Negative experience: Arrived at pool, parked. I think £10 for swim sauna is expensive. Pool was very shallow and cold. Steam room wasn't hot, sauna you cant put water on rocks to heat up. Now been hit for a parking ticket. So cost of sauna is £10 for day pass plus cost of car park. Parking meter is past the car park. Not enough visible signs. Beware. Also dont get why need as many details as possible just to swim.

Fantastic experience: I have always liked swimming and have used the Galleon in Kilmarnock for the last forty plus years on and off. Having moved to the area I only just found out this place existed. Went for the first time to try this morning and I was so impressed. The staff were lovely, the pool and facilities were so clean. Its a great size and was virtually empty apart from a few regulars. It is also cheaper than the Galleon. I will definately be back regularly.

Positive experience: The staff here are always courteous and helpful. The amenities do have room for a bit of refurbishment. The biggest problem is that the water temperature is not kept at a stable equilibrium including the showers. However it provides a very necessary amenity to people of all ages and would be a drastic loss to the surrounding community.

Negative experience: Pool very cold

Fantastic experience: Really nice clean place. Good facilities and really nice staff.

Negative experience: Pool is never open, when it is it's freezing. You don't get refunds for them shutting the pool just 'give back' lessons that are never at good times for kids. Staff rude and not a nice atmosphere at all. Would definitely avoid at any cost.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff

Negative experience: Good thing to have in the area but not beneficial as closed most of the weekend which isn’t good for children and wanting to use the service after working during the week. Also not quick for responses, daughter had swimming lessons which she did enjoy but had multiple instructor changes and cancelled/rearranged lessons in the 9 months she had them and now after they were unable to provide private 1:1 lessons, waited over 6 weeks for a refund from money owed for a service they couldn’t fulfil due to pool closure then no instructor. And had only one response within this time after multiple phone calls and emails and still waiting for a refund.

Positive experience: Easy to book using the App but had to wait for Aqua Aerobics class to finish & reception to finish dealing with telephone enquiries before being allowed into the changing room. Pool quality was good, but after the Lane swims slot, the next general swims were allowed through before I and other lane swimmers were out of the pool. The showers were very cold despite sign warning showers may be very hot! The receptionist on my way out was cheerful & helpful. More than a year later, the pool water good quality & temperature, air temperature cool & showers very cold - no change there.

Negative experience: Entered the car park to pick up our child from the school gym hall. Agreed there is seemingly a small sign however it was pitch black, ( you can’t see it in the dark)We explained we were in the car park for literally 60 seconds however made my wife go in and pay £5 for the code to exit. Very bad management for a simple mistake, no empathy. Will never use this facility again. Disgusting behaviour.

Fantastic experience: My local gym great facilities for all the family.

Negative experience: Unreliable services. Questionable cleaning practises. Bad management. Facilities often broken down. Delays in spa area. First seasons at steam room and sauna are always 30 minutes late despite you booking it. The online app is hard to navigate and cancelling any bookings . Most of the time no one is answering the phone.They ban you if you miss 3 sessions without any notice, although the app doesn't give you the choice for cancellation. Although you have paid your membership they don't allow you to use your membership . Bad opening hours . They remove the foam from the jacuzzi with the same floor squeegee that they use on the dirty floor . They probably do exactly the same with the mop when they clean the jacuzzi's top sides and the tiles. For one week the string from the dirty mop was there and it would be still still possibly there ,if I hadn't removed it.

Positive experience: Water nice temperature and it was quiet st 3pm which was great

Negative experience: Horrible treatment of customers by management. Always easy on excuses but not on solutions.

Negative experience: Well obviously don't need custo when they don't have working phone. And whats press the pound sign!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Spotlessly clean well run great experience

Negative experience: Trying to get and answer from them is a no go . Parents are still standing outside while their children are getting swimming lessons .when lessons are finished the children are put out side door and if you dont have a car you have to dry and change them outside on grass .

Positive experience: It used to be worse than Dubai for “you can’t do this” or “you can’t do that”. My last visit was on July 2019 & they were not as crabit as usual but even visiting on late 2018 I did notice that they were not as restrictive. Of course they need to make sure of everybody’s safety but up till 2017 they didn’t really want you to enjoy yourself there, more or less just swim up and down and get out. This review was all about the pool.

Negative experience: Went for spa suite.Spa pool not working and was informed by staff member it hasnt worked for 5 weeks but still charging for it.I asked about it and was given refund for spa pool only.Receptionist and duty manager said it sometimes works but staff said not working at all.If i had known i wouldnt have bothered at all.Please inform customers in advance as this is advertising services that you are unable to provide.

Fantastic experience: Used the spa facilities. Spent an hour relaxing. Staff friendly on arrival and when leaving.

Positive experience: Friendly staff and clean changing areas. Could do with some new boxing gloves and a bag

Fantastic experience: Wheelchair access and inside lift for use of multigym, swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Memberships are reasonable

Fantastic experience: Love the walking area surrounding the swimming pool and leisure centre. It will be such a sad loss to the whole community if and when the new so called Super school is built :-(

Positive experience: Opening times are a joke Tuesday Wednesday and the weekend. But apart from the timings, it is a good club. They should have a members committee to put across the feelings of the members.

Negative experience: This pool is extremely disappointing, it has rubbish opening hours it closes half day at weekends ,showers too hot to use properly and without a doubt the place is run to suit certain members of Staff. Roll on the opening of the wonderful outdoor pool, it's well worth the journey.
