instead as they hadn't got them in. Obviously my son was very upset as it was his birthday present. The staff rang me twice the week before to ask his size. I booked the party months in advance so there is no excuse. That was on 25th November. I was promised mid week latest my son would get his present - still waiting on 6th December and not one phone call about it either. Disgraceful. The only apology I received was from the poor coach who did a fantastic job. Shame none of the other staff were as concerned.

Fantastic experience: Had my son's birthday party here and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the kids loved Tyler (their coach) and had "the best party ever". Would highly recommend, it's excellent value for money which I have never been able to say about a kids birthday party before!!

Positive experience: If you're used to budget gyms like The Gym Group or Pure Gym you might be a bit disappointed with the value here when weighing up price vs facilities. I've only been to the classes and haven't used the gym. The gym itself looks fine, just small compared to my previous gym. The class timetable is pretty good, with classes between 6-8.30pm most weekdays and a few morning classes on the weekend. Most classes are free if you're a member and £5 otherwise. My membership is £66 for unlimited classes for 3 months which can work out at pretty good value if I go more than once a week. The class studio is nothing fancy at all, think school gym, but all the instructors I've encountered have been really good. The staff are also all very friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: Pitches need of repairs as uneven surfaces with long thin divots causing twisted ankles and injuries. Flood lights not all working either. Not exactly good value for money and its not really safe for kids to play on certain pitches. All powerleague sites seem to be the same though.

Fantastic experience: Much like the Ardwick Powerleague in town, the Whalley Range high school version can't be faulted. While this one is a bit smaller in comparison, it's also less busy and importantly, the pitches are brand spanking new. The ref's do their jobs and the staff are helpful. There's a bar serving beer which also that has wide screen TV's mounted to the walls showing football. So what else do you need from a 5 a side venue? I'll tell you what, nothing at all.
