Negative experience: Cool gym. Shame about the twins that workout there though. Always trying to sniff peoples bums when they are trying to train . So weird

Positive experience: Gym and sports halls nice and clean. Equipment is good all new, although it is lacking a few machines. Classes that are instructor led are very good but there are too many virtual classes. Staff on front desk mostly unhelpful and miserable looking, you are never acknowledged when you enter or exit the building even if you have difficulty scanning your card, they are not interested at all.

Fantastic experience: Great centre - all brand new. Lots of equipment in the gym, spin classes as well as a good selection of other fitness classes. Nice and clean and welcoming.

Great facility, equipment is top of the range and super easy to connect heart rate monitors, phone etc(if you’re into the whole connected tech thing) Nice group of punters and none of the uncomfortable atmosphere you get in many gyms Huge selection of free weights, weight machines and cv equipment. Staff at reception and in the gym are super friendly and approachable. Plenty of space to sit and chill with a coffee in the reception area after your workout Massive car park What’s not to like

Fantastic experience: Lovely new facility, great gym with lots of equipment, lots of parking on site and staff all very friendly. Particularly want to mention Faye who is always doing a great job, she’s always interacting with the children and adults during the active antz session that we attend and is an asset to the centre.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic new facility we are lucky to have on our doorstep. Classes are brilliant, particularly dance fitness on a Thursday, pilates and body pump. Excellent value for money.

Negative experience: Had a flyer through the door for Castle Farm Leisure Centre. Sadly it didn't say where the leisure centre is and when I called to inquire about membership fees and facilities I was unable to get an answer....

Negative experience: Not a place for any fair badminton game. Badminton court £18 per hour but what they offered was a net for short tennis which ended up terribly bowed/ curved for a badminton court!! Staff spent one second looking at it and went “don’t think we can do better than it”.

Negative experience: Poor show. Son needed the toilet, sign on the front door and inside said the toilets will no longer be available? Why? COVID?

Negative experience: So this is what you have to do if you just want one gym session at this place ,.... you have to find their website, find the specific location you want. Then you have to register with them which requires filling out a long form. And I was having trouble using their bad website. Then you need to watch a safety video on the website Then you have to book a particular time slot. Then you have to enter your card details and pay. Then you have to get there for that time and wait until they give you a card. Then you'll be shown around the gym. Finally you can use the gym. About as hard as flying somewhere. So insanely complicated. Just go to another gym where you can just turn up, pay a fiver and go inside. Or if you want to use their running machines just go for a jog outside. It's free and saves the planet.

Negative experience: This review relates to issues occurring when we went into lockdown and I didn't feel it appropriate at the time to be writing bad reviews. Now that everything is back up and running, I feel people should know what they are paying for. Everyone active by far have the worst communication I have ever experienced with any company not to mention their terrible customer service. It is near impossible to get hold of anyone unless you physically go in, and obviously we couldn't do that when everything was locked down. I was a pay as you go customer and I wanted my money refunded for a class that didn't go ahead. I was told on more than one occasion (when I did manage to get through to someone) that this money would get refunded immediately. This did not happen and so I contacted who I believe to be the area manager Paul Murphy who covers John Atkinson centre, yet is based at Kenilworth. After contacting him and being told I would not get my refund until the centres reopened, I accused Everyone Active of lying. I also asked to speak to his manager, (Gareth Wagg), who is as equally useless, rude and unhelpful as Paul. He said my language was inappropriate (referring to me using the word "lying"), when I was simply stating a fact. All the email correspondence that I received from these two was downright defensive. They knew they were in the wrong and they didnt like being told. Ive had numerous issues with Everyone Actives classes at John Atkinsons in the past, not telling us the class was on, only finding out once we had arrived, for example. The sad thing is the class I went to was great, the teacher, the people and the guy who covered the reception - its just a shame that arrogant managers ruin it, and simply hide behind keyboards. Quite often I saw Paul Murphy coming into the site at Warwick whilst doing my class, but always disappeared just before we finished. Funny that.

Positive experience: Reasonable play equipment but soggy grass and puddles around each

Negative experience: I have tried about ten times to book a Pilates group online it is a group which I used to attend before covid appeared. It is impossible to use their Web site and impossible to contact them by phone as it is either out of order or not answered. I have emailed about it twice and received minimal response with no links and essentially no help. I fail to understand how their motto everyone active fits them in any way.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful grounds to walk the dogs. Lots of water to swim in. Lots of grassy areas. Lovely place

Positive experience: Its just OK, muddy currently, a couple of groups of people breaking covid rules, average playground for kids. Looks like a decent skateboard / scooter park.

Fantastic experience: A god skate park, kids on bikes had enough to keep them entertained for 45 mins, but if you were better there are even more things.

Positive experience: Small but friendly. Good recreation hall offering various classes and opportunities to play badminton, table tennis and indoor bowls. Restrictions at present with distancing measures and covid19 protocol. Gym facilities available. Reasonable parking.

Positive experience: This is a great gym if you’re looking for something small. But sometimes it’s so small that you can’t achieve what you want to. I think at peak times in summer it gets too hot and some of the staff are a bit rude and careless with how they approach customer experience. Would really love to see an improvement in equipment availability and also in the staffs proactiveness to be friendly and adhere to customer needs. Sometimes the front desk is unmanned and this seems a little unprofessional considering members are paying to use that space. The class provision is great, particularly Pilates on a Saturday morning. Overall I’d say it’s 4 stars as some staff are great and others can’t be bothered and the equipment is adequate, but not amazing for the price.

Fantastic experience: Well equipped gym, staff friendly, helpful and cheerful plus loads of parking. What's not to like?

Positive experience: I don’t use the leisure centre but have been to the surroundings/skatepark on numerous occasions - it’s usually very pleasant. But unfortunately on this occasion one or few irresponsible people have left a mess. Cans, bottles and broken glass on the floor and around the ramps. Such a shame.

Positive experience: Seniors badminton is a good standard.

Positive experience: I don't use the leisure centre but the children's playground and skatepark are fine. As you're in Kenilworth, you'll tend to not be hindered by rough types while you and/or your children enjoy the reasonably pleasant surroundings.

Negative experience: Gym now equipped with new machines but they don't have individual TVs as previously when run by the Local Authority. The new operators have finally installed a couple of TVs on the wall but they can't be seen from most of the equipment. There is free WiFi but the signal is too weak to use in the gym. The management of this new operating company perhaps need to try using the facilities rather than planning them from a remote head office.

Positive experience: Great combination of activities from football to scateboarding. This is also Kenilworth scout and guide centre so lots of resources for scouting too.

Negative experience: Place is looking tired with ripped sports hall curtains and a stuffy hall without ventilation.

Positive experience: I use the leisure centre for the gym. It's on the smaller side, but never busy (at most I've seen 7 people at one time). This means you always get to have the work out you want when you want. Very cost effective - recommended

Fantastic experience: I attended on the Exercise on prescription scheme. My coach Amanjeet was familiar with my condition and made the programme fun and achievable. I feel inspired to go there.

Fantastic experience: This leisure centre reopened at the beginning of the year following redevelopment. It now has a much larger gym than before with plenty of equipment available. The equipment is always clean but even though all new equipment you do see some cardio equipment out of order on occasions. The staff are friendly throughout the centre and within the gym I do see personal trainers available. I'm not one for doing the various classes available but these are always popular. There are a few tables and chairs in reception for anyone waiting. The usual vending machines and staff can make drinks from a machine behind the reception counter. There is also a selection of pre-packed cakes and biscuits available.

Positive experience: Nice little sports centre, friendly staff. Park is great as well

Positive experience: Large indoor hall. Available for hire as a venue for children's parties with facilities for food. Can pay a very reasonable hourly rate for a badminton court, ideal for with friends - a top notch family recreation centre.

Positive experience: use the gym here (great value!) and 2 fields/skate park are great for dog walking, recreational use or just about anything else!

Positive experience: This recreation centre is alright, but looks a bit tired. the skate park is well used as are the football pitches, but they good flooded in winter. The children's play area is abysmal, when something gets broken is is removed and not replaced. The whole area looks unloved and in need of TLC.

Positive experience: Good gym had daughters party here was good but they delayed us with getting set up and made us pack away on time which was a bit disappointing but all in all an enjoyable day

Positive experience: Valuable community facility. Make sure you venture to the very back of the field to access the gate that leads to some brilliant walks with views of Kenilworth Castle. You may find peace out there :)
